I've added the X-CUBE_AZRTOS-WB software pack and checked all the boxes for ThreadX but the RTOS ThreadX checkbox in STM32CubeIDE is disabled.  Is something else required to use ThreadX on an STM32WB? Kindes regards

Dear all, could need some advice how to continue debugging, IO am using an STM32F4- TIM1 capture compare IR enabled with highest priority (even above Time Base) - c&c callback just toggles a PIN two timesinline void HAL_TIM_OC_DelayElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(DEBUG_PIN_GPIO_Port,DEBUG_PIN_Pin); HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(DEBUG_PIN_GPIO_Port,DEBUG_PIN_Pin); return; }- IR is called every 13us. However, sometimes the pin seams stuck for ~10us and then recovers.checking carefully, the next double toggle is also a bit late but the overall timing for the over next is fine.So looks to me that something interrupts my interrupt and delays it. But what should this be if it has already highest priority ?Any suggestions ? BR,BastelBaus

Hi. I am trying to connect iPhone 14 (lightning port) to OTG (CN15) on STM32MP257F-DK, but there is no connection.iPhone 14 is not charged. No USB connection is shown on iPhone. On the board:`lsusb` does not show any new connection.`dmesg` does not show any new log, like there is no new cable plugged at all.The lightning-to-C cable has been tested with other devices and works fine.iPhone 16 (type-C port) can connect to OTG to be charged and do USB tethering just fine.I am already using the newest kernel 6.6.78 from https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/linux, branch "v6.6-stm32mp".So I would like to confirm if OTG on STM32MP257F-DK support lightning connection or not. Thank you.

Good evening sir Pls identify the components name.

I think the software STSW-L9963E isn't available for download on the ST website. Coul someone please send it to me? Here is my email: vinicius.strini@gmail.com

HiI am trying to switch a project from one MCU to the another. I made a new IOC file in MX and then replaced the existing IOC file in my IDE project with my fresh file. The overall configuration is identical except for the pinout, and I use a mix of HAL and LL libraries. The Drivers folder is giving me a boat-load of errors, but all of my user code seems to be fine.I have tried cleaning/rebuilding the project, starting fresh with just the new IOC file, deleting the Drivers folder, saving and regenerating code, and more. The errors won't go away. I have attached the output. What can I do to fix this? Are there any common mistakes or recommended fixes for this situation?

Friends, hello, I encountered a problem with starting DWT with PRODUСT STATE = 72;I measure the time between pulses (white beam of the logic analyzer) by the EXTI5 interrupt input (falling edge of the signal), TIME_LONG_SENS = DWT->CYCCNT / (SystemCoreClock / 1000000); and then reset the counter DWT->CYCCNT = 0U; I measured the number of pulses on the generator and the number of interrupts on the input, they are equal. Then after a certain delay I control the microcontroller output to send a pulse (red and yellow beams of the logic analyzer). The problem is that after zeroing DWT in the PRODUСT STATE = 72 state,One output pulse is skipped.it does not always start and upon arrival of the next interrupt, the DWT->CYCCNT value is zero, and accordingly, the measured time is also zero.If I set PRODUСT STATE = ED, then this problem does not occur and the same code works correctly. Please tell me what my problem is and how to solve it?

Hi,Yesterday I found on YouTube a video from ST that showed how to read firmware from(!) an STM32 board to a pc using STM32CubeProgrammer. Today, I cannot find that video. Could someone from ST please point me in the direction of that video ? Thanks. Stuart

Hello,I have an issue with this setup:STM32H503RBCubeIDE 1.19.0, Win10ioc-Implementations:SYS[Timebase Source TIM1]; RCC[CRS SYNC Source USB]; ICACHE[1way]Connectivity-> USB[Device only, USB FS Global Interrupt, Internal PHY]; SPI3[FD-Master]Middleware-> TREADX[Core]; USBX[Core, Device CoreStack FS, Device Controllers FS, CDC ACM]Nothing is implemented regarding the SPI port yet.I succesfully went through this STM tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdY2bieaPwk Success means: when I switch the PC13 button, the string "Hello World" is transmitted to the terminal on my PC.Here is the But:A thread for the blinking of an LED is not running anymore:VOID LD1_thread_entry(ULONG initial_input){ (VOID)initial_input; while(1){ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LED_RD1_o_GPIO_Port,LED_RD1_o_Pin); tx_thread_sleep(8); // 1tick per 10ms } }I know the workaround already:Priority of usbx-write-thread is [Prio,Subprio=] 9,9Priority of LD1_thread is 15,15=> just decrease from 15,15 to l

Hi everyone,I'm looking for information about the power consumption of the Teseo-VIC3DA during dead reckoning operation when GNSS signals are unavailable. Could you please share the typical power consumption in this mode?Best regards,Tetsuya Murata

Greetings, I have a question about the touchsensing module. I am using a stm32u585rit6 mcu in a custom-made board and making a project using azure rtos. I needed to add touchsensing. I watched the app_azure_rtos_config.h and noticed that there is static memory allocation via threadX memory pools (#define TOUCHSENSING_APP_MEM_POOL_SIZE   5000). Then, at the app_azure_rtos.c file there is the following: __ALIGN_BEGIN static UCHAR tsc_byte_pool_buffer[TOUCHSENSING_APP_MEM_POOL_SIZE] __ALIGN_END; static TX_BYTE_POOL tsc_app_byte_pool; if (tx_byte_pool_create(&tsc_app_byte_pool, "TOUCHSENSING App memory pool", tsc_byte_pool_buffer, TOUCHSENSING_APP_MEM_POOL_SIZE) != TX_SUCCESS) { /* USER CODE BEGIN TOUCHSENSING_Byte_Pool_Error */ /* USER CODE END TOUCHSENSING_Byte_Pool_Error */ } else { /* USER CODE BEGIN TOUCHSENSING_Byte_Pool_Success */ /* USER CODE END TOUCHSENSING_Byte_Pool_Success */ memory_ptr = (VOID *)&tsc_app_byte_pool; status = MX_TOUCHSEN

Split from this already-solved thread. Hi there,I am also having questions about that module, especially when it comes to the symbol difference between the one found in the X-NUCLEO-67W61M1 product page here:https://www.st.com/resource/en/schematic_pack/mb2230-antenna-a04-schematic.pdf   And the one in the datasheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st67w611m1.pdf   Shall we understand the RESERVED pins in the datasheet will eventually be designated as GPIOs (USB, JTAG, UART...)? Or since the dev board schematic files are older than the datasheet, are the peripheral features of the ST67W611M1 being reducted for future releases? Also as the author of the thread mentioned, what should be done with the RESERVED pins ? Should they be left NC or tied to GND?Thanks for your support

Hi everyone, History:I am running from bank 0 and I start an upgrade after the upgrade I do a bank swap and the application starts running from bank 1.Problems:Now I use a debugger to flash the .elf file in the micro-controller. But the code does not boot up. I open stm32 programmer uncheck the swap bank and re-flash the code and then the code runs. What I want:I want to uncheck the swap bank flag so that I am always in bank 0 when I flash my binary on the µC. I need to do it because I want to connect it in a CI/CD pipeline and I dont want the system to break.I want a script that ideally works jlink.exe to reset only the swap bank bit and not touch any other bit in the registerMy .jlink script:device STM32H573AI si SWD speed 4000 connect // Step 1: Check FLASH_SECSR for BSY, DBNE, WBNE bits (manual step, not supported in .jlink script) // Step 2: Clear error flags in FLASH_SECCR w4 0x4002202C, 0xFFFFFFFF // Step 3: Unlock FLASH and OPTION BYTES w4 0x40022008, 0x45670123 w4 0x4002

HiThe normal behavior of the division lines and labels of the graphs are that the they are placed at the integer multiples of the interval set for the widget. If the offset on the axis are zero, it will off cause be the most obvious solution. But in our application we got up to three curves in the same chart solved by placing multiple graphs on top of each other as the have different units on the axis. Only one of the Y-axis starts at zero and the divisions are therefore defined by this. But as the two other graphs has offset not in the division interval, the labels are not placed at the division lines. They are placed in an integer multiple of the interval. And that does not look good. Of cause I could disable the labels created from the graphs, and place them manually using text areas. But is there a solution to offset the location of the labels (and there values) and the division lines?Examples. This is what is possible: (Of cause I can use the right interval, but then the min/ma

The STM32F107Vx has 2 CAN interfaces. In the TRM RM0008 Rev 21 dated February 2021 on page 115 I can only find one entry to enable the CAN clock, bit 25. What CAN clock does this bit enable? CAN1, CAN2 or both? Or does the reserved bit 26 enable CAN2 and bit 25 CAN1?I could not find any additional information (documentation) answering these questions. Died I miss something?regards, Felix

Do the current VD56G3 drivers support the CM5 module? I have followed the installation guides several times (including building libcamera from the ST source files) and I can't get libcamera to stream the camera. I want to use a USB connection on a STM32WBA65 processor, purely for debug purposes to get some info back to a PC on a virtual com port. The device will not be powered by USB.I don't want the processor to act as a host.Questions:Can the STM32WBA65 provide this implementation of a virtual com port? How is this set up in the HAL?If I use a USB micro connector, which pins should be connected to where? In the past, on simpler STM32 devices, I have just connected ground, DP & DM from the cable directly into the micro. If I use a USB-C connector, because they are generally more sturdy, which pins need connecting? Do I need to connect CC pins? Can I just pull them up (or down) with simple resistors?

Dear supporters,In a project I want to create a feedback mechanism to keep the top of a pulse-shaped signal between boundaries. Most of this seems working, except the control of the DAC channel, that should output a voltage for the diode-laser which produces the pulse to be controlled. Whatever I try, I get a more or less constant block shaped signal of 3.3V during ~7us and 0V for 5us. I checked the Reference Manual for the STM32H723VG processor chapter 31 but did find any clue.In pseudo code I do the following:    - declare a DAC variable (DAC_HandleTypeDef hdac1; , auto-generated)    - initialize the DAC within 'main.c'  ( MX_DAC1_Init(); , auto-generated)/** * @brief DAC1 Initialization Function * @PAram None * @retval None */ static void MX_DAC1_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DAC1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END DAC1_Init 0 */ DAC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; /* USER CODE BEGIN DAC1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END DAC1_Init

Hello,I've useX-CUBE-MCSDK v6.4.1B-G473E-ZEST1S + STEVAL-LVLP01 + B-MOTOR-PMSMA1with the HSO.I can make it run with the GUI. But can't start the motor with API.In the legacy, I use MC_ProgramSpeedRampMotor1(100, 1000); for 600 rpm within 1000 ms.For HSO, I can't find the same API, but found that may need to use these:MC_SetAccelerationMotor1()MC_SetSpeedReferenceMotor1()The question is how to calculate the value passing to these API, I found it different from the legacy. Thank you.

Hi,We need to pre-program a large mount of STPMIC25APQR offline. So we would design a minimum system to program this device. My question is we only need to program this chip, which pins should be must. we would like to leave all other pins floated(not used). Could all the  LDOs and BUCKs not powered as we don't use them in programming.

Hi,I have an issue with the UASRT communication being abnormal.First case:Access System Bootload Mode by Options bytesAccess the Main Application by the UART protocol ( UART2)Send the first UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 that contains the UART error code: 0x4 (Frame Error)Send the same UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 again without the UART error codeSecond case:Using IDE Debug Mode, break at main()Send a UART packet to the ST MCU via UART2 without the UART error codeI tried to De-Init and Re-Init the UART2, which I expect to reset all the UART2 register values before I send the UART packet. According to my test case, could I say that the UART error code 0x4 is due to System Bootload Mode? How could I fix the issue? Please let me know if more information is required.

The power cable and the USB cable for kit interface are connected properly. When I connect the interface cable as per the the quick start guide, the LabTool does not recognize any port. If I go to settings - port: I can find no port to chooseIf I go to settings - COM port - Scan port: Again, nothing happens. In my windows device manager, I can see two new devices which don't have the appropriate driver, there are named: Enhanced COM port, and standard COM port. #evalkitst8500-1 #smartgrid-labtool

I have followed the wiki to create my encryption keys;https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_perform_Secure_Boot_from_Distribution_Package#Creating_encryption_key_for_STM32MP13--STM32MP21--STM32MP23_and_STM32MP25 Which suggest creating two keys for TF-A and FIP encryption. But then in the same page it suggest we only load the encryption key for TF-A to OTP registers (i can not fit the FIP key into OTP anyways) After i build my image with the following config;  SIGN_KEY = "../keys/privateKey00.pem" SIGN_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/privateKey00.pem" EXTERNAL_KEY_CONF = "1" SIGN_KEY_PASS = "pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass" SIGN_ENABLE = "1" SIGN_TOOL = "/bin/STM32_SigningTool_CLI" ENCRYPT_ENABLE = "1" ENCRYPT_FSBL_KEY = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key.bin" ENCRYPT_FSBL_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key.bin" ENCRYPT_FIP_KEY = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key_256bits.bin" ENCRYPT_FIP_KEY_stm32mp13 = "../keys/stm32mp_encryption_key_256bits.b

I have generated the code generated from MCSDK 6.4.0 for the micro STM32G431CB to STM32G431RBT6 micro. My understanding is all the Hall drivers remain the same, the startup file and the .ld file will vary based on the micro controller. But i am running into the issue where ADC2 handler is getting called which it shall not as long as the PWM is OFF. There is one signal handler called as shown above i am not sure what it is? I have been struggling to understand, please help.
