Hi,I'm using STM32L072 Discovery Board and generated UART code using CubeMx, I'm able to transmit the data via UART but not able to receive the data. Please help me in this regard.int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */   /* USER CODE END SysInit */   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART2_UART_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */   /* USER CODE END 2 */   /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ HAL_UART_Receive(&huart2,buffer,4,5000); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,buffer,4,100); /* USER CODE

Hi, I'm having a hard time understanding the HAL_PCDEx_SetTxFiFo() function that I should call inside the USBD_LL_Init() function for my Stm32L476. I have attach my descriptor results from USBTreeView. But here the highlight:My composite device have multiple interface: 1 HID interface1 interrupt IN EP 0x831 interface for application 1 Bulk IN EP 0x841 Bulk OUT EP 0x04 1 interrupt IN EP 0x851 ISO IN EP 0x86IAD Link both CDC interfaces1 CDC Control interface1 Interrupt IN EP 0x821 CDC Data interface1 Bulk IN EP 0x811 Bulk OUT EP 0x01I did keep the IAD and CDC as the last into the descriptor since it seem to confuse some COM driver. But I still have a hard time with my endpoints and the call to init the TX buffer, I'm not sure I do the right thing.Does HAL_PCDEx_SetTxFiFo() use for the fifo 2nd argument :the endpoint id without the direction (& ~0x80)?the order they appear into descriptor and interface number? What is it represent exactly? Can I skip some? How much can be used, is 6 to

Hello,I tried to access external nor flash in stm32h743 eval board. After configuring it I can view the memory in debugger (IAR).But it fails when trying to access it from debugger memory view (0x60000000) - after erasing the sector.I see that the HAL API for accessing the NOR flash HAL_NOR_Program is setting the address in HAL driver: /* Send program data command */ NOR_WRITE(NOR_ADDR_SHIFT(deviceaddress, uwNORMemoryDataWidth, NOR_CMD_ADDRESS_FIRST), NOR_CMD_DATA_FIRST); NOR_WRITE(NOR_ADDR_SHIFT(deviceaddress, uwNORMemoryDataWidth, NOR_CMD_ADDRESS_SECOND), NOR_CMD_DATA_SECOND); NOR_WRITE(NOR_ADDR_SHIFT(deviceaddress, uwNORMemoryDataWidth, NOR_CMD_ADDRESS_THIRD), NOR_CMD_DATA_PROGRAM);Probably these address setting can explains why trying to access it like a regular memory in write - does not work.Is it correct that flash NOR is not memory mapped in write ?Thanks

After upgrading STM3CubeMX to Version 5.1.0, I started to encounter the Code Generation problem. Even after upgrading Keil uVision to Version V5.26.2.0., the problem is still persist.

Posted on February 10, 2015 at 15:24The title really says it all. The pin description for the LSM9DS1 says that the DEN_A/G pin is the Accelerometer/Gyroscope Data Enable. This sounds important, but I can't see anywhere in the datasheet that explains what you're meant to do with it. Can I just tie it to 3.3V, since I want data to always be enabled? Or tie it to ground? Or maybe to the CS_A/G pin, so that it only takes readings when I'm not actually communicating with it? The only thing I can't do is connect it to a microcontroller pin, because I've run out of those. Thanks for any help #data-enable #lsm9ds1 #den_a/g

hi i'm reviewing rm0008 ref manual for stm32f103 the adc.accordingly, adc clock max is 14mhz and it takes 14 adc clock cycles for 1 conversion - hence 1msps per ADC.however, from the RCC section the available prescalers are 2, 4, 6, 8and if we take 72mhz / 6 that gives 12 mhzand if we assume it still takes 14 adc clock cycles per conversion, that gives 1m x 12 / 14 ~ 857ksps per adc?does it still takes 14 adc clock cycles per conversion if the adc clock runs at 12mhz?in addition, it seemed there isn't really a feasible way to achieve 14mhz on the adc clock ?thanks

i have making a project which i can simulate the project but i can't run the same on my target.

Hello,I am working on a project for a STM32F767NIHx. I am using the STM32CubeMx tool and validating using RM0410. The problem I am having is that the i2c4_tx peripheral is not listed in dma1 stream5 on page 248 of the reference manual. CubeMx, however, gives dma1 stream5 as an option for the i2c4_tx. If I had to guess, I would say that the reference manual is wrong here and dma1 stream5 channel2 should actually be i2c4_tx instead of i2c4_rx, but I was wondering if someone could verify this for me.Thank you very much for your assistance.

Dear STM, please fix the defines in stm32h7xx_hal_tim_ex.h as at least TIM_TIMx_ETR are either empty or wrong, according to the datasheet. Here is a short example, _NOT_ stating all incorrect positions:NOW, IN THE FILE stm32h7xx_hal_tim_ex.h in STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.3.2 :#define TIM_TIM5_ETR_GPIO (0x00000000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to GPIO */ #define TIM_TIM5_ETR_SAI2_FSA (0x00000000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to SAI2 FS_A */ #define TIM_TIM5_ETR_SAI2_FSB (0x00000000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to SAI2 FS_B */CORRECT, according to RM0433 Rev 5, p. 1686/3247#define TIM_TIM5_ETR_GPIO (0x00000000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to GPIO */ #define TIM_TIM5_ETR_SAI2_FSA (0x00001000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to SAI2 FS_A */ #define TIM_TIM5_ETR_SAI2_FSB (0x00002000) /* !< TIM5_ETR is connected to SAI2 FS_B */This is a critical bug.Thanks,Maximilian Rest

Posted on January 31, 2018 at 11:17Hello everyone, after update of STM32CubeMX it started to generate simply uncompilable code for TrueSTUDIO.When I select FATFS od FREERTOS and TrueSTUDIO as a IDE, after compilation, functions like HAL_Init(), osThreadCreate(), osKernelStart(), HAL_RCC_OscConfig(), HAL_SD_ReadBlocks_DMA()and similar are marked with errors 'Undefined reference'.However when I choose only SDIO, all HAL functions are compiled without problems.I've got Atollic TrueSTUDIO® for STM32 v9.0.0, hovewer I don't think that problem is in IDE.When I generate code in CubeMX code for MDK-ARM v5, everything compiles without problem. From attached projects, only SAMPLE_SDIO.ioc works.Does someone have similar problem?

Is there any CAN Examples for STM32F1 Series, using the latest HAL Drivers (V1.7)? I see many examples for SPL, but have yet to come across an example with the HAL implementation. Thanks!Target: STM32F103C8T6Configuration done by CubeMx STM32F1, but struggling with the application aspects of the project. Ideally looking to use an interrupt driven implementation.

Hello all,I will start by saying that I am new to STM32 development and that your patience is very appreciated for what I hope is a simple problem.I am working with a X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 mounted on a NUCLEO-F401RE.I have successfully imported the example project 'Polling' from the X-CUBE-NFC5 software expansion into Atollic TrueStudio and have uploaded the code to the board. The behavior of the compiled code is apparently identical to that of the included binary; everything seems to be working fine in the default configuration. The 'Polling' project has USART debugging on USART2 by default. This is a bit of a problem because in order for the USART2 pins (PA2 and PA3) to be accessed from the NUCLEO-F401RE expansion board's headers, SB62 and SB63 must be closed (I've verified that this works and that I can read USART2), but doing this sacrifices the ST-Link functionailty (which I want to retain). This topic is discussed here: https://os.mbed.com/forum/platform-34-ST-Nucleo-F401RE-community/top

I'm using the SPW04SA module and want to write sensor data to the Azure Storage Table service. To achieve this I have to add special headers to my requests.Until now I couldn't find out if/how this can be done using AT+S.HTTPPOST and AT+S.HTTPGET. As I understand the documentation I can use the files <in_filename> and <out_filename> to achieve this. However I couldn't find an advice, in which format the 'Custom http request" must be present in <out_filename>. (By the way: For the HTTPGET command the meaning of <in_filename> and <out_filename> seems to be swapped. The response body can be found in <in_filename>)

Hi,I'm using CR95HF to comunicate with a ST25DV.I want to write/read the ST25DV mailbox of 256 bytes but the CR95 dont allow.I've been looking in the source code of the CR95HF demo board and found a patch command to increase the buffer. After that if I use the command 0x24 instead the 0x04 (SendRecv) it is possible to send more than 255 bytes.Incredibly I have not found any documentation that explains this patch and how the new commands work.Where I can get that information? Thanks

Hello,I am using a Bootloader which jump to operational application.the Bootloader configures SRAM, so that operational does not need to do it again.Bootloader is baremetal , and operational is freeRTOS.I use IAR.Everything works well if I reset the board, and "Attach debugger to running application".But If I try to: reset board and debug&download the operational application it hangs. It seems that the problem is that on debug&downloading the application all FMC register are set to zeros. But I don't understand who is responsible for setting registers to zero. where in IAR did I configure such reset of registers ? I did not find anything in IAR debugger configuration which explains me this reset of registers values (which were set in bootloader). Thanks for any idea, ranran

HiFor some time I have been using the ST-Link programmer from a NUCLEO-L452RE board for programming a custom STM32 board (external MCU). It has been working very well.Recently, I have acquired a NUCLEO-L452RE-P, which has a bit different ST-Link programmer. For instance, it uses a micro USB connector as opposed to a mini connector. Also, it has an extra jumper. But aside from that, they look pretty much the same. The thing is, I cannot get the NUCLEO-L452RE-P programmer to work on the same custom STM32 board. I have connected it the same way as I do for the NUCLEO-L452RE using the same SWD cable. Both ST-Link programmers have the same (latest) firmware V2J33M25.I use Atollic TrueSTUDIO which reports the following error:Error in initializing ST-Link device.Reason: (4) No device found on target. Can anyone explain why they are not compatible?Thanks/ abaldur

Hi I am using STM32Cube V1.0 , version 4.24.0 along with Atollic TrueSTUDIO® for STM32 V9.0. Within Cube I created the project with USB, and created the source code. When I try and compile it I get a bunch of HAL errors, HAL_init() undefined and a bunch of HAL_RCC... commands undefined. I havent done anything different as I have done than creating other projects , straight forward. The .h files seem to be there. Has anyone else have this issue, or know what I have done wrong? ThanksScott

Posted on October 29, 2015 at 11:54In the last version of RM0360,page 722, there is no description about the unique ID. But following the instruction of RM0091 I have read the 96bits ID out in some of my F030C8T6s .These numbers from several chips are different with each other and fit the formation described in the manual-have the same lot number but are different in wafer numbers and x y coordinates.

Hello,I am using a custom container which is used in most of the screens as TopBar showing various details. The details are varied by using depending on the backend values of the system.Normally, we use Model-Presenter-View for communicating with backend. But how to control the widgets of custom container as there are no presenter/view for it.Thanks,Ameya

I created a custom container in which I placed a scrollwheel.I added in the item template and selected item template both of which use text with wildcard placements. The problem arises when I select these text widgets to use a wildcard buffer at which point multiple identically named buffers are defined in the controls base class which cause the compiler to fail.I have replicated in a small project whch I can zip and email if you say who can deal with this.

When I try to set up quad SPI with dual bank on an STM32H7, I get the following message: "You must select a ChipSelect signal for Dual bank mode first"This is true even for a blank project with nothing else assigned. I don't see anywhere available to select the chip select lines.
