Hi,I'm working with X-CUBE AI.The code seems working but I have a doubt:status_init = ai_network_create_and_init(&network_handle, act_addr, NULL);Is NULL parameter correct ?Why souldn't I need to pass a pointer also for weigths like 'act_addr' ?If it is required how am I supposed to achieve this point without occcupy other RAM space ? (Note that inference output is actually weird, but it could be correct cause I used mockup input data to feed the network)Please, take a look to code and log below:  ....network_data_params.h.... #ifndef NETWORK_DATA_PARAMS_H #define NETWORK_DATA_PARAMS_H #include "ai_platform.h" /* #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_WEIGHTS_PARAMS \ (AI_HANDLE_PTR(&ai_network_data_weights_params[1])) */ #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_CONFIG (NULL) #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_ACTIVATIONS_SIZES \ { 306432, } #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_ACTIVATIONS_SIZE (306432) #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_ACTIVATIONS_COUNT (1) #define AI_NETWORK_DATA_ACTIVATION_1_SIZE (306432) #define

I have two buttons on Screen1.  Both interactions change screen to Screen2.  Can I determine which button was pressed when in Screen2View::setup?Or do I need to use a separate virtual functions and then create a variable setting the button called?

hello!i'm trying to make a project with the board SNK1M1 coupled with the NUCLEO-G071RB using azure ThreadX instead of FreeRTOS.i'm able to replicate the example provided here:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/STM32StepByStep:Getting_started_with_USB-Power_Delivery_Sink#Configure_UCPD_monitor_firmware_responder_for_debugor the video on youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbdFHmMOMwkand all work fine like in the videoBUTif i change the Rtos with azure ThreadX nothing work anymore!the code is compiled without problem, it seems to run (no hardfault error) but i can't find the board in the cube monitor UCPD there is some additional step to use azure threadX instead FreeRTOS?there is a tutorial of how to use with threadX? thank you in advance!

Hi everyone,I am working on an experiment using the STM32G0B1 NUCLEO board to implement the PMBUS slave functionality with the SMBUS middleware.According to AN4502, the buffer in SMBUS_StackHandleTypeDef *pStackContext is described as being used for IO. I have a question regarding handling master requests. When the master sends a command to read the input voltage, such as PMBC_READ_VIN (0x88), at what point should the application layer populate the buffer with the data so that the master receives the correct value? If anyone has experience with this or could provide example code, I would greatly appreciate your help.Thank you!

Hello, I am completely new to STM32. I am using a RAK3172 based on the stm32wle5ccu6 chip. I have already tested some basic codes on it and works fine. I am trying to write a code to perform modbus communication with a certain device. So i started with implementing UART in the chip. Transmitting the data works exactly as intended. However I am not able to receive data more than once. I have started testing using this documentation: Getting Started with UART . Code:  while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, tx_buff, 10, 1000); if(HAL_UART_Receive(&huart2, rx_buff, 10, 10000)==HAL_OK) //if transfer is successful { __NOP(); //You need to toggle a breakpoint on this line! } else { __NOP(); } }  I have connected the USART tx,rx line to USB-TTL converter and opened the connection in Arduino Serial monitor. I am able to transmit from the stm properly, however, when I send data from

Using STM32CubeMX Version 6.11.1 for code generation of STM32U545RETxQ LQFP64.When pressing "Generate Code" there is a message recommending SMPS setting from the PWR menu. However, no SMPS there and not anywhere in the configuration menu. (Attached)Any idea?

I am trying to validate a CNN on STM32CubeMX with X-Cube-AI 9.1.0. I provided a datainput.CSV and a dataoutput.csv files to  "Validation inputs:  & Validation outputs: " respectively. When ran Validate on desktop or Validate on target, they all failed >>  "E204(ValParamError): number of data files is not enough, 4 are expected."Could you please help me sort out this problem?Do data files in .csv  correct?Only have 2 boxes for 2 files providing, why expected 4? QS

Hello there,I’m trying to squeeze functionality into an STM32U5 MCU via the STM32CubeMX tool. After setting the pins, the clock configuration fails to find a solution. The requirements for the clock are to run from an internal source, as the design is cost-sensitiveand run the system clock as close as possible to the maximum possible clock, which is 160MHz.I tried a few system clock values, but STM32CubeMX always failed, also, STM32CubeMX does not provide a direction or an alternative solution (e.g. Here is an alternative solution but it runs only at a system clock of  XXX MHz).I’d like to emphasise that each such clock configuration search is very long (more than an hour on a strong computer), but eventually always fails. What would be the best way to move forward?

does ST have examples of using the new NFCTagReaderSession which works with M24LR16E and up. examples of using NFCISO15693Tag protocol methods: readSingleBlock, writeSingleBlock, lockBlock, readMultipleBlocks, writeMultipleBlocks, getMultipleBlocksSecurityStatus, customComand, select

I want to render 3D on stm32h743iit6. I found emberGL a kind of small GL which can render simple thing on chips. But it has less documents. I tried to contact developer but he didnt answer me.so there is someone who knows EmberGL. Thanks Very Much

Hi,I did setup CubeMX latest(6.13) and previous version , Kaspersky have seen virus and I ignored it. After that I got some malfunction on my pc like internet connection disabled, windows bar doesnt work.

Hi everyone, On STM32C0, PA9 and PA11 are same pin, need to enable/disable remap to switch between them. Meaning if I enable PA9 then PA11 cannot be used. Same issue for PA10 and PA12. In STM32 Bootloader mode, STM32 can detect UART or USB mode on these pins at the same time, how do they do that? If we config USB, using PA11 and PA12 then we cannot use PA9, PA10 for UART1.  If we config UART then we cannot use PA11 and PA12 for USB. We can detect start of frame or USB, if config these pins for USB, or receiving 0x7F for UART, if config these pins for UART. But I can't find anyway to do UART and USB at the same time.

Hello STI have a project where I need to start and stop the UART during runtime, and I have noticed a possible bug in the stm32f3xx_hal_uart.c file. The issue is that when initializing the UART to use the UART_ADVFEATURE_TXINVERT_INIT parameter, the Tx pin goes high for a very short time (~10us). I suspected that it was because the inversion of the pin took place after the UART was started, and i did some digging in the HAL code.  By setting the breakpoints as above, i concluded that the signal that was on the Tx pin was high after UART_SetConfig was called, and it went low again after UART_AdvFeatureConfig was called. This seems to me that the pin goes high (UART Idle), before the inversion takes place (UART idle low after inversion). The Tx pin viewed under an oscilloscope where the code is initializing and deinitializing the UART every ~100ms, resulted in a consistent voltage spike. I tried to confirm my suspicion by swapping the order the two functions were called, so the invers

So I got into some merge conflicts.. Fine I thought - they should be manageable. Simple things in the .touchgfx file and some in texts.xml   But no matter what I do TouchGFX Designer cannot create assets. It complains about merge conflicts in generated files - yes there are conflicts in generated files. But that shouldn't matter since running the asset generation should overwrite those ... ?   It seems touchgfx does not clear the cache folders.   If I manually clear the cache folders I run into this error: Done Post Generate touchgfx update_project --project-file=simulator/msvs/Application.vcxproj C:/TouchGFX/4.24.1/env/MinGW/msys/1.0/Ruby30-x64/lib/ruby/gems/3.0.0/gems/touchgfx-cli-4.24.1/lib/touchgfx/generators/msvs_project_updater.rb:89:in `block (2 levels) in ensure_source_nodes': undefined method `downcase' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) from C:/TouchGFX/4.24.1/env/MinGW/msys/1.0/Ruby30-x64/lib/ruby/gems/3.0.0/gems/nokogiri-1.12.5-x64-mingw32/lib/nokogiri/xml/node_

Hey everyone, I'm new to the whole STM32 world so bear with me.I saw that the NUCLEO-F072RB worked with the X-NUCLEO-GFX01M2, but I can't make it work. The touchGFX is grey in the CubeMX and there are no examples in the touchGFX designer with the F series.I was trying to work with the IDE instead of CubeMX but the result is the same.I've seen some answers here about porting and making 2 exact setups and transfering the difference from one to the other but I'm really confused on how to solve this problem. Can anyone help me out?Regards,Rupert

The net effect of this bug is that the reference code (including the Templates for LRUN and XIP) never actually enable the Memory Protection Unit regions.See: stm32h7rsxx_hal_cortex.c Line 532 I believe the second "Disable the Region" should have been an "Enable the Region", and called SET_BIT(MPU->RASR, MPU_RASR_ENABLE_Msk). Without this, the result after a call to HAL_MPU_ConfigRegion is a disabled region, requiring a second call to HAL_MPU_EnableRegion(). Note that there are no calls to this function in the H7RS reference code or templates. As a result, these regions are never enabled.I discovered this issue when a region I marked as non-cachable was being cached despite the region specifically declaring it as NOT_CACHABLE.

Sorry for asking an obvious question...LWIP documentation describes a udp_pcb as "Creates a new UDP pcb which can be used for UDP communication."https://lwip.fandom.com/wiki/Raw/UDPWhen connecting to multiple devices with an IP address each using UDP protocol with LWIP, is it expected that you allocate a udp_pcb struct per connected device? Or try and re-use a single UDP protocol control block. E.g. One Device connecting to 5 other devices:therefore create five udp_pcb objects?or re-use one udp_pcb but send to different IP addresses?  Thanks in advance.

Good morning, there is something i a not understanding well with my board. I need to use 10 GPIO as inputs of button or output. for that i went to the GPIO list, for example, I got GPIO at pin PI4 so I go on the schematics of my board and I see that PI4 is used for the wifi but has also a physical output A2. now, I wanted to get PI5, it is connected to output B2, unfortunately, there is no B2 on my board physically, so I would like to know what is the difference with the other GPIO and how to make sure that my GPIO will be available on my board (other way than just checking all the pins on my board)

HiI have found that the STWINBX1 loses RTC at poweroff (or does CubeMX write code to reset RTC at poweron? there is a ticket on that) so that I have to battery-power it on, connect usb, update RTC and then disconnect while still on in order to log without "2001-01-01 00:01". Its LiPo battery is connected and above 90%Is there a remedy?

Hello, I am interesting about CAN FD options on ST MCUs. I was working on standard CAN on STM32F103 in past and there was possible to define list of filter addresses for 28 STD addresses or 14 EXT addresses. If I've read correctly reference manuals for MCUs with CAN-FD there is usually 28 filter banks for STD addresses but only 8 filter banks for EXT addresses. Exist there some MCU type where is possible to set more as 8 filtered addresses for CAN-FD EXT addresses?  I need to set list of, at least 10, CAN FD extended addresses (but not a range of them) and I don't know if there exist a solution for this on some MCU. If there exist this kind of MCU, can you recommend a development board for this? Thank for answer in advance. p..s. usualy in documentation for CAN FD part is written:"FDCAN extended message ID filter elementUp to eight filter elements can be configured for 29-bit extended IDs. When accessing anextended message ID filter element, its address is the filter lis

Sorry for the newbie noise, but the website under Nucleo-H563ZI points me to a Getting Started document, UM1727, that is dated Jan 2016, and appears to no longer match current software tools.  Is there a replacement? My initial goal is to simply rebuild the standard app shipped in the Nucleo, download it, and see the same LED blinking, then add from there.Thank you, Chris

Is anyone familiar with communication between stm32 and sim868 gms/gprs/gnss module? I currently have a custom PCB  that has an stm32f103ret6 and sim868 module that are connected via uart. My project setup has uart4 set as Tx and Rx between the two devices. However when I send a simple "AT" command, I get no response from the module even though I am expecting an "OK" response. I have tripled checked all hardware connections and everything is connected as it should be at the right voltage level as well. For context the gsm module GPIOs operate at 2.8v whiles the stm32 gpio is at 3.3v. I have the right voltage divider setup to convert 3.3v - 2.8v and when meaured with the multimeter I get exactly that. Here is the setup of my code. I have been in contact with the manufacturers of the gsm module and after inspecting my custom board, they said everything was fine and perhaps the issue lies with my uart HAL. This is my first bout with any stm32 mcu and I would appreciate a nudge in the

Hello, I am trying to use STM32CubeProgrammer with a J Link interface to program a STM32G473 MCU.But CubeProgrammer seems to be stuck while programming.I can read the MCU flash, erase it, but not program.I tried with another MCU (STM32G0B1) and it works with that one.But I can't with G473...I am using the latest CubeProgrammer version 2.17.0 for Windows 64-bit and the latest J Link tools (8.10).Is there a bug in CubeProgrammer? Do I need to do something more to program a G473? Thanks for your help

Hi,We are using STM32_Programmer_CLI on windows and linux.I noticed that since version 2.16 following commands fails:STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=SWD freq=8000 sn=x mode=UR -e ed1 & ed2with:Error: The erase command you trying to perform is missing some arguments. Please refer to the Help to see how to use it. It worked fine on version 2.15. I've looked into any api changes for newer version in release notes but I couldn't find any relevant changes that could affect this behavior. For me, it looks like this is potential bug/regression. Let me know if me guess is correct or we need to adjust params added to command.Thx
