On page 92, table 7 contains flash memory addresses and their sizes. For every address range, the difference between the start and end address is 0x7FF, i.e. 2 KiB.However, for Page 127 in both Bank 1 and Bank 2, the range is listed to be 0xFFF, i.e. 4 KiB.The error here is that both starting addresses should end with '800' instead of '000'.Additionally, table 8 is missing a hyphen on its Page 127 address range.

Dear STM32CubeProgrammer Developers,I would recommend to add a select all checkbox/context menu to the page selector of the Erase flash memory table view: I have a 2 sector wide EEPROM emulated area at the end of the flash what I would like to preserve during the erase operation, and to do so I need click all the 30 items. If a select all feature would be implemented I would only need to select all and untick the last two. Thanks in advance!

hello, I am using L031K6 nucleo-32 board.for using low-power-comparator, I want to use VREF for input.before using, I did measure the internal reference Voltage by ADC.L031K6's VREF have internal connection with own ADC VREF channel,so without hardware setting, I just measure it.some configuring, then call the  HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc).the return value was '1509', I think it means VREF is equal to 1.1V, because its VDDA is 3V.is that true? why Is that so low? I expect it will be around 3v.here is my config code:************************************************************ ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0}; hadc.Instance = ADC1; hadc.Init.OversamplingMode = DISABLE; hadc.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV1; hadc.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc.Init.SamplingTime = ADC_SAMPLETIME_79CYCLES_5; hadc.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DIRECTION_FORWARD; hadc.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc.Init.ContinuousConvMod

I am working on an existing embedded firmware application on an STM32F746ZG that requires we add one more (9 total) UART.  There is an existing ST application note AN4457 based on the STM32F401RE that looks to be a perfect match for my requirements.  https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-stm32156.htmlI have been able to load up this application in STM32CubeIDE and get it running on the 401RE nucleo board. So far so good... I am a bit lost on how to migrate this application from the F4 series to the F746 nucleo. Is there an on-line resource that might guide me through the steps. I have tried many searches but my google-foo must not be up to the task. I have tried to make an empty F7 series project in the cubeIDE and port the code manually but after hours of working on getting the hal drivers to compile I can not get the correct project dependencies in place to be able to compile. Also does anyone have any concerns that the application note approach is possible

Hi everyone..I can't find a proper data sheet for STM32F446RE Nucleo-64 board in which memory maps etc are mentioned. I have downloaded many reference manuals and datasheets, but i cant find it in any of these. The one given on the product page does not have these mentioned.someone please share one with me if possible..

STM32F030R8Blank project, no CMSIS, no Cube libraries.Code copied from my old TrueStudio project.I use old startup_stm32f030x8.s with some modifications. If I change startup vector table start entry to my function (named not Reset_Handler but Boot_Start), then compiler works OK, elf contains correct vector tabledownloads and runs OKBUTdebugging by ST-Link (with unchecked "Resume" in Startup Debug Configuration settings):debugger shows my function (OK)disassembler window shows my function (OK)BUTPC register is set to Reset_Handler address (or junk if no such symbol)and attempt to step or run will go to bad address.Well, I can rename my startup function into Reset_Handler and old Reset_Handler (I will jump there in the end) in some Old_Reset_Handler. Then I can debug my bootloader and my application.Nevertheless it's an IDE Bug.(TrueStudio performed OK in that case).

I am using SW4STM32 as the toolchain in STM32CubeMX v5.4.0. The MCU I am using is the STM32H7 series. In order to transfer Toolchain to STM32CubeIDE v.1.1.0, like SW4STM32, STM32CubeIDE was selected in Toolchain and GENERATE CODE button was pressed. However, only Core and Driver codes are generated regardless of whether or not Generate Under Root is checked. Project files (.project, .cproject), .ld files, and startup code are not generated. As with other similar questions ( https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AlcdBSSQY/stm32cubeide-cant-compile-stm32cubemx-520-projects-for-stm32cubeide?t=1571237740185 ), I uninstalled Java and MX and did a fresh install with the 64-bit version, but that didn't fix the problem. Please let me know if there is a solution.

I have just received a P-NUCLEO-IKA02A1 with a NUCLEO-L053R8 kit. Having installed Nucleo-GUI, and expanded x-cube-ika02a1 files. When I reboot my windows 7 pc I can see a STLink virtual com port on COM34. BUT when I start Nucleo-GUI I can't find the NUCLEO-L053R8. what am I doing wrong?Yours Simon M.

Hi All, I'm working on a project wherein I required multiple UART. So, as suggested on my previous question, I've brought the NUCLEOF413ZH. Unfortunately, this NUCLEO has several issues. Currently, I'm using all the 10 UART, but some of them having "hard fault" on receive Interrupt (there is no issue with my buffer management because code flow is not even entering the IRQ functions) and some of them printing GARBAGE on transmit line. I've checked everything but couldn't find anything wrong with my code!Still, if anyone could review my code whether is there anything wrong with my initialization part or some predefined macros, library or controller issues. Moreover, can anyone suggest me a suitable crystal value for this board, which could fit perfectly and I can get 100Mhz system clock. Board: NUCLEOF413ZHLibrary: Standard peripheral libraries (STM32F4xx_DSP_StdPeriph_Lib_V1.8.0).ID: Keil uV5.0.

I have asked this on ST Online Support. Hey People,I am using an STM32F446RE in a product with a custom board and have been having some issues with the USB virtual com port communicating with NI-MAX. It is a very similar issue as to what is described in this post in the NI Forums.https://forums.ni.com/t5/Instrument-Control-GPIB-Serial/Connect-STM32-via-USB-using-virtual-COM-port/td-p/3750838?profile.language=enSetup is System workbenchSTM32Cube 5.3 with STM32Cube STm32F4 library 1.24.1NI-Max Visa 18.5In windows 10 I can communicate with the board using a terminal with no problems at all but NI-Max sees it as an unknown device. In windows 7 NI-Max can communicate with it normally with no issues. I have tried old versions of the HAL, I have tried variations of the hardware. I have also tried projects that only run USB and nothing else. I cannot get it to work reliably on windows 10.The forum post suggests that it might be an issue with the VCP drivers for windows 10 but I am not sure how to verify if this is the case. As suppo

I'm trying to use DHT22(temperature and humidity sensor). I'm using STM32F030F4 Here is it's datasheet DHT22 DatasheetIn first few seconds. I can get values. But after a while it stucks in here:So i try to implement a timeout to prevent this. I start another timer (TIM14). And after 2 seconds i try pull the pin to low manually. But as a result, variable 'k' (which is in the HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback function) never increments. So, again code stucks in same line. Could you help me, how can i implement a timeout to pull the pin low after a whileHere is the link of datasheet:https://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sensors/Temperature/DHT22.pdf/* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h"   /* Private variables ---------------------------------------------------------*/ TIM_HandleTypeDef htim3; TIM_HandleTypeDef htim14;   /* USER CODE BEGIN PV */ uint8_t Rh_byte1, Rh_byte2, Temp_byte1, Temp_byte2; uint16_t sum, RH, TEMP; ui

Hello! PCB Antenna for STM32WB shown in AN5129 Application note where used pcb stack-up with core 711.2 μm. Exactly the same antenna used in P-NUCLEO-WB55 (MB1355) where pcb thickness is ~1500 μm. How is it possible? How changes antenna parameters when thickness substrate is increased? In AN5129 written: "The electrical parameters and performance of the PCB antenna are also determined by the substrate used, inparticular the thickness of the core and dielectric constants." But in AN5165 recommends to use this solution for different stack-up. How is it possible?

Hello,I would like to use a global variable in a while loop in my main file. That variable will be set to zero in a interrupt. Unfortunatly the interrupts are created by the device configuration tool in a seperate file. In the device configuration tool there is a window in UART called User Constants. I have declared the variable there but I don't know what this does. It didn't create a variable in the UART init or UART interrupt function. I hope you can clearify this for me.Erwin

Hi,i'm trying to create a delay function for microsecond delays. But it doesn't work. I couldn't understand where the problem is. Could you please let me know?(i'm using stmf030f4)edit: To understand where the problem is i'm trying to create a milisecond delay function. And i set delay to 1000 miliseconds. But i see 8 seconds as a result. (and if set delay to 500 i see 4 seconds delay )void delay_ticks(uint32_t ticks)   {   SysTick->LOAD = ticks;   SysTick->VAL = 0;   SysTick->CTRL = SysTick_CTRL_ENABLE_Msk;   // COUNTFLAG is a bit that is set to 1 when counter reaches 0.   // It's automatically cleared when read.   while ((SysTick->CTRL & SysTick_CTRL_COUNTFLAG_Msk) == 0);   SysTick->CTRL = 0;   }       static inline void delay_ms(uint32_t ms)   {   delay_ticks((ms * 8000)); // number of ms*8000000 can overflow so i use 8000 instead of (ms * 8000000) / 1000)   }

Howdy, folks. I'm new to the ST universe but have plenty of embedded experience. I have a BlueNRG-2 evaluation board and an ST-Link interface that I have been working with. Here is the problem - I can open a sample BLE peripheral example in Atollic TrueStudio, then successfully compile the application to Elf/Bin/Hex format. If I download that app using the UART loader for the board, it executes and runs normally. This is an unmodified sample program directly from ST. If however I attach the ST-Link to the board and run the code from inside the debugger, it does not fully execute properly. The program loads, I get the usual breakpoint at the start of main, and I can continue the program (or step through) as desired. The code follows the source as expected. If at any time I continue the program, it hangs (I could post the details of exactly where here, but I'm not sure that's relevant) before entering the main while loop during peripheral initialization. I can also step into functions an

We have developed the product with the STM32F030C8 , now we are going for the Mass production . But different device ID for the different product , can we use the Unique device ID for the same .

Hi, I am currently having an issue where the MotionFX_manager_run Function is taking 4ms to process, blocking and starving other tasks. I am running at 48MHz on the STM32WB55 using the softfp compilation. How can I reduce the processing time of the function and double check it is using the FPU?/* Run Sensor Fusion algorithm */ PORT_LPUART1_RX->BSRR = PIN_LPUART1_RX; MotionFX_manager_run(pdata_in, pdata_out, MOTIONFX_ENGINE_DELTATIME); PORT_LPUART1_RX->BRR = PIN_LPUART1_RX;Thanks,Daniel

Hi,I'm here to ask if someone knows a safe way to convert other analog sources using the ADC macrocellsof a STM32F407ZE MCU used to spin a BLDC motor by means of a FOC 4.0 library.I mean, is there a way to correctly hook my code to the ADC IRQ Handler employed by FOC to manageits tasks? Unfortunately we haven't the code of FOC library, so I do not know how to accomplish this task.I have to convert the analog signals coming from 4 NTC resistors, and other two signals. They are attachedto ADC channels belonging to ADC2 and ADC3 (someone told me that FOC uses ADC module 1 and ADCmodule 2).At the moment the only way to accomplish this task is to run this code (after FOC initialization): /* Enable ADC2 and GPIO clocks ****************************************/ RCC_AHB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_AHB1Periph_GPIOA, ENABLE); RCC_APB2PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB2Periph_ADC2, ENABLE);   /* Configure ADC2 Channel3 pin as analog input ******************************/ GPIO_InitStructure.GPIO_Pin = GPIO_Pin

Does the STM32F0x1 line have SWO (the output trace) in its debug port?Reading the User Manual of STM32F0-Discovery (UM1525) it looks like SWO is on pin PB3.But the Reference Manual for the board's STM32F051 (RM0091) does not even mention SWO, only SWCLK and SWDIO.What am I missing?

Hi, I have a Nucleo-F746ZG development board and I'm trying to get LwIP and FreeRTOS going on it but when I use CMSIS V2 it constantly goes into hard fault. If I use CMSIS V1 everything is fine. Any ideas what parameter in the RTOS config could be causing this? I'd prefer to use CMSIS V2 since it offers a few new features that V1 does not. Thanks,Doug Burrell

I am using TxBufferCompleteCallback in order to verify that messages have been sent over FDCAN on the STM32G474RE board.I have verified that the callback is run, which means it's been activated correctly. After the first run, it is no longer called, and my application is halted, because it appears that the TxBuffer has not been sent yet. In reality, the buffer is sent, and it is successfully received on the other end.The IRQ_Handler is not getting its TxBufferComplete flag set, so there isn't much I can do in the way of figuring out what's happening. The back and forth communication between my devices goes like this from the perspective of the G4: Receive, Send, TxBufferComplete, Receive, Send, waiting forever for sending to complete. The board I am communicating with is an H7 board known to work correctly. Is there some API function that I missed, or is this a firmware bug?Anything you wish to know about my setup which may help, please ask and I will tell.

Hello!I have designed a custom board, i have attached the schematic of it. My problem is that I have an ST-link v2 and i cant connect to it, i get target not found. Is my schematic correct or I have missed something? I have power and ground on all necessary pins on my board. I connected VDD, GND, SWDIO and SWCLK to my board from the ST-link, I used pins 1, 7, 9, 20. I tried to swap the pins of the data and clock signals, and all the settings in the ST-Link utility. My programmers firmware is up to date.Best regards,Attila
