Hi,I have latest version of STM32CubeIDE software . After I logged into the tool, it does not show the user name as it was in previous versions. When I try to login using help -> STM32Cube update -> connect to myST, it says, it will  display message "Clear myST account information for this session" if I have already logged in, else it ask for use id and password. I tried with wrong password to see if it checks, I get a failure notice. If I use the correct password, the login window disappears, signalling that my login is correctIDE version 1.19.0

I'm developing an application where I need to have both USART1 and LPUART1 configured to receive commands. I'm using STOP1 mode to ensure the commands can be received by both peripherals (USART1 will not work with STOP2 mode from my understanding). I'm seeing extremely weird behavior and it's perhaps the way I'm implementing the wake up. The same exact setup I use in USART1 has a completely different current consumption with LPUART1. I have another MCU on my board but in STOP1 mode with USART1 enabled only I get about 500uA current consumption and when I swap it for LPUART1 I get 4mA.# ENVIRONMENTSTM32WB35CEUDMARX circular buffer. USART1Baudrate 115200Clock HSILPUART1Baudrate 9600Clock LSE# PROBLEM DESCRIPTIONMy application flow is as follows:When UTIL_SEQ_Idle() gets called I do the following:Check USART_ISR_BUSY is RESET (return otherwise).Check USART_ISR_REACK is SET (return otherwise).Call HAL_UARTEx_StopModeWakeUpSourceConfig() with UART_WAKEUP_ON_STARTBIT.Enab

Hi,I have used CubeIDE for 2 years, recently the Project Explorer view disappears occasionally, and I found ctrl-m can recover it, but now it's gone completely, ctrl-m doesn't work, Window->Show View->Project Explorer doesn't work neither.Anybody knows how to recover it?Chao

I am developing a bootloader for the STM32H563 that is stored at the beginning of internal Flash (0x08000000) and the application is stored at 0x08020000.  The application runs fine when I program/start from STM32CubeIDE once I changed the linker script to set the appropriate Flash address and the VEC_TAB_ADDRESS to be 0x20000 in system_stm32h5xx.c, so the application runs fine on its own from the new 0x08020000 address. In the bootloader I am executing the following code the should work fine as I've used similar before in a project with the STM32H743. __disable_irq(); SCB->VTOR = (uint32_t)EuiFlashFile_loadAddress; __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*) EuiFlashFile_loadAddress); void (*app_reset_handler)(void); app_reset_handler = (void (*)(void))(*(__IO uint32_t*)(EuiFlashFile_loadAddress + 4U)); app_reset_handler();The app_reset_handler is set to the correct Reset_Handler address stored at 0x08020004 (0x0802FC3D).......but after the app_reset_handler() is called I used the debugge

Just download the latest version from ST web and installed Linux version of the STM32IDE tools chain. It is Debian Linux 12, updated and upgraded. No hardware display card. Use the Intel i5 COP internal display card. Display is small on 4k screen. If I switched to 2k resolution, display size is normal. An idea on setting the software to expect a 4k screen?  Many thanks

Hi All,I see two order codes for the VL53L5CX: VL53L5CXV0GC/1 (with liner) VL53L5CXV9GC/1 (without liner) The datasheet says the liner must be removed before mounting the cover glass, but it’s not clear when the liner version is required.Could anyone of you clarify the purpose of the liner and when to choose the with liner version instead of without liner for standard PCB assembly? Thanks.

Thread split from this one. In all examples found on the ST rapository concerning the MPU_config in addition to the background configuration to prevent that speculative access issue, there is also the following initialisation. Could you tell me what this concerns and whether it is essential since it is present in almost all MPU_configs of the various platforms? /* Configure the MPU attributes FMC control registers */ MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER7; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0xA0000000; MPU_InitStruct.Size = MPU_REGION_SIZE_8KB; MPU_InitStruct.AccessPermission = MPU_REGION_FULL_ACCESS; MPU_InitStruct.IsBufferable = MPU_ACCESS_BUFFERABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsCacheable = MPU_ACCESS_NOT_CACHEABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsShareable = MPU_ACCESS_SHAREABLE; MPU_InitStruct.TypeExtField = MPU_TEX_LEVEL0; MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable = 0x0; MPU_InitStruct.DisableExec = MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_DISABLE; HAL_MPU_ConfigRegion(&MPU_In

I’m working on an iOS(17+ using Swift) app using CoreNFC and need to manage passwords on ST25 tags. The goal:Authenticate with the existing password (assuming I already have).Remove the password (disable protection).Immediately set a new password in the same NFC session. The issue:• The chip doesn’t actually clear the password.• Commands fail with “Tag connection lost”.It looks like I’m not reading/writing the configuration pages correctly or missing a required sequence. What I needA working Swift implementation that:• Authenticates with the existing password,• Removes/clears it,• Sets a new password,• All in one NFC session.Any code snippets or idea would be really helpful.

I am using an SD card in SDIO mode with the STM32F205. I am planning to replace the SD card with an eMMC. If the eMMC has SD card mode, can I replace it without changing the program?

Dear ST Experts,I hope this message finds you well.I am currently a research student in Japan working on the ST BMS AutoDevKit ecosystem. I have purchased the full system including:AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1AEK-COM-ISOSPI1AEK-POW-BMS63ENAEK-POW-BMSHOLDThe provided firmware is specifically designed to work with the LG INR18650-MJ1 battery model. However, I have contacted About:Energy regarding this model, and they informed me that they only provide free access to it for Formula Student and racing teams.I would be very grateful for your guidance on the following:Is it possible to use other battery models with the ST BMS AutoDevKit?If so, what steps should I follow to build a compatible battery model? Specifically, I would like to understand:What parameters and conditions are required? How can I implement SoC/SoH estimation for a different battery model using MATLAB and integrate it into the ST firmware examples?I apologize if these are basic questions—I am still new to this field and eager to learn.

Hello @STTwo-32.In this new release 6.13.0 I can`t use the internal Voltage Reference in STM32U585. I also don't see the option to select the Internal Voltage Reference in VREFBUF setting. It's very bad(.

Hi,I am working on DAC on Nucleo-H563ZI board. I am using PA4 on ST Morpho header as DAC1_OUT1.In idle state when the USER USB port is connected (irrespective of ST-LINK port connection), it shows a constant voltage of 660mV on output.During sine generation using DAC, there is no offset of this voltage observed and the output is in range. But if the USER USB is not connected, the output remains 0V. What could probably be causing the 660mV idle state output?

Hello everyone,I’m working on a project using the STSPIN32G4 and running into an issue where the MOSFETs are not switching as expected. I’d really appreciate some guidance from the community.Setup:MCU: STSPIN32G4 (integrated STM32G4 + gate driver)Power stage: 3-phase inverter using N-channel MOSFETsPower supply: 48VControl method: Just attempting to drivethe InverterFirmware: Own Problem:The MCU is running and I can confirm firmware execution via debug. The MOSFETs are not turning on — no switching on the half-bridges.Gate driver outputs appear to stay low (no high/low drive pulses). What I’ve Checked:VBOOT and VCC supply rails are within spec.EN/FAULT pins are pulled correctly(High).PWM timer configuration looks fine in CubeMX.Dead-time insertion is enabled. No over-current fault is being signaled (nFAULT pin is inactive).Questions:Are there any common setup steps (jumpers, register settings, enable sequences) I might be missing before the gate driver will actually drive the MOSFETs

I want to use the EMMC as USB storage space, but I encountered another issue: I am trying to access the EMMC via SDMM1, and after implementing the MSC-related functions (read, write, USBD_STORAGE_GetMediaLastLba, USBD_STORAGE_GetMediaBlocklength) in ux_device_msc.c, the formatting operation on the PC side fails. The error message says: "Please insert a disk into the removable disk."I have already verified that after initializing SDMM1, the EMMC can be accessed and read/write operations are successful. What could be the reason for this issue? The attached file is my project.ux_device_msc.c：

Can I use MMAction2 with TSN or SlowFast behavior recognition models and deploy them to the STM32MP257? Does the STM32MP257 support 3D CONV operators?
