Solved

Hi fellow programmers! I need assistance on where I would start in trying to flash/store live new data into an STM32 micro controller and then retrieving it to use again in the case that it resets or turns Off/On. Any key words or directions would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently saving user data to sector 7 on a STM32F446 board. I need to move that into one of the 16k sectors to keep the erase times small (would prefer to use sector 0, but any 16k sector will work). I am using a linker script to set up memory sections, and when I try to run my program it doesn't start. The vector table and code are also saved to flash sectors, so what I need help with is moving the code to a different sector such that when I start the program it will load from whatever sector I have moved the code to.Here is a snippet of my linker script BEFORE I started making changes to move sectors around:MEMORY{RAM (xrw)     : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128KFLASH (rx)     : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K - 128kDATA (rwx)     : ORIGIN = 0x08060000, LENGTH = 5120}/* Define output sections */SECTIONS{ .user_data : {   . = ALIGN(4);   KEEP(*(.user_data))

My office computer only have internet access via virtual machine, So i can't download the templates in the TouchGFX Designer. How to install the STM32F746G-DISCO template offline?

Hi everyone,I am using STM32L496G-Discovery_Azure example in X-Cube_Azure IoT Kit and encountered the problem below.When building hsm_client_data.c, gcc couldn't find includes.args. I am using System Workbench IDE to build the project. Just import the project without any modification.Building file: C:/Users/parad/Documents/stm32_workspace_ac6/STM32CubeExpansion_Cloud_AZURE_V1.2.1/Middlewares/Third_Party/azure-iot-sdk-c/provisioning_client/adapters/hsm_client_data.c Invoking: MCU GCC Compiler C:\Users\parad\Documents\stm32_workspace_ac6\STM32CubeExpansion_Cloud_AZURE_V1.2.1\Projects\32L496GDISCOVERY\Applications\Cloud\Azure\SW4STM32\STM32L496G-Discovery_Azure\Debug arm-none-eabi-gcc -mcpu=cortex-m4 -mthumb -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -DSTM32L496xx -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER '-DMBEDTLS_CONFIG_FILE=<mbedtls_config.h>' -DENABLE_IOT_INFO -DENABLE_IOT_ERROR -DENABLE_IOT_WARNING -DDONT_USE_UPLOADTOBLOB -DAZURE -DUSE_MBED_TLS -DHSM_TYPE_X509 -DHSM_TYPE_SAS_TOKEN -DUSE_PROV_MODULE '-DEINVAL=

We are developing an application to drive dual PMSM motors with STM32H745 and FOC algorithms and resolver sensor. The inner current loops are executed at 10 kHz, PWM carrier frequency is set to 20 kHz. Is it feasible o run the entire application code on M7 only with 30% throughput margin? Does MC_SDK require the use of M4 coprocessor?

Hi everyone,I am trying design a custom container that needs to "handleDragEvent" function. But this function cannot be overridden in a container, as far as I see. This function can be usable when you work in a screen. But when you work in a custom container it's not working. I tried create a function for drag event in custom container and call this function in a screen's "handleDragEvent" function. Like that; void testScreenView::handleDragEvent(const touchgfx::DragEvent& evt) { if(customContainer.isVisible()) { customContainer.customDragEvent(evt); } }When I do that custom container drag event works very well. But this time screen's scrollable containers not working properly. What should I do? Anybody have any idea? Thanks in advance.

please any one explain me how different MNO profile downloaded to eSIM ST33. Which communication is used to communicate with ST33 in order to download a profile ? and how to activate this profile?also i would like to know how remote profile management can be done in ST33

Good morning, Please could you kinldy advice me which are the most efficient middlewares suitable to ST25 NFC / RFID Tags & Readers et ST25DV-PWM série to connect with any ERP inventàory management software? Many thanks for your support and contacts suppliersbrgdsMatt

In order to be able to read-out the version numbers of my firmware (and some magic number) from the .hex file (by some external update tool), I define some constants to be written to a custom flash sector:/* * Constants which should go to specific locations in flash */ /** Firmware major version */ __attribute__((section(".inv_constants"))) \ static const uint8_t SW_VERSION_MAJOR{0}; __attribute__((section(".inv_constants"))) \ /** Firmware minor version */ __attribute__((section(".inv_constants"))) \ static const uint8_t SW_VERSION_MINOR{1}; /** Magic number for update tool */ __attribute__((section(".inv_constants"))) \ static const uint32_t MAGIC_NUMBER{0x18273645};In my linker script, I have added the following:/* Memories definition */ MEMORY { INV_CONST (r) : ORIGIN = 0x08010008, LENGTH = 63K - 0xF FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08020000, LENGTH = 896K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K CCMRAM (rw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 64K }.inv_constants : { KEEP(*(.i

I am running into a very odd issue where the pull-up on GPIOC, 6,7 and 8 do nothing.Using debugger and comparing to other pins with nothing connected I see IDR reflecting status of pin with pull-up or pull-down enabled. This does not happen for these pins on revision 2 and 4.Chip is reset, clock domains enabled for GPIO and chip halted. PUPDR register fiddled with in debugger. Works for some pins not all, even though they are externally floating.

ST Team support to build Self test library for STM32H753 ?. I have download STM32-CLASSB-SPL  and it's supports following device,Available for STM32F0, STM32F1, and STM32F3 seriesDerived packages are available for STM32F2, STM32F4, and STM32L1 series (not certified)But we are looking for a STL source code for STM32H753 to integrate with product software.or I have to modify the library code w.r.t STM32H753 chip configuration ?Thanks,Karthikeyan

Hi,I am trying to send a CAN FD message with a STM32H743, using initialization code generated by CubeMX. Attached you can find a screenshot of the CubeMX settings. The clock to the FDCAN module is 100MHz. This is the code I use to send the message:HAL_FDCAN_EnableISOMode(&hfdcan1); HAL_FDCAN_Start(&hfdcan1);   FDCAN_TxHeaderTypeDef header; header.DataLength = FDCAN_DLC_BYTES_8; header.TxFrameType = FDCAN_DATA_FRAME; header.BitRateSwitch = FDCAN_BRS_ON; header.ErrorStateIndicator = FDCAN_ESI_PASSIVE; header.FDFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_BRS; header.IdType = FDCAN_STANDARD_ID; header.TxEventFifoControl = FDCAN_NO_TX_EVENTS; header.MessageMarker = 0; header.Identifier = 1234;   uint8_t data[8] = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7}; HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ(&hfdcan1, &header, data);Unfortunately, only a standard CAN frame is sent, not a CAN FD one.Does anyone have any idea why?

Some info: Working with the CR95HF NFC Reader/writer. NFC tag is a Mifare Ultralight EV1, ISO14443A type 2 tag..My current anticollision sequence is as following (I send the commands with sendreceive of the CR95HF library):REQA "2607" ATQA "80054400280000"Anticollision 1 "932008"Answer anticollision 1 "800888044AE422280000"Select 1 "937088044AE42228"Select 1 Acknowledgement "800604DA17080000"Anticollision 2 "952008"Answer anticollision 2 "80085A734D81E5280000"So at this point you know the ID of my tag, in this case its: 044AE45A734D81However, to ''confirm'' to the reader that this is the whole tag, the select 2 step needs to be executed. I try the following:"9570" + part of ID retrieved during Anticollision 2 step + "52" (also from anticollision 2 answer) + "28" = "95705A734D815228"This results in not finding any tags. How does this work? From what parts is the Select 2 statement built?

Hello! I want to test the ST25R3916 discovery kit so I download the software :Graphical User Interface. the device is well connected. However ,I see an error that appears on the screen when i connect the card. as a result I can not active the USB mode, I kept the user button pressed while I power/reset the matherboard. I didin't succeed to connect the USB and the status turns always to red .Can you help to solve the problem please !Thank you .

I am using STM32F030R8T6, with 64kB flash size. Now I have <1k space left in the flash and whenever I load the ELF file with Atollic TrueSTUDIO the device doesn't work. The watchdog keeps resetting the device. However if I load the .HEX file, everything seems to work. I am a bit concerned and worried what is the problem? Because as soon as I delete something and the free space is >1000 bytes the ELF works. Does anyone know of this problem ?

Hello,My program uses two FSMC_Bank1 for the tft screen and memory (62WV51216ALL), NORSRAM3 is used for memory and NORSRAM4 for the screen, a problem has been identified that when accessing NORSRAM3 (memory), the CS signal (FSMC_NE3) goes low and remains so permanently. The same thing happens with the signal for the CS screen (FSMC_NE4) and when garbage from points are written to the memory on the screen. How can I return the CS signals to their normal position after accessing the right data source?

I am able to switch between the banks. But writing a software in the banks is failure one.

the target board that im using is custom made which is properly working with lauterbach debugger.

I'm looking for an AppNote or example showing how to enter STOP2 mode with BLE advertising enabled (low consumption, but BLE advertising). And how to : on any BLE connection, exit from STOP2.

Doing some electrical testing of a board I got back recently and It seems that the internal pullup of pin PA2 is applied at reset. Before flashing the device it seems that this pin is sitting high, and the voltage I see is consistent with the approx 40K of an internal pullup.PA2 is one of 5 wakeup pins. Can't see any reference to this pins pullup being engaged by default in the datasheet.Could it be that the pull-up is engaged by default rather than floating HiZ input as in the datasheet?

Hi I'm Using STM32l552QE MCU, so downloaded the ibis model of that MCU,But i found that the same packages are differentiated with _p &_q( stm32l552_562_ufbga132_p,stm32l552_562_ufbga132 & stm32l552_562_ufbga132_q).Kindly help me to know difference.stm32l552_562_ufbga132,stm32l552_562_ufbga132_p.ibs,stm32l552_562_ufbga132_q.ibs are the models.I have tried checking but, i couldn't find the difference.Kindly help me to know the difference.

Hi,I have several projects in SPC5Studio and I want to have common files shared by them, in order to modify these common files only once. So I'm trying to use linked files. I have introduced a linked folder in my project by selecting:New project/Advanced/Link to alternate location (Linked folder)/BrowseThe folder is included as linked folder. The problem is that when I build the project I get an error, because common files are not found. What am I doing wrong? Is this the right way to have common files shared by several projects in SPC5Studio?Thank you in advance for your help.

0x1000 is listed twice (for A, 1.0 and Z, 1.1). Furthermore, I came across a G030J6 with 0x1001, which does not exist according to this table. Package bears 'Z' as rev code.

Hi All,We are using SPC560pxx series development board and it is configured with SPI,CAN,UART,ADC,DMA,PWM,ICU and other modules. We initialized the PWM, it's running proper for few seconds. But after some time, PWM stops generating interrupts. We checked it by toggling GPIO in the ISR.We have some confusions to understand it.  1. How the controller is ignoring PWM interrupt?2. How we can make user controller should handle all the interrupts. 3. How we can sequence the ISR handling? Please help me to solve this problem.Thanks,Basava.
