Dear Sirs,I am implementing an interface between an STM32H750 and a CanBus device of an electric bike. I have the FDCAN peripheral configured to 250kbit/s (FDCAN clock is 48MHz)I have to interface with devices that use Extended Frames, but the speed is fixed to 250bit/s, so I wanted to use normal mode.First I ninitialize the peripheral as:// Configure TX Header for FDCAN2 CAN_TxHeader.Identifier = 0x03; CAN_TxHeader.IdType = FDCAN_EXTENDED_ID; CAN_TxHeader.TxFrameType = FDCAN_DATA_FRAME; CAN_TxHeader.DataLength = FDCAN_DLC_BYTES_8; CAN_TxHeader.ErrorStateIndicator = FDCAN_ESI_ACTIVE; CAN_TxHeader.BitRateSwitch = FDCAN_BRS_OFF; CAN_TxHeader.FDFormat = FDCAN_FD_CAN; CAN_TxHeader.TxEventFifoControl = FDCAN_NO_TX_EVENTS; CAN_TxHeader.MessageMarker = 0; /* Configure standard ID reception filter to Rx buffer 0 */ CAN_FilterConfig.IdType = FDCAN_EXTENDED_ID; CAN_FilterConfig.FilterIndex = 0; CAN_FilterConfig.FilterType = FDCAN_FILTER_DUAL; CAN_FilterConfig.FilterID2 = 0x0; CAN

I am just starting with STM32CubeMX and X-Cube-AI.  I am reading the documentation "Getting started with X-CUBE-AI Expansion Package for Artificial Intelligence (AI)" and got the point where it says to load a "public Keras HAR model file".  Where do I find this file?

Hello,I am attempting to use an STM32H735G-DK development kit to drive an LCD and eventually use TouchGFX to build a menu for a proof of concept I'm working on.  I was able to very quickly get a working screen using TouchGFX example board setup for this development kit but I want to use a larger LCD in the future with a custom PCB and I've never brought up an LCD panel before so I am following the bring up guide at https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/board-bring-up/board-introduction to make sure I understand all the settings and the process for bringing up the board.  Steps 1 and 2 in the guide go well but step 3 is where it stops working properly where it wants you to set up a frame buffer in internal memory and point the LTDC at this location for what you put there to be displayed.  I am able to get the background color of the entire screen to change and I can see a black box in the upper left corner where I create a small window the size of my framebuf

I cannot run any example on p-nucleo-stm32wb55 board.i only receive this message on debug. Wireless Firmware version 1.22.1Wireless Firmware build 1FUS version 2.0.0>>== SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_READY>>== SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_READY - FUS_FW_RUNNING I updated FUS to 2.0.0 and wireless firmware.

I'm a beginner for MCU developmenet and am developping a product with STM32G071EBY6, and wanna make it support the USART2 to upgrade firmware. But seems needing bootloader customization. But I didnot find where to fetch the sample codes, and also nowhere found some guides. Ask for help!!! Best Regards!

I have a custom board with a STM32H730 and an IS66WVH32M8 HyperRam.The ram is connected on octospi1 outputs.I can read and write in indirect mode to the internal registers of the ram.But in memory mapped mode i read only wrong values.To test the ram I write alternating 0x5555 5555 and 0xAAAA AAAA.When I inspect in the memory view I see always the second byte wrong per word.For example at address 0x7000 0000:AAFFAAAA 55FF5555 AAFEAAAA 55DD5555But when I measure the OCTOSPI on a scope, the data is correct (see attachement) The setup of the OCTOSPI is as follows:Clock speed of the OCTOSPI is 20Mhz with prescaler.OCTOSPIM->PCR[0] = 0x07050333; OCTOSPI2->CR &= ~OCTOSPI_CR_EN; wait_busy(); OCTOSPI2->CR = 0x30000300; OCTOSPI2->DCR1 = 0x4170700; OCTOSPI2->DCR2 = 4; OCTOSPI2->DCR3 = 0x5003F; OCTOSPI2->DCR4 = 0xC8; OCTOSPI2->TCR = 0x10000000; OCTOSPI2->CCR = 0x2C003C00; OCTOSPI2->WCCR = 0x2C003C00; OCTOSPI2->HLCR = 0x010600; wait_busy(); OCTOSPI2->CR

Hi ST Community,I'm currently working on a project using the STM32F429ZI and trying to use the HASH peripheral for SHA1/SHA256 operations. However, I’m facing two issues:HASH peripheral not visible in STM32CubeMX:I expected to find the HASH peripheral under "Cryptography" or similar in the Peripherals tab, but it doesn't appear as an option in the CubeMX interface.I’ve verified that I’m using the latest STM32CubeMX v6.14.1 and firmware package for STM32F4 v1.28.2.I believe HASH support is available for STM32F429ZI and if yes, is there any option to enable it using CubeMX and when I added it manually, facing below issue.2 .Unknown error when using HASH_HandleTypeDef:I manually included the following headers in my code#include "stm32f4xx_hal.h"#include "stm32f4xx_hal_hash.h"When I try to declare, HASH_HandleTypeDef hhash; I get an Error[Pe020]: identifier "HASH_HandleTypeDef" is undefined  during compilation. Hello!Problem: I am using 3 timers in the Encoder function on the Nucleo F767ZI board. The timers are TIM1, TIM2, and TIM3. The encoder function on TIM1 works perfectly. However, the encoder function on TIM2 and TIM3 is not working. They just count up 1 pulse, then down 1 pulse, then up 1 pulse again. What I have done: I checked the physical connection, and they were working fine. I also tried swapping TIM1 and TIM2, and TIM was still working fine, and TIM2 was still not working, so I think there might be some problem with the firmware or when I configure TIM2. The configuration file (.ioc) is attached to this post. Could you please help me with this problem? Thank you very much!

Hi,I'm currently using STM32CubeMX V6.12.0 to initialise the peripherals on an STM32H753 processor, and I had a couple of questions:1. How do I enable & then configure the CAN Transciever Delay Compensation within CubeMX?2. Is there a mechanism for limiting the number of auto-retransmissions in the event of a CAN Error? I currently have that option unchecked but when doing bench-top testing it's clogging up the processor and causing it to run slowly. Many Thanks, Crispin

I'm transmitting a custom packet by the NUCLEO-WL33CC2 and I'm receiving the pachet by a different harware that use the SI4460 tranceiver from Silabs. In the receiver board I receive the pachet, but the byte are completely differents than the byte I sent. Look like as the STM32WL33 have applied a coding, but I do non have applied any coding on the transmetter.This my init code on the trasmetter:static void MX_MRSUBG_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN MRSUBG_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END MRSUBG_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN MRSUBG_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END MRSUBG_Init 1 */ /** Configures the radio parameters */ MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lFrequencyBase = 433920000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.xModulationSelect = MOD_2GFSK1; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lDatarate = 40000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lFreqDev = 25000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.lBandwidth = 100000; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.dsssExp = 0; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.outputPower = 14; MRSUBG_RadioInitStruct.PADrvMode = PA_DRV_TX_HP; HAL_MRSub

HelloI am working on the multi-system in STM32MP257-EV board, I had modified the tsv file to prepare a double system A and B. If using the default metadata.bin file, the A system will be run always. Now I want the B system to be run, I need to modify the metadata.bin file, for example change the "accepted" of B bank to false:If the status of img_0_bank_1 is trial, the B bank system will be run when ev board power up, isn't it?how to modify the metadata.bin? If the status of img_0_bank_1 has been modified to trial, and the B bank system run up normally, is the status of img_0_bank_1 modified automatically by linux? how does the linux system modify the metadata.bin file?

I have spent several weeks trying to add an external loader for a TouchGFX application that is starting to get quite large (>2MB). I have a custom board with STM32H7A3 and am using OCTOSPI interface (in quad mode) to a W25Q128. I found a custom loader project Here that I've slightly modified to work with the MCU. The resulting .stldr loader file works with STM32CubeProgrammer to read write and mass/sector erase the external memory at 0x90000000. Flashing the test project doesn't seem to work (based on UART debug output)A simple demo project in CubeIDE branches to MemManage_Handler fault immediately when trying to memcmp() or memcpy() from 0x90000000 after calling HAL_OSPI_MemoryMapped().Breakpoint in STM32CubeIDE shows that after the HAL_OSPI_MemoryMapped function is called, the data in external flash can be viewed in the Memory Monitor tab. Everything looks good.It seems that the loader is good and the MemoryMapped function is working, so I'm not quite sure what to do at

Hi ,when the SUBGHZ block is in TX mode. if , for example , the COAX cable connected to the board SMA connector is suddenly disconnected during RF TX transmission .what is the maximum allowed input power on the RFO_HP pin when operating in TX mode ? (due to Reflected RF power occurring from the suddenly disconnected cable) thank youviola

I am using Visual Studio Code with the latest "STM32Cube for Visual Studio Code".I use the default launch.json generated by CubeMX and added this to the config to activate the Cortex Live Watch: "liveWatch": { "enabled": true, "samplesPerSecond": 20 }The values in my live watch update really slowly though, around 2 or 3 updates a second. I started CubeIDE with the same project, so exact same code and get very fast updates of my values in the live view there, looks like dozens of updates a second. Is there any way to setup the cortex debugger or GDB server to get similar performances in Visual Studio Code? Thanks,Sebastian

the release version 2.1.1 launches just fine and i have the paths set for mx and finder.pre release 3.4.11 does not launch from key actions

I'm attempting to use iso15693WriteBlock to write blocks of 4 bytes to a ST25DV04K tag. Everything appears to work and I don't get an error. However, when I read back the memory, the first byte of each block has been set to zero, and bytes 1 through 3 contain bytes 0 through 2 of my data. It's like there's an off-by-one error, but without any documentation or source code for the library I have zero chance of working out where. Any ideas appreciated. For completeness, here is the code I'm using to write the block: /// <summary> /// Writes a single block of data to the specified NFC tag using passive communication. The block size is determined by /// the tag's native block size. /// </summary> /// <param name="tag">The NFC tag to which the data will be written. Must be obtained from <see cref="InventoryRequest" />.</param> /// <param name="blockNumber">The block number on the tag where the data will be written.</param> /// <param na

I'm trying to use the DMA engine to drive a GPIO output port, with each update triggered by a timer to achieve a particular waveform. It's trying to run, but I'm getting a TEIF (transfer error flag) and not seeing anything on the GPIO pins. I can't figure out where the problem is.My targets are:1. Target Dest GPIO Port F (all 16 bits)2. TIM4_CH2 (DMA1 -> Channel 2 -> Stream 3). Note that I also have TIM4_CH2 routed to an alternate pin function so I can view the timing, and it is working correctly.3. Data source is Memory/Internal RAM buffer (uint16_t array)Here are my register setups:1) S3NDTR = 0x100 (number of transfers == internal RAM buffer size)2) S3M0AR = 0x200000c0 (address of internal RAM buffer)3) S3PAR = 0x40021414 (GPIO F's ODR register) 4) S3FCR = 0x21 (default reset val, leaving in direct mode)5) S3CR = 0x4032c41Other notes: I'm following the rules and setting up everything before enabling the "EN" bit. I've tried various combinations of fifo/direct mode, and al

This question has already been asked and answered for other STM32 MCU series, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.So, I got a brand-new STM32 Nucleo-H503RB development board to get to know it better before the project based on this MCU starts. And I want to preserve the original firmware on it for further experiments. What I know these days all the software for a particular MCU is packed into the STM32CubeXX series, which includes demo software, but I can't find it in the STM32CubeH5 pack. For example, we have the demonstration for the STM32F0308-Discovery board: STM32CubeF0/Projects/STM32F0308-Discovery/Demonstrations. It does the same thing: when you press the user button, the LED starts to blink faster and faster, and then goes back to the original frequency. So my question is: where can I find the same thing for the STM32 Nucleo-H503RB board?

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to set the steval-mki109d with steval-mki245KA to standalone.I would like to test the ISM330BX what is happening when rotating. Thus I have set up a kit with a battery pack and I can start up the measurement with MEMS studio 2.0. When I just pull out the USB-C connector, I think everything will go on (LEDs keep doing the same thing as when i turned the mems on in MEMS studio). But when I reconnect to MEMS studio the ISM330BX will have to be configured again. Meaning I cannot check the final values after rotating. Is there any way to for example log all the data to a SD card without writing all the code by myself? Or any other way to read out the final value without the processor/MEMS resetting? Thanks!

hi all,     i am designing flyback converter based on the l6566bh. i have 2 outputs on the secondary side, both are separate windings (different ground potential) in transformer. can i short together for shared ground reference if isolation is not necessary.

Hallo erveryone, I'd like to know if it's possible to use a VL53L8CX to distinguish between a human and an object and other non-living objects. I've done a little analysis of the data collected by the sensor, motion indication, distances, intensity of the signal measured. And I've come to the conclusion that a robust distinction between humans and other objects (animals or non-animated objects) isn't really possible with this sensor. My question at this level may therefore seem a bit ***, but would it be possible to make a reasonable distinction with this sensor, and have I perhaps ignored other details that need to be taken into account?

I'm using a single L9963E and it works fine. However, I couldn't start daisy chain connection. When I consider BMS architectures in datasheet, all of them has L9963T transceiver to communicate with further IC. My custom PCB doesn't provide L9963T. So I have two question: 1- Do I really need a transceiver for USE MULTİPLE l9963E slaves ? 2- Can I use the transceiver on EVAL-L9963E-MCU for this purpoeses? Bear in mind, I'm using an external MCU, not built in SPC MCU chip. As I said, I can succesfully communicate single IC and I'm using a cable that has low capacitance. doesn't Lastly, according to datasheet the first node of chain can be one of these:"The daisy chain and dual access ring topologies are based on a chain of BMS evaluation boards. The chain first node can be an AEK-POW-BMSWTX, an AEK-POW-BMSNOTX or an AEK-POW-BMSWTX. The remaining nodes must be all AEK-POW-BMS63EN evaluation boards."As far as I understand also "AEK-POW-BMSNOTX" does not contain L9963T and it

Hi,do the STEVAL-MKI109V3 motherboard support STEVAL-MKI251A daughterboard or do I need the STEVAL-MKI109D Motherboard?STEVAL-MKI109V3 with FW 3.73.9 does not recognize STEVAL-MKI251A in my setup. Other daughterboards work just fine. /Ludvig
