Hi Guys,I have a problem with erasing Flash sector. I am using STM32F746ZG Nucleo Board. When  I run this code, mcu works perfect it works but I can't install new firmware to mcu. I've also tried example code, same problem. I take (DEV_TARGET_NOT_HALTED) when I run the program.I am getting the same error in debug mode as described in the link below.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/how-to-solve-error-finishing-flash-operation-in-stm32cubeide/td-p/53113/page/2Code Here they are FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef FLASH_Erase_Init; uint32_t SectorError; HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); FLASH_Erase_Init.TypeErase = FLASH_TYPEERASE_SECTORS; FLASH_Erase_Init.VoltageRange = FLASH_VOLTAGE_RANGE_3; FLASH_Erase_Init.Sector. FLASH_SECTOR_3; FLASH_Erase_Init.NbSectors = 1; if(HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&FLASH_Erase_Init, &SectorError) == HAL_OK) HAL_Flash_Lock();  How can i solve it ?

For the life of me I cannot get the I2C pins on my microcontroller to output anything.I am using I2C1 on pins PB6 (SCL) and PB9 (SDA) on the STM32F746VGT microcontroller. The pins are hooked up to a TXS0108E level shifter that has built-in pull up resistors. I have a very simple CubeMX project that initializes I2C1 to Standard Mode and attempts to transmit some data on it every second. All I want to see are some signals on the SDA/SCL lines but I get nothing. I can change the I2C pins to open drain GPIO pins and toggle those and see it on the scope, but when I switch back to I2C I see nothing again.I see the lines stuck either low or high depending on which one I'm probing at the moment. If I reset the MCU then probe the lines, they're both stuck high. They're also stuck high if I reset the MCU while probing SDA. But if I reset the MCU while probing SCL, then both lines get stuck low. So it seems like my oscilloscope has an effect on the transmission. Not sure if that's relate

Hello Everybody,MCU: STM32H750XB (STM32H750DK Discovery Kit)FDCAN Clock : 40MHzI'm experiencing an issue with my FDCAN bus configuration where the node enters Error state and issue persists with any data rate higher than the nominal rate of 500 kbps. But it works under Nominal Bit Rate: 500 kbps Data Bit Rate: 500 kbps.QuestionsIs there a known limitation with running data bit rates higher than nominal bit rates on the STM32H750?Are there specific timing parameters I should adjust for higher data bit rates considering the FDCAN clock as 40 MHz?Below,I have attached the main.c and IOC files for your reference.Regards,Dev

Hi folks,   I need to use setup system where is 10BASE-T1S communication. And we have stm32H7 controller, so questions is which one would better use LAN8651 (MAC+PHY) chip and do controlling of chip via SPI or chose LAN8670 (PHY) and do chip controlling via RMII. If I have understand right there is no ready drivers for stm32 MCU so probably have to write own drivers from scratch. Do you know Is there some good codebase which can modify to fit to STM32 ?

Hi there TouchGFX team! I need to do a fade out animation when changing from my welcome screen to my home screen, but I can only see 4 options on TouchGFX designer. I suppose I need to change the alpha value, but there's several widgets on each screen, so I'm not sure updating each one of those alpha values is the best approach. How can I implement it? Thanks a lot in advance

Hi,I have started working with the B-G474E-DPOW1 (STM32G474RE). The intention is to use the G474 in a custom design.I can connect and use the board fine with the on-board debugger, but I want to use the TAG-Connector 10-pin header (CN10, as this is the plan for the target board later), but the connection is not recognised in the STM32CubeProgrammer. Hello, I am working on a diy simracing project which use the STM32F401CCU6 board. I just bought this board and It worked fine until today for a reason I ignore. The board is stuck on the red led, the blue led doesn't light up anymore. I can still find the board in the device manager ( picture under ) but not it is not detected as it shall be in game controller configuartor ( picture under ). I can still erase the sketch on STM32 Cubeprogrammer and upload it but when I disconnect it it stays with the red led.Have anyone any idea on what to do ?Thanks you for your answers, and sorry for my english which isn't very good !

I'm trying to use the RAMECC monitoring subsystem on an STM32H743 but there's some behaviour I don't understand. I've read the reference manual (RM0433 rev 7) and application note AN5432, as well as some related forum posts here.If I set an interrupt enable bit in one of the RAMECC_MxCR registers then I get interrupts even if none of the interrupts are enabled in RAMECC_IER.So it seems like the interrupt enables in RAMECC_MxCR are independent of the per-monitor interrupt enables in RAMECC_IER.Is this the intended behaviour? It's unclear to me from the reference manual and AN5432.

Hello,I am new in TouchGFX and I like it. But now I have a problem:I am trying to make a ScrollList with a variable number of items. To do that, I made in TouchGFX a ScrolList with number of items: 1  and a height of 50 which is the height of 1 item. The generated code is  scrollList1.setPosition(40, 200, 400, 50); scrollList1.setHorizontal(false); scrollList1.setCircular(false); scrollList1.setEasingEquation(touchgfx::EasingEquations::backEaseOut); scrollList1.setSwipeAcceleration(10); scrollList1.setDragAcceleration(10); scrollList1.setNumberOfItems(1); scrollList1.setPadding(0, 0); scrollList1.setSnapping(false); scrollList1.setOvershootPercentage(75); scrollList1.setDrawableSize(50, 0); scrollList1.setDrawables(scrollList1ListItems, updateItemCallback); add(scrollList1); In the  setUpScreen(), I change the following void Screen4View::setupScreen() { uint16_t elements; uint16_t height; uint16_t windowsize; elements = presenter->NofThick()

Hi,I am working on STM32MP133FAFx (I2C Master) for I2C communication with STPMIC1 IC (I2C slave) fast mode(400KHz) and HSI clock(64MHz). Setting 7-bit addressing, enable clock Stretching, clear general call & enable filters6. Enable I2C and shift slave address by 1 as its 7 bit (SlaveAddress << 1)7. Setting I2C in I2C_AUTOEND_MODE mode8. After calling I2C_TransferConfig() function I am getting NACK bit is getting set as in attached picture Please help me how to resolve this issue and provide me the solution.

Hey there,I am using the CubeProgrammer API (2.17.0) to flash a STM32U545 MCU over USB DFU with a new firmware. When doing so a write error occurs (downlaodFile(...) returns CUBEPROGRAMMER_ERROR_WRITE_MEM (-10)) when flashing a new hex file (when using the same hex file as already on the MCU no error occurs).Flashing the hex file using the CubeProgrammer application (via J-LINK) works fine. Also a full chip erase, so no write protection active. My code: CubeProgrammer::dfuDeviceInfo* dfu_list = nullptr; int count = CubeProgrammer::getDfuDeviceList(&dfu_list, 0xdf11, 0x0483); CubeProgrammer::connectDfuBootloader(dfu_list[0].usbIndex); int FirmwareStartAddress = 0x08000000; unsigned int verify = 1; // verify download unsigned int skip_erase = 0; // do not skip erase CubeProgrammer::cubeProgrammerError result = static_cast<CubeProgrammer::cubeProgrammerError>( CubeProgrammer::downloadFile(file_path, FirmwareStartAddress, skip_erase, verify, L"")); When skipping the ve

Hi everyone,I'm using an STM32G431KBT6 MCU (STM32G4 Series) and I'm trying to generate a sine wave of 1 kHz using   DAC and  DMA . I've initialized the DMA as a half word, but it's not creating a sine wave. When I switch to word, it works perfectly. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?My SYSCLK is at 16MHz. I have put Prescalar as 0 and ARR to 124 for generation of 1 KHz sine wave. I've attached my code snippet below for reference.   #include "main.h" #define SINE_TABLE_SIZE 128 DAC_HandleTypeDef hdac1; DMA_HandleTypeDef hdma_dac1_ch1; TIM_HandleTypeDef htim2; const uint16_t sineLookupTable[SINE_TABLE_SIZE] = { 2048, 2148, 2248, 2348, 2447, 2545, 2642, 2737, 2831, 2923, 3013, 3100, 3185, 3267, 3346, 3423, 3495, 3565, 3630, 3692, 3750, 3804, 3853, 3898, 3939, 3975, 4007, 4034, 4056, 4073, 4085, 4093, 4095, 4093, 4085, 4073, 4056, 4034, 4007, 3975, 3939, 3898, 3853, 3804, 3750, 3692, 3630, 3565, 3495, 3423, 3346, 3267, 3185, 3100, 301

I'm trying to write a block ( 4 bytes) of normal memory from RF (via an Android) using command 0x21.I can do this with Vcc OFF, no problems.I also need to write to the Mailbox (command 0xAA), but to do this I have to have Vcc ON (obviously the I2C can't read that message without Vcc). The Write Block (0x21) returns 2 bytes, 0x01 0x0F, which is "unknown error".What do I need to do/set to allow the RF Write Block to work with Vcc ON?Many thanks in advance, gurus!

Hello,I have a evaluation board STM32L552E-EVAL, and I would like to know what is this part used for ?I see 2 pins (USB_D_N and USB_D_P) that connect to the STM32F103CBT6What is it for ? To program the component and debug. Thank you for your answerRegardsYann DO

Hi,I am currently working on a Battery Management System (BMS) and an instrument cluster. I need your assistance with some issues I’m encountering while communicating between the BMS and a custom cluster board using CAN.We have two custom cluster boards equipped with STM32F098RCT6 MCUs and TJA1042 transceivers. I successfully established communication between the two boards and received the RxData in the debug terminal. When I attempt to establish communication between the cluster board and the BMS, no data is received in the debug terminal. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to achieve successful communication. Please provide some insight about this. Here is the code:   /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------

Hello, I'm currently trying to use "STSW-IMG035 Turnkey gesture recognition solution based on VL53L5CX, VL53L7CX and VL53L8CX multizone Time-of-Flight ranging sensors" on my board. I have a NUCLEO-F401RE and XNUCLEO-53L8A1 expansion board. I'm very new at this and I want to be able to get Hand Posture VL53L8 sensor driver to be able to display some output (thumbs up or thumbs down) but I have no idea how to do that. Do I need to load any dataset before I can use it? Any form of help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, can somebody help me to select the STM32 controller and it's developer board for my first project that involves:wireless air mouse with keyboard and TV controller?

I am trying to make a custom external loader for a qspi nor flash. the erase sector and write operation is success but after I tried the read operation the operation is fail the device is disconnected and showing this message I have tried to run a program like this demo project , the program is working normally and I can read the data . buat after I comment the write section :if (CSP_QSPI_WriteMemory(buffer_test, var * MEMORY_SECTOR_SIZE, sizeof(buffer_test)) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } and read the memorry, the device is disonnected and I have restart the device if I want to connect again. any one know why ?, thank you.

HI,we are interested in a guide to  a clear workflow of integrating CubeMX-generated code for U5 into TFM-based application. In particular:1. We have trustzone-enabled CubeMX-generated app with Azure RTOS and TouchGFX. The IDE and compiler are IAR. We want to be able to easily debug and re-build it, as needed, without any much security involved and, even most important, without manipulations with flash loaders and signed binaries every time a single line of code gets changed. 2. Once we are happy with stable code behaviour, then we want to "wrap" it in TFM, by letting the latter to create signed binaries and the loader, as per TFM example for U5 from STM. If any intermittent step((s) required to achieve so: adjusting addressees, locations, etc - we are OK to create custom pre/post builds ourselves. But we'd like to know what exactly steps are needed. So the questions are:a). Is there any help/guide/examples or any other support can be expected from STM for that matter?(Ye

Hi, I have some questions regarding the ST60x parts Do you have a bulk quantity price estimate for the ST60A2 and ST60A3H1 parts? Are there recommendations for transmitting parallel data across the chip, such as preferred serializer/deserializer ICs? What is the preferred distributer for these parts? Thanks,Jakob C.

I am observing an unexpected reading issue. I am using Calibration and I use a physical distance to Calibrate.  However,  an object right in front of the sensor (1-20mm'ish away) reads a value of 0 (zero).  If I change the Calibration to physical distance + 20 (rough) I get a better measurement of the object when its in front -- I get in fact more of a measurement I would expect.  However,  I would need to calibrate at a distance greater than the physical distance -- which is not what I thought one is supposed to do?

Hi,I am working on a project that store the Configuration data of one device, It needs to be stored in specific sectionstatic unsigned char myBuffer[4] __attribute__((section (".m_data_20000000"))) { 11, 22, 33, 44};with this command I'm able to store it in Program-1 linker script of program-1.m_data_20000000 :{. = ALIGN(4);KEEP (*(.m_data_20000000*)). = ALIGN(4);} >FLASHI have tried NOLOAD NOINIT it is not working...........what changes need to do in program-2But now I want the stored myBuffer[4] data from Flash of stm32 which is stored previously by program-1, without erasing I want access of myBuffer[4] with program-2?What changes I need to do in IAR and STM32Cube IDE for telling them not erase that section, I want access, what type of variable I need to declare in program-2 it is pointer or extern..........Please Help me....

Hi, I have got the filex + levelx working with qspi nor flash chip ( 16 MB size )along with threadx. However I am not able to get the USBX MSC to work to see the files by attaching the STM32H563 Nucleo board to a PC.But the USBx stack doesn't seem to work. I have checked and used all the code from a ready STM32H573 discovery project give by ST Micro. The USBPD stack uses the  void USBPD_DPM_Notification(uint8_t PortNum, USBPD_NotifyEventValue_TypeDef EventVal) function to call start the USB interface. But the USBPD_DPM_Notification() doesn't get called. I am unable to get the USBx CDC ACM working along side Filex as well.
