Hello,Greetings to all community members, This post is regarding USB enumeration in STM32H7 series. I am currently using MCU STM32H747XIH6 for one my project in which I am configuring this MCU in USB Host by using USB_OTG feature available in it. I am using firmware package of STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.0 as a reference driver and USB HOST library from it.I am currently testing USB HID Keyboard on the custom PCB of above mentioned controller from which it has been observed that some keyboard are get detecting (i.e. enumerating and then registering its class) while some are not.For example, if I connect "DELL" keyboard to my PCB then it get fail in enumeration process, while other keyboard get enumerated after some trials and some keyboard get enumerated instantly...!!!While debugging though code, I found that after HOST_DEV_ATTACHED stage is completed and HOST_ENUMERATION stage get starts, it first transfer command of get descriptor from USB keyboard and in state machine of U

Hi everyone,As commented in the title, in our system we have two ways of working. At low speed (120MHz) and at high speed (480MHz). When reading the ADC3 (temperature sensor) depending on the mode (low or high speed) I get different values. When I work at low speed I can read values around 25º~30º (OK values) but when I read at high speed my values go around 40º~45º.My config:I'm using the ADC3 as a temperature sensor with a clock preescaler of SYNC_DIV4 which I understand that I'm taking the sample frequency from AHB.I have seen that if I use the same SYNC but with another DIV(1 or 2) I obtain wrong values when usign low speed very similar like when working at high speed. But when using ASYNC option values always remain equal, for low speed OK but high speed Wrong. In clock configuration I have configured the PLL2P to work with the ADC at 5,12Mhz. I attach here my configs:My ADC configuration: void MX_ADC3_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC3_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END

hey every one .I'm working on SPI and configuring a slave which should answer to the master request . slave reception process work with interrupt after 2 successful reception. THIS IS MY CODE :   /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2024 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ****************************************************************************** */ /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" /* Private includes ---------------------

Am searching for SFI documentation without HSM to demonstrate to a Device certificate authority. Can you please share UserManual or ApplicationNote for STM32H573I-DK.BestRegards,P.Hitesh

The MCU for my project is CY8C4147LQS-S473 from PSOC, so it must be developed on the PSOC IDE. I would like to add the ST25R3920 module now. Is there a firmware library available for me to download.

I think you guys have an issue here with your return in aci_gap_slave_security_req_rp0.Command itself works fine, as android does show a Pair Request. But I get a error on the Status response. Looking  in documents it is ACI_GAP_PERIPHERAL_SECURITY_REQ now.Wondering if name was changed following a fix in later stack ? which one? Issue in short:I see that the response has my connection handle ID  instead of Status. My handle was 0x0801, and my Status fieldis 0x01. Please keep me updated on fix,  I am on 1.16.04 .

I have several boards with lis2dh12 and all of them keeps return constant data for lis2dw12_acceleration_raw_get function, every board has its own constant, 0x5050, 0xe0e0, 0x7070.I tried using the STEVAL-MKI135V1 connected to STM3220G-EVAL to test maybe our implementation and board design is the problem, but the same happens, it returns constant 0x6060.We also have some boards that we use lis2dw12 instead, everything else is exactly the same, and it works great with the drivers for this sensor. Here is the code for init and for reading data:void Accelerometer_Init(void) { lis2dw12_device_id_get(&dev_ctx, &whoamI);   if (whoamI == LIS2DW12_ID) { /* Restore default configuration */ // lis2dw12_reset_set(&dev_ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE);   // do { // lis2dw12_reset_get(&dev_ctx, &rst); // } while (rst);   /* Enable Block Data Update */ lis2dw12_block_data_update_set(&dev_ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE); /* Set full scale */ //lis2dw12_full_scale_set

When using the STM32H750VBT6, I supplied around 1.37-1.4 supply voltage to the external pins VCAP1 and VCAP2,the project was configured as an external power supply using cubemx software.HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY); is used in the program.Frequency automatically configured to 480 MHz via cubemx (internal clock source).According to the manual said burned into the power-off restart, and then to be effective, after the start may not be able to recognize the chip can not be debugged, good luck may be debugging, but run for a while will enter the Hardware Error Interrupt Function in the HardFault_Handler().How to solve this problem.

Hi all,I have create a custom container named "tableLine":And using the "tableLine", I make a "table":in "tableLine.cpp", I write the following code:void tableLine::setLineContent(tableItem_t* item) { Unicode::snprintf(txtIDBuffer, TXTID_SIZE, "%s", item->ID); Unicode::snprintf(txtTimeBuffer, TXTTIME_SIZE, "%04x%04x", item->date, item->time); txtID.invalidate(); txtTime.invalidate(); #ifdef SIMULATOR touchgfx_printf("setLineContent: %s %04x%04x\n", item->ID, item->date, item->time); #endif }And when I click the button "show data", the function "setLineContent()" will be called. Both of the simulator and the MCU is work well except the table content has NOT display. The simulator log as below:I already read and try the tutorial-04 successfully, I think the situation is the same, but why my program can NOT work as my expectation.Could you help me?Thanks a lot.

Hi, I am using the B-U585I-IOT20A Board and I want the board to notify me in some way if someone is attempting to access and modify its content via JTAG. Is there a way to do this?

Hey,I started using the ST25R3916 discovery board and I have this error:a ST-Link is detected instead of an "STM device on DFU mode"I tried using the ST-link utility to make some test but I'm still not able to switch of device mode Now I am only connected with the USB port and the board's screen show the USB mode, only my PC doesn't recognise it correctly. Is there someone who know how to resolve this issue ?Thanks,Antoine, from Kuvee

Where can I find the version of the HOST_USB library I am using? Does the library version depend on the Firmware Package or the version of CubeMX?   Thanks   Marco

Hello STM32 Community,I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out regarding a project we're developing using the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. Our project requires the use of the Mbus stack protocol for communication purposes. However, when attempting to generate code using STM32CubeIDE, we noticed that there is no option for selecting the Mbus stack protocol in the .ioc file. This has left us wondering if drivers for the Mbus stack protocol are available for the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. We would greatly appreciate it if anyone could provide guidance on where to find or how to obtain the drivers for the Mbus stack protocol compatible with the STM32WL5MOCH6TR microcontroller. Additionally, if anyone has experience working with the Mbus stack protocol on STM32WL5MOCH6TR or a similar platform, we would welcome any advice or insights you may have.Thank you in advance for your assistance and support.Best regards,Taksh Patel.

Hello,I'm managing a Wifi modem using one of the USARTs of the STM32L475.Modem is working fine when sending and receiving AT commands and data, but I'm not able to receive URC's.I only receive URC's when they come 'together' (very close) to the answer of a AT command. But if do not receive any URC when micro is not asking nothing: in this case, micro has RX IRQ activated (HAL_UART_Receive_IT(...)), and micro enters into the HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback when receiving data, but no URC is received --> The only character received at this time is either 0x0A or 0x0D.Any suggestion in managing URCs?Regards

Hello, I m using an STM32F249I DISC1 board. I'm trying to start-off with a basic USB VCP loopback functionality. I generated the code for USBFS as a CDC Device (VCP) using CubeMx. I set the clock to 168MHz (so that USBFS is clocked at 48 MHz). I have also given appropriate Stack and Heap sizes. And I am using Windows 10. However, the board doesn't enumerate as a VCP, in fact it isn't even detected on the bus (i.e. I don't see any activity on my PC). What else can be the issue? Any code examples that I should refer to? Thanks

I am working on NUCLEO-H563ZI evaluation board interfacing with QSPI external memory. I have done below steps,I am able to do read and write.I have created the external loader file.I am able to run application code in external memory with debugger support. Now i am trying to run application code from external memory with bootloader code but i am always ending up with code crash. Could anybody give a clue how to debug this issue? Note: I have flashed the application code in external memory using cube programmer with external loader.         I have enabled the memory mapped mode in boot up code and able to see the app code in Ext memory.          I have written jump code like below and changed linker script also, /* Disable Systick interrupt */SysTick->CTRL = 0; /* Jump to application */jumpToApplication = (pFunction)(*(__IO uint32_t*)(APPLICATION_ADDRESS + 4));__set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*)APPLICATION_ADDRESS);jumpToApplica

Somewhere between CubeMX 6.9 and 6.11 a bug has been introduced that reports the PLLQ can only be less than 33MHz. It is not honouring the Voltage scale set in the RCC parameters.I have set the voltage scale to "Scale 1" but it still reports the PLLQ to be limited to 32MHz which is actually "Scale 2"

HiI use STM32U5 SPI2 in Salve mode to only receive data，and the data-size is 16Bit. Because the rate is very fast, I use the DMA_LINKEDLIST_CIRCULAR mode combined with the DMA half-full interrupt solution. When I used HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA() to start SPI reception, I found that I encountered a Hardfault, in the following code.I found that the hspi->hdmarx->Init.DestDataWidth value was abnormal. Because this value is not assigned in the HAL_SPI_MspDeInit() initialization function. So I added an assignment statement by myself, handle_GPDMA1_Channel0.Init.DestDataWidth = DMA_DEST_DATAWIDTH_HALFWORD, to solve the HardFault. It seems that the DMA is working normally. The question is, is this modification possible?

Hi,I want to start two PWM timers at the same frequency but with an offset of a few 100 us to few ms range but it doesn't appear to work. I've been experimenting with something like this:PCLK1Freq = HAL_RCC_GetPCLK1Freq()*2; TIM3->ARR = (uint32_t)(((double)PCLK1Freq / (double)m_dat.fI) / ((double)TIM3->PSC + 1)) - 1; TIM4->ARR = (uint32_t)(((double)PCLK1Freq / (double)m_dat.fI) / ((double)TIM4->PSC + 1)) - 1; TIM3->CCR1 = TICKPERNANOSEC * (float)m_dat.fW; TIM4->CCR1 = 1;HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_custom(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1);HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_custom(&htim4, TIM_CHANNEL_1); __HAL_TIM_ENABLE(&htim3); // Ensure the timer is actually enabledvTaskDelay(delay_cnt); __HAL_TIM_ENABLE(&htim4); // Ensure the timer is actually enabledThe function HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_custom() is nothing else than HAL_TIM_PWM_Start() with the __HAL_TIM_ENABLE calls commented out to be able to set the timers up and then start them back to back.Now turns out that the c

I was about to configure the FreeRTOS for my project when I noticed the following: TICK_RATE_HZTICK_RATE_HZ must be between 1 and 1 000.Parameter Description:Sets the tick interrupt frequency. The value is specified in Hz.Warning: The max value is 1000, as higher values generate compilation errors (division by zero) Does it mean 1000Hz is the fastest FreeRTOS can work with, and anything else should follow a bare-metal approach?I found this related topic, but it is not clear to me if that applies to STM32. Hence, I would appreciate the opinion of the experts here.

"I successfully ran a simple Azure RTOS task using nucleo-f429zi, stm32cubemx, and iar ewarm 9.30. However, when I apply the same method to nucleo-f401re, it gets stuck in the tx_thread_sleep function. It seems that the OS Tick interrupt might not be occurring properly. Therefore, I have the following questions:Why is it possible to use Azure RTOS easily with stm32CubeMX on Nucleo-F429ZI, but not on Nucleo-F401RE?What could be the cause of this issue, and how can it be resolved?"Thanks in advance.

Hi,I'm designing a board for weather observations and having a problem with the RTC timing out.I'm using a TCXO as the input for the RTC on LSE.  The particular TCXO is ECS-327TXO-2012-33-TR.Here is the weird thing.  If the board is inside a building, my house in this case, all is good, the RTC starts up no problem.   However, if the board is outside (it's a weather instrument so it will operate outside on battery power), the RTC fails to start up, with a timeout inside RTC_EnterInitMode.If I run the RTC on LSI then all is fine, but I need more accuracy, thus the TCXO.Below are details on the setup.  If any further information is required let me know.Any help would be greatly appreciated!  This one really has me stumped.JerryThe circuit diagram for the TCXO is:Where XRTC-IN is connected to pin 3 (PC14-OSC32-IN) of a STM32L496RGT3.Below is SystemClock_Config: void SystemClock_Config(void){RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0};RCC_ClkInit

Hello,I am using STM32L052K6T6 with a passive buzzer is connected to PA6. Idea was to use TIM22_CH1 as PWM output to feed the buzzer. However when I get to configure PWM on this port, only relevant looking option is "PWM Generation No Output" and indeed the pin does not seem to be outputting any PWM waveform.I might be misunderstanding something, what does PWM Generation No Output means ? I checked the Datasheet several times, and there is no difference on specs between this channel and others. What does it mean a pin being assigned to PWM but not outputting ?Is there a way for me to get PWM output from this pin (aside from bouncing the pin manually on every timer interrupt) ?Many thanks,Ali

I recently create a project for a NUCLEO-WB15CC on STM32CubeMX where the output was the following:Is there any solution for this warning?

I have 2 projects for a nucleo-H536ZI. the first project the printf()s work and are tied to the _write() function which I have debugged and proven. The second project the printfs() do not work using the same printf() & _write() function code again and I have verified it gets to the correct  _write(), code shown below. Both projects have the same pins (verified) and the same MX_USART2_UART_Init() as shown below. I did copy and drop the BSP folder from the repository incase it maters on the project that doesn't work. Both have the same debugger configurations set up. I have shown the code that both projects use in main() to get to the first printf() statement.  I am out of ideas why one works and the other does not, any help is most appreciated.PA0 CTSPA3 RxPD4 RTSPD5 Tx  ==================================== int main(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN 1 *//* USER CODE END 1 *//* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*//* Res
