Hello,Due to more required space, our product shall be upgraded from STM32F101RD CPU to STM32F101RG. That is an upgrade in flash memory from 384KByte to 1MByte and in RAM memory from 48 kKByte to 80 KByte. For the STM32F101RD controller, we used the define STM32F10X_HD as preprocessor define in the Keil IDE. For the STM32F101RG is it correct to use STM32F10X_XL?Is it additionally necessary to define the flash memory of the STM32F101RG? Although the larger CPU is chosen in the device options, within Keil the error "no space in execution regions" is thrown. Thanks in advance! Best Regards,Regina Kaune

Hello,As mentioned in the title, the custom board system VDD is 1.85 volt, I wonder if there are anyways that I can setup the PVD to work with such voltage. I follow the example and I only get the interrupt at startup but then cutting power off, obviously I see no other interrupt.  HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(PVD_PVM_IRQn, 0, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(PVD_PVM_IRQn); PWR_PVDTypeDef ConfigPVD; ConfigPVD.Mode = PWR_PVD_MODE_IT_RISING_FALLING; ConfigPVD.PVDLevel = PWR_PVDLEVEL_0; HAL_PWR_ConfigPVD(&ConfigPVD); HAL_PWR_EnablePVD();

hi community,           i had been working for a while on AEK-AUD-C1D9031 with CAN protocol and everything is working fine. but when i was working with open load of the speaker. in MUTE mode CAN message is working fine but in the PLAY mode the CAN message is not UPDATED, even the structure is also not UPDATED.         can any know the reason behind it.regardsshiva

Hi @STTwo-32  @TDK @KDJEM.1 @Issamos @Remy ISSALYS ,I have started using Nucleo-WBA55CG for BLE Audio and realized STM32Cube_FW_WBA_V1.3.0 does not contain any audio code for the board. But STM32WBA55CG- DK1 has the ble audio snippet code. Can I use the nucleo board to implement the audio examples since the microcontroller is same? Thank You in advance.

Hi,1. In the STM32G0x1 reference manual I can read about the FDCAN peripheral. But there is no STM32G0 MCU with FDCAN anyway. Why is FDCAN in this reference manual anyway?2. How can I know whether a MCU has DFU (USB bootloader)? There's no column for that in the product selector and  - obviously - I can't know it for sure from the datasheet or reference manual (see 1)?3. Is the product selector the only way to know which peripherals are in which MCU's? Or are there any other ways to get to know this?I'm struggling with finding out which peripherals are in which MCU's and I ordered some wrong MCU's allready too.Greetz & thanks,Jan

Hi ST Team,I have completed my first custom board using the STM32H753BIT6, using the H753-EVAL board as a reference. I need to test its external SRAM, SDRAM, Flash, and QSPI, as I have included all the memory components present on the EVAL board. I have chosen the 10.1 " Ronbo 1280x800 (MRG10112) RGB display for my project. but I've to do use another board for lvds or rgb.because I've no pin left in my 208 lqfp h753..so, can any one suggest which external memory is enough for handle 1280*800.@ 16bit.. or is using another MCU for other added sensors is possible to get result.Could you please advise on how to make TouchGFX compatible with this display? Is it possible to create a full GUI in the simulator and later adapt it to the actual display? Any guidance on the best approach to efficiently complete this project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Best regards,jr_engr_mbed

Hi, community,I am converting a TI CCS project into STM32 project. In the TI CCS project, a const array is defined in the file array.c, e.g.const uint16_t ARRAY[] = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5};and in the main.c, the array is recast asextern uint16_t ARRAY[];and the user can update the array elements without any error, e.g.ARRAY[1] = 3;When I put the files into STM32CubeIDE, the compiler didn't complain about the recast and assignment, but ARRAY[1] = 3;didn't execute correctly. When I trace the variable value in debug mode, the ARRAY[1] = 1.Thanks for reading my post and I look forward to your suggestions and solutions to my question.

I've started using the recently published UM3291 to have smoother workflows with my other acquisition tools There are a few glitches that makes life a little bit more annoying than it should be.- The first one beeing the prompt "stlp >", which has to be filtered out. A disable prompt would save some code.Especially when using command during ascii streaming where it prefixes a measurement when sending a command like targrst.- The new line configuration works better when setting CR or LF rather than CR+LF. Otherwise, there is one blank line after each line with content.- The table 28 gives ascii data format. The example does not match that format.According to the table, the lenght is always 8 characters. The example is 7 character long. The byte 6 is missing (-7, instead of -07).- There should be a response pattern : [ack|error] [command] : [response]. Some commands do not match such a pattern, like whoami, echo, pwrend. Status command do match, but it does not appear clearly.- T

Hi, I want to connect an external RAM through the FMC interface to my STM32H753ZI controller. I am making a board that is adapted to ZIO connectors in the KICAD software and the problem is that PIN PF12 can only be connected from ST morpho connector or can be soldered from (SB37) the problem is that it can only be changed to PIN PF4 which is also part of the FMC interface. In the pin diagram on the Mbed.com website I actually see that there is a pin called PF12 and it is in the ZIO connectors. Is it possible to connect only through the ZIO connectors?

I am using the Nucleo-STM32H723ZG board and I'm trying to set up a maximally reactive UDP/TCP communication channel between the board and an external node.Just to use a common ground, lets take as an example project the LwIP_UDP_EchoServer. If I send a message to the board and monitor the time it takes to receive the reply, it's over 1 millisecond. I tried to isolate the slow part and couldn't find it: I inserted a pin toggle inside the udp_echoserver_receive_callback, at the start and at the end; the time it takes to execute this function is around 11 microseconds. Nevertheless, the delay between the request and the echo reply, in wireshark, is more than 1 millisecond. I followed the function calls down to the HAL_ETH_Transmit and couldn't understand what may cause this long delay. It is a blocking function and my understanding is that HAL_ETH_Transmit returns when the DMA has finished transmitting the data. Could you please provide any hint about what may cause th

Hi, I am using L978s sensor with SPI communication. Frame count bit should be toggling in every frames while receiving. I transfer first frame 0x5280001F to read STATUS5 register. I get response as 0x40800021. I send second frame by toggling frame count and updating CRC. But I get same response 0x40800021. The response from the chip always have frame count 1. It is supposed to toggle. Not seeing any communication error being set in the response. Can you please support to find the cause of this error? Thanks in advance.

Hello all,I am trying to implement an external loader for my board. Which uses a W25M02GV (QSPI NAND FLASH)I am following the https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-external-loaderI am trying to configure an STM32L4 to use this memory in mapped-mode, but I didn't understand how memory-mapped works for the underground. At least I didn't found any doc that explains it.As I am understanding from its datasheet, this memory doesn't have any read command with the page address that outputs the content. It seems necessary to use 2 commands: The first one (13h) receives the page address and then gets the page content in an internal buffer. Then afterward, a second command reads it from this buffer (there are a continuous mode, which at the end of the buffer continue from the next page and so on)But, it seems that when configuring the memory-mapped mode it needs a single read command with a page address to work? Thanks =)

hi,I use SAI interface for reading data  by M4 core in stm32mp157Only  in debug M4 mode(M4 is running and A7 isn't running),the read can success. When A7 core is running, the read will be failed(A7 is running ,but SAI is used by M4). when a7 is running.Using HAL_SAI_Receive , time out will bu return .Using HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA ,busy will be return .in device tree ,sai is disable

Hello,  I recently purchased the STM32MPU135F-DK and is having an issue with connecting to the discovery kit using the STM32CubeProgrammer Version 2.16.0.  It looks like when i try to connect the STM32MPU135F-DK, I get this "Cannot Access Port 0!!!" (Please see picture attached). I have never seen this issue before with any of my STM32 discovery kits. Can you please tell me how to fix this issue?

Hello everyone.First, sorry for my english. I'm still learning, and i'm trying to write this text without using google translator.I found one problem in the Cube MX (already solved), in the generation code in a specific case, and I don't know where is the correct place to post it, I think that is here, but if not, please tell me where it is.I always generate code in the Project Manager to use MKD-ARM V5.32 using "Copy Only the necessary library folder" option in the "Project Manager/Code Generator" tab, but this creates a lot of unecessary duplicated files.Today I try the option "Add necessary library files as reference in the toolchain project configuration file", and the code does not compile, for "No such file or directory" error. My user in this computer is "Cristhian Guedes", with a space between the words, and the CubeMX is generating links to Include folders using "CristhianGuedes" directories. For exemple, the include path is generated:"C:/Users/CristhianGued

I have read most of the replies to posts that had the same problem that I am having with HAL_Delay() not working.  None of the solutions that I tried worked. It is apparent that the interrupt handler is never getting executed so any attempt to use HAL_Delay() just locks up the firmware.  In an earlier version of this firmware, I did not have any problems, but now I have not been able to restore operation.Help!  (thanks in advance)

Hello everyone,I got a yocto build from scratch using yocto/open-embedded/meta-st-stm32mp. Everything is smooth. I can root the kernel while standing. I can establish an ssh connection. Everything is perfect. But I want to create an SDK after the kernel compilation I received. In the next step, I will integrate the SDK I created into cubeide and start developing code. But when I say "bitbake -c populate_sdk core-image-minimal" I get the following error. I've been struggling with this error all day and couldn't solve it. Does anyone have an idea? Sincelery

See for example this helpful post by @Andrew Neilhttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32-ic-s-unique-id/m-p/657372/highlight/true#M239912 Andrew is a stand-up guy. He wouldn't be this sloppy when posting, but it's not his fault.Whenever someone inserts a "Code" block, in order to get syntax highlighting. Any subsequent edit of the post adds an extra blank line above and below the block. It doesn't matter if you erase them when you edit. They can only grow, like the mythical hydra. The only solution is to remove the code nlock entirely, delete all the blank lines and save the post. Then edit it again, and re-insert the code-block. Then, you must never-ever-ever edit that post again, or you'll have to go through it all over. Come on ST. 2024. AI. 32TOPS in every phone within 5 years. Can we fix the editor please???

The STM32G4 I'm using supports up to 8 hardware USB endpoints. I'd like to it to enumerate as a composite device with 3 CDC-ACM channels (doing so would greatly simplify the host software). Since each CDC-ACM class device requires 3 endpoints one each for data in/out, and one interrupt EP for control.,I'm one endpoint short of success. However, the control endpoint is only used to signal the desired baud-rate to the MCU, which I can either ignore or set for all three channels uniformly. That is, I don't this endpoint for function, but the spec seems to require it. The question is whether the USB spec actively would allow me to "bend the rules" in this way, by specifying a single end as shared by multiple interfaces. I suspect the device will fail to enumerate, since the OS will reject the descriptors as invalid. Would appreciate anyone who has information to offer about this kind of hack.

I'm working on porting the RFAL for ST25R3916B to an nRF5340, using the pairing example for X-NUCLEO-8. I have it all compiling and flashing correctly, but things break down during initialization here:In rfalInitialize() -> st25r3916Initialize(), the issue occurs when trying to measure voltage with st25r3916MeasureVoltage(). After executing st25r3916ExecuteCommandAndGetResult, I get the below SPI trace. The IRQ line goes high as expected, the RFAL then sends a read request for registers 0x1A through 0x1D, and the ST25R3916B does not respond with any active IRQs and does not clear the IRQ line. This results in a memory access violation on the nRF5340. This is the standard, unmodified RFAL for ST25R3916/B. The DCT interrupt is enabled. The SPI trace looks exactly the same as a previous IRQ read. Is there something different about the Measure Power Supply (0xDF) command? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello therei have maserati levante modena 2022 SUV and it’s totally flooded.BCM also totally damaged.BCM mcu is ST spc5605bmlu6.I couldn’t find any application to read and re-write this mcu.does anyone know what is the best tool to do this operation?thanks

Dear all, currently, I'm making to control a BLDC motor from throttle using ADC1 channel 0. The MCU part number is STM32G0B1RBT6. I can read the ADC value successfully in SDK 5.4.8. The way how I do is I defined the ADC1-IN0 in Cube Mx and then I added extra code in main.c then I can read the ADC value. Now, I want to switch the SDK to 6.2.1. but in SDK6.2.1 it's showing errors when I add extra codes in main.c. So, my question is how can i solve this issues in order to read the addition ADC in MCSDK 6.2.1.Below are the screenshots that I put the extra codes in main.c file.

Are there some tool like STM32CubeMonitor for SPC5 microcontrollers? With STM32CubeMonitor it is possible to load an elf or out file and watch variables values using gui components like gauge, bar, etc...

Hi ,While exploring flashloader macro using IAR IDE to update Option bytes , I programmed FLASH_OPTR register with Readout Protection level 1.Since then  I am not able to communicate to device using STLink and following is the errorIs there anyway I can establish communication with device using debugger to rewrite the readout protection level bit to level 0. Please share your thoughts. Regards,Hareesha
