Hi everyone,First I am sorry for the uneducated rest of this text and badly written code.I am currently playing around with a stm32f4 chip. I am using Platform IO CMSIS and a cheap stlink v2 to program the chip. I was trying to get PWM working when the chip wouldn't connect anymore. I was trying to do this by using the TIM1 peripheral which didn't work and then switched to the TIM3. Unfortunately I am not sure when the chip stopped to respond. I also coded my own clock config which worked fine the first 100 flashes or so.  I have heart that bad clock config can "brick" the chip but since it worked and then didn't even tough I didn't touch the clock code anymore I am confused. Here is my clock config:#include "clock_config.h" /** * Configures the stm32 to use the internal 16Mhz clock */ void configure_clock(){ // Reset the flash 'Access Control Register' // set wait-state to 1 // enable prefetch buffer FLASH->ACR &= ~(FLASH_ACR_LATENCY_Msk | FLASH_ACR

hello@SL2 I am configuring with QuadSPI Dual and encountering an issue where it remains in a busy state and does not resolve.The circuit is not properly connected yet, so I am currently only testing the pin output.I want to output to Bank2 IO.   I initialized it as follows: static void MX_QUADSPI_Init(void){  hxspi.Instance = QUADSPI;hxspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 255;hxspi.Init.FifoThresholdByte = 1;hxspi.Init.SampleShifting = XSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_NONE;hxspi.Init.MemorySize = 0;hxspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTimeCycle = 1;//XSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_1_CYCLE;hxspi.Init.ClockMode = XSPI_CLOCK_MODE_3;hxspi.Init.MemoryMode = HAL_XSPI_DUAL_MEM;//XSPI_DUALFLASH_ENABLE;if (HAL_XSPI_Init(&hxspi) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();}  } XSPI_ResetChip();HAL_Delay(2);XSPI_AutoPollingMemReady();XSPI_WriteEnable();HAL_XSPI_Command(&hxspi, &sCommand, HAL_XSPI_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT_VALUE);XSPI_Configuration();XSPI_AutoPollingMemReady(); while (1){  &nbsp

Hello, I'm using the STM32H563 and performed a standart procedure to change the product state, perform provisioning and change the product state to closed, all through standart provision operation with the STM32CubeProgrammer for the first time working with this core.It worked, the product lost interface with the debug, I can't read it's flash memory through the software, but it's failing to perform the debug authentication and full regression of the processor to OPEN product state again.I tried running the discover command in STM32CubeProgrammer, tried with the regression.bat batch file of an example application (https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/Security:How_to_start_with_DA_access_on_STM32H573_and_H563-TrustZone_disabled_-_stm32mcu) and nothing is working.I'm using a STLINKV2 and tred all possible combination of configurations of it, updated the STLINK firmware with the STM32CubeProgrammer. The closest I got to performing the regression is in these screenshots and att

Hello, I am building a time critical application with SPI output communication using DMA circular bufferI need to output data at a very precise frequency that is a multiple of 0.125 ns. Normally it should be 4us but It would need to be sometime 3.9us or 3.8. For the moment I use SPI1 as Master with 64 MHz and a prescaler of 256 to get 4us data pulse.Quick question: Can I use a timer to clock the SPI ? in that case does it mean that I have to change it to slave mode ? Can I init transfer in slave mode and trigger DMA transmit buffer still in circular mode ? That way I can define the period if the timer and adjust the output frequency of the SPI clock Is there any exemple of this (if it make sens)ThanksVincent

Hello Guys, I'm working in stm32h743 series in ethernet and i use latest version stm32 cube mx and toolchain is stm32 cube ide latest version , many times i tried but now i'm tired . Can anyone please help me with this communication protocol? If anyone has worked with the controllers I mentioned above, could you please share your code? Thank you!

I would like to implement a bootloader on STM32 MCU.We also plan to add a download function through CAN communication on the bootloader. How do I get CAN bootloader sample code?

I use alternatives CAN pins PA11&PA12, based on spec standard CAN pins to use CAN bootloader are PB8-9. Is it possible to use PA11-12 to enter CAN bootloader or NOT? so far it does not work.

Just like, we can monitor current, speed waveforms in Motor Pilot of P-NUCLEO-IHM03, can we somehow see Torque waveform in it as well? Or by any other means to monitor torque performance?

Hello everyone,I read PWM input value by Timer 16 bits in Nucleo-F767ZI (combined channel mode), but the value that I received is not the same after some days. For example, Day 1: PWM input value = 4200 but Day 4: PWM input value = 4000, no code changed, I keep the same code. When I change from Timer 16 bits to Timer 32 bits, PWM input value that I read is very stable. So I don't think the PWM input wrong, I think the problem is from Timer 16 bits.Only difference is Timer 16 bits with Prescaler = 10 (to avoid timer overflow), Timer 32 bits with Prescaler = 0.I face to the same problem with ADC, if I change the ADC channel, then ADC value change as well (keep the same resolution). My question: Could anyone help me read PWM input more stable by Timer 16 bits?

Hello,I wanted to use the TouchGFX as a standalone simulator application which simulates a hardware.  Following requirements should be fullfilled,1. TouchGFX should be able to compile an existing FreeRTOS application on PC only and run a frontend GUI which will send values from the user interface to FreeRTOS tasks.2. Consider 2 TouchGFX applications.TouchGFX simulator application 1 should be able to communicate with TouchGFX simulator 2 application using some socket or virtual port concept. As TouchGFX uses MINGW as compiler any FreeRTOS for windows or sockets should compile and run sucessfully.  Please confirm if above 2 points are possible using TouchGFXThanks Anuj

Good morning,I am trying to follow the RTC_LSI calibration example project for the P-NUCLEO-WB55.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/blob/master/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Examples/RTC/RTC_LSI/Src/main.cThe GetLSIFrequency function has a lineHAL_TIMEx_RemapConfig(&htim16, TIM_TIM16_TI1_LSI);However, TIM_TIM16_TI1_LSI is not defined in any of the source header files therefore it does not compileAny help much appreciated

I can't run the exe file on my pc, due to internal policies.Could someone upload the whole directory structure and files in github?

Hi Team, I need to build USB PD program on ST32L562, The voltage they are expecting is up to 45V. How to do this?RegardsNithin

We are using STM32H743BIT6 microcontroller in our project. Which is the development board that we need to buy and use for this microcontroller for prototyping and development purpose? Can we use STM32H753I-EVAL2?

Hello.I am developing a development board (to sell to customers eventually), for which I want to have my own flashing dongle. Now, I have posted in another thread asking about the software that is in the ST-Link devices, and the response I got is that it's not available for the public. But so the SWD protocol is an open standard if I understand things correctly, developed by ARM. Is the "protocol" for flashing the STM32 chips open so that I can implement my own SWD flasher, given the SWD protocol, my binary file and the specifications on how STM32 chips are flashed with SWD?Regards,Daniel

Hello, I have a question about the internal antenna of the STM32WB55CGU6.First of all, does it have the internal antenna? And if so, what is the range of it? Thanks

Hey,I working on a project with the following goal: setup one central coordinator and let multiple sleepy end devices send sensor data periodically. For development I am trying to alter the code of the Zigbee_TempMeas_Client_Router/Zigbee_TempMeas_Server_Coord example projects, such that sending long strings is possible. The setup is the following:custom cluster with one reportable long string attributestatic const struct ZbZclAttrT ZclTemp_AttrList[] = {{MY_ZCL_DEV_LS, ZCL_DATATYPE_STRING_LONG_CHARACTER,ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_REPORTABLE|ZCL_ATTR_FLAG_WRITABLE,512, // custom sizeNULL, // callback{0, 0}, //no value range{1, 10}}};sleepy end devices run the servercoordinator runs the client and sends APP_ZIGBEE_Read_Temp_Attribute() request to the sleepy end devicesThe custom attribute is changed between each call of APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb(). APP_ZIGBEE_Temp_Meas_Read_cb() is unchanged with exeption of the attribute and readReq.dst.nwkAddr = 0xFFFF;I configure the reporting similarily to the

Hello everyone,I am trying to control the GPO interrupt of ST25DV16 using X-CUBE-NFC04. I know that I should change the GPO register. As I want to use GPO_RFWRITE and GPO_ENABLE so the register value should be 0xC0. But when I want to use function CUSTOM_NFCTAG_WriteRegister, it doesn't work. I guess another function, CUSTOM_NFCTAG_ConfigIT, can also control the GPO interruption, but it doesn't work as well(these functions never return NFCTAG_OK). I am sure that I can read UID successfully and I can receive GPO interrupt(at default setting) successfully. The following are some of my codes: if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_Init("ST25DV16")!=HAL_OK) {Error_Handler();}else{CUSTOM_GPO_Init();if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_WriteRegister("ST25DV16", 0xC0, 0x0000, 1) == NFCTAG_OK){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,"writereg Success", strlen("writereg Success"), 0xFFFF); }if(CUSTOM_NFCTAG_ConfigIT("ST25DV16", ST25DV_GPO_ENABLE_MASK | ST25DV_GPO_RFWRITE_MASK)==NFCTAG_OK){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,"IT Suc

Hello,I usually make a code based on the timer callback function to handle multiple tasks. However, I don't know why functions like printf in the systick callback function don't work at all if the flag switching is in the same function. It works If I put the same code in the main loop, but not in the callback function. These kinds of problems sometimes happen with other functions, not only with printf.I kindly wonder which point makes these results from the controller. For example (flag is a global variable with 0 initial value), void HAL_SYSTICK_Callback(void){if(flag == 0){printf("Check\r\n");}}==> This gives tons of UART messages through printf func. void HAL_SYSTICK_Callback(void){if(flag == 0){flag = 1;printf("Check\r\n");}} ==> This never give any UART messages. If it is done in the main function, int main(void){... init functions ...while(1){if(flag == 0){flag = 1;printf("Check\r\n");}}==> This correctly gives UART message only once.&nbs

so, i have been using nano edge ai since a long time. but now i cannot log the signals when i am trying to. will they be any reason for that. please, solve this.

I want to test the SPC5-FLASHER program. When installing the program, you must register the serial number. How can I get a serial number assigned?Should I send the saved information by e-mail after recording the serial number request information during the installation process? Please tell me in detail how to register the serial number.

Hi Team,Am designing a BLE module using STM32WB55CEU6 for an IoT audio streaming project. Can somebody please help me in verifying the RF portion of schematics and layout. We are using an IPEX connector on board for BLE antenna and the signal is connected as below from MCU to antenna connector. Is it fine? Also, I have referred layout design for dev board using the STM32WBB55 MCU and I found that for RF section there is no reference given in immediate layer ie: layer 2 for signal routed in layer 1. Whereas GND plane if given under RF section in layer 3 & 4. Even we are using a 4-Layer stack up so is it mandatory to follow same.?Best Regards,Vyshnav Krishnan

The P-NUCLEO-IHM03 with type selected as "FOC" has the firmware pre-installed. After pushing Blue start/stop button, the motor starts but fails to continue. In Motor pilot, it is showing that a fault is thrown (startup failure) and the motor shuts down. The P-NUCLEO-IHM03 Black button needs to be pressed to clear the fault, but the motor still does not continue to run upon Blue button start. How to read/write PWM Register in P-NUCLEO-IHM03 - Kit ? It is associated with TIM1 having 4 channels. My motor is running for few seconds and then stop (which by default according to the documentation should be running continuously), that's why I am trying to figure out if PWM Registers are storing current values. In debug mode, SFRs section, I found TIM1, but it has several components, which one corresponds to storing current value? Please suggest. Thanks in Advance!
