Hi everybody, I'm designing a TP-PFC and I'm going to use MasterGaN1L for the first time to reduce the bill of materials. Does anybody have any information about this chip's simulation model?

Hello! A simple question. If I run DAC, using HAL_ADCEx_MultiModeStart_DMA(..., buffer, ...), when D-cache is disabled, I succeed to send what I filled in the buffer. If I do the same with enabled D-cache, I don't succeed. SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr() function, which is useful in ADC callbacks, seems to be not helpful for DAC. How to fix that?

I'm using stm32u5f7vjt MCU with touch gfx designer for 5" Touch display. So I'm getting some error during adding image in touchgfx Designer not any issue its generated the but when i build my main code its generated error likes TouchGFX_Framebuffer will not fit in region 'FLASH', makefile error and region overflowed by 134688 bytes. how to solve this error?Description Resource Path Location Type5INCH_TFT.elf section `TouchGFX_Framebuffer' will not fit in region `FLASH' 5INCH_TFT C/C++ ProblemDescription Resource Path Location Typemake: *** [makefile:121: 5INCH_TFT.elf] Error 1 5INCH_TFT C/C++ ProblemDescription Resource Path Location Typeregion `FLASH' overflowed by 134688 bytes 5INCH_TFT C/C++ Problem

Hello ,I have used the below to go into stop mode:  HAL_PWR_EnterSTOPMode( PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI ); /* CPU will be halted here until a wakeup event occurs */ in  the above function, what is the difference PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI  & PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI as parameter?

I need to add the BSP libraries for the STM32H735G-DK board to enable display functionality. I have downloaded the STM32CubeH7 package and navigated to the Driver folder, where I selected my board and found the necessary BSP libraries. However, when I open STM32CubeIDE, go to Project Properties → C/C++ General, and attempt to add the BSP folder path, the IDE does not recognize the libraries. Instead, I only see the _htmresc file within the folder. Normally, when I open the directory manually, the libraries are present, but they do not appear within the IDE.

Hello So, I want to generate a test application, but I cannot load these on my board. Does that problem is normally because we never can upload a test application or what is the Problem here, I also added some parts to the Test application, but I can still not load up. I think I am a little bit stuck right now. Maybe one can help me. Thanks! ( I am useing the TouchGFX Designer 4.24.0)

Hi Community,I have a project on STM32H755 Nucleo using a simple small LCD. Now I want to add a Riverdi display, RVT50AQFFWC00, which uses the FT813 EVE.I'm not very clear how best to start. From what I've found it seems that there's no driver for this display in the BSP for H755 and the best-looking driver that I've come across is Rudolph Riedel's (https://github.com/RudolphRiedel/FT800-FT813).Should I start by adding TouchGFX to my project via Middleware config in CubeIDE, drop Rudoph's driver into the project, then go to TouchGFX?  But then how to proceed, since I only see options in TouchGFX to use some pre-defined configurations that include H755 and similar displays, but there isn't one matching my exact configuration? If I use the simulator that's OK, but then how do I run on my target?Maybe I should instead start in TouchGFX and perhaps that allows me to pull the required driver in to my project and update my project with it?These probably seem like silly questions but any

Hi Team,I would like to know which MCU has the highest UART interrupt priority. Thanks & Regards,Anbu

hello,In my program I have some screens and I switch between screens by programaticily. If a button pressed below code switches screenvoid Screen1_View::changeScreenToScreen2(){ static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoScreen_Screen2CoverTransitionSouth(); }This code works fine but I want to change cover time too. Is it possible to change screen transition time ? Is it fixed ?

I’m running MEMS Studio 1.4.2 on Win 10, 64 bit latest version. And trying three different Nucleo boards:Nucleo-C031C6Nucleo-64-STM32L476Nucleo-64-STM32F303MEMS Studio will not recognize any of these three Nucleo boards, with or without the MEMS inertial  and environmental expansion board plugged in - X-Nucleo-IKS01A3. I have also tried plugging a DIL24 adapter into the expansion board - no effect.Any suggestions on what I’m missing?

Hi, I'm creating Boot sw & App sw in one board. which means, 2 independent STM32 Proj. runs in same Flash / RAM. There is an issue when HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq() has been called. The first called sw, boot sw, doesn't make any trouble. but the second one, app sw which is jumped in by boot sw, make trouble when do [vmov s15, r3] assembly code. I've already checked Memory Map, Flash.ld, Vector ... etc. So obviously, there is no problem until [vmov s15, r3] will be done by app sw. the first call of [vmov s15, r3] is triggered by [main()] - [SystemClock_Config()] - [HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq()]fracn1 = (float_t)(uint32_t)(pllfracen * ((RCC->PLL1FRACR & RCC_PLL1FRACR_PLL1FRACN) >> \ RCC_PLL1FRACR_PLL1FRACN_Pos)); As result of [vmov s15, r3], MSP has been corrupted. Red box is the Stack Pointer, and Blue box is MSP. So blue box area should not be changed by [vmov s15, r3]. But as you can see, the Return Address has been corrupted after&nb

Hi, I want to download the demo code which was already in the STM32N6570-DK board when I bought it. But I can't find it anywhere. Kindly help me in this matter.

Hi everyoneI wanted to find the datasheet for this chip I found on my Seagate HDD, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Can anyone help?

Hello, I configured the STM32CubeIDE project and codes for the Octo-SPI PSRAM according to the AN5050.  However, the compilation was failed with below messages. The HAL_RCCEx_OCTOSPIDelayConfig is not available in STM32CubeU5 HAL driver. How can I solve this problem? To avoid the compilation error, the DelayBlock_Calibration was removed temporarily. The addressing of Octo-SPI PSRAM has an error at OCTOSOP1_BASE 0x90000000 as below. Why the default base address is not responding? Thanks. arm-none-eabi-gcc "../Core/Src/main.c" -mcpu=cortex-m33 -std=gnu11 -g3 -DDEBUG -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32U5A9xx -c -I../Core/Inc -I../Drivers/STM32U5xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../Drivers/STM32U5xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32U5xx/Include -I../Drivers/CMSIS/Include -O0 -ffunction-sections -fdata-sections -Wall -fstack-usage -fcyclomatic-complexity -MMD -MP -MF"Core/Src/main.d" -MT"Core/Src/main.o" --specs=nano.specs -mfpu=fpv5-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=hard -mthumb -o "Core

Hi,in this touchGFX documentation page ( MIPI-DSI Video Mode | TouchGFX Documentation ) under the "DSIHOST / LTDC Initialization sequence" section it says:"The call to MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init() must be done before MX_LTDC_Init(). This should be handled by STM32CubeMX. If this is not correct, take care to fix the order in a user code section." But this is the CubeMX generated code where it calls MX_LTDC_Init() before MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init():   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LTDC_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_OCTOSPI1_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_TIM1_Init(); MX_TIM8_Init(); MX_UART5_Init(); MX_ICACHE_Init(); MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init(); MX_CRC_Init(); MX_I2C4_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ /* USER CODE END 2 */  It looks like MX is generating it incorrectly... And swapping those lines every single time you change something in MX would be an insanely annoying thing to have to do (not to mention all sorts of other poten

Dear All,Recently I am learning STM32H503CBU6, but I find the external interrupt doesn't work with HAL library. I want to get reference from official example code, I only find external interrupt example code with LL library in official SDK. I think STM32H5x HAL should support external interrupt. My code and CUBEMX setting showed as below. Could you kindly help advise about this problem? Thanks for your help so much!Best regards,Gerald

Hi! I'm using an STM32F401RET6 and was planning on using both USART1 in Asynchronous mode and USB_OTG_FS peripherals. In STM32CubeIDE when they are configured at the same time there is an error. I've tried PA9/10 and PB6/7 for TX/RX for USART1 but the same warning/error shows. I wonder if there is some pin configuration interference that it isn't showing or if maybe some interference with the boot modes (Section 3.12 of DS9716).Can I use USART1 and and USB_OTG_FS at the same time?

Hi, Not sure if this is an issue or if I'm missing something.Shouldn't the processors reset-pin be pinned by default even though it allows for alternative functions?Maybe this is a non issue, but I feel like the reset pin is somewhat critical.

I'm looking for a comparison between STM32F2/F4 and STM32H5 to facilitate the migration: timers, important information.Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,I am currently working with an STM32G071. It receives data over the SPI in slave mode. The data is packet based, each currently has 4 bytes, but that will differ in the future. A single chip select sequence may contain multiple packets, but a single packet is never split over multiple CS.The SPI is configured to work with the DMA to transfer the 4 bytes of a packet and I get an interrupt from the DMA once finished. Everything works as expected. However, I would like to make sure that the receiver is robust, even in case of wrong data on the bus, especially not the correct number of bytes. Currently, the DMA will transfer 4 bytes into the RAM, while ignoring the CS. In case there is one byte missing, the DMA will receive the 3 remaining bytes. Although the CS is then deasserted, it will wait for the next transmission to get the last byte. From this point on the data will be shifted by one byte. That is not acceptable for me. I want the DMA to re-sync at some point. As far as I

Hi,I have built a handful  of STM32 designs before and never had a chip fail to connect. I can't seem to get any connection in Cube Programmer at all:VDD,VREF+,VBAT is at 3.3V, VSS is connected to ground.NRST is high at bootI can see current drop from 17mA to 7mA (at 12V) when pulling NRST low , so it seems like MCU is doing something.I originally connected with a JLINK but just bought a STLINKV3 SET with the same result.Using SWD over a tag connecttried every connect option in cube programmer (mode/reset mode)I see SWCLK,SWDIO, and NRST working on an oscilloscope, although I haven't bothered decoding the signals.I confirmed chip orientationI confirmed SWCLK,SWDIO, and NRST pinsI confirmed my STLINK was updatedChecked for shorts under microscopeSchematic:Layout: I am pretty much out of ideas at this point, hoping its something *** I missed and need a second set of eyes :) Any new ideas would be appreciated!

So when I am checking the memory I found some library names etc definition strings on my hex file. I tried to change some setting according to topics above but no success at allPlease let me know which settings is this. Also I am using optimization "Optimize for size -s"RegardsMurat

Hello,I am creating a Bluetooth app on a custom board. I used the same hardware design as the X-NULCEO-IDB05A2 expansion board, but with the sole difference being that the Bluetooth module I'm using is the BLUENRG-M0L instead of the BLUENRG-M0A (which, to my understanding, is just an internal power supply difference and that is it). I used the SensorBLEDemo project as the base for my code, then brought it up on a separate project to ensure it worked as intended (and it does). However, when I ran the same code on my custom board, the BlueNRG initialization code acts strangely. When the function hci_init() is called, it never leaves the function and, seemingly, gets stuck there. I call for the BlueNRG initialization in my main.c. I've attached my initialization code below. I get stuck on Line 29. I'm unsure where to look to diagnose this, since this is a HCI premade code. Can anyone help me diagnose this?void MX_BlueNRG_MS_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SV */   /* USER CODE END S

I am using an STM32G473 with FreeRTOS and am having issues with some interrupts sometimes causing an NMI, making the processor hang in the NMI_Handler (until the watchdog resets it if enabled). The issue occurs sometimes, and I can always eventually trigger it when doing CAN Block Transfers, leading to many CAN Rx interrupts in quick succession. From what I can see in the Call Stack, every single time I detect the issue, the interrupt seems to arrive/trigger when I am inside of a task switch. Example of the call stack:So, here we have a task that has called vTaskDelay. The code pointed to in the delay function is portYIELD_WITHIN_API. My understanding is that this will cause a jump to xPortPendSVHandler. My port of xPortPendSVHandler looks like this: void xPortPendSVHandler( void ) { /* This is a naked function. */ __asm volatile ( " mrs r0, psp \n" " isb \n" " \n" " ldr r3, pxCurrentTCBConst \n"/* Get the location of the current TCB.

I have this board with STM32L4R9 and I used CubeMX and Unico-GUI tools to generate a decision tree for MLC in .ucf format. I used a python script to convert this to C uint8_t array as follows:   const uint8_t lsm6dsox_ucf[] = { 0x10, 0x00, 0x11, 0x00, 0x01, 0x80, 0x05, 0x00, 0x17, 0x40, 0x02, 0x11, ... };In the generated main function I use my function to upload this array to MLC: void lsm6dsox_load_ucf_via_spi() { size_t ucf_size = sizeof(lsm6dsox_ucf) / sizeof(lsm6dsox_ucf[0]); for (size_t i = 0; i < ucf_size; i += 2) { uint8_t reg = lsm6dsox_ucf[i]; // Register address uint8_t value = lsm6dsox_ucf[i + 1]; // Register value lsm6dsox_spi_write(reg, value); HAL_Delay(10); } HAL_Delay(10); }   void lsm6dsox_spi_write(uint8_t reg, uint8_t value) { // The first byte is the register address (with MSB cleared for write). uint8_t tx_data[2] = {reg & 0x7F, value}; // Pull CS low to select the sensor HAL_GPIO_WritePin(CS_LSM6DSOX_GPIO_Port, CS_LSM6DSOX_Pin, GPIO_PIN_R
