Hi @Jocelyn RICARD, My team developed Android app with following code to encrypt the message then send it to STM32WB55 device via BLE : ... SecretKeySpec secretKeySpec = new SecretKeySpec(secretKey, "AES"); IvParameterSpec parameterSpec = new IvParameterSpec(iv); Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES/CCM/NoPadding"); cipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, secretKeySpec, parameterSpec); return cipher.doFinal(message); This code has no tag/addData inputs. First attempt:I develop the following code to decrypt the encrypted message on STM32WB55 device  with AddData/Tag variables filled 0 because I dont use them: const uint8_t AddData[] = { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }; const uint8_t Expected_Tag[] =

Hey all,I'm trying to enable FreeRTOS for Nucleo-h745zi-q MCU, but I cannot assign timer to sys clock for cortex-m7 core. It shows timer not assigned to m7 code.

Hello, How to use printf in stm32f429i-disc2 board and my MCU is stm32f103cbt6

I am designing a custom board based on the STM32F407G and need to provide backup power to the VBAT pin using an external battery. my board board must comply with EMI/EMC standards, what are the key requirements and design considerations when connecting the external battery to the VBAT pin?

Hello,Using the MCSDK monitoring tools, we have been able to drive our motor up to 6000 RPM with no issues when unloaded. However, when we put the unit under load, then the desired and achieved RPM deviates somewhere around 4000 RPM. The system is not starved for current or voltage. The controller also clearly receives the commanded speed and does not perform poorly in any other way .... just that it does not go any faster. Here is a screenshot from the motor monitor showing what we see:It seems like the system may have reached a maximum torque limit in software (?). There are no error flags being set (we are using the sensorless+PLL observer in MCSDK 5.3.3). We don't believe this is a case for flux weakening since an unloaded system has no issue achieving this.Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we are seeing here and how to counter it?

Hi,I am trying to set-up the ADC3 for STM32H7 but the HAL_ADC_Init() fails ? After debugging, I see that the function LL_ADC_IsInternalRegulatorEnabled() fails in HAL_ADC_Init(). I also see that DEEPPWD is 0 on reset but the datasheet say that it should be 1 on reset. Why is this so ? regards,Daan

Hi, members.Would you please let me know the package details for USBLC6-4SC6?I need to know the tape dimensions for width(A0) and length(B0) and thickness(K0).   Thank you.Best regards,

Hi ST Community, I’m working on a hardware design using the STM32H7A3 in an LQFP64 package, specifically STM32H7A3RIT and need some reassurance on the power supply configuration. I’ve been looking into the power domains outlined in the application note AN5307, particularly Figure 1 Power supplies, which illustrates the power supply routing. Link to AN5307 Based on this figure and nearby text in the application note; The internal LDO voltage regulator connects to the VDDLDO pin. It seems there’s an option to bypass the internal LDO, allowing an external supply to be connected directly to the VCAP pins. In the LQFP64 package, however, the VDDLDO pin is not available externally, which has me wondering: Does this mean I cannot use the internal LDO with this package? Later in the document, I found Figure 3 suggesting that VDDLDO might be internally tied to the VDD pins. If that’s correct, it would imply that the internal LDO is still accessible and can power the core domain even without

Hi ST Teams,I did a certification test. But failed because the output power exceeded the limit for certain frequencies. The weird thing actually is not in 13.56Mhz, but outside.Result test: I understand that this IC has fixed power output.Do you think we can do anything from command to the IC or this must be to tune the antenna again to solve the issue? Thanks & Best Regards,Rezan

Hi everyone,First, here is my set up:computer: windows 10uC: STM32F030K6T6flashing/debugging hardware tool: ST LINK v2 ( from nucleo board)I have noticed that it takes almost 30 secs to do same operation using CLI (wether directly launching a batch file or launching it from labview) whereas it takes only few second using STL LINK utility. I would like to reach same speed because I want to automize the programming sequence.Do you have any idea that might help ?Here is the batch content, just in case: @Echooffcd c:\prog_config_serieST-LINK_CLI.exe -P C:\prog_config_serie\NextPM_EFS_FB42_23-02-2024.bin 0x08000000 -V while_programmingST-LINK_CLI.exe -Rst

Hello     We are using STM32MP157A processor in our custom board.      Now we are implemented IWDG1 in Cortex A7 processor. The IWDG1 bit is not going to set after reset the processor with Watchdog timeout.we checked in following registers• RCC BOOTROM reset status clear register (RCC_BR_RSTSCLRR),• RCC MCU reset status clear register (RCC_MC_RSTSCLRR),• RCC MPU reset status clear register (RCC_MP_RSTSCLRR) and• RCC MPU reset status set register (RCC_MP_RSTSSETR).    Getting same value in these registers while power on reset and IWDG1 reset.May be what was the issue, any one help me in this regards.regardssrikanth

Hi everyone,I am using Zephyr RTOS as a test on a custom board. I have been trying to communicate with a modem and hoping to receive an OK message whenever I send AT. With an oscilloscope or by connecting it to a USB-Serial cable, I can see that OK is being sent after receiving AT, but in my code, I couldn't manage to read this message.I used the polling and interrupt examples that could be found in the Zephyr repos.Polling:  void send_str(const struct device *uart, char *str) { int msg_len = strlen(str); for (int i = 0; i < msg_len; i++) { uart_poll_out(uart, str[i]); } // printk("Device %s sent: \"%s\"\n", uart->name, str); } void recv_str(const struct device *uart, char *str) { char *head = str; char c; while (!uart_poll_in(uart, &c)) { *head++ = c; } *head = '\0'; printk("Device %s received: \"%s\"\n", uart->name, str); } int main(void) { char* send_buf = "AT\r\n"; char recv_buf[64]; while(1) { send_str(uart_dev, send_buf); /* Wai

I make a blankcheck of a device with this command:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe" "-c port=swd UR -blankcheck"This command returns ERRORLEVEL == 0 if the device is blank, but also if the devices is programmed. How can I, from the command line, find out if a device is programmed or not?

I want to implement CAN Communication in Loopback mode in which I have added Can interrupt mode . In Tx interrupt it will sent data after every 1000 m/s and data increment . In Rx interrupt it will read the sent data. I compiled the code and it will show me the value in live registers.  But I am not able to see that in logic analyzer. Suggest me some ideas to help me out.

Hi, I am using STMH755ZI chip and i have a custom board created using this. I have code which receives a character through UART and jumps to DFU mode for flashing. I am not using ST LINK and in case of emergency, i kept BOOT0 pin open so that i can go to DFU mode in case UART is not working. My normal work flow is build code, get the ELF file,  Jump to DFU mode, use Cube Programmer for uploading the ELF file. It's been working fine for months now, and i never had any problem with it, till now. I uploaded a code as usual and i noticed that the board is not booting up. So i tried using BOOT0 pin for jumping to DFU mode for uploading a new code. But when i try to connect to the board using cube programmer it asks whether i should disable read protection or not. So i clicked OK. Then when i try to upload a code, or even erase the flash it gives me "Error: RDP level is set to 1, try using Read UnProtect (-rdu) command in order to remove the Read Out Protection.". I tried using com

Hi All,I'm trying to setup 2 ADCs in continous mode but I'm failing miserably. In CubeMX I set the first ADC in continuous mode, triggered by software, then HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1); and it works as expected (I have a callback to read the value). Then, I go to the second ADC, setup the samme manner as the first one, but it does not work, only the first interrupt is triggered. HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc1); //only this Interrupt works HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc2);If I change the order of the calls (hadc2 first) the first one called works and the second is never triggered. Is there any special caveat to activate both ADCs? I'm starting to consider the possibility of this board uses a bad clone.

Hello, I'm relatively new to the stm32cubeIDE and currently using it to program a self balancing robot using an stm32F103C8T6 chip.My current issue is that when i run the SSD1306 OLED display through SPI I am able to display graphics and text as required but as soon as i add the I2C protocol on to the chip the SSD1306 chooses not to display anything. I haven't coded the I2C to read from the MPU6050 sensor as of yet as I am trying to get around this problem as it seems more a I2C bus problem than a specific device problem.Stm32CubeIDE chip set up STM32F103C8T6 Circuit Diagram I'm using the SSD1306 library provided by afikson on github (afiskon/stm32-ssd1306: STM32 library for working with OLEDs based on SSD1306, SH1106, SH1107 and SSD1309, supports I2C and SPI)Not yet got a library or code for the MPU6050. I should also mention that the SSD1306 CS pin is connected to ground on the module itself (not to the bluepill as seen in the wiring diagram, put it in there for refere

Starting make or clean. Happens with 1.15.1 and 1.16.1. Just recently updated to Ubuntu 24.10 (from 23.10) and seems to happens after that update. Just fresh installed IDE 1.16.1 because the "update" feature (link in update sites) seems (sometimes) broken or not working in 1.15.1You may see the following :it seems progressing then it my jump back in progress %Cancelling the "discover language settings and it start the build, but it stuck at make and nothing happens.it stops at the same file as posted here:https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1089926/make clean and the result is the sameI tried these settings, the discovery blocking is gone,  but make stops as above picturehttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/why-does-the-index-not-work-and-how-to-make-it-work/td-p/269134

Hi,I am Faruk. What i am trying to do is, sending data that i collacted from ADC Ports to Nextion HMI Display. Also at the same time i am getting signals from buttons on the Nextion HMI Display. I use UART pins of Nextion HMI Display. 5V RX TX GND.If i dont transmit any data to HMI Display i can get signals from buttons on HMI Display. One of the buttons start saving data to SD Card. The other ones increase and decrease the output signal that goes out from DAC. When i use receive and transmit at the same time. Only transmit section works. I cannot get signal from buttons on HMI Display. I am uploading the code here. I just couldnt figure it out why it doesent work correctly. I need some help about this situation. This is my final project. I am gonna test it on Friday. So i have to figure it out. I also uploaded the main.c file.  //Data sending to Nextion HMI Displayvoid nextion_Send_Float(char *obj, float num, int dp){ int32_t number = num*(pow(10,dp)); uint8_t

Dear Readers,I try to flash my board in Debian 6.1 on 64bit version in a VirtualBox.Whatever I doSTM32_Programmer_CLI -l usbalways fails.I have donesudo apt-get install libusb-1.0-0cd xyz /Drivers/rules sudo cp *.* /etc/udev/rules.d/I rebootet, but a usb device index is never shown. Is the reason VirtualBox-usage?Thanks in advanceBubra

I am working on an STM32f767 project with LWIP and MQTT. Everything seemed to work for a while but eventually, I received the following assert:  "pbuf_free: p->ref > 0..." which caused it to crash sometimes; but sometimes it will continue to work without any issue.  Has anyone had a similar issue? According to LWIP_IAP example, memory location 0x20048000 is labeled as ethernet rx buffer location; however, I could not find where this location is linked to the ethernet rx buffer. for example, 0x2007C000 memory location in the linker file for RxDescripSection & TxDecripSection. And does the size of the MPU region have to be equal to or greater than MEM_SIZE defined in opt.h?   My settings:  LinkerScript.ld Memory_B1(xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x2004C000, LENGTH = 0xA0 Memory_B2(xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x2004C0A0, LENGTH = 0xA0   .RxDecripSection (NOLOAD) : { *(.RxDescripSection) } >Memory_B1 .TxDecripSection (NOLOAD) : { *(.DMATxDscrTab_section) } >Mem

Hello everyone,I’ve been working on a project using the STM32F7 Discovery board and I’m trying to execute code from external SDRAM. However, I’ve run into a puzzling issue and could use some guidance. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the problem:Setup:I’ve successfully configured the FMC to interface with external SDRAM.I’ve also set up the MPU to enable execution from the SDRAM region. The SDRAM initialization sequence follows the recommended steps (clock enable, precharge, auto-refresh, and load mode register).I’ve disabled MPU caching to rule out cache-related issues for now.The Problem:When I attempt to jump to code that’s loaded in SDRAM, the program counter (PC) seems to advance and execute instructions, but none of the registers (R0-R15) are being updated as expected. There are no hard faults or other exceptions being triggered, which is unusual because, in other attempts with incorrect MPU settings, I’ve triggered hard faults for unexecutable regions. It appears as if the CPU is fet

What is the name of the connector used on stlinkv2 programmers like this one? I can use single wires taped together, but hoping there's a standard cable or connector type that will connect better than single header pins taped together.

Hi,If I have understood correctly, the OTA bootloader is already integrated in the examples BLE_p2pServer_ota and BLE_HeartRate_ota for the WBA55CG. This means that the BLE_ApplicationInstallManager no longer needs to be installed on the target beforehand. Then why is the start address of the flash 0x0800 6000 and not 0x0800 0000 in the linker script file? If the OTA bootloader is also installed, the start address should not be 0x0800 0000?Here the Memory Definitions in the Linker-Script file:BLE_p2pServer_ota/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { RAM (rw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000020, LENGTH = (128K - 0x20) NVM (r) : ORIGIN = 0x080FC000, LENGTH = 16K DATA (r) : ORIGIN = 0x080FA000, LENGTH = 8K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08006000, LENGTH = 488K } BLE_ApplicationInstallManager/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { RAM (rw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000010, LENGTH = (0x10000 - 0x10) FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 0x6000 }In this case, so if the OTA bootloader is included here for BLE_p2pServ

Hello, I use STM32F042C6U6 processor. I use IN 2, 3 and 4 inputs for ADC, but when I activate channel IN 4 input, there are serious deviations in other ADC values.
