Solved

Posted on April 21, 2014 at 05:45 Hi Everyone, I'm using the CR95HF to access the DESFire card. Everything was going fine up to RATS and PPS. However when I tried to send the GetVersion Desfire command (0x60) using the Half-duplex block transmission protocol with PCB, CID, INF...  as below:   0x04, 0x04, 0x0A, 0x00, 0x60, 0x28 header, len, PCB, CID,   INF,    control byte   I only received 0x87 0x00. The same happened with Authenticate (0x0A 0x00) command. So I think I it must be something wrong with the EDC (CRC) code.   Could anybody shed some light on this?   --------------------------------------------------   Edited: According to the datasheet, the CR95HF only supports 14443-3 not 14443-4, is that correct?   #desfire #cr95hf

Hello everyone:         I encountered a problem when importing the ONNX model and using the X CUDE AI tool for analysis. I have tried many solutions but couldn't solve it. I hope someone here can help me. The specific problem is as follows:      ST Edge AI Core v1.0.0-19894      NOT IMPLEMENTED: Only step=1 is supported for each axis: [2]        This is a problem that occurred after adding the SPDConv module to the YOLOv5 model. Before that, the model could be imported and analyzed smoothly.

Hi, I'm making a board for UART and I2C communication. Please refer to the schematic below;  I put 5V External power supply at VBUS,and connects SWDIO, SWCLK, NRST, 3V3, GND to the STLINK V3 Minie. However it shows "No STM32 target found" message on STM32CubeProgrammer when I clicked "Connect" button.Since the "Target voltage" shows 3.31V, I think there is no power problem. Is there something that I missing? Please let me know.Thank you.

Hi,I'm adapting the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q template "Template_FSBL_LRUN" to boot a tested application from the QSPIUnfourtunately, as soon as the binary becomes larger than 64kB and uses a second sector, the application will not boot anymore.I can reproduce this by adding a large printf statement to push the binary over the 64kB boundary or by changing the optimization level to either favor binary size or speed and thereby affecting the binary size. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for every advice!

Moved from the MPUs forum - H7 is an MCUWe are planning to use an STM32H745 in a high-temperature QSPI-Application with a custom QSPI device. This custom device only supports SPI Mode 1, i.e. CPOL = 0, CPHA = 1.From the STM32 QSPI Documentation and reference manual and as told by @TDK it looks like only Mode 0 (0/0) and Mode 3 (1/1) are possible with QSPI.CubeMX also only offers Clockmodes "low" and "high", the corresponding tool tips are "QPSI_CLOCK_MODE0/3""Sample shifting" also only applies to incoming data according to the documentation, i.e. it will not change the CPHA.So my question is: Is there still a (low-level/hack) way to get SPI Mode 1 working on an STM32H745?

I am working on ism330dlc to find gyroscope x, y, and z values. I am getting x, y, and z values. I am also getting variable x, y, and z values when the board is maintained constant. I wrote registers are 0x1204,0x1160,0x1060,0X22,0X23,0X24,0X25,0X26, and 0X27. Pleas

Hi, I'm going crazy over here because the stm32cubeIDE closes itself a few seconds after loading. Literally, I double-click on the icon, the program comes up, and sometimes after 5, 10, or 20 seconds, it closes itself. After cloasing a small window appears, I attach a picture of it. I have uninstalled all ST software I had on my PC, installed it again, installed the last versions and previous versions, updated to the last version of Win 10, but nothing works. Cube MX works fine, but the only issue is with this software. I have used the IDE on my PC for more than 3 years now with no issue. I searched for a log file with no luck, Does anybody know where it hides? Is there a log file?Any help will be appreciated.

Hello I have answer in other post that shows  a solution but it didn't work, I am looking for a different or better solution than uninstalling and erasing the keys of the registers. I have copied repository and workspace folders from an older computer that the IDE works normally. I don't know if that can be the problem.I am adding few LOGs I got.

HiI have STM32MP157F-DK2 board and I am following StarterPackage Wiki document.(https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/index.php/STM32MP15_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_Package) I am following wiki and my STM32MP157F-DK2 board is not entering DFU mode. Here are the steps I tried to enter DFU mode. DeepSwitch is set to off and I am using 5V 3A charger for power. I connected OTG cable and inserted microSD into slot, turned on power and pressed Reset button. However, when I execute 'STM32_Programmer_CLI -l usb' command on PC, only 'No STM32 device in DFU mode connected' response is returned. What did I miss? I tested it on Windows PC and Ubuntu 20.04 PC respectively. Any help is very appreciated, thank you,

Originally a reply to this, but is a separate discussion.I've been playing with build configurations, working set, etc, for a while.I know it's Eclipse and CDT's fault, not STM's. But it's SOOOOOOOO confusing, and there must be a solution. So far, I've created "things", mostly empty, useless "things" : Build Targets, Working Sets, etc. None cause a build to behave as expected.Which is : having multiple "thing" "target" "thingies", each one using its own linker script (and why not, later at some point, specific .h/.c files). And being able to build one, or another, to get different FWs, each one using its own FLASH ORIGIN settings. Better even would be : one build, multiple FWs, each one in its own folder using its own linker script. What's behind : OTA. As far as I understood, the linker script is the only place where a FW get its boot address. So far, when I build a FW #2, flash it in the second flash bank, the MCU boots the FW #1 from the first flash bank as long as the linker script

Dear ST community I would like to use STDRIVE 101 similar to STEVAL-POOL4A board (s. schematic above). But to reduce number of PWM pins used I'd like to pull all the ENx pins to VDD (e.g. +3.3V) and drive only INx's pins by an advanced timer. According to "DS13472 - Rev 2" and "Table 8" on page 17 it shall be feasible. Could you confirm? What would be possible disadvantages of 3 PWM design regarding 6 PWM design?

Hi, I'm using STM32CubeMX 6.13.0 and MCU STM32H753VITx.When initializing the SDMMC1, I am missing the call to function HAL_SD_Init.  void MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SDMMC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END SDMMC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN SDMMC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END SDMMC1_Init 1 */ hsd1.Instance = SDMMC1; hsd1.Init.ClockEdge = SDMMC_CLOCK_EDGE_RISING; hsd1.Init.ClockPowerSave = SDMMC_CLOCK_POWER_SAVE_DISABLE; hsd1.Init.BusWide = SDMMC_BUS_WIDE_4B; hsd1.Init.HardwareFlowControl = SDMMC_HARDWARE_FLOW_CONTROL_DISABLE; hsd1.Init.ClockDiv = 3; /* USER CODE BEGIN SDMMC1_Init 2 */ /* USER CODE END SDMMC1_Init 2 */ }   Is it a bug? I expected someting like:  void MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SDMMC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END SDMMC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN SDMMC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END SDMMC1_Init 1 */ hsd1.Instance = SDMMC1; hsd1.Init.ClockEdge = SDMMC_CLOCK_EDGE_RISING; hsd1.Init

Hello,I am curious whether there are any power sequencing requirements for the Teseo-LIV3R.  I didn't see any in the datasheet.  In particular:Will the module work correctly if VBAT is open-circuited, while VCC & VCCIO are supplied?  Obviously it won't retain time or ephemeris in this configuration, but will it even work at all?  Basically, is the internal 32k clock supplied by VCC OR VBAT, or only from VBAT?Would it cause any hardware problem to leave VCC up and VCCIO down for an indefinite period or time, or vice versa? What would the power draw be if, say, VCCIO was up but VCC was down? Thanks!

Hi ST team,I'm developing the device which is using VL6180. Sometimes ToF(VL6180) is not recognized the object. And sometimes it is not recognized first and then becomes recognized again. But I don't know why this happened. I'm trying to find the reason but kept failing. My question's are..1. Could this phenomenon(1. not recognized 2. not recognized first and then becomes recognized again) occur when repeatedly recognizing a very short distance (<10mm) due to drift? According to the datasheet, drift is affected by temperature and voltage. But there is no mention about repeated recognizing. That's why I'm asking.2. Or is there something suspicious that could be causing this phenomenon?- In terms of hardware, software, and mechanical aspects Thank you

I faced with an interesting issue. Here is the code:1. Working: void GameScreenPresenter::activate() { IScreen* scr = &view; scr->Func(); } 2. Doesn't work: void GameScreenPresenter::activate() { void* ptr = &view; IScreen* scr = static_cast<IScreen*>(ptr); scr->Func(); } Seems like in the second option scr just nullptr. Why?

Hi,I would like the DC/DC converter of STKNX to make 5V.Also, I want the Linear regulator to make 3.3VBecause of global efficiency, I wanted to power the linear regulator with the 5V output of DC/DC converter.I'm surprised that the datasheet specifies VDD_REGIN minimum voltage 6.8V, if VCC_SEL is shorted to ground (in order to make 3.3V linear regulator output).Same for VDD_REGIN minimum voltage specified 8.5V, if VCC_SEL is shorted to VCC_Core (in order to make 5V linear regulator output). This makes 3.5V voltage dropout, which seems pretty much to me. Question: Is there a typography error in Datasheet? Or is the dropout of internal regulator as much as 3.5V ? Many thanks,   Alexandre

Hi I am using STM32G030K8.      as there is no TRNG options I am doing the ADC noise values to generate a 8 bit number.The MCU is supplied with 2.2V supply .I am using both mains and battery for my operation.However if battery is  removed Im not getting the ramndom number with mains supply .Can you please help this out void ADC_seed() { HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); seed = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); srand(seed); } uint32_t generate8DigitRandomNumber(void) { ADC_seed(); } serialNumber = (rand() % 90000000) + 10000000; }

Hello,Where can I find documentation on the error counters of the FDCAN_ErrorCountersTypeDef structure? I would be particularly interested in how the incrementation of TxErrorCnt behaves if hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE; (How often does the CAN peripheral attempt to transmit in the event of an error (e.g. no other node attached) and by how much is the TxErrorCnt incremented per transmission attempt?) I'm using STM32H755ZIMany thanks for any clarification

Hello, I have a STM32WB55RE connected to a CAN bus.  I'm receiving the CAN data via the Main function using polling.  When a message is received (250K Baud Rate) I want to forward that data to the BLE stack so I can send it to another STM32WB55RE.  I'm currently using the sequencer to manage all the BLE tasks.  There doesn't seem to be any queue or semaphore that I can use with the sequencer. Is there a preferred method to CAN bus data from the Main loop to a task running within the sequencer?Kindest regards.

Hello,I am new to the STM environment and need to test if one M7 core is sufficient for my project. I need to use Ethernet (simple GET, POST, and PATCH requests), an LCD touch panel, and a peripheral that requires EXTI interrupts approximately every 10ms.I believe it would be better to use FreeRTOS in order to manage the different tasks. I am wondering which option is the least time-consuming and most reliable: using FreeRTOS with its own TCP stack, or using FreeRTOS with LWIP.I am using an STM32H745-DISCO and plan to use only the M7 core. If it is not enough for my application, I will test with both cores.Does my reasoning make sense? Can someone give me some advice? Thanks, best regards.
