Hello, I just noticed that foceState and getState (for toggleButton) are not what i thought they were, until now I used to think that forceState would just simulate the press of a button for being able to press a button from the code, without physically pressing it, and that getState would just return true if the toggle state was pressed and false otherwise, but I just noticed it's not like that, those are just for swaping the pressed and released states, which is a bit confusing,my question is, how can i force a state of a toggle button then, imagine im using scroll list so only the elements visible right at the moment in the list exist, and we scroll down, imagine the element 20 is supossed to have a toggle toggled, how do i toggle it from the callback. This was my best idea, simulating the press and then release of the button, but this just doesn't feel good, there should be an easier way to just press or unpress a button right? void ProgramsListElement::Set_Favourite(

Hi Everyone I am using Internal adc to sample 2 channels of adc using polling method I am not able to reduce the number of samples per cycle by changing prescaler or Sampling time I can only control the samples per cycle by giving software delay -->     /* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2024 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ****************************************************************************** */ /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #includ

I imported the SPC560Bxx_RLA ADC example. As I understand, this example use ADC conversion with DMA, and the ADC value will be converted to the delay time between each time LED D8 is toggled. But some type like uint32_t could not be resolved and I tried this, I added these path to my project properties "path and symbols":C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\eclipse\plugins\com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514\toolchain\includeC:\SPC5Studio-6.0\eclipse\plugins\com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514\toolchain\include\sysC:\SPC5Studio-6.0\eclipse\plugins\com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514\toolchain\lib\gcc\powerpc-eabivle\4.9.4\includeand it could be built then. But the problem is I did not see any difference of LED's blinking when I connect the PB[8] pin to VCC pin. in UDE window I did not see any change in "samples[0]" variable. So ADC was not working?I noticed this statement: "adc_lld_start(&ADCD2, NULL);" is this "N

I've copied the folder containing a TouchGFX project for the STM32H7B3I-DK from one machine to another. However, I get the following error when I try to generate code on the new machine:  Generate Assets make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8 Reading ./application.config Reading ./target.config uninitialized constant Outputter::ApplicationFontProviderCpp Did you mean? ApplicationFontProviderHpp An error occurred during text conversion Cleaning generated files from generated/texts and generated/fonts. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Is there some additional diagnostics stored somewhere that I can review?

Hello everyone!I'm working on an application using TouchGFX, and I've implemented a slider to control the display brightness. Here's the relevant code:    brightness_slider.setXY(864, 262); brightness_slider.setBitmaps(touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_ALTERNATE_THEME_IMAGES_WIDGETS_SLIDER_HORIZONTAL_THIN_TRACK_SMALL_ID), touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_ALTERNATE_THEME_IMAGES_WIDGETS_SLIDER_HORIZONTAL_THIN_FILLER_SMALL_ID), touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_ALTERNATE_THEME_IMAGES_WIDGETS_SLIDER_HORIZONTAL_THIN_ROUND_LIGHT_ID)); brightness_slider.setupHorizontalSlider(12, 9, 0, 0, 200); brightness_slider.setValueRange(100, 998); brightness_slider.setValue(TIM15->CCR1); brightness_slider.setNewValueCallback(sliderValueChangedCallback); add(brightness_slider);   In this setup, setValue is initialized with TIM15->CCR1 to align the slider position with the current brightness level. The code works as expected; however, there’s an issue: this code is located in myScreenViewBase.

How do I know if the button in the board is just a push button, or also has up,down, right left capabilities?

Process Explorer is showing a number of TouchGFXDesigner processes as running even though all instances of it have been closed (there are no windows visible).I found this when I tried to delete and folder and that failed with an "in use" message - Resource Monitor showed this use was by the orphaned TouchGFXDesigner processes.I am using version 4.23.1 under Windows 11.

Hey everyone I have a qn freejoy.hex is 155kb and my stm32c8t6 is only 64kbs and 128kb how did yall get it flashedRefer freejoy and freejoy configurator It gives me an error file size larger than flash size but other people seems to have workaround any guidence would help a lotThanks

Hi, I recently tried SDK 6.3.0, 6.3.1, and 6.3.2. The Board Designer tool is the best for me. It's pretty cool and nice. With this tool, I can easily design the board for motor control. However, I would like to know the reason for adding the feature of PFC to this tool. All the MCUs are showing as "PFC is not supported". Does that mean the "PFC" feature is not available to use or am I missing out something on it? If this "PFC" feature is not available to use in SDK6.3.X, what is the reason for adding this feature in the Board Designer? I also tried to find it in the released note but I saw nothing regarding PFC.  Thanks and regards,Agga Min Khant

I am planning to purchase a BLDC motor drive from ST. I have shortlisted EVALSTDRIVE 101 and Nucleo F446RE. There is a lack of clarity on how this two boards are connected together. Should I purchase X-Nucleo-IHM09M2 or something else

Hello,I am developing a BLE application using the STM32WB Custom Template. In my project, I want to implement the Whitelist feature. My goal is to start the device in normal advertising mode initially, obtain the MAC address of the connected device, and then add this device to the Whitelist. For subsequent connections, I only want devices that are in the Whitelist to be able to connect. However, it seems that the Custom Template does not include the necessary configurations or support for Whitelist usage by default. Because of this, I need some guidance:My Questions:How should I configure the GAP settings in the STM32WB Custom Template to enable Whitelist usage? Are there any additional settings required, especially for GAP roles (Central/Peripheral) and Whitelist support? What settings do I need to enable in STM32CubeMX for Whitelist usage? Which options should I select to enable Whitelist and correctly configure the GAP features? How should I structure the Adv_Request() function to perf

Hi,we are looking for the right Part Number for a STM32WB55RGV 32MHz Crystal. On the NUCLEO-WB55RG evaluation board schematic, we see this part number, but every supplier offers a wide range of similar crystals but with different capacitances. We already have an issue with a similar ST device (STM32WBA55) design where we experienced issues selecting a different crystal other than the one in eval board. Could you point out the exact part number to be sure we use the same? Best Regards,Fernando.

Why we Enable the Speculation default mode for MPU? Is there any reason to enable it?

Hi Using the following tools: TouchGFX Designer 4.24.0 CubeIDE 1.16.1 and CubeMx 6.11.0   I have attempted to build a system with ethernet capability.   I added the ethernet peripheral, LwIP compiled it without any errors, but the ethernet does not work.  The router it is connected to does not "see" the MAC address and fails to assign an IP address. I have DHCP enabled.   I bolted Adam Berlinger's code into one of my projects Adams Ethernet   and that worked fine, with DHCP but the I cannot get the latest CubeMX build to work.   I have used the same board and cable that I used with Adams ethernet code for the new build so it's not the hardware. Is the latest CubeMX build supposed to at least connect to a router and allow a ping test or do I have to do something else. The touchGFX code is working fine. To be quite frank I find the ST Ethernet firmware and builds to be a nightmare.  You basically have to be an experienced network engineer first to under

Hi,I am new to the STM32 Discovery boards. I've chosen the STM32F072B-DISCO as my Discovery kit and am currently exploring how to begin developing applications with it.As per the 'Getting Started with STM32F072DISCOVERY' video and the UM1715 User manual, the software development tools mentioned are IAR Embedded Workbench, Microcontroller Development Kit for ARM (MDK-ARM) by Keil, and TrueSTUDIO by Atollic.Could you please inform me if the board is compatible with the ST Development tools such as STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE? Could you kindly assist in identifying the IDE and SDK, along with a sample application, in order to kickstart the development process? Thanks and regards,Prasanth

Hi,My MCU is STM32F746ZG. When I want to use DFU to upgrade my board by STM32CubeProgrammer, It show "No DFU detected" in the port list. And I use "zadig" to try install DUF driver, it cannot find any STM DUF device, too.Do my DFU firmware lost in my MCU? If can I download DFU firmware to program it by ST-Link? Regards,Cloud

Hi. Isn't it possible to turn on the internal pull-up resistors for SDIO lines in STM32U585?In cubeMX configuration, It doesn't show pull up option in gpio config. Also choosing pull up in the init code doesn't look like enabling it. is there anywhere in the datasheet or reference manual that explains this?

Hello all I am facing a issue my program works however when is executes this part it runs only once after that it ran into hard fault. I have attached the snap of structure part of code which cause it and also exception observation please let me know if you do have any suggestion.

Hi, I am using the STM32 Nucleo WBA52CG evaluation board and programming it using Zephyr v3.7.0 and am looking how to set the Tx output power of the BLE radio. Are there any configs available in Zephyr for the same?  If not, alternatively please suggest a way to do this. I want to configure the Tx output power of the radio to +5 dBm. Thanks, Kaiwalya

Hello All ,   I am using UART6 of STM32H7 series MCU for reception of 9 Byte data . UART is  losing first byte when receiving data on UART using interrupt. Setup: 1. I am using full duplex RS485 (Modbus) 2. I have 2 MAX485 IC one for reception & another one for Transmission. 3. Data I am sending : Take for second Reception Image: 02 00 35 01 00 01 00 03 3C when I do hit RxCpltCallback function in debugger I have observed that I am losing first byte of frame.  I have added two Snaps of Data reception. we can see the first byte is getting filled with 0 after that we are receiving data and at the end we are losing 9th byte. do you think there is some issue with UART configuration ? What could be the possible solution for this ? Thanks & Regards,  Devendra Mishra STM32Cube Mx Setting :

TL;DR: I see that the WUTF bit in RTC ISR register is correctly set after the RTC wake up timer period elapses, but the interrupt service routine is never entered. RTC interrupt is enabled in NVIC though, and the interrupt service routine function name matches the one in the startup file. What's stopping the MCU from entering the interrupt routine? Hello,I am trying to periodically enter an RTC wake up timer interrupt service routine on my NUCLEO-L031K6. I don't actually go to any low power mode yet, so I do not actually "wake up", I just want to respond to the interrupt for now. I managed to do this very easily with HAL driver, but I am completely stumped with the Low-Layer (LL) driver, which is the one I intend to use in my application. This is what I did:1) Set CubeMX: activate RTC clock source, enable internal wake up, set wake up clock to 1 Hz clock, set wake up timer to 2 (just a random value, don't care), output 1 Hz signal to verify on oscilloscope the RTC is running (and I

Hello,I am implementing Secure Manager V1.2.0 from X-CUBE-SEC-M-H5 in my firmware. I am following the instructions provided in the "How to start with Secure Manager (customized configuration) on STM32H5" page.Is it possible to configure Option Bytes outside of the specific registers described on that page?To clarify, I am developing firmware for the STM32H573VI and plan to incorporate Secure Manager V1.2.0. My non-secure application requires High-Cycle Data, which can be set through the EDATA1R_PRG register.

Hello everyone,I have a question regarding the ST25R95-VMD5T. I’m working on a project where I need to read an NFC tag, specifically an ISO 14443-4A NXP MIFARE Plus tag.
