HI, this is Ahilesh Krishna, I am using STEVAL - MKBOXPRO module for my project, I am eager to know whether this module has in bag and out bag feature in it. Which means whether this would indicate whether the laptop is inside the bag or outside the bag.

Hi, I have been trying to study how to use the N657X0 Nulceo board. When I tried to test the USART of the board with an FSBL project, there was no print on the serial monitor, and I could not find the reason. Could somebody check what the problem is with my project?  I have attached my projects below.

Hello,Could you please confirm that in LSM6DS, as in ASM330, as in ISM330, the low pass gyroscope filtering LPF2 cannot be bypassed and is only driven by ODR_G (no "enable" flag is available for this filtering stage) ?  Furthermore, the block diagrams in the corresponding datasheets suggest that a single ADC (ADC1) is used to digitize the three axes of the gyroscope. Could you please confirm that digitization is indeed multiplexed in these products ?Thank you by advance for your help.

Background - TouchGFX based HMI application where I want to display JPEGs I am streaming.I have setup the bitmap cache for TouchGFX and can confirm it works as expected with raw RGB565/888 bitmaps.I am trying to integrate the JPEG codec to stream JPEG data instead of the raw bitmaps, to reduce latency.DMA2D is *not* configured to be used by TouchGFX, so that I can use it to convert the output of the JPEG codec to RGB565 format to store in my bitmap cache, that touchGFX draws. Additionally, I have configured my IOC not to generate the DMA2D init function call. For JPEG codec and DMA2D code, I have referred to the H7 example project (JPEG_DecodeFromFlashDMA) provided by ST.When I test with few sample JPEGs, it works as expected and displays accurately, but does not for other samples. It seems to work with CSS 4:2:0 images only, and not with CSS 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 images - It seems to be the JPEG decode works as expected, and the DMA2D transformation(?) is what is causing issues.I have attached

Hi,I have been using Tim11 general purpose timer in Nucleo-f410rb micro controller board to blink an led at a delay of 1 second but there is a deviation of 18 ms in it. which have a 16 bit prescaler and 16 bit auto reload counter with it. In the .ioc file the clock configuration section I have set the clock frequency of the APB2 bus timer clock as 100Mhz which is the maximum frequency can be set and the prescaler value as 9999 and Auto reload register value as 9999. Also the datasheet of the board given stm32f410rb datasheet . and the user manual Stm32f410rb user manual After made the changes in the .ioc file generated code and code is generated for the changes I made and after that i start the timer in the main function like belowint main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /*

I am using NUCLEO-H563ZI and am trying to implement bank swap for firmware update. I am using YMODEM to update firmware. Initially when my code is being executed from BANK 1 and after writing the new firmware at BANK 2. The code execution starts from BANK 2 successfully. But the reverse in not happening. After all the process I checked the address where I am writing the new firmware in BANK 1 and nothing was there which cause hard fault. Therefore, why the process doesn't fail initially when writing firmware at BANK 2 and it fails only when writing at BANK 1 even though the code is same. Below I have attached some files. void SerialDownload(void) { uint8_t number[11] = {0}; uint32_t size = 0; COM_StatusTypeDef result; Serial_PutString((uint8_t *)"\rWaiting for the file to be sent ... (press 'a' to abort)\n\r"); result = Ymodem_Receive( &size ); if (result == COM_OK) { if ((erase_operation==1) && (end_of_download_operation ==0)) { end_of_download_ope

i am using stm32mp135-dk board . i have installed the  STM32MP1-Ecosystem-v5.0.0 Starter Package now i want to install python how i can install ?

I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1 and when i create a new STM32 CMake Project for a STM32U5, the generated ld file contain only half the memory.For example here what is generated in STM32U575ZITXQ_FLASH.ld:MEMORY { RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20040000, LENGTH = 512K /* Memory is divided. Actual start is 0x20000000 and actual length is 768K */ SRAM4 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x28000000, LENGTH = 16K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08100000, LENGTH = 1024K /* Memory is divided. Actual start is 0x08000000 and actual length is 2048K */ }This doesn't happens when creating a classic STM32 project.

Hi all,Following the guide at https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/index.php/How_to_create_your_own_machine, I generated Device Tree .dts files using STM32CubeMX (version 6.14.1) for the STM32MP257F-EV1 board (selected via Board Selector) in a project named demo, aiming to use a custom device tree setup.In CubeMX, I set the project location to:/Distribution-Package/layers/meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp-addons/mx(I manually created the mx folder beforehand.)This resulted in the expected output files being generated under:Distribution-Package/layers/meta-st/meta-st-stm32mp-addons/mx/demo ├── CA35 │ ├── DeviceTree │ │ └── demo │ │ ├── kernel │ │ │ ├── Makefile │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx.dts │ │ │ └── stm32mp257f-demo-mx-resmem.dtsi │ │ ├── optee-os │ │ │ ├── conf.mk │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx.dts │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx-rcc.dtsi │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx-resmem.dtsi │ │ │ └── stm32mp257f-demo-mx-rif.dtsi │ │ ├── tf-a │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx.dts │ │ │ ├── stm32mp257f-demo-mx-fw-conf

Hello  all,I am using IAR Embedded Workbench 8.22.3 and needed to add support for the STM32G4 series (specifically the STM32G431RB). Since this version of IAR does not natively support STM32G4, I followed the official patch installation process.Steps Followed & ObservationsDownloaded & Installed Patch for IARDownloaded STM32G4 patch from ST’s official GitHub/STM32CubeG4 Patch for EWARM.Ran Install_Patch.bat as Administrator → Patch installed successfully.Restarted IAR → STM32G4 series appeared in the device list.Compiled application successfully.Created a new project targeting STM32G431RB.Compilation completed successfully without errors.Download & Debug Issue (Flashing Failure)When trying to Download and Debug, the following error appeared in the IAR Debug Log: Checked the flash loader directory::file_folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench 8.0 EWARM F\S 8.22.3\arm\config\flashloader\ST\Found the following files:FlashSTM32G43xxB.flashFlashST

Hello,I wish to test the IMU LSM6DSV, using STEVAL MKI239A and STEVAL-MKI109V3 Motherboard. In the past I've used Unico-GUI, where I could save to file not only inertial sensors' readings, but also temperature. Moving to MEMS Studio, I can no longer find a checkbox to select recording temperature values as well.Is there a hidden setting that allows that? I did find one can fix the temperature units in the GUI. that hints there might be an ability to read such data.Shmulik

Hello, I use STM32CubeIDE to compile the motor control code. The code runs without problem, when in normal run modes.  To use SWV trace for debug, I do the following:1) complie for debug2) start debug by "Resume"3) stop debug by "Suspend"4) reset the uC by the black button 5) open Motor Pilot and build the connection6) start the motor in speed or torque control mode. And the motor runs as expected. The three phase currents are monitored with current probe. The waves are symetrical and ok.7) keep the Motor Pilot running and the motor running and change to CubeIDE 8) click th red button "Start Trace" in SWV without restart debug by "Resume". Noise is obtained in the measured phase current, even when nothing is tracked, because still not resumed. And the noise disapears clicking on "Start Trace", the red button. Can you understand the noise issue in this case? How to use SWV in parallel to Motor Pilot? Thanks for your support. STM32User

[Inquiry Regarding Large-Scale Library Operation on STM32H7-Based System] MCU: STM32H7 Series (Planned) OS: FreeRTOS Memory Configuration: External SDRAM External Serial Flash (QSPI) Our company is planning to utilize large-scale libraries. Hi, I have STEVAL MKI109D, on it I mounted STEVAL MKI250KA. I would say if I could use QVAR Swipe Electrode mounted on STEVAL MKI250KA for reading Qvar signal. It is possible?

Hello,I need to connect SD card to STM32H5 device. CubeMX does not support fatfs I was using in the past, but only ThreadX and FileX. We decided to use this as STM32H5 seems like a good choice for many future projects. So we connected the SD via SPI.My understanding is that I need to enable Custom interface like this: And than implement several low level functions in FileX/Targer/fx_stm32_custom_driver.c. This looks like this should be common task, but I could find no examples anywhere. Is there something I could use or at least some useful documentation regarding the custom driver?Thank you Jeronym

Can anyone please help with the step by step process for deploying a deep learning model on NUCLEO-H753ZI board using STM32CubeIDE and XCubeAI package...I am not able to do it even after trying multiple times...please help me through this .... using a video or something... as i tried many solutions here...Or i can provide the remote access of my system to you... if it is possible... It is really urgent and needed...

My question is same the title. I know that you have zoo model with custom training script to training or fine tuning based on provided model. But I have a new model, that is trained in other environment, I exported it to ONNX. How can I deploy this model to this board? Thank you.

Hello,I have questions about the STUSB1600:1. Mouser marks the device as "obsolete". What is the EOL of the STUSB1600 and what alternative is recommended (STUSB1700?)?2. The STUSB1600 is connected to the MP1 via I2C. I need to program the NVM "in system" with custom values but did not find / missed the information (in the datasheet) on how to do so. Any Idea (apart from the external programming with this NUCLEO board)?

hi ST team supportI’m using the STM32WB09 to develop my locator tag device application, and I have a few questions:Does the STM32WB SDK support the Google Fast Pair service?Do you have any documentation or example code on how to use Google Fast Pair to create a locator tag device that is compatible with Android’s Find My Device app?

If ADC1 is continous mode, what's the maximum value for R14? I think the higher the R14 the better, but if too high, the ADC1 value may lower than real.

Greetings,In my application i have initialized STM32F205RG with USB High Speed Host for detecting USB Key board and I2C2 for communicating with DS3231 RTC Module. RTC module works prefectly when i don't initialize USB HS peripheral, but when both initialized in the project then I2C2 always sends me HAL_BUSY state. Is there any solution or work around for this problem ? I am using cube mx for code generation and initialiazation. Thanks.

I can c in RM0033 (Rev9) Figure 18, that PA2 is connected with low impedance to a diode to V_DD, if PA2 is configured as analog input...In Doc ID 15818 Rev 9 I see that R_ADC is at least 1.5kR...If I connect PA2 in analog mode directly to 5V: Would I create a high current through that diode to V_DD (in my case 3.3V)? Or would the current be less than 1mA (1.4V/1500)? Google's Gemini and DeepSeek say, that that would damage the ADC or its MUX...In RM0033 (Rev9) Figure 13 it looks like, I can still read the analog value on PA2, if PA2 is configured as digital output (open drain and BSRR|=(1<<2)).Should I connect PA2 via 50kR to the difficult voltage? I cannot use a voltage divider, because that would interfere with the external pull-up resistor at PA2... I try to read CC1 of a USB-C host port... and DeepSeek says, that the USB-C device might possibly decide to connect CC1 to 5V, although I hoped, that the USB-C cable would not allow that...
