i have an old st92F150 that is defect. now i have an extra which is good so i wanted to upload the dump from the good one into an empty one. for this i need STVP9 software. is there a way you guys can help me get this? other link on this forum is expired or something.

Hi! We are developing a sensitive device using the STM32WB55, using in the M0+ the concurrent Thread+Ble binary (we use the concurrent because we'll need both Ble and Thread in the near future, althought the most important role is the Thread communication, and is the only one we are using right now). Thread works fine, but after some hours on the field (not in lab), the M0+ gets stuck in some state where it no longer ack the commands from our app in M4. Reseting the whole device makes it functional again, but it is not an opcion in the field. We need a way of reseting the M0+ without touching the M4, in order to make it function again. The state in which the M0 wont respond is simply it wont ack any command anymore after a while. It is not consistent, it could happen after 4h or after 12h. It is not reproductible in the lab, it only happens on the field. So we need to implement a recovery for when it happens. Please any hint is welcome.

Hi! I'm confused about the wiring for some of the pins on the STM32H7S3I8T6:  Does the full-speed USB connection require an external high speed oscillator? There's a GPIO that senses VBUS from USB called "OTG_FS_VBUS." Currently, we have it pulled up to VBUS so that it will read high when USB is connected. However when USB isn't connected, it is left floating. Would that be ok? Thank you so much for the help!

Hi,I want my slave device to be able to sniff packets destined for other slaves on the same bus. At the moment, communication management is based on HAL with interrupts, and I can see when the master sends requests to me because I enter the address match interrupt. I would like to take a step back and see where a wrong address is discarded, before answering with a NACK.I want my slave to be able to understand when the packets are intended for another slave with a specific address and from there monitor the communication to sniff the information. Is that possible?I can't find where an address that doesn't match mine is discarded. Thank you

I'm currently trying to configure a project based on an STM32U375CGUxQ, but I can only "choose" the LDO, even though the package clearly shows the SMPS pins:I'm using the STM32U3 package version 1.2.0, STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0, build 25607_20250703_0907.  Are there any prerequisites to being able to use the SMPS, and if so, what are they? NB: There doesn't seem to be a "Power saving mode" under the PWR category:

I want to use Ethernet for STM32H573I-DK controller in RMII mode but it seems like H5 series doesn't have LWIP as middleware in STM32 IDE so I want to know which transceiver is this controller compatible with.   Can i get a clarification on this?

Hi all,I managed to move my fonts to external serial flash. Now I want TouchGFX 4.25 to retrieve and use them but it doesn't seem to work.My question is this. Is it possible to do so, and if yes, is there some kind of appnote on this? Thanks

Hello,I'm working with a custom board that uses an external 12V supply for the VCC pin (gate driver supply) of STSPIN32g4. The VCC supply is interrupted by external circuitry whenever a fault is detected. The problem I'm encoutering is that when the 12V is removed the firmware gets stuck by continuously calling the interupt "TIMx_BRK_M1_IRQHandler" in the file "stm32g4xx_mc_it.c" and no other code gets executed.I tried to stop the timer calling this interrupt but without success. The goal is to remove torque to the motor by hardware as if being connected to an enable/disable input. Thank you in advance.

I am using ST25DV04KC tag and using the V_EH pin to power the VCC of the tag only( It will generate around 3.3V which is enough to power up the tag in I2C mode I believe) . I am looking for guidance on the maximum pullup voltage on the I2C and GPO line from an external rail of around 3.6V, if it is okay? what can be the max voltage on the I2C and GPO pins? is it independent of VCC or dependent on VCC?

The new version of CubeMx (6.15.0) nags me about enabling SMPS mode, and I would like to, but the tool seemingly does not have the capability to do so.Under PWR->Low Power there's a checkbox for "Power Savings Mode" which other forum posts led me to believe would need to be enabled. I have found two things about this checkbox. 1.) It is already enabled and 2.) You cannot disable it.Then, under "System Core" -> RCC ->Parameter Settings, there's a "Supply Source" parameter. It has only a "PWR_LDO_SUPPLY" option, and cannot be changed to any other value.Am I missing something here, or is the tool broken?

Hello, I get the same error recently on 1.19.0 for my STM32U385RGTxQ. The only option available in Power Supply source is PWR_LDO_SUPPLY

From Cube 1.19.0, i keep getting the "For the best power consumption figure, enable SMPS" and although the Nucleo-U385RG-Q board uses a Q variant, I'm not able to switch to SMPS from CubeMX.

Hello,I am trying to understand the memory allocation for the FDCAN, I am using a nucleo H723ZG.With the latest CubeIDE 1.18.1 I seem to be able to configure 32 TX Buffers and 32 TX FIFOs:However the message RAM mapping in AN5348 - Rev 5 shows that there are only a maximum on 32 for both Buffers and FIFOs:Is there a mistake in the MX interface that should not allow more that 32 of Buffers + FIFOs combined, or the memory mapping has 2 sections of up to 32 elements for both buffers and FIFOs? Thanks,Marco

Hey,the text on the ST ic is:gzw9v914aimrc226did anybody know the type ?thanks a lot

STM32CubeProgrammer v2.21.0 I implement Open Bootloader middleware to communicate USART protocol over USB CDC on Mbed OS 6 I found when I open STM32CubeProgrammer and click Erasing & Programming tab first time, program will freeze. But after first time does not freeze. After Click Erasing & Programming tab. Program send Get ID for 100 packets per sec Graph with 1 Sec interval, Get ID packets (I only filter 0x02) Graph with 100ms interval, Get ID packets Before Click, 2 Get ID per 1 sec After Click, 513 Get ID packets with no delay I also try with FTDI and result is mostly same Graph with 100ms interval, Get ID packets 6-7 packet per 100ms And also 513 packets I also found when before and after buck send. Program change baud rate to 9600 and switch back to 115200 (I use 115200)

Hi, I'm using a custom board based on STM32U5G9J-DK1.I am using DSI Video mode with double buffering, but i had some issues in the DSI video mode.I am using CO5300 driver-based 466 X 466 Display which supports DSI video modeI successfully got a display displaying the actual GUI but it is slightly shifted from the left and from upper and bottom side as well I am attaching images here; the first image is the simulator, and the second is the actual display.Simulator Image:Actual Hardware:My configuration for clocks are as  given belowMy MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init() function looks like belowstatic void MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DSIHOST_Init 0 */ // Power up sequence HAL_GPIO_WritePin(PWR_EN_GPIO_Port, PWR_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(BACKLIGHT_EN_GPIO_Port, BACKLIGHT_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(PANEL_RESET_GPIO_Port, PANEL_RESET_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(VCI_EN_GPIO_Port, VCI_EN_Pin,

Hello, from recently I have a problem using STM32F407VGT6, moreover, I am unable to get consecutive conversions in the DMA buffer. For example I want to use Dual Regular Simultaneous ADC mode to obtain results from 4 channels (2 in ADC1 and 2 in ADC2). However, when I start my application only the first iteration is obtained, second part of the buffer is never filled(i.e. CHN3 and CHN4 are never read if CHN1 and CHN2 are rank 0 in ADC1 and ADC2).Setup:main(void)#include "main.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ /* USER CODE END PTD */ /* Private define ------------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PD */ /* USER CODE END PD */ /* Private macro -------------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PM */ /*

Hi.,Could anybody point me to a working example of a working basic IEEE  802.15.4 communication example, NOT Bluetooth, pure radio frequency in 2.4Ghz.I spent about 2 months trying to figure this out for my WB55 series without success and can't waste more time now. There are supposedly tons of examples on the internet, but all are Bluetooth, which I don't want. None for 2.4ghz RF.The https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:Introduction_to_802_15_4 page is of now use as there is not example code. Thanks for any help or guidance.Steve

QuestionI implemented a custom bootloader with USB DFU. It worked without issues on my Windows 10 computer. After switching to a Windows 11 machine, however, my DFU device is no longer recognized. What I’ve triedConnected the device again on Windows 10. It appears in Device Manager, plays the connection/disconnection sound, and read/write operations work with STM32CubeProgrammer. This confirms that neither the bootloader nor the USB cable is the root cause.Installed STM32CubeProgrammer on Windows 11, but it reports “No DFU detected.”On Windows 11, there is absolutely no activity related to the DFU device in Device Manager. Other DFU devices, such as the STLink, are listed and working correctly.RequestWhat steps can I take to get my DFU bootloader detected on Windows 11?

Nucleo Board STM32F401RE , STM32CubeIDE 1.19 16x2 LCD confirmed to be working using Arduino UnoHi, I am just starting with STM32 and trying to figure out my way around it after using Arduino Uno for a long time for simple projects with sensors. I installed IDE , created a new project, selected my board from the first menu and so far everything is OK. I generated code without changing anything related to clock or the pin out. The problem is that even though I have not added any code to the project, the IDE opens a different c file every time I upload code, sometimes with a HAL in the name other times it opens this file startup_stm32f401xe.s and highlights this line ldr sp, =_estack /* set stack pointer */I went back and enabled the builtin green LED and added 2 lines in the while to toggle it every 500ms, then uploaded the code but weirdly even after the upload is finished sometimes the LED would start toggling on and off but on the next upload it wouldn`t. the exact

../Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/include/mvp/MVPApplication.hpp:22:10: fatal error: new: No such file or directory how to solved this? cubeide 2.0.0 GNU  Tools for STM32 (14.3 rel1)

In the linker script provided by STM for STM32G474RETx, the memory section is:MEMORY { CCMSRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 32K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K } But in the reference manual RM0440 section 2.4 page 88  it states that:Category 3 devices feature up to 128 Kbytes SRAM:• 80 Kbytes SRAM1 (mapped at address 0x2000 0000)• 16 Kbytes SRAM2 (mapped at address 0x2001 4000)• 32 Kbytes CCM SRAM (mapped at address 0x1000 0000 and end of SRAM2)I'm confused as to why the RAM is declared as 128K when that's the combined total of SRAM1 + SRAM2 + CCMSRAM, and there's also CCNSRAM declared separately. Is it so that RAM covers all SRAM but you can also place specific things in the CCMSRAM section?

I am using STM32H750B-DK  (DK32H750BSAT1). Following st tutorial in:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx7xHRH9YXg The project built and ran successfuly on the board. Unfortunately upon implemeentig the updateDate on a textArea the update stopped completely for both time (was originaly uopdating before adding the text widget) and date. I have then deleted the textArea widget and commented out the relevant lines in the script, the update returned normally. I suspect the typogrphies is the root cause of the problem (I need advise on that. MyGFX is 4.26.0 , I couldn't get my way around Texts smoothly).

We have TOF data collected every half hour, but we are surprised by the results, as the TOF data is not consistent each time.

We are developing sensing device with using VL53L0X,  we will use optical lens on top of  VL53L0X  for special sensing purpose then in order to optimize lens design with effecive sensing, we would like to know dimension of both sensor and emitting chip sizing and distance from Chip to upper casing,
