I am porting the ST25R3911B NFC module library to work with the Quectel EC200U 4G module in the Helios SDK. While I have successfully achieved rfalNfcInitialize and rfalFieldOnAndStartGT, I am facing issues when running the NFC-A polling code. The execution gets stuck inside the while loop mentioned in the callback of the ISR.Observed Behavior:The module sometimes gets stuck in the ISR loop, with the interrupt pin remaining high even when no NFC-A card is near.Occasionally, instead of getting stuck, it throws RFAL_ERR_IO.In rare cases, it does not throw any error but gets stuck as soon as an NFC-A card is brought near.ST25R_SELFTEST_TIMER and ST25R_SELFTEST pass without any errors.Polling Code: while (1) { rfalNfcWorker(); MYLOG("Checking NFC \n"); err = rfalFieldOff(); /* Turn the Field Off */ if(err != RFAL_ERR_NONE){ MYLOG("Error in rfalFieldOff: %d\n", err); } platformDelay(500); err = rfalNfcaPollerInitialize(); /* Initialize RFAL for NFC-A */ if(err != RFAL_E

Hello,I am using the Nucleo-STM32F411RE development board and X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 NFC module, particularly NFC Tag read/write from Android Phone for my development use cases. To achieve this, I downloaded the X-CUBE-NFC6 package as it was mentioned in the product brief. However, I could not find any example projects specifically for the STM32F4 series.I also attempted to modify examples from other STM32 series, but I encountered faults and was unable to successfully run the code.Could anyone provide a working example for the STM32F4 series, or share a step-by-step user guide? As I am new to STM32 MCU boards, this has been quite time-consuming, and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your help!Best regards,Akash M

Hi everyone, I have purchased a STMicroelectronics STEVAL-CTM015V1 drive. How can I find its default firmware code (Current chopping control for switched reluctance motor) in  STM32CubeIDE workspace? I would like to get connected with the people already working with this product. Thank you, Regards

I use cubemx generate a project with uart5. It's ok.But when I move some init codes of uart5 to function ``void SystemInit (void)`` tail as below```MPU_Config();HAL_Init();SystemClock_Config();PeriphCommonClock_Config();MX_UART5_Init();dbg_console_tx5("ABC21", 5);``` when I debug with cmsis-dap debugger I found the code stuck with besides the function ``dbg_console_tx5`` is ``` void dbg_console_tx5(const uint8_t *pData, uint16_t Size){HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart5, pData, Size, -1);}``` is there any tips of this issue ?

I have implemented AES encryption / decryption on a STM32WB55 using keys stored in FUS. However, I'm running into a problem when I try to encrypt or decrypt using a non-FUS key. I get a hardfault when the key is written to the registers. Which I assume is because the FUS user key is still loaded. AN5185 defines the command FUS_UNLOAD_USR_KEY but there is no corresponding implementation in shci.h/shci.c. I implemented my own version of SHCI_C2_FUS_UnLoadUsrKey using SHCI_C2_FUS_LoadUsrKey as an example. But CPU2 is saying that is an unknown command. What is the process to unload a key that is stored in FUS and / or use the CRYP peripheral with a non-FUS key after previously loading a key into it from FUS?

I'm migrating a project from STM32G431KB to STM32G431CBT6. Both projects were generated using STM32CubeMX and are developed in Keil (MDK ARM), so I only transferred the user code. However when debugging code on the new chip, random breakpoint commands in the disassembly window appear (not the user-defined red dots, but the BKPT mnemonic specifically). It's always first 3 times between _sys_open and _sys_close, then one time between _sys_istty and_sys_seek and another one between _sys_write, _sys_read, then my program runs normally. I tried a full chip wipe, code regeneration, code rebuilds all without any luck. I'm guessing there might be a setting I forgot somewhere that could cause this or a library from CubeMX, but so far I haven't been able to figure out what it could be.The CubeMX software packs I use:Selected features:

Hello !Hope you're all doing well.I have a little problem here, my CAN BUS Tx is not working on "Normal Mode"I have a bus with several nodes communicating between them without any problem, so the bus itself is not the problemIn "Loopback mode" it works wellIn "Normal Mode", the Rx works but the Tx doesn'tI used an stm32F429 and an stm32F103, and the problem is the same in both MCUsI also tried different CAN transceivers, same problemAny idea why it behaves like this?Thank you :D

Hi, I am trying to find the Part Marking for M24C08-RDW6TP.Is there any datasheet for it? I already reviewed the datasheet but there is no any note for it. Thanks in advance.

Hello, @Andrea VITALI,After using the WESU board (https://community.st.com/t5/mems-sensors/lsm6ds3-lis3mdl-calibration/td-p/762534)we decided to move forward with the sensor tile box PRO. We want to record human activity recognition and pedometer information in the SD card, with a timestamp. We managed to record HAR and pedometer information separetly, on BLE or in a SD card file, but :* If we add the RTC value (for timestamp) to the HAR example, we got the message FLOW_COMPATIBILITY_ERROR* If we enable pedometer, adding gyroscope and accelerometer (60Hz, same as HAR example) in input, add HAR in function, there is no data in the SD card (only header in the csv file), and no updates in Bluetooth (event when SD_Log is updated in log status)Is it possible to get timestamped HAR + pedometer data in a SD card file ?Bonus : if We can also log raw data (ACC, GYR, MAG + BARO) at 240, 100 and 1Hz, that's will great. For now, we can't use this eval board for our need.PS :&nb

Hello STM32 Community,I’m currently working with an STM32WB05KZV6TR microcontroller and am facing issues after adding the STM32_BLE to my project. I initially configured a BLE peripheral using STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE, and after code is generated, it does not compile. it looks like it can't find the .s filehere are some of the errors:  C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.16.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.1.0.202410251130/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: warning: C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.16.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.1.0.202410251130/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/12.3.1/thumb/v6-m/nofp/crtn.o: missing .note.GNU-stack section implies executable stack C:/ST/STM32CubeIDE_1.16.1/STM32CubeIDE/plugins/com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.12.3.rel1.win32_1.1.0.202410251130/tools/b

Hello!I am using ST25R3916 (X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1) and RFAL Library V3.0.1. When working with STM32L4RGT3 (NUCLEO-L476RG) everything works fine, but if I use STM32L053R8 (NUCLEO-L053R8) functions rfalNfcaPollerFullCollisionResolution() and rfalISO14443ATransceiveAnticollisionFrame() regardless of MCU frequency and stack size settings all the time return RFAL_ERR_FRAMING error. What could be the reason for this behavior depending on the MCU?STM32L053R8 (NUCLEO-L053R8) together with ST25R3911 (X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1) works fine, but when connected to ST25R3916 (X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1) it gives this error..Best regards, Rob.

Hello! We are developing with the sensor IIS3DWB. I am able to interface it by spi like mentioned in st's github example, and I'm able to use st's platform independend c-drivers. It works fine, I get Acceleration, Temperature, device-ID...In that example the SPI is used in blocking mode and the NSS pin is set by software. Now I want to drive the SPI (with st's SPI-HAL) in non-blocking mode, and I want to drive the NSS-Pin by hardware. Refering the sensor's data sheet, it seems that I need to configure the SPI with CPOL high (CPOL-bit =1), and CPHA to second clock phase (CPHA-bit = 1). But the MCU's reference manual (RM0394, page 1326) says, that the NSS-Hardware-Output-Mode requires clock-pahse-configuration CPHA-Bit==0 (=first clock edge). Is there any way to bring it to work? (If that helps: The sensor will be the only spi device connected to the mcu)Does the sensor accept any other spi setup which is compatible to the MCU when the MCU generates the NSS by hardware? Is there any furth

We have a project where we're using a U5A5 MCU with trustzone enabled and we're currently trying to figure out how to flash without having to use the SAM card. I downloaded the example from ST and am trying to run through the  B-U585I-IOT02A TFM example application on my NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q development board. Running unmodified, I am able to build all three projects (appli, loader, boot) and the regression.sh run without errors, the TFM_Update.sh script runs without errors, but when I connect to the terminal, I get the following repeating pattern. I've already tried pressing the reset button as well as removing and putting back the IDD jumper. Any help would be appreciated!

Is there an alternative to platformTimer functions? I started with 6 timers and am currently at 32, Somehow eventually it uses up all the timers and stops working. It seems like the timers are not destroyed when the NFC is deactivated.Below is my application, Please suggest to me if there is a better way to implement thisEnvironment:MCU: PSOC6RTOS: FreeRTOSTransceiver: ST25R3916BCommunication: SPITimers: Timers are using FreeRTOS timers. My application at a high level:Wait for the trigger to start NFC discovery scansOn trigger, Poweron and Initialize ST25R3916B -  rfalNfcInitializStart NFC discovery scan for ~1sec - rfalNfcDiscoverif anything is discovered communicate using T4 commands - rfalNfcIsDevActivated, rfalNfcDataExchangeStartwait for 100msecStop discovery and deinitialize - rfalNfcDeactivate, rfalDeinitializerepeat these steps 5 timesPower off ST25R3916BGo back to sleep to wait for next triggerMy current implementation is based

This appears to be loosely related tohttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/warning-during-stm3cubemx-setting-in-usb-host-on-platform/m-p/194919#M8793If I start with Cube IDE:File -> New -> STM32 Project then select NUCLEO-C071RB and then Ux_Host_HID_Standaloneall goes swimmingly well.  However, if I start with CubeMX, then choose the same example I get errors:I can make the Platform Settings error go away by assigning a GPIO to who knows what, per the related post, but I don't want to waste a GPIO and furthermore, I want to make changes to the project that I cannot do using the IDE-only method. Is there some other setting I'm missing in the CubeMX example creation?

Hi, I am using the STM32WB5MMG MCU, and I would like to know the current consumption of CPU1 and CPU2 while Bluetooth is in General Discovery mode (scanning) and Advertising. Additionally, are there any methods to reduce the current consumption of CPU2? For example, would reducing the TX power level during advertising or scanning help decrease power consumption? Thanks,Sainath D

Hi, I am using an STM32G0B1CT6 and generated code using the STM32CubeMX to use the USB Host library to interface the CP2112 device. I am able to enumerate and communicate with the device using the interrupt IN/OUT. I am also able to get reports using the USBH_HID_GetReport function. But when I try to set some SMBUS configurations using the USBH_HID_SetReport function, it doesn't work (I'm checking this by reading back the configurations). Additionally, I see that the USBH_HID_SetReport function takes a reportType as argument appart from the reportID. What is the reportType? as a side note, according to AN495 of the CP2112, the configuration I am trying to set should be transmitted as a Feature request with a report ID of 0x06. Any ideas why this function may not work? Thanks

Hello everyone,I have designed a custom board using the STM32F407VGT6, and I have connected a 3V coin cell battery (CR2032) to the V_BAT pin as shown in the schematic below:V_BAT Circuit Details:A 3V battery is directly connected to the V_BAT pin.A 0.1µF capacitor (C14) is placed across V_BAT and GND.V_BAT is connected directly to the STM32.However, I am facing an issue where I do not measure any voltage at the V_BAT pin on my board. It seems like the battery is not supplying power to the backup domain. Why am I not getting voltage on the V_BAT pin?Are there any hardware design issues with my schematic? Is there any special configuration required in firmware to enable the backup domain power?I have attached my schematic for reference.

I'm using ADC regular and injected channels in STM32G4. I need different oversampling ratio for regular and injected channels, in STM32CubeMX it's possible to configure the oversampling ratio independently for regular and injection channels, but when I took a look at the generated code I saw that the same function has been called for oversampling configuration. It seems like the second function call is overriding the first configuration. Also I've checked on oscilloscope to measure both channels acquisition times. When I'm modifying the parameters of the first function call (which is the oversampling ratio of the regular channels), I see no changes in acquisition time of the regular channels, it's just following the parameters of the second call (injected channels oversampling ratio).I have 2 questions:Why we have configurations for oversampling ratio of both channels in STM32CubeMX, when it's not possible to control them independently? Is there a way to have different ratios other than

if we don't make a full erase, this error comes up.I hoped it would disappear with V2.18

Hi, I am trying to implement a LoRa endnote skeleton on my STM32WL55CCU. I have tried a lot of different ways of generating the project but I always run into errors. I think its due to the way the code generates because the structure doesn't resemble at all the LoRa endnote Example from the nucleo wl55jc1. I also ran into a lot of problems generating the LoRa endnote Example, it can only be done through the IDE if you use MX it doesn't work. So my question is there somewhere a STM32WL55CCU LoRa endnote skeleton I can download and start modifying or what am I doing wrong ?  Thank you in advanced for your reply :) Seppe Budenaers

Hello everyone,I'm current creating my first STM32 design using STM32F411 and have a need for the USB function on the MCU. The datasheet states that it requires a 48 MHz clock generated by a PLL connected to the HSE oscillator. And I've currently chosen the CSTNE8M00G520000R0 ceramic resonator by muRata with built in capacitors for HSE.Now with my understanding of an2867, I need to calculate the external resistor value based on ESR for crystal based designs.Based on this post, it seems that ceramic resonator require external resistor, too. However, I couldn't seem to find the ESR or maximum DL value on the webpage or datasheet of the ceramic resonator. So my question is if I need an external resistor, and if so, what value should be? Sorry if I'm not clear enough and thanks in advance.

Hi, I am using STM32G0B1CBTX and used the STM32CubeMX to configure USB host with CDC class. When connecting a CDC device, I noticed that it passes the enumeration and configuration but fails to find the interface used. More specifically, it fails the functioninterface = USBH_FindInterface(phost, COMMUNICATION_INTERFACE_CLASS_CODE, ABSTRACT_CONTROL_MODEL, COMMON_AT_COMMAND);at line 158 of the usbh_cdc.c file. Upon deeper inspection, I noticed that the protocol value passed to this function using the macro COMMON_AT_COMMAND is set to 1 while the two interface descriptors I receive from the device both have their interface protocol set to 0. If I manually edit this and use the  NO_CLASS_SPECIFIC_PROTOCOL_CODE macro (value = 0), everything works correctly and I can send and receive data. This part of the library should be fixed and no user editing should be needed. So my question is, is their something wrong with the device's descriptors or can the first call to the&nbs
