Hello everyone!I have succesfully connected my p2pRouter (it is a STM32WB5x) to a p2pServer (always STM32WB5x). On the Server there is an IMU and I want to send data from server to router via bluetooth. If I connect my phone to the server with STBLESensorAPP and select accelerometer feature it works and I can see accelerometer data on my phone. But it doesn't happen the same when I do this with router.Specifically, on server side, accelerometer data are stored in a service called My_P2PServer using the following functions:  ret = aci_gatt_add_service(UUID_TYPE_128,                             (Service_UUID_t *) &uuid,                             PRIMARY_SERVICE,      &

When i debug SPI1 on STM32F407, program will jump to 0x00 when write DR register, MCU reset and loop continuely. when i measure the SCLK signal using oscillator, SCLK is always high after SPI1 is enabled  When i write to DR of SPI1, the code jump to mainI check the SCLK keep high after SPI1 enabledI searched on the net, and this is suggest that SPI1 SCLK shared same pin with JTAG-TDO, Jtag should be disabled, but for 407, there is no the JTAG disable instruction in HAL. Is there anyone can help me on this or give me some hints? Thanks

Hi,I'm using TMS570 with SPC5STUDIO environment. My toolchain generates out.elf and out.hex but I would like to have a byte hex stream (without address and other information) directly do use as download byanother microcontroller that lead TMS570.I have to write a source code to analyze and parse the .hex orit already exsist that format?ThanksFabio

I am using STM32L496ZGT6P. When using DAC along with DMA to generate voltage and frequency of my desired range. But I am unable to get hold of the frequency setting. Sysclk I set is 4Mhz. 20 is prescaler value, 4Mhz/20 = 200000.This is further divided by 10 which is time period(ARR) .I am supposed to get 20000 as output in DAC, which I am getting in UART because of the below function, but I am not getting that in CRO. in CRO I am getting 100Hz when I tap DAC output. I have cross checked the output of the DAC using multimeter also. I am getting 100Hz in multimeter. I am unable to figure it out where is the mistake. So any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.uint32_t Get_Timer2_Frequency(void){   pclk1 = HAL_RCC_GetPCLK1Freq();    prescaler = ((RCC->CFGR & RCC_CFGR_PPRE1) >> RCC_CFGR_PPRE1_Pos);   timer_clock = pclk1;   if (prescaler != 0) {         timer_clock = 2 * pclk1;   }

Hello,I am trying to make STM32F020c8t6 enter boot loader by connecting the Boot0 pin to HIGH via a 10k as given in some forms and pressing the reset. I connected the MCU UART1 to Laptop running Cube Programmer and use the UART option. The MCU uart1 RX , TX and GND are connected via USB to uart converter which is working for all UART communications...My observations: When I tie the Boot0 pin to high and press the NRST(to GND), the processor enters some state which is not running my regular code. But it does not  connect to Cube Programmer via serial port.I tried this patternPattern 2 Boot0(pin) = 1 and nBoot1(bit) = 1 even tried with nBoot=0 also via Cube Programmer and stlink-v3.Cube programmer says no response from the device some K0 stuff also. When I try STM32F103 device the above sequence works perfectly. Please suggest some clues

The U2 on my STM32F407G-DISC1 is shorted and needs to be replaced. Is the STM32F103CBT6(U2) pre-programmed, or can I just replace it with a new blank STM32F103CBT6 and it gets programmed when you DFU firmware the STM32F407G-DISC1 board.Hardware isn't a problem for me because I'm a Mech Eng, but how all this software works baffles me, ie, I'm assuming U2 is just a micro and needs code before it becomes functional for whatever it does - lol -.

Hi,I'm trying to run STM32F429  using LL library to send data periodically.as a start, i'm sending 1 char every 1 sec, but  i'm receive a wrong char (i send 'A', i receive something not clear), and when i call my custom systemClockConfig function, the UART_transmit function doesn't work.i'm using keil as IDE, i have tryed stmcubeide and with the generated project, it works fine, but even when i copy and past the same exact function (UART config, system clock config, and also the main config) in keil it doesn't work. #include "stm32f4xx_ll_rcc.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_bus.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_cortex.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_utils.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_pwr.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_gpio.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_spi.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_usart.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_system.h" void vSystemClockConfig(void); static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void); int main(void){ vSystemClockConfig(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); while(1){ while(!LL_USART_IsActiveFlag_TX

Hello ST Dear ST Community, I'm currently trying to migrate my solution from stm32mp1-openstlinux-5-4-dunfell-mp1-20-06-24   to stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15 Im using a ST7789V Based LCD, and its working trough /dev/fb0 and fbdev under /video/fbtft and /video/fbdev under dunfell sourceshowever in the kirkstone distro stuff are different , i only see staging/fbtft , i managed to get the right configuration and activate it the LCD driver is loadedin the boot it shows this    [ 0.516659] SPI driver fb_st7789v has no spi_device_id for sitronix,st7789v [ 9.137538] systemd[1]: System time before build time, advancing clock. Hello, I found this chip, but I can't find the package, nor the part number of this chip, please help me, thank you!

Hello everyone, I'am designing a model rocket flight computer. This is a two stage rocket so that's mean I will use two flight computer.Flight computers should have a communication between themselfs. For this communication which one is better? Directly connect two UART's of MCU's each other or UART-RS232 converter circuit ? I will use only RX-TX-GND pin in RS232 connection.  a visualization for better understanding...   Thank you!

Hello everyone,I hope you're doing well. I'm currently working on a project using the STM32U575ZIT6 microcontroller, and I'm facing a peculiar issue with GPIOG.I have successfully manipulated GPIOB and GPIOC for controlling LEDs, but I'm encountering difficulties with GPIOG. I've double-checked my connections, and everything seems to be in order. Here's a brief overview of my setup:LED1 on GPIOB is working fine.LED2 on GPIOC is also functioning correctly. However, LED3 on GPIOG is not responding as expected.I've verified the connections and configuration for GPIOG, but it seems that the port is not responding as anticipated. If anyone has experience with this microcontroller or has encountered a similar issue, I would greatly appreciate your insights. Here are some details that might help diagnose the problem:STM32U575ZIT6 microcontrollerLED1 on GPIOBLED2 on GPIOCLED3 on GPIOGIf you have any suggestions, advice, or troubleshooting steps, please share them. I'm eager to resolve this issue

Hi!I was recommended to use the pre-built basic start-up projects for the STM32MP series, instead of buildning my own from scratch.Solved: Re: Why are the DDR_DQ signals mixed in unsorted o... - STMicroelectronics CommunityThe project files are Altium Designer only, and I have Altium CircuitMaker. Hi CommunityI'm working on a project with stm32F407VET6, and I need a database for storing data. I found the ITTIA DB, and I install it from stm32 cube ide in the middleware categories (FreeRTOS support) but when I read the documentation in the official site, I read that it's not free, but I install it in stm32 normally.so, I need to know if ITTIA is free for stm32. and if not, Is there a free database for the stm23?thanks.

Hello all,I am implementing an external loader for STM32F429 and W25Q64. The STM32CubeIDE Version is 1.15.1 and STM32CubeProgrammer is 2.16.0.I success programming a 64k bin file with the external loader while failed to program a bigger size file (150K). The attachments are the logs of STM32CubeProgrammer .The Dev_inf is as below:  struct StorageInfo const StorageInfo = { "W25Q64_STM32F429BIT6_SPI", SPI_FLASH, 0x90000000, 0x00800000, 0x0100, //256b 0xFF, // Specify Size and Address of Sectors (view example below) 0x0800, 0x1000, //4kB 0x00000000, 0x00000000, };   May I have any suggestions on this case? Thanks.

Hi,I have a X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 and trying to use ST25R3916B RFAL library with nRF5340 from nordic semiconductor. SPI communication and initialization are working. I am running  demoCycle() function from demo_polling.c. However, in the logs, I receive always null as ID or Block Data.  D: Toggling Wake Up mode OFF D: ISO14443A/NFC-A card found. UID: (null) D: Read Block: OK Data: (null) D: Toggling Wake Up mode ON When I put my phone close to reader I receive following:  D: NFCA Passive ISO-DEP device found. UID: (null) D: Select NDEF Application: OK Data: (null) D: Select CC: OK Data: (null) D: Read CC: OK Data: (null) D: Toggling Wake Up mode OFF Why is it not reading any data? How can I run the demo?

Hi,The chip I am using is STM32WB55RGV6. I put it into shutdown mode and tested its current. I am using instrument room N6705C for power supply, with a voltage set to 3.3V for testing. The test result is an average current chamber of a few nA, but the waveform of the current is fluctuating, and the maximum current will look like 5uA. Is this normal? What should the current waveform look like in a normal shutdown mode？It can be confirmed that there are basically no external connections to the IO port, and they are all configured in analog mode. I am using an inductor of 2.2uH.Thanks.

Hi everyone,we have prototype with three STM32F030RC and with very strange behavior. All mcu has shared NRST (pulled up, for testing not externally driven) and BOOT0 (for testing pulled low permanently) pins. For a testing purpose I created clean project in CubeIde (1.5.1), in MX was configured only GPIO and in main while loop was added one pin toggle after 1ms (just for doing anything). When I'm stepping debugger line after line ('step-into'), application works well, but when I hit 'resume' button (or the 'step-over' button is pressed a few time) MCU is resetted (OCD prints 'external reset detected') and after pausing the code is 'lost' somewhere around 1xffff... Address according to manual belongs to the bootloader. When I check RCC_OCR register, it says the 'software reset' occured. When I'm looking to BOOT pin with osciloscope the signal is rock stable low and NRST pin is truly dropped into reset for about 40us.I really don't understand what is wrong here. How can application

Hello,I have found a strong isssue in:STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.15.1Build: 21094_20240412_1041 (UTC)(C) 2024 STMicroelectronics ALL RIGHTS RESERVEDThe IOC configurator for the STM32H755 lacks an option in the RCC configurationPower Parameters -> SupplySourceThe PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY setting is missing. This setting is required for the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q board which default supply configuration:the SMPS feeds the core without using the LDO.Regards.

I am transmitting a CAN signal using bluepill but there is no signal on the CAN Bus. I added two counters which will check whether transmission was successful with the following code.if(HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage(&hcan, &TxHeader, TxData, &TxMailbox) == HAL_OK){ transmitCount++; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_13, 0); } else { failCount++; HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOC, GPIO_PIN_13, 1); }The transmitCount is increasing till 19 everytime, and then failCount starts to increase. This is not happening always, sometimes it works properly, sometimes it causes issue. I currently have 2 bluepills, this issue is happening in one and the other is working properly. but earlier, both bluepills were working.I have made the CAN bus hardware as stable as possible to eliminate any loose connections. So loose connection is highly unlikely. They why might it be behaving differently everytime? Why is it increasing till exactly 19 everytime?I have attached the full project, ioc file and main.c file w

Posted on August 07, 2014 at 12:03Hello community, i try to use the PinMap wizard in SPC5 Studio 3 and i receive the meassage ''Device specific model ''SPC563M64L7'' not supported!'' and it seems that there is no support for any model cause i try it with different cpu's. I use the SPC56M- Discovery board and i'm wondering also that this board is not available in the SPC5Studio Application Wizard. Any ideas? Thanks for your help! - Marc

I will be testing out the VL53L8CX_NB, perhaps next week. I notice it has a setting for the number of targets detected per zone. My plan is to have 8x8 setting, so 64 zones. I note the firmware has setting of 1 target per zone. The current setting is strongest target order. My plan is to set the target order to nearest and the target number to 2. Will there be sufficient memory RAM for this? With regards to RAM does this mean the host controller, or the TOF sensor device. If the issue is at the host controller end, it should be easier to resolve. I am hoping just changing this parameter to 2, will be sufficient, for accessing data with regards to 2 targets.

How to attach code in message so that it appears in grey box?   Many thanks

I am using a touch controller with TouchGFX on a custom board. It is using I2C1 on the MCU and is working fine with TouchGFX. However, when MX_TouchGFX_Init() runs it is reconfiguring pins on the MCU for I2C2 that I am using for other functions. I2C2 is not being used and I never enabled or configured it in CubeMX. HAL::initialize() in the following TouchGFX code is remapping the GPIO pins to I2C2: void TouchGFXGeneratedHAL::initialize(){HAL::initialize();registerEventListener(*(Application::getInstance()));enableLCDControllerInterrupt();enableInterrupts();setFrameBufferStartAddresses((void*)frameBuf, (void*)(frameBuf + sizeof(frameBuf) / (sizeof(uint32_t) * 2)), (void*)0);} I am reconfiguring the pins back to GPIO after MX_TouchGFX_Init() runs, but would like to fix this in TouchGFX.There is a reference to a touch controller driver in the TouchGFX HAL - touchController(touchCtrl), butI can't find where TouchGFX is trying to use I2C2 when my touchscreen driver is using I2C1 a
