Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a project to detect and decode barcodes. So far, I’ve trained a st_yolox model and successfully deployed it on the board for detection. Now, for the decoding part, I have an algorithm that works perfectly on my PC. I would like to deploy this algorithm on the board and was wondering if it’s possible to use the NPU to accelerate the decoding process.Until now, I’ve only seen examples of deep learning models being accelerated using the NPU. Are there any examples or documentation showing how a general algorithm (non-DL based) can leverage the NPU?Thanks.

I have SPI1 working in bare metal on a 48 pin version of the same chip, but I am having difficulty with SPI3 migrating to a 64 pin.  For reference, I have attached the most recent stm32f103x6.h file from the Cube MX F1 package (STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.8.0).  SPI3 is on APB1, and SPI1 is on APB2.The first strange thing, if you look at line 17 of the code below, there is no "RCC_APB1ENR_SPI3EN" defined in the stm32f103x6.h file.  When using SPI1, you can use "RCC_APB2ENR_SPI1EN" - which IS defined in the .h file.  So I didn't think much of it and just manually set bit 15 of APB1ENR, corresponding to the SPI3 enable (Page 116 of reference manual RM0008).The second strange thing is "SPI3" simply is not defined in the stm32f103x6.h file.  For instance, if you change line 34 to "SPI3->CR1...", it won't recognize SPI3 and gives an error. It's acting like SPI3 doesn't exist on this chip.  There are no references to SPI3 (or SPI2 for that matter) in the&nbsp

Hi there! Both STM32CubeIDE and the ST MCUFinder tool incorrectly mark the STM32H503 as having a CORDIC and FMAC when they don't.Could this please be fixed as it's very confusing.Thank you!

HiWe work on a project with a STM32H562. We use STM32CubeMX Version 6.14 with the Firmware Package V1.5.0 to generate a STM32CubeIDE project on Windows 11. I just found a wrong description in CubeMX.The description for SRAM2_ECC, SRAM3_ECC and BKPRAM_ECC, says the parameter in CubeMX needs to be set to “Disabled” to enable ECC check.Assuming I want to disable ECC, I would set the option to “enable” in CubeMX. CubeMX then adds OB_SRAM2_ECC_ENABLE, OB_SRAM3_ECC_ENABLE and OB_BKPRAM_ECC_ENABLE in MX_FLASH_Init(). All three options are defined in stm32h5xx_hal_falsh_ex.h as 0. According to chapter 7.11.24 of the reference manual, setting the bit to 0 in the register, enables ECC (exactly the opposite of what I wanted). Therefore, the description in CubeMX is wrong. To Disable ECC, configure Disable in CubeMX and to enable ECC, configure enable.

HiWe work on a project with a STM32H562. We use STM32CubeMX Version 6.14 with the Firmware Package V1.5.0 to generate a STM32CubeIDE project on Windows 11. I think I just found bug in the code generation of CubeMX.I could reproduce the bug below in a new empty CubeMX Project. In Flash setting its possible to change the Flash Option Bytes Settings for the SRAM erase upon system reset. For SRAM2_RST this works as expected, and the code is generated in MX_FLASH_Init().But the option for SRAM13_RST does not work.If enabled or disabled the following code with a comment about a missing parameter is generated.

Hardware environment: STM32 Nucleo-64 development board with STM32C071RB MCU.Software environment: Bare-metal operation without RTOS.I am currently working on a USB composite device without an RTOS. Previously, I used STM32CubeMX to generate and modify separate HID mouse and CDC virtual serial port programs, both of which worked fine. This time, I added a CDC component to the HID mouse program. After generating the code with CubeMX and supplementing the CDC interface functions, I encountered an issue with PMA endpoint memory allocation. I referred to the code example in the CubeMX repository (STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_C0_V1.4.0\Projects\NUCLEO-C071RB\Applications\USBX\Ux_Device_HID_CDC_ACM), which has the following memory configuration:HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig(&hpcd_USB_DRD_FS, 0x00, PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x14);HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig(&hpcd_USB_DRD_FS, 0x80, PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x54);HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig(&hpcd_USB_DRD_FS, 0x81, PCD_SNG_BUF, 0x94);HAL_PCDEx_PMAConfig(&hpcd_USB_DRD_FS, 0x01

Hi everyone,I encountered problems when deploying the neural network using STM32N6570-DK.I was deploying my model to the STM32N6570-DK development board according to the routine, but found that the code file obtained by optimizing the model using the Stedg-AI web version did not contain the hex file, that is, network_data.hex under the Binary file of any routine folder. Without this file, I cannot complete the deployment of the neural network according to the steps of the routine.I attempted to solve this problem by downloading the ST EdgeAI software version, but for the downloaded ST EdgeAI Core 2.1.0, I couldn't find its shortcut to open it. I thought it was a version issue and tried to download ST EdgeAI Core 2.0.0, but got stuck at the step of ST Neural-ART package. I clicked on the download link of ST Neural-ART package on the installation interface. However, it returned to the download interface of ST EdgeAI Core. The download resources of the ST Neural-ART package could not be f

HiWe have a project that will use STM32MP257F on a custom hardware design.I have a STM32MP257F-EV1 board which I intend to use for early development. Our customer has a very strict boot time requirement so we want to use the Cortex M33 as the first boot processor and TF-M masterWe want to boot the Cortex A35 processors and leave them in a standby or low power state as the first application does not need them.In the STM32ubeMP2 package I found STM32CubeMP2/Projects/STM32MP257F-EV1/Demonstrations/StarterApp_M33TDwhich according to its README file, does almost exactly what I want. However I am having difficulty building it according to the instructions in the README file. Here's what I didI created a new workspace at the top level of my Linux shellmkdir workspace2cd workspace2I downloaded the STM32CubeMP2 package from GitHub and checked its tags. Output is belowgit clone https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeMP2Cloning into 'STM32CubeMP2'...remote: Enumerating objects: 14087, done.

Hello everyoneI would like to generate two different interrupts (INT1 and INT2) to detect free fall and tap.I am using MEMS studio to verify the configuration of the registers.I am using a F401RE development board with an IKS4A1 expansion that integrates the LIS2DUXS12 sensor.Question 1) why is the Sensor evaluation->Interrupt->Acc interrupt page not showing the signal for interrupt 2?Question 2) why are the options to enable INT2 interrupts not made available?Question 3) I have done many tests but INT2 seems to be unmanaged. I have simplified everything to a very simple test: in the interrupt config I select Free Fall [INT1] (which works and is represented) and then manually edit the MD2_CFG register setting it to 0x10 (so that I can be sure that the configuration for free fall is correct and then I enable the FF route on INT2 as well)I would expect that by exporting the data via the save to file page to see an output where two interrupts change together. Instead, what I get is

Dear Respected Sir/Madam,Could you kindly confirm if the top marking 9C220 on the received LDO with Part Number: L78L33ABUTR is correct? As per the catalog information, the expected top marking for this LDO appears to be 8A.For your reference, I have attached a picture of the component.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,Mubasheer Ahmed S

Hello, create a project with the above settings and it will result in a build error (missing header file).Thank you.Best regards potter

I am working on a project using the STM32C092CBT6 microcontroller, which is specified to have 48 pins in a LQFP 48 (7x7x1.4mm) package. However, in the STM32CubeMX software, the package is displayed as having 63 pins.Could you please clarify if this is an issue with the STM32CubeMX software configuration for the STM32C092CBT6

Moved from this post. Hi @mƎALLEm, I am facing the same issue with STM32F407. Hello, I am using the STM32H747I-DISCO board for my project. I need to set and reset a GPIO pin with a delay of around 10 nanoseconds between the transitions. My question is:Is it practically possible to achieve such precise timing (10 ns pulse width) using GPIO on an STM32 board, specifically the STM32H747? I also tried using direct register-level GPIO access by completely eliminating the HAL drivers. I was able to achieve a minimum pulse width of around 50 to 60 nanoseconds. However, I was still not able to achieve the desired 10 ns set/reset timing I have tried using TIM3 PWM but the minimum pulse I’m able to observe is around 102 ns.I would like to know if there is any reliable method. Any guidance or clarification would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello Gurus :)), I am currently trying to acquire 2 mic stereo data with SAI interface and have some questions regarding to de-interleave the input PDM stream. My nucleo board is nucleo-f446re. I am currently acquiring 8 bit pdm data with the relevant pdm buffer, but I am not certain if these PDM input stereo data are bit-interleaved or byte-interleaved.I have already read AN446, STM32 microphone acquisition youtube 8 video series, UM2372, rm for my board, and most of they say they are bit interleaved but in XCUBE-MEMS1 package example, I saw no deinterleaving or anything.  If they are bit-interleaved, do I need to conduct bit-masking and bit-shifting before processing them in PDM2PCM middleware? Would love to know some sample codes too.

If the electrode is embedded in an insulator, isn't the sensing process dielectric polarization rather than electrostatic induction? The following text is quoted from 「Application Note "Qvar sensing" (AN5755) p2.「 A signal is derived from the electronic circuit due to the fluctuations in the electric field resulting from the passage of the charged particles. If the electrode is embedded in an insulator or there is no direct contact between the electrode and the particles, the sensing process is achieved through electrostatic induction. 」

ST-Link.I'm working on setting the brown-out rising, falling, and enable options on an STM32G041F8.I started out by just using CubeProg to set the BOR_EN enable bit in the option bytes. Works correctly. It gives me the reaction I expected and I'm able to reconnect via CubeProg.Next I wanted to set the BORF_LEV to something other than 3 so I can test my code. I set it to 1, hit Apply, Cube prog complains that the connection is lost and it has disconnected from the device, and now when I try and connect I just get:17:13:46 : UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode 17:13:46 : ST-LINK SN : 31FF6A064D4E353828580643 17:13:46 : ST-LINK FW : V2J46S7 17:13:46 : Board : -- 17:13:46 : Voltage : 3.31V 17:13:46 : Error: Unable to get core ID 17:13:46 : Error: No STM32 target found! Dear community,I have a NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q board with CAN, USART, USB Device and 4 analog inputs. My application is structured using the Azure RTOS, but for ADC testing purposes I am not calling MX_ThreadX_Init() anymore. With the AZRTOS initiated is the same ADC behavior. The example at https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/tree/master/Projects/NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q/Examples/ADC/ADC_DMA_Transfer works, but they only use 1 channel. The board and at least ADC_Channel11 works.I attached my IOC file, but basically I am using ADC2 (also tried with ADC1) in continuous conversion, DMA circular mode.I also attached the main.c file. The gist of it:ALIGN_32BYTES (static uint16_t ADC_VAL[4]);void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc){if (hadc == &hadc2) { ADCfinished = 1; // Set the flag to indicate conversion is complete}}// in main()...if (HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc2, (uint32_t *) ADC_VAL, 4) != HAL_OK){Error_Handler();}while (1){if (ADCfinished) { // pri

In AN2606, it goes into pin specific detail about the pins when look at your specific chip line.   Does this mean that I am limited to those specific pins in order to use the bootloader and that I cannot used an alternate assigned pin?
