Solved

I turned off all the other configuration aka Alternate Functions..only enabled GPIO PA5 as output Pushpull mode, low freq.its doesnt turn on or off individually..tried to turn on and off using HAL as well as direct registers..both work only when PA4 turns on ...what i mean if i want to turn on PA5 i should turn on PA4, then only it works..what is this causing this issue.can you help me out.tried on multiple hardwares..same issue so hardware issue eliminated, no pin short circuit.

Hi, I was using CubeProgrammer version 2.8 to program the STM32L552 microcontroller, using the ‘STM32_Programmer_CLI’ file. After updating to version 2.14, I have noticed a significantly longer programming time. For example, before the update, it took 1.8 seconds to program approximately 20kB; after the update, it takes over 10 seconds. My programming settings are as follows:call "%programmer%" -c port=swd freq=1000 -w "%hexfile%" -vI have tried different SWD frequencies, 3300 and 24000, but no luck. Does anyone else have this issue and know the solution?I also have one more question - if a verification error occurs, why does STM32_Programmer_CLI return 0 as the exit code? Shouldn’t it be a different value that indicates an error?Best regards,

I have an animated image, and I want to make it rotate around a circle. I assume I need to use a container and somehow integrate the TextureMapper into it, but I’m not sure how to do that.

Hi, I bought 50pcs STM32L151C8T6A from one Chinese online vendor, which has device marking with QR code.I encountered an issue while using the new version chip, after initial power-on, the overall sleep current of the product is approximately 5uA(STM32L151C8T6A in stop mode), When I reset the product's hardware multiple times, there is a high probability that the product's sleep current will reach up to 1.6mA. Once this occurs, the product can only return to normal by being powered on again. With the same hardware, replacing the STM32L151C8T6A with an older version will prevent the issue from occurring. This is a mature product, and this is also my first time using the new version of STM32L151C8T6A. Is the software for the old and new versions incompatible? What should I be aware of?ps: I am using the STM32L series standard library.

I am selecting the LD1117S50CTR. The package is SOT-223.I understand that the thermal resistance Rthja = 110 °C/W shown in the datasheet is the value for the IC alone.Since I am designing the PCB, I would like to know the relationship between copper area and thermal resistance.I would appreciate your advice.

Hi, I'm facing a problem with the Clock Configuration tab with the latest version of the STM32CubeIDE. In fact, every time I open the ioc file, there is an error with the SMPS Clock Mux on the STM32WB board I'm using. I correct and generate code and saved but when I open the file again the error is still there. I'm using the latest version of the Cube.Thanks.

Hi,STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.14.1 (and earlier)after selecting One Pulse Mode, the settings for this operating mode do not appear.

Dear STM32CubeMX Support Team,I would like to report two issues encountered while using X-Cube-AI version 10.2.0 during model analysis and training on the N6 series MCU with NPU support.Bug 1: Memory Pool View Cannot Be Horizontally Scrolled in Netron GraphAfter analyzing a model and clicking "Show Graph", the generated Netron visualization displays the memory pool section with a very long vertical axis that extends beyond the visible area. However, the view cannot be horizontally dragged or scrolled, which prevents full visibility of the memory pool details. This makes it difficult to inspect memory allocation information, especially when working with complex models.Expected Behavior: The memory pool section should allow horizontal scrolling or panning to fully view all data.Current Behavior: The graph is truncated; no scroll or drag functionality is available for the memory pool axis.Bug 2: Inconsistent Unit Display Between External Flash and Memory PoolsIn the X-Cube-AI configration

I bought a motor as a first step i want to run the motor profiler, the specifications of the motor are48V, Output: 500W, Rated Current: 16A, Rated speed: 600 RPM it is a geared motor with ratio of 1:6 and the number of pole pairs is 4.I got confirmation before purchase that the back emf will be sinusoidal, but when i have done hand rotation and verified the waveform between the phases i get the below waveformSo, request to please confirm if the motor profiler can be run with the above back emf? If not i have to exchange the motor. This motor is only for validating the profiler and hall sensor placement angle and understand how to change the profiler parameters before i move to the actual motor. One other question is in the window for current in profiler, i am entering 16A * sqrt(2) = 31 amps is it correct? i have run the profiler it runs for few cycles and ends up with speed feedback fault the phase currents during the time the motor is running are sinusoidal

Hi,I'm trying to implement an external loader for the Arduino Giga R1 board with AT25S128A 128Mbit of external flash. After following the guide given in the external loader repo, I'm running into the problem, that I can erase, write & read from the memory fine, however, as soon as I try to turn on memory mapped mode, all the data reads as 0xFF...FF, both in code and in the STM32CubeIDE memory viewer. I think my problems could be related to MCU configuration, I would be grateful if someone could give some guidance, see the relevant code below and attached. quadspi.c:uint8_t CSP_QSPI_EnableMemoryMappedMode(void) { QSPI_CommandTypeDef sCommand = { 0 }; QSPI_MemoryMappedTypeDef sMemMappedCfg = { 0 }; // Enable Memory-Mapped mode sCommand.InstructionMode = QSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE; sCommand.Instruction = QUAD_INOUT_FAST_READ_CMD; sCommand.SIOOMode = QSPI_SIOO_INST_EVERY_CMD; sCommand.AddressMode = QSPI_ADDRESS_4_LINES; sCommand.AddressSize = QSPI_ADDRESS_24_BITS; sCommand.

I'm in the middle of attempting to reconfigure the clock tree on my STM32F303K8. The old clock tree looks likeThe new clock tree looks like The old clock tree works fine. The new clock tree always fails on boot; not always in the same address but always in the neighbourhood of HAL_RCC_ClockConfig. An example stack trace looks likeIn this case it claims to have failed on this line 769 of HAL_RCC_ClockConfig: /* Get Start Tick */ tickstart = HAL_GetTick();This is failing in the MX-generated code well before any of my own code runs. The goal is to keep the CPU clock at 64 MHz but reduce everything after the AHB prescaler. The diff of the RCC section in the .ioc file looks like this:

Hello,In my project, i am using 2 octoSPI devices connected to my STM32H735. (IDE is STM32CUbeIDE V1.19.0)After migrating the Project to STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 it is not possible to configure the octoSPI in Multiplexed Mode anymore. The existing config from V6.14.1 and below is automatically removed during the migration and can not be set/activated again. Is there any issue in this Version or am i missing something?best regardsAlexander

Hi,   This webpage suggests that STM can offer ceramic packages for their IMU modules. How would I go about requesting or getting a quote for a ceramic package version of any particular IMU module? thanks

Hello everyone,This is my first post on the platform, so please bear with me.I would like to write raw data to an SD card very quickly. After quite a bit of research, I decided to use SDMMC with MDMA, and I want to write directly to the SD card blocks to avoid latency associated with the FATFS overlay.Apart from an old post that explains how to configure MDMA and link it to SDMMC, I haven't found any concrete examples of a function that allows reading and writing to the SD card.Could you give me a simple example of writing and reading to use MDMA with SDMMC to write to the SD card, or point me to existing projects or examples that I may have missed? Thanks in advance.

I have to dump my GUI made by using Qt framework on STMF769I-Discovery board on baremetal. If anyone has any baremetal sample implementation for the mentioned then kindly share the sample code with me  email: binayak.d@coreel.com

I have a ioc file created with Version 1.18.1, that enables only the OCTOSPI2 (and some RCC and clock settings).Importing this file (see attachmend) the OCTOSPI2 gets disabled, further more it is non longer possibile to re-enable it as QUAD-SPI!If added with out migration the IOC it is working as before.

Hello,If DCMIPP parallel mode is selected then CubeMX do not generate HAL_DCMIPP_MspInit function to initialize and enable DCMIPP CLK, pinout, IRQ, there is only weak empty declaration in stm32n6xx_hal_dcmipp.c, without initialization settings nothing works...I do not checked other modes.

I pulled down the latest CubeMX (v6.15.0) to do a parametric search for a new part.  Needing > 70 GPIOs and USB device function but not much else, I narrowed in on the STM32G0B1 series. When I start CubeMX, I'm told there are 4801 items in the parts list,  When I filter on "STM32G0B1", that drops to 103 items.  However... if I then filter on either "USB FS" or "USB Type-C", that number drops to 97 parts.  I exported a before and after and diffed the lists, and found that the 7 parts that fell out of the list were all STM32G0B1VE parts.  The 'VB (128K flash) and 'VC (256K flash) parts were in both lists, only the 'VE (512K flash) parts appeared to lack the "USB FS" and "USB Type-C" attributes. This is a mistake, correct?  The 'VE parts have all the same peripheral features as the 'VB and 'VC parts, yes?Dana M.

I have a STM32U595 and I use the RTC in binary mode.If an SSR underflow occurs during Vbat mode, will the SSRUF be set so after power recovery I can manage the interrupt ?

Hi Team,I am trying to communicate with my bms using raspberry pi.I am using 8 cells in series connected to AEK-POW-BMSCCTX from C0 to C8 (from cell taps-P1 connecter). From the P4 side VIO-3V, Vdd- 5v, GND. I have also connected the MISO,MOSI,CS and CLK of the pi with corresponding pins in bms. Also TXEN-high, DIS-low, BNE-low.Using this run a sample Spi code and there is no correct reply. I just need to know is this connections correct? any extra connections do i have to do?Also after connections, D9,D8 and D2 leds of my bms is light up. When spi is activated D7 led should blink but not in my setup. I hope i get this problem solved.Hardware we’re using now1× AEK-POW-BMSCCTX (one node powered with 8 cells for bring-up).Raspberry Pi with /dev/spidev0.0 enabled.Cell stack: C0..C8 populated (8 cells ≈ 26 V).Two GND_EXT pins tied to pack negative as per BMS hold manual.Actual wiring (current)P1 (cells)C0–C8 → 8 cell taps (≈ 26 V total)GND_EXT(×2) → pack negativeP4 (logic, to Raspberry Pi)

Hello, I am trying to figure out if disabling the Offset Cancellation on the LSM303AGR would impact the wake up trigger mechanism. From what I could find, the LSM303AGR is an AMR sensor that uses the magneto-resistant property of a film to change its resistance based on the value of an external field. However, a constant bias is present due to imperfections of the sensor and to remove those, a set and reset of the film is performed to create a uniform direction of the resistive elements. When the set and reset functionality is disabled, the film particles will point to arbitrary directions. This bias is similar to a hard-iron offset that will shift the center of the magnetic sphere, however the sensor imperfections bias can drift with time and temperature. The trigger mechanism that we are aiming for needs to wake up the MCU when the relative change in the magnetic field exceeds a threshold. So when the threshold includes this constant bias (which could be updated in

anyone know who to contact about an error in the datasheets? In the AN6109 (device application note) of the ISM330BX datasheet on page 65/107 in section 8.2 FIFO registers there are three line I believe have errors: – SFLP_GBIAS_FIFO_EN bit of the EMB_FUNC_FIFO_EN_B register in order to enable batching the gyroscope bias data in FIFO (the SFLP embedded function must be enabled)– SFLP_GRAVITY_FIFO_EN bit of the EMB_FUNC_FIFO_EN_B register in order to enable batching the gravity vector data in FIFO (the SFLP embedded function must be enabled)– SFLP_GAME_FIFO_EN bit of the EMB_FUNC_FIFO_EN_B register in order to enable batching the game rotation vector data in FIFO (the SFLP embedded function must be enabled)  these three lines should say EMB_FUNC_FIFO_EN_A register not EMB_FUNC_FIFO_EN_B register.  also, and this part I'm less sure about, on the same document on page 57/107 in section 6.5 Sensor fusion functions I think the "the specific configuration b
