I have made my own STM32MP1 board with the STM32MP151AAC3 processor. Right now I'm faceing issues with the software STM32CubeProgrammer and I don't know why this happens.My goal is to flash the eMMC via the UBS OTG. I have SDIO2 as eMMC by the way.What we can see here is that:The STM32CubeProgrammer regonize the STM32MP1 processor and its nameThe USB OTG of the STM32MP1 processor is workingI'm using the OpenSTLinux for STM32MP157 processor because it's the only one that are avaiable as Starter Package . It's only a minor difference between STM32MP151, STM32MP153(CAN FD) and STM32MP157(CAN FD + DSI)The flashing fails on 0x1 fsbl-bootThe STM32CubeProgrammer can recognize the partisions when I connect via USB OTGSo the question is simple:Why does STM32CubeProgrammer get timeout? The full log can be found here: https://pastebin.com/q9GttMiR     00:57:35:752 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode 00:57:35:918 : Device Descriptor: 00:57

In this code, the value of the range variable in the purse does not change correctly. What is the reason?Board = NUCLEO-F413ZH/* External variables --------------------------------------------------------*/ extern UART_HandleTypeDef huart4; extern volatile uint8_t range; extern uint8_t first_buffer[5]; extern uint8_t main_buffer[8]; /* USER CODE BEGIN EV */ void UART4_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN UART4_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END UART4_IRQn 0 */ HAL_UART_IRQHandler(&huart4); /* USER CODE BEGIN UART4_IRQn 1 */ //__HAL_UART_ENABLE_IT(&huart4, UART_IT_RXNE); if(range == 0) { HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart4, first_buffer, 5); range = 1; } else if(range == 1){ HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart4, main_buffer, 8); range = 0; } /* USER CODE END UART4_IRQn 1 */ }

Hy all,I'm experiencing a problem with the internal browser of the CubeIDE.Starting from the beginning:I freshly installed Opensuse 15.6, to override a problem generated by an upgrade went wrong.After the OS was fine, I installed all the applications I usually need, and the CubeIDE (1.16.0) is one of them.Previously to the reinstall, I had the CubeIDE 1.13.2 that was working fine.The installation, just like before, was the "generic Linux" version of package, because the "rpm" package do not install in my PC.So after installed I opened the program and I found this window instead of the usual            In short the graphical window of the 'Information Center' was not filled with the usual graphical objects, but just a link.Actually the link works, and if clicked opens Firefox.So, for every link you will find in CubeIDE it will open Firefox, with a certain delay due to the time required to open it.As I said with the CubeIDE 1.13

 Hello,I am attempting to run a p2pServer_Ext sample application on my Nucleo WBA52CG board. Currently, I have a heart rate sensor application running on the same board. However, when I try to flash the new p2pServer_Ext application, I encounter an error. called Error in final launch sequenceI have two identical boards, one of which runs the p2pClient sample application. Interestingly, I can successfully flash the same p2pServer_Ext application on the other board using the same laptop and STM32Cube IDE software.What could be the possible reason for this issue, and what is the solution? My supervisor suggested that electrostatic discharge (ESD) during handling might be the cause, but the existing heart rate application works flawlessly. The problem seems to be specific to flashing new software.Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

We are using the STM32L071RB, currently have the firmware set to go to sleep (stop mode) and wake up after ~5 minutes with the RTC WUT (see section 22.4.6 and A13.3 in RM0377). This works great, however this timer isn't the only wakeup source. If the device wakes up due to a external interrupt, the timer restarts back to another 5 minutes. So, for these external interrupt events we need to know how long it's already been asleep to compensate and have the periodic wakeup keep the same interval. My first thought was that we could just read the "wakeup timer" register to see how long it's been asleep, but can't find any information on where that is located... (RTC_WUTR is simply the reload register, so it doesn't change)Does anyone know where the mcu is storing that counter/timer? Alternatively we could set up with an alarm or store the RTC value before going to sleep and compare, but we are low on space and don't want to rewrite deployed code unless necessary

Hi, I am using the LIS2DW12 on my board communicating over I2C with the nRF52840.  I have not yet been able to communicate with the accelerometer at all, and all attempts to read or write end the same way (see screenshot)I have the CS and SA0 lines both pulled up to VDD, and VDDIO is tied to VDD because they are the same voltage, 1.8V.  Could there be an issue with VDD and VDDIO being the same rail?

Hi,i am using both the VL53L5 and L7 in a quite limited space, where the sensor need to run in the 8x8 continuous mode. Therefore, the thermal design is quite challenging.  So, my question is: what temperature does the sensor specifically deliver with the parameter "silicon_temp_degc"? Can it be assumed to be its junction temperature? If not, can a delta between silicon temperature and junction temperature be estimated?

Is it possible to implement UCPD sink on a stm32G4 without RTOS. What all does that entail? What are the pros and cons?

Heyho,there's lots of info in the datasheets and the AN2867 about the specs of the HSE / LSE oscillators with passive crystals...But I'd like to have some "measurable" *** specs, so that I can compare a real life custom board, which means:voltage levels at the oscillator IN/OUT pins.*** Okay, the scope's probe's capacitance probably falsifies the actual signal, but so would be ST's...That would be some helpful info in the respective datasheet - and not some other app note.IMO it's not really good documentation if there are specs used in the AN which you cannot find in the datasheet, but only in a table in the AN.So, what can ST please tell me about "good, reliable voltage levels" / swing in Vpp at the HSE and LSE IO pins?

Hi,I'm running STM32C011F4U6TR using the LSI (32KHz) in a infinite loop.Here's the current consumption I see from the STM32CubeMonitor-Power softwareI expect to see around 80uA flat as datasheet shows at page 39What could be the reason for the 170uA peaks I see using STM32CubeMonitor?Gaston

Hello everyone,I'm working on an N classification project using the NanoEdge AI library on an STM32 microcontroller. My databases contain data on diabetes (diabetic or non-diabetic) with 8 different parameters.Objective: I want to integrate the deployed files (.a and .h) of NanoEdge AI into STM32CubeIDE and configure communication with a serial monitor (Serial Monitor). The idea is to capture inputs through the serial monitor, process them in STM32CubeIDE with the NanoEdge AI Studio classification model, and then display the classification results (diabetes or non-diabetes) on the serial monitor.Need Help For:Integration of NanoEdge AI deployed files into STM32CubeIDE.Configuring serial communication to receive user input.Processing input data and calling the NanoEdge AI classification model.Displaying classification results (diabetes or non-diabetes) on the serial monitor.Any assistance, advice, code samples or documentation would be greatly appreciated!Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi all,I'm porting a project from a F072 (Nulceo-F072) to a custom PCB with a STM32L072.The board is going well, except when I try to use the USB (CDC mode).When I plug it into my PC, the OS can see it -         Bus 006 Device 072: ID 0483:5740 STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Portbut I can't connect to it. I can put it into Boot mode - again the OS sees it -         Bus 006 Device 071: ID 0483:df11 STMicroelectronics STM Device in DFU ModeBut STM32CubeProgrammer can't see it...The hardware design is the same as the Necleo-F072, however, I have added a USBLC6-2SC6 for protection.I have placed various breakpoints around the USB CDC module to find out where it's going wrong, but I haven't found a trigger point yet.Has anyone got any leads?Kind regardsPedro

I have configured the activity/inactivity function, but I only get the interrupt raised on inactivity, not on activity. Is this function supposed to be able to alert me to both activity and inactivity? Or is it just inactivity that raises the interrupt?

Hi, I am using MKI239A and MKI109V3 with LSM6DSV (IMU). Knowing the full scale of accelerometer and gyroscope, I still need resolution information to calculate the exact readings. I did not find relevant resolution info on data sheet... Could you please provide some information? thanks for your help! @Federica Bossi

Hello I I'm using the -> GitHub - STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers, for presence and motion detect with a NUCLEO-F401RE directly connected with STEVAL-MKI231KA, i can read the sensor ID and setup the other paramethers, but my question is related to wakeup_thread, i to setup an external interrupt connected to INT1 from the board sensor to toogle this variable? without this i think that i will not start to read the sensor properly. the example is: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/master/sths34pf80_STdC/examples/sths34pf80_tmos_presence_detection.c   /* handle event in a "thread" alike code */            if (wakeup_thread) {              wakeup_thread = 0;              motion = 0;              presence = 0;

 I am using STM32WB55 with 32 MHz HSE and am trying to find out which input clock frequency I should use for TIM16. Unfortunately it is not clear in the diagram from the datasheet. Where can I get this information? Greetings,Andreas

I am trying to get the accuracy of the model by validating of desktop. But when I provide npz files for Validation inputs and outputs it gives me an error as shown in the screenshot. When I give only one1 npz file validates successfully but cannot give accuracy because of no output data.

Hello,I am developing on the STM32H7A3ZGT and I am trying to use both OCTOSPI instances that are on the microcontrollerI am able to use both of them separately (only initialising one instance) but when I do both the initialization only the last initialised instance is working fine.I get no errors codes from any function on the first octospi instance that is initialised, but the data that I receive are all "0".If I switch the init order it switches the instance that is working.I am working on cube MX V6.6.1 but I tried generating a new project on the latest version and I get the same resultTank you for your help,Best regardsAugustin

Hello All,I needed a very fast vector addition routine for the H7 so I wrote it in assembly. However, I discovered that very small changes in the code caused huge differences in execution time. Both of the following functions add a 16-bit vector to a 32-bit sum vector. The vectors are 32-bit word aligned. The sum vector is in DTCM and the other is in external SRAM. The first routine adds sequential data to the sum and the second adds every fourth point of a 4x larger vector to the same size sum. So both process the same amount of data, but the first is 3 times faster. Does anyone know what would cause such a large difference in execution time for these nearly identical functions?ThanksDan 3X faster one loop:LDRH r3, [r0, r2, lsl #1] // load 16bit raw data in r3LDR r4, [r1, r2, lsl #2] // load 32bit sum in r4ADD r4,r3 // add raw data to sumSTR r4, [r1, r2, lsl #2] // store new sumSUBS r2,#1 // next data pointBPL loop Slower one loop:LDRH r3, [r0, r2, lsl #1] // load

Hello,I want to enter the decimal part of a number in to filed "Float" (Advanced Features -> FSM -> Converter).The Decimal Separator in the Regional Settings of the system I use (KDE/plasma) is a comma.It seems that the "Float" field only accepts a decimal point as decimal separator, but I cannot enter the decimal point character in this field: after pressing "." key nothing appears in this field.I can enter the "," character as decimal separator, but after conversion I get the wrong result in the field "Float16".Am I missing a some option in MEMS-studio settings to solve this problem?Additional info: if the "Float" field already contains a decimal point, I can enter "." character, but if the field was initially empty, then I can't enter "." character.P.S. I remember I had the same problem on Windows and in the previous version of MEMS-studio. MEMS-studio v1.3.0My system: Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.0 Qt Version: 6

Hi, Does STM32WBA55 MCU support Bluetooth classic BR/EDR along with BLE Audio? @STTwo-32 @TDK  @KDJEM.1 @IssamosThank you!

Hello, I am using STM32H745 to setup and communicate with LIS2DW12 accelerometer via SPI 4-wires. I am trying to setup the accelerometer and I started with reading the WHO_AM_I register. It's default value is (43h) and I changed the value of the first bit to '1' so that my STM32 can read the value. The SPI communication is setup as follows: With the read and write fucntions set like this:     HAL_StatusTypeDef spi_write_LIS2DS12(uint8_t regAddr, uint8_t *pData) { HAL_StatusTypeDef ret; uint8_t address = regAddr & 0x7F; uint8_t sendData[2] = {address, *pData}; //HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, 0); ret = HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2, sendData, 2, 20); //HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, 1); return ret; } HAL_StatusTypeDef spi_read_LIS2DS12(uint8_t regAddr, uint8_t *pData) { HAL_StatusTypeDef ret = 0x01; uint8_t address = regAddr | 0x80; // Set the Read/Write bit to 1 for read operation uint8_t sendData[2]= {address,0}; ui

Hi I recently purchased DK board and connected to the phone to check the dumped code.But, I couldn't listen to any music nor call. I realised only few selected mobiles with BLE Audio can be used to test the board.Any solution to this? @STTwo-32 @KDJEM.1 Thanks in advance!

Hello,I've added the OEM2KEY AND OEM1KEY to the RDP Level 2 protection in order to perform the same steps as in the 'Getting started with STM32CubeU5 TFM application' for enabling Production Mode.Following the steps and executing the HARDENING.SH file, I'm no longer able to modify the board or revert to RDP level 0. It's showing me the following error: Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_TARGET_NOT_HALTED)If I enter Hotplug mode, it shows me the following: Error: Uploading Option Bytes bank: 0 failed Error: Initializing the Option Bytes failed. Any help?
