Hello,Who should I contact to obtain the firmware of the P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2.Thanks

I'm trying to configure the STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack USB Dongle with the Mac_802_15_4_Sniffer_Dongle.bin but the Start Address is empty:  What value goes here?

So I tried upgrading the firmware. I first downloaded the STM32CubeProgrammer, linux version, on the my computer. Then I got the device into DFU mode as per instructions and attempted to flash the new firmware using the STMCubeProgrammer software. Afterwards, it did not restart and no longer goes into DFU mode. It does not show in lsusb at all. It previously did as an STM device in DFU mode, but now its no show. The MCU is an STM32H743. I found an SWD port on the PCB and connected to it, again using the STM32CubeProgrammer software but with an STLinkV2. On selecting the STLink option and clicking connect, the program reads the MCU details, but fails to read any data or flash a binary file. When attempting to flash a new firmware I am getting 3 errors:   Error: Flash loader cannot be loaded   Warning: The core is locked up   Start operation achieved successfully   Can I unlock the core and get it into DFU mode, or at least flash the new firmware? Hello, ST experts STM32U595VJT6 is used on the design. The OTG part of MCU works well on USB device mode. And it functions as USB flash disk.  But when I check the logical level from OTG device status register(address offset is 0x808), there is something wrong. If the USB cable is plugged in, it is all right, DEVLNSTS[1:0] are all zero. But when the USB cable is move out, DEVLNSTS[1] is 0, DEVLNSTS[0] is 1. That means USB_D+ is 0, USB_D- is 1. But the real logical level of USB_D+ is 1(about 3.3V), USB_D- is 0.Am I missunderstand something? Best RegardsYang

Hi,We are using the chip PowerSTEP01 in our design. In the datasheet, it is mentioned in the application diagram that the VDDIO pin can be powered from the VREG pin. However, the X-NUCLEO IHM03A1 evaluation board design shows that it is powered externally. Which one is the correct way of doing it? Are there any problems or limitations in powering the VDDIO from the internal regulator? Best Regards,Biju

Hello everyone,I'm using Board NUCLEO-U031R8 for testing now.I have an old FreeRTOS project designed for a power-saving application, and I am preparing to migrate it to a new IC STM32U031 series MCU.In the old project, setting configUSE_TICKLESS_IDLE to 1 allowed the system to enter low-power mode when tasks were idle, and the low-power support feature provided by the manufacturer. So I started with STM32CubeMX to create a simple project and install "X-CUBE-FREERTOS" middleware (CMSIS RTOS2), and set configUSE_TICKLESS_IDLE to 1. then using STM32CubeIDE to import the .ioc file, last adding a long-duration LED blink task to make sure the system would entry tickless idle mode. The LED operates as expected, but I noticed that the current consumption averages around 5mA, which suggests that low-power features might not be functioning as intended. Do I missing something or wrong understanding? Is there a recommended way to achieve low-power mode with tickless functionality in FreeRTOS?RegardsK

Hello everyone,I'm using Board NUCLEO-U031R8 for testing now, and I started with cubeMX and initial component below:System Clock configure to HSI (16MHz)FreeRTOS with USE_TICKLESS_IDLE as 1 (built in functionality enabled), and auto generated two function PreSleepProcessing() / PostSleepProcessing().LPTIM1 with 32kHz LSI and clock presclaer set to Div32, every timer count alomost 1ms, using for replace the sysTick while tickless idle.LPUART1 with 16MHz HSI1, interrupt RXNE/WKUP/ERROR always enabled after system initial done. The task is startup and print information and delay 1 second, then entering an endless loop that includes a 1-second running delay and a 4-second sleep delay, and everything works fine in 1 second running delay. But when sending bytes in sleep, it would occur overrun error when received length > 2, so i toggle an output while interrupt occur. and i saw an weird interrupt while receiving bytes, the record here.To I modify tickless idle part, I disable sysTick

I'm trying to debug a STM32 project on an STM32 IoT Discovery Node Board (B-L475E-IOT01A1) from my MacBook Pro (M1 Max running Sonoma 14.5). Every time I build and start a debug session, the process gets stuck on "Launching : Performing pre-launch check..." as shown in the figure below. When it get's stuck like this, it can't be canceled and the only way to clear the process is to restart the IDE. I am new to this kind of debugging, but I have a feeling this is a problem with the USB connection and drivers because when I restart my computer, it usually works (without changing any of the project settings or configurations).ST-link server is running on my machine, and seems to have connected properly as shown in the output for the following commands. Is there any known way to resolve this error? Restart the drivers or reconnect ST-link? Restarting my computer every time is not really a long-term solution. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, I am new to CubeIDE.  edit:

I'm using TrueStudio for my previous product coding/debugging.  I downloaded some example projects from ST website,  there are options for IAR/Keil/STM32CubeIDE, is TrueStudio fully replaced by STM32CubeIDE?I'm get used to TrueStudio, is STM32CubeIDE much better than TrueStudio?

Hello,We are developing an industrial application based on STM32H7 (STM32H723ZGTx) and we are using NXP "TJA1101B" for PHY.It is connected to STM32H7 using RMII interface. We took hardware reference from "TJA1100 Customer Evaluation Board" schematic. When we initialise PHY in STM32H7, it failed to initialise PHY (HAL_ETH_Init failed with HAL_ERROR). We are using STM32Cube version 1.9.1.  PC1 ETH_MDC PA7 ETH_CRS_DV PC4 ETH_RXD1 PC5 ETH_RXD0 PA1 ETH_REF_CLK PB11 ETH_TX_EN PB13 ETH_TXD1 PB12 ETH_TXD0 PA2 ETH_MDIO PA6 ETH_EN [Set O/P High]  Same Ethernet code is working in "NUCLEO-H723ZG" evaluation kit with LAN8747-A. Will you please guide us the debug the issue in hardware of firmware?  Thanks & RegardNeel

Hello,I am investigating in using L5970AD DCDC converter for a 12VDC to 3V3 need.It was advised to me by the ST DCDC online simulator. It's a 20 year old circuit but it it matches the budget, the additional BOM and the efficiency so I am interested. But I don't reach in answering some questions. If one of you can share some return of experience about this chip I am gladly listening.I am in design phase, looking datasheets, and except error I don't find my answers :- The VREF signal is noticed as 3V3. 3V3 is the output I want to create. On the Typical application schematic it seems not clear for me if connecting VREF to the output is okay, or if we need a precursor 3V3 ??? Should we supply a high impedance 3V3 from resistor divided input for example ? I couldn't reach advise about it, the is no paragraph about VREF. Is it an input or an output? What about generating 5V, do we need a 3V3 rail ? Also, even if switching frequencies are different, why not group L5970AD and L5970D in one

Hi,I used a Nucleo-F303RE board as template for my own hardware. Timers and clockfrequency are running fine on the NUCLEO but they are slow by factor 9 on my own hardware. USARTs are running on the exspected baudrate. Factor 9 gives a hint to the PLL block in clock generation. I recently learned that PLL is running on VDDA. I blocked VDDA from VDD with a bead. Is it the PLL?Why does it not lock, where can I check?Poor VDD? Poor blocking VDDA from VDD? Poor XTAL? Something totally different. Why the correct baudrate? THX for hints.Cheers Detlef

To control a DC motor driver I need to set one pin permanently high and the other is inverse PWM.If I want to reverse the motor direction I need to swap these settings. So I configured both pins as PWM output. But if I want to set one output pin high the following code is ignored:HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, MOTOR_IN1_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET);The pin stays low, maybe because the pin is officially not in GPIO mode?So I thought ok setting 100% duty has the same effect, but when I measure on the scope you see small glitches to zero volt. So my question can be solved two ways:How do I make my PWM output pin accept also WritePin commands?ORHow can I get rid of the small glitches in my 100% duty cycle?

Hi,I am working on STM32MP133FAFx (I2C Master) for I2C communication with STPMIC1 IC (I2C slave) fast mode(400KHz) and HSI clock(64MHz). I2C->TIMINGR = 0x00C0216CFor writing data TXIS flag is getting send and I am writing the register but when trying to read data back from PMIC RXNE flag is not getting set and RXDR register is not showing data.Configuration for reading & writing data is done as per the example code provided by STi.e. used  HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() & HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() functions for 1 byte data transfer. Please help me how to resolve this issue and provide me the solution.

I want to use the second USB of my nucleo-h753zi board, in a program that checks and graphs the movements and clicks of the mouse that enters through the USB port, but I only see the stlink, there is the init = MX_USB_DEVICE_Init (void);  I used the power in "ext" and in "chgr" but without result.  What am I missing or what am I doing wrong? Thanks

I want to know the address in the memory map, is it a virtual address or a physical address?

Hi,Currently I can able to RDP protection ie., Product state using STM32CubeProgrammer and it is working. But our requirement is we want to use Any HAL_driver /C-code instead of STM32Cube. Any suggestion.

I have two active ADCs with many channels reading, some in regular converison, some injected, etc.The code is autogenerated from MC Workbench, but I added a channel 11 for an external potentiometer.I don't really know in the autogenerated files where the other ADC channels are read, and in addition to reading those channels, I should also read channel 11.I ask you if this code is sufficient (in the main.c) to read also from ADC1 and channel 11:there is the error: ADC_HandleTypeDef has no member named rank Maybe I should add these lines of code where the other channels are also read? ..to avoid two HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallbacks in the project.I kindly ask you how to solve (I think bases a simple line of code that unfortunately I do not know)Thank you.

Hello ST Community,I’m currently working on a project using the RAK3172 Evaluation Board that integrates the STM32WLE5 chipset. I successfully tested the default example (LORAWAN_AT_SLAVE), and it works well on the evaluation board. I’m able to communicate using AT commands as expected.Project Setup:In my project, I need to:Read multiple sensor data over UART via RS485.Send this data to a server using LoRaWAN communication.Challenges:The STM32WLE5 in the RAK3172 module has three UART peripherals, but only two can be used simultaneously. Here’s my current setup:UART1: Used to receive sensor data over RS485.UART2: Used for debugging. This configuration leaves me without a dedicated UART for LoRaWAN communication. Since I can’t use a third UART, I’ve tried sharing UART2 between debugging and LoRaWAN communication.LoRaWAN Configuration and Issue:I’ve hardcoded the AT commands in the code itself to configure and join the LoRaWAN network, so they’re not being entered manually. However, a

Hello,UM2407 is the user manual of the STM32H723ZG Nucleo-144 development board. Likewise, the schematics of this board are available as https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb1364-h723zg-e01_schematic.pdf.In both the manual and the schematics, there are multiple references to "PF0/PH0" and "PF1/PH1". See, for example, Section 6.5.1. This confuses me, because I don't see how the MCU pin PF0 relates to PH0 (likewise for PF1 and PH1). As far as I can tell, this peculiar labeling is not explained anywhere. In the MCU's datasheet DS13313, there are separate pins for PH0, PF0, PH1, and PF1.Can anyone tell me what I am missing here? Why is the labeling as it is?Cheers, Sidney

EDIT: My apologies, it turns out that since i had auto reload preload enabled and was not setting the CNT back to 0, the timer would keep counting up until a rollover. I wrote a test program to test a 5 ms  PWM single pulse output with a 3-timer master/slave configuration with an automatic period scaling feature that I wrote.you press the onboard user pushbutton to cycle through a couple of presets.TIM22 is used as a prescalar for TIM3 by setting its slave mode as external clock mode 1. then TIM3's TRGO is mapped to TIM'2 trigger source. TIM2 is configured in slave mode reset mode. As far as I'm aware, when TIM3's CNT reaches the ARR, the program should call HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback() and reset the CNT register, no? However when i'm on preset where TIM3's ARR is set to 4, the controller will seem to 'skip' the entire UE and not trigger an interrupt nor reset TIM2 like it is supposed to. TIM3 will just keep count up. Why is this happening? Attached is my .ioc file.in
