Hello,I am using an STM32H5 series processor in my project and running Azure RTOS NetX on it. I have enabled the Keep Alive feature as shown in the image below. However, when I checked with Wireshark, I could not see the Keep Alive packets as expected.To assist with troubleshooting, I am sharing the debug values and an image showing that Keep Alive is enabled.Do you think the Keep Alive feature is working correctly? If not, what could be the reason?

After updating to STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.16.0 Build: 21983_20240628_1741 (UTC), I've noticed that HAL_ADC_Init is being called twice. This behavior is different from the previous version 1.15, where it was called only once. Although the code still functions correctly, it seems less streamlined than before. Could you please review the attached MX_ADCx_Init.c file for potential issues or necessary adjustments?

Dear ST Officials, Greetings! I have run into some issues whilst using STM32CubeMX, which I hope you could assist me with. I'm able to find the required Example using the Example Selector, but I am unable to open it. Notably, it displays NA under STM32CubeMX Minimum Compatible Version, which I suspect is the reason I cannot access the project. However, I am unclear about how to go about fixing this. I'm in urgent need to use this particular Example. I managed to open the Example on the IDE and even run it successfully, but I also need to open it in STM32CubeMX as I need to make certain amendments to the program. I intend to deploy a fully trained neural network using CubeAI in the program. Your guidance on this matter will be greatly appreciated. The development board I'm using is H747I-DISCO and the Example I need is DCMI_CaptureMode. I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely,

Hi I am luis.I'm testing TouchGFX and have a question.1. Create a custom board project with TouchGFX V4.22.1 Designer2. Move the STM32F769I_DISCO.ioc file in the project created above to the STM32CubeIDE folder in the project, then run STM32F769I_DISCO.ioc to additionally set IO and generate code.(below picture)3. And when I compile the above project with the STM32CubeIDE compiler, an error occurs. These errors are too numerous to be easily resolved. I would like to know what is the optimal way to set up additional IO after creating a project with TouchGFX V4.22.1 Designer.

The login function greatly affects efficiency！！！cubemx Version 6.11.1I just want to install the G0 pack. But I cann't login even using VPN.  My net works very well! So I can only download it from the official website and then install it locally.The STM32CubeG0 was installed successfully.Then I want to install Patch_CubeG0.What the ***？Are you joking？ Today my boss asked me why I haven't finished writing the code. I said that the firmware package installation failed, and ST said that I had a network problem. The boss said that my ability is very poor and I should not come to work in the future.Why is it so difficult for R&D engineers to be R&D engineers?

I've been trying to interface the STM32F407VET6 with the NRF24L01 modules, however after trying multiple boards modules and library's it still fails to work. im not sure the issue is with hardware as ive tried multiple modules and the black board has a slot designed for this type of module, moving the spi1 pins to SCK(PB3), MISO(PB4), MOSI(PB5) and CE(PB6) CS(PB7) IRQ(PB8), according to the schematics. Trying over the regular pins makes no difference either.  The two main library's i tried were found on github. i tried following the controllerstech tutorial for writing the library and tried the one on github but neither worked using. for the controllerstech lib i tried transmitting to a dummy address which kept returning 0..https://github.com/controllerstech/NRF24L01.git the baud rate for the spi is 2mbps and all configs were kept the same  int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_SPI1_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); /* U

I am using the FMAC for the first time and I am seeing strange behavior after preloading data to X1. I'm pushing 16 items to WDATA via a memory to memory DMA transfer. The buffer size is 16, so X1full should go high when it finishes. It doesn't. I placed a while delay after the X1 load command waiting for the X1full bit. When stalled on this line, I see the Yempty bit toggle on and off.  I also see the UNFL bit set in the SR register.I'm not making any reads to RDATA, nor am I initiating any computations to write to Y yet, so none of this should be happening. This is the first code to run after HAL init functions, so nothing else should be active to interfere.What could I be doing wrong?//FMAC ConfigFMAC->X1BUFCFG = 0x000010DF; //no threshold, 16 buffer length, 223 as base address.FMAC->X2BUFCFG = 0x00001000; //no threshold, 16 buffer length, 0 as base address.FMAC->YBUFCFG = 0x000001FF; //no threshold, 1 buffer length, 255 base address.FMAC->CR|=0x00010000;//rese

I recently wrote some code with the help of stack exchange regarding an MQ2 gas sensor. I needed to alter the code to use DMA as the MCU I'm using for the project only has one ADC channel. My goal was to measure the ADC value of the MQ2 sensor along with a battery voltage for when it drops below 2.5 volts to blink a red LED. I'm noticing that the UART is very slow when outputting numbers, and when I adjust my voltage source voltage it takes a few seconds to update. It only seems faster when the Battery voltage isn't below 2.5V. I'm not sure exactly what I need to fix with my code but it can be seen below: #include "main.h" #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <string.h> #define BATLED GPIO_PIN_3 ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_adc1; UART_HandleTypeDef huart2; uint16_t ADCValues[2]; uint16_t ADCCount = sizeof (ADCValues)/ sizeof (ADCValues[0]); uint16_t ADC_MQ2_AVG; uint16_t ADC_Voltage_AVG; float Voltage = 0

Hi,I'm developing a new application for the STM32U5A5 processor. The application runs correctly if I program (flash) and debug with the JTAG/SWD debugger. Even after disconnecting the debugger, the application still runs, and it is possible to re-program again (multiple times), and restarts if the RST pin is driven low.However, as soon as the eval board power is cycled, the application doesn't run at all. Reset Pin doesn't seem to reset the application, and it is necessary to run the debugger again (re-flashing not required) to get the application running again.Test Setup:Eval Board: NUCLEO-UA5AZJ-QDebugger: Embedded STLINKCompiler/Debugger: ARM Keil MDK-ARM v5.39TZEN Disabled (Global TrustZone security)SWAP_BANK = Unchecked (Bank1 and Bank2 address not swapped)nSWBOOT0 = Checked (Software BOOT0 taken from PH3/BOOT0 pin)nBOOT0 = Checked (nBOOT0 = 1)NSBOOTADD0 Value=0x100000 Address:0x08000000NSBOOTADD1 Value=0x17f200 Address:0x0bf90000 See attached file for debug configuration fil

Greetings.how to detect that the VL6180 sensor beam is totally blocked (the sensor directly touches an object)?When an object touches and blocks the VL6180 sensor, the sensor returns distances of 255 mm and typically the error message: ECE (Early convergence estimate) failure / Signal/Noise error / No convergence.The sensor returns exactly the same status when objects are too far away. How can I detect that an object is mistakenly lying and blocking the sensor so that it does not work as it should? Kind regardsJoergen

Hi Community, I have recently purchased Nucleo H7A3ZI board and while trying to connect through Stm Cube Programmer i have found that it is not detecting target itself. What is possible reason for this? 1. Port is getting detected in laptop2. Stlink connecetion is visible3. serial number is showing when connecting4. Target voltage is 3.29 V5. St link firmware update is also working (with red light blinking and successful with green light)6. USB cable i have changed multiple: same result7. Tried with holding reset but no use8. tried with different configurations given on stm cube programmer, still no luck. here are the screen shots of all these:

[Apologies in advance if this question has been asked a thousand times. I just didn't know how to search to get the answer that I'm looking for.] I defined a section in the linker script to store version information. However, I'm unable to figure out how to read this memory from the c/c++ code side.  In the linker script, I defined it in the 2nd section after the .isr_vector, ie: SECTIONS { /* The startup code goes first into FLASH */ .isr_vector : { . = ALIGN(4); KEEP(*(.isr_vector)) /* Startup code */ . = ALIGN(4); } >FLASH /* Version Data Into Flash */ .version : { . = ALIGN(4); KEEP(*(.version)) KEEP(*(.version*)) . = ALIGN(4); } >FLASH . . } In the main.c, I was able to set the version by: static const char version[] __attribute__((used)) __attribute__((section (".version"))) = "v0.1.0";   Elsewhere in the code, I want to get the version string. I tried the following but the debugger shows the memptr pointer is 0x0: const char* __attribute__(( section(".version")

Hello,I think I might have found a bug source in the CubeMX's generated code, when two components of a same driver share the same clock.Here I'll use the example of the ADC 1 and 2 of the STM32H743GTV6 but I have see this case a few times elsewhere.As the two ADC use the same clock, to avoid initiating it while the other is already using it, a check variable is used: static uint32_t HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLED=0; void HAL_ADC_MspInit(ADC_HandleTypeDef* adcHandle) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; if(adcHandle->Instance==ADC1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC1_MspInit 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC1_MspInit 0 */ /* ADC1 clock enable */ HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLED++; if(HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLED==1){ __HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLE(); } /* Some code */ } else if(adcHandle->Instance==ADC2) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC2_MspInit 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC2_MspInit 0 */ /* ADC2 clock enable */ HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLED++; if(HAL_RCC_ADC12_CLK_ENABLED==1){ __HAL_RCC_ADC12_C

I'm quite new in STM32CubeIDE.Working with the "live expression" tab during debugging I wonder if there is a possibility to format the output e.g. for a float value in the decimal value ?Here:  1.43924809 to 1.42

Hi. I've amended the linux driver for the VL53L5CX with better support for multi-sensor installations, with the I2C address set by the kernel module at initialization, address given by the device tree. ST feel free to add to the official driver, as the SATEL breakout boards are sold in pairs ;).martinpalsson/vl53l5cx-linux-driver: A fork of the official VL53L5CX linux driver from ST Microelectronics (github.com)

Hi,I am developing embedded software using IAR IDE version 9.20 on STM32U5.  I would like to modify option byte to enable SRAM ECC while programming the device using IAR IDE. Request to share the thoughts.Regards,Hareesha

Hello,I created a bootloader and the two applications according to the YouTube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkUQ3iMmiYQ&list=PLnMKNibPkDnEb1sphpdFJ3bR9dNy7S6mO&index=1). This works so far.The application is started by the bootloader using the go2APP() function. void go2APP(void) { uint32_t JumpAddress; pFunction Jump_To_Application; //check if there is something "installed" in the app FLASH region if (((*(uint32_t*) FLASH_APP2_ADDR) & 0x2FFE0000) == 0x20000000) { HAL_Delay(100); //jump to the application JumpAddress = *(uint32_t *) (FLASH_APP2_ADDR + 4); // Original Jump_To_Application = (pFunction) JumpAddress; //initialize application's stack pointer __set_MSP(*(uint32_t *) FLASH_APP2_ADDR); Jump_To_Application(); } else if (((*(uint32_t*) FLASH_APP1_ADDR) & 0x2FFE0000) == 0x20000000) { HAL_Delay(100); //jump to the application JumpAddress = *(uint32_t *) (FLASH_APP1_ADDR + 4); Jump_To_Application = (pFunction) JumpAddress; //ini

Hello,I am using the stm32h563 processor in my project. I made a TCP Server application using the ethernet connections of this processor and I was able to run it as I wanted. But I saw that it could not connect to another client over the same IP address without breaking the connection with one client. Even though I set the NX_MAX_PHYSICAL_INTERFACES defined value to two, there was no change. Also, in the files I shared, it is said that we can make a tcp server and 2 tcp client connections and open a separate socket for each (1). After some research, I realized that this problem can be solved with lwip + freertos. Below are examples of these solutions. How can I make a similar solution on Azure RTOS Netx side?Our problem with lwip + freertos solved community issue(2) was previously shared and the solution was "By tweaking the options in lwipopts.h, it should be possible to receive more incoming connections: MEMP_NUM_TCP_PCB, MEMP_NUM_TCP_PCB_LISTEN, MEMP_NUM_NUM_NETCONN, etc... I am working on using FreeRTOS for a project, and have implemented printf() debugging by redirecting it to a uart. This works great most of the time, and is very helpful for FreeRTOS debugging, as FreeRTOS_printf() and FreeRTOS_debug_printf() will leverage this functionality.Unfortunately, it seems to cause hard faults frequently, but not in every case. One call that consistently caused a hard fault was FreeRTOS_printf( ( "FreeRTOS_connect: %u to %xip:%u\n", [...]);Another one I had to manually remove wasFreeRTOS_debug_printf( ( "Socket %u -> [%s]:%u State %s->%s\n", [...]);I came across a previous post which seemed to have a similar issue, but it appeared to have been resolved. Is there more configuration that I need to implement to have this work in every case? Or is there something else I am missing? Some more details about my implementation:I am using CubeMX to generate my codeI am using OpenOCD and GCCMy printf implementation uses the following code#ifdef

Hi All,Today I received two NUCLEO-H503RB boards, but when trying to get the ADC calibration values the processor HardFaults. According to the datasheet it's the correct address: Also when trying to access it with the debugger it failsAlso the temperature sensor calibration seems defective.Something I'm doing wrong or are Nucleo's not calibrated or something?

i am using STM3210E Eval board which has STM32F103 uC i am trying to recorded some adc value over the period of long time but with the time. I am using RTC to achieve that so that even in case pf power loss the adc might not get measured but the time stays correct. As per my cell holder's size in the board i am using CR1220 button cell of 3V and have changed the jumper to give cell volatge to VBAT of uC but the values i am getting out of RTC is not correct. It does stays even if main supply is off but the value itself is not correct for example it's seconds goes upto 90 and then next min comes up but on measuring that 90 seconds is actually 60s only where few steps are missed to like after72 it's directly 80. I haven't checked for min,hr and more but even so the value is totally incorrect. i mean just look at below.i mean how can the year go to 36 and date to 41 and hours 33!!!. i mean why is it like this what changes do i need to make to get it rightPS: i had programmed it 2 days ago
