I would like to use the G030C8T6 MCU to use ICS current sampling. Currently, the MCSDK 6.2.1 does not seem to support it. What should I do？

Hi!I am having an issue with getting my TouchGFX project up and running on my new system. I have a custom board using an STM32H7 MCU on which I am currently running my application. Now I am trying to get my project to run on another custom board, using the same MCU, but on this one, textareas are glitching and not showing. The two boards have separate CubeMX files, so what I've done is that I've imported the GUI from the old board to the new one in TouchGFX Designer using Edit -> Import -> GUI, and it looks to have been successful. But when I run my application on my new board, text is not showing properly. Either they are gone/have disappeared or they are glitching and only showing parts of letters. What can be wrong here? Is it something with the textareas itself? Could I have done something wrong transferring the settings in CubeMX (they look correct)? I am using TouchGFX Designer 4.22. New system screen: Old working system with expected output:

We have received LIS2DS12TR, but we cannot identify the Marking of the Part.On the part there is a QR-Code and a "G". Could you please confirm that this is LIS2DS12TR and what the QR Code is standing for. Thank you in advance

I would like use HRTIM timerA interruption event, so I where looking for the weak function to rewrite it but not found it.I found that I must set compilation flag USE_HAL_HRTIM_REGISTER_CALLBACKS to 1 and make all functions as weak. If I make so strong decision I disturb working that timer?, what is the way to set the compilation flag using cubeide?Is this the function that I must rewrite? void HRTIM1_TIMA_IRQHandler(void) { //USER CODE } or I must do this?: void HRTIM1_TIMA_IRQHandler(void) { //user code HAL_HRTIM_IRQHandler(&hhrtim1,HRTIM_TIMERINDEX_TIMER_A); }

Hi all,I have a question regarding the LSM6DSL's gyroscope high-pass filter configuration. For LSM6DS3, there is an option to reset the high-pass with HP_G_RST = 1. This way, the DC component of the angular velocity is immediately removed, c.f. https://community.st.com/ysqtg83639/attachments/ysqtg83639/mems-sensors-forum/21052/2/AN4650.PDF, figure 5, page 26.How can I achieve the same with the LSM6DSL? According to the datasheet and application notes (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5040-lsm6dsl-alwayson-3d-accelerometer-and-3d-gyroscope-stmicroelectronics.pdf) there is no such option here. I just tried setting the same bit of CTRL7_G to 1 but without the desired effect. Unfortunately, I can't wait for the filter to fully settle down for several seconds to minutes at its lowest cutoff frequency. Are there any workarounds?Kind regardsFelix

I  have a STM32F405 and am trying to setup UART to connect to my pc. As of now I have connected it with an ST-Link/V2 and later on want to program it over USB-C using UART. See the wiring diagram:I have used PA10 and PA9 for RX and TX.The parameter settings are as followed: When it comes to the GPIO settings I have set the maximum output speed to "Very High" (not sure if this is correct). I have watched a guide on YouTube (https://youtu.be/dnfuNT1dPiM?t=4896) about how to getstarted in the STM32CubeIDE and stopped on the part about the "Command Shell Console":At "Connection name" I had none and preesed "New..."Now on the "Serial port", I dont know what to do. See image:I am using a Windows 11 computer and heard something about using Tera Term or Putty, but I dont know how.Can someone explain some more about the Serial port setting? Thank you

Hi community.I'm working with stm32F407VET6 black board, and I need to simulate the project before implementing it in the real system. so, I need a software simulation of stm32F407xx or how to make it in hardware in the loop, I tried to search for a library in proteus, but I don't find one for F407XX.thanks.

JEOC nor JEOS triggers an interrupt. I already made sure that the ADC and the interrupt itself are working. (Regular conversion start by software).Tried both trgo2 of timer and CC4 of timer to connect the adc with, which both did not work.CCR4 is smaller than ARR.I made sure that the registers were written like supposed. I did not find an issue:  STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR:0x1 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/JQOVF:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/AWD3:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/AWD2:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/AWD1:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/JEOS:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/JEOC:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/OVR:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/EOS:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/EOC:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/EOSMP:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/ISR/ADRDY:0x1 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER:0x40 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/JQOVFIE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/AWD3IE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/AWD2IE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/AWD1IE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/JEOSIE:0x1 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/JEOCIE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/OVRIE:0x0 STM32G431xx/ADC1/IER/EOSIE:0x0 STM32

I fear there is an error in the new Nucleo-U031R8 board. The D13 pin is labeled as the SPI1 SCK pin on the boards' silkscreen. However, the board schematic shows that this is connected to PA5. STM32CubeMX reports pin PA1 as the actual SPI1 SCK pin.Source: https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1932-u031r8-b01-schematic.pdfSource: STM32CubeMX configuration starting from the Nucleo-U031R8Tx board. I've confirmed A1 (Connected to PA1) to be the actual SCK pin with both a logic analyzer and functioning SPI sensor (which was not the case with SCK -> D13).

HI I need to know the pin names for motor controller PWM out  PWM High and PWM LOW i can not directly PWM out function for pins Also need capture control pin details to measure the PWM. As i have to assign these pins for controller

Good morning,I work actualy with the LIS344LH accelererometer and I was informed it will not be available anymore.Do you know any other devices that would substituate it ? I need it for measuring the movement of a tuning fork with a resonnance frequency of 1.8kHz.Thank you everyone :)

Hi all,I realized my custom external loader for STM32CubeProgrammer and it works fine when used from the Programmer GUI.I can program, erase ad read external flash. Now I'd like to use the command line interface but I cannot find how to mass erase the external flash from CLI.If I load a .HEX file for the external flash the affected sectors are erased and programmed perfectly, but issuing the -e all command anly erases the internal flash.Since my .hex file contains only used external flash areas, I'd like to do a mass erase before writing so I'm sure that flash is clean before writing.External mass erase is possible from GUI so I suppose it is also possibel from command line...Any suggestion? Thanks,Davide

Hello ST Community! Please help with resolving issue with WHO_AM_I register!Firmware that I'm using on MKI109V3 board is V3.65.5.

(mildly off topic) To power the STM32WL5EJC, we need to make a custom board incorporating the charging and protection circuit since 30mAh Li ion cell does not have build-in protection board. Appreciate circuit diagram, for or similar to, the popular Li ion cell charging board using TP4056 and protection chip DW01A.  Many thanks

Is the STM32WL5JC has TCXO oscillator for the LoRa transceiver?   What is ppm frequency accuracy?I would like to send 20 bytes to maximum distance using maximum spread factor, SF12.  On air time is about 1.2 seconds.  From reading, standard bandwidth seems 125 kHz.  I may have to reduce bandwidth to, says 30 kHz, to increase receiver sensitivity. 1. How is the oscillator frequency tolerance between two boards?  Presumably, I should not reduce bandwidth too narrow toward the freq tolerance limit.  Any idea on a safe value? Twice crystal ppm plus some margin, plus some for sensor at motion (says 3 to 5 miles per hour)?2. The packet tx time is "long" at 1.2 seconds.  Will the oscillator drift within the tx time become significant?  Seem read 'automatic frequency correction/tracking/compensation' some where?  Does this chip has such facility?  Is it turn on "low data rate optimization"?  I can heat up the AC powered base stat

I have a .cmd script to do headless builds on Windows 11:  @Echo off echo incrementally building... set PROJECT_DIR=%cd%\.. set PROJECT_NAME=MY_PROJECT_NAME set BUILD_TYPE=Debug set workspace_folder=%temp%\%PROJECT_NAME%_workspace mkdir %workspace_folder% C:\ST\STM32CubeIDE_1.11.2\STM32CubeIDE\headless-build.bat -data %workspace_folder% -import %PROJECT_DIR% -build %PROJECT_NAME%/%BUILD_TYPE% exit /b %ERRORLEVEL%  It builds perfectly:  13:31:22 Build Finished. 0 errors, 0 warnings. (took 3s.227ms)  After this the command prompt sometimes hangs for about 20 seconds. But not always.First build after switching between TouchGFX, command prompt or STM32CubeIDE freezes 20 seconds (in TouchGFX or command prompt), subsequent builds don't freeze until I switch again. This is not a big deal as it's only the first build, but I still like to have it fixed. I tried many things:starting it with START "" /WAIT /Bstarting it with START "" /WAIT /B /HIGHcopyi

Hi, I have a B-L475E-IOT01A2 board and I would like to implement an USB HID application on it. I use the example project found in the Github repository [1]. The application compiles and the USB device is detected on my computer as an input device. The problem is that upon a USB disconnect, the PC seems to jump to 0x0. When plugging the USB cable in again, the application runs again, but it seems I cannot run any code (in, e.g., the main while loop) after a USB disconnect interrupt while the cable is disconnected.I see this problem both with STM32CubeIDE with ST-Link as well as with SEGGER j-link and Ozone. In Ozone, I can set a breakpoint in the PCD Interrupt Handler for disconnect events (using USB_OTG_GINTSTS_OTGINT), which will trip upon disconnect. If I step through, I can finish HAL_PCD_IRQHandler to get back to OTG_FS_IRQHandler. As far as I can see, the PC clears to 0x0 after the POP {R7, PC} instruction which returns from the exception handler "OTG_FS_IRQHandler".It can also be

Hi Looking at the PD55015 it has a declared output power of 15W. The evaluation board STEVAL-TDR016V1 on the other hand is rated at 30W output power? How can the evaluation boar be rated at twice the output power of the device it is demonstrating without running multiple devices in parallel? @Peter BENSCH?   Which is the proper group and label for RF power amplifiers/transistors? I found no match

HelloLast week I received the ST25RU3993-HPEV devlopment kit. I have already downloaded the SDK and tried it out. Unfortunately, I have not found any information on how to write firmware for the board myself. Is that even possible? Or is there a way to communicate with the board via UART using AT commands, for example?

I am doing a USB HID project and have followed a lot of the setting up of this YouTube video. I have set it up to send a string when I press a button. Using Device Monitoring Studio, I can see that when the device is plugged in, it reads the descriptor, checks the PID and VID and responds to the button press and receives the string. If I leave it for roughly 5 seconds (DMS measured 5.0087 & 5.0013 seconds) then it goes into a suspended state. Once this has happened, any button presses are ignored, and I am unable to get the USB to respond to anything, unless I unplug it and plug it in again. If I do this, it works fine until it is left for another 5 seconds. I have even removed the code inside the HAL_PCD_SuspendCallback in usbd_conf.c to try and stop it getting suspended but it still goes unresponsive. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do now!

I'm working on a state machine for a console application, and I would like to use std::strings in C++, as they are much nicer to work with than C-style strings.Including the string library does not result in errors, but when I call string objects in the code I start to get errors.  Here's an example of the code I am using://const char* output; //No errors in c-style strings std::string(output); //Compiles, but results in linker error switch(mState) { case MAIN_STATE: output = "\r\nmain->"; break; case CAN_STATE: output = "\r\ncan->"; break; case UART_STATE: output = "\r\nuart->"; break; case GPIO_STATE: output = "\r\ngpio->"; break; default: output = "\r\nMAIN->"; break; } //Print(output); //No errors with C-style Strings Print(output.c_str()); //Compiles, but results in linker error As I indicated in the code comments, any time I call a function from the <string> library, I get the following linker error:07:41:57 **** Increment

During compilation with IAR, I ran into an error. Please refer to the picture below. Upon checking the source size via the map file, it appears as follows: After examining the RAM size, it seems that the capacity of SRAM1 is less than 12K. I believe this shouldn't cause a compilation error. What could be the cause of the compilation error?

i'm using stm32c011f4u6 mcu's DK(stm32c0116dk), and i generate the file as mdk-arm and it's running with keil5.i tried erase to test the flash memory, but it doesn't work. i even used the SDK example file, and i get the same error. Below is the main.c file. /* USER CODE BEGIN Header *//********************************************************************************* @file FLASH/FLASH_EraseProgram/Src/main.c* @author MCD Application Team* @brief This example provides a description of how to erase and program the* STM32C0xx FLASH.******************************************************************************* @attention** Copyright (c) 2022 STMicroelectronics.* All rights reserved.** This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file* in the root directory of this software component.* If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS.********************************************************************************//* USER CODE END Header *

I'm tring implement IAP on NUCLEO-H745ZI-Q.So. I seen STM32h743-eval IAP Example. But I have two bank and two core for cm7 and cm4.I don't know how to implement the bootloader. And should I create and transfer bin files for cm4 and cm7 respectively?
