I have generated MDK-ARM project from the USART_3_Receive_Send example from stm32 mat target example, I have successfully compiled all and burned to stm32f103 board, when connected to terminal it finds, it is sending unknown chartacters to terminalI have attached the project files with this message, kindly someone check

Hi Everyone ! I have a problem for calculating timer for 1ms. I attached configuration for clock and timer. As I understand Timer2 uses APB1 Clock Bus but for timer it will be APB1x2 if APB1 prescaler is not " 1 "So when I use Prescaler 59999 for 60Mhz APB1 Timer clock difference between my timer interrupts are 2 ms.When I use Prescaler 29999 for 60Mhz APB1 Timer clock(which I attached) difference between my timer interrupts are 1 ms.Is there any timer configuration calculation problem ? I have never meet this problem before other STM mcus.My Firmware is STM32Cube_FW_L4V1.13.0Thanks in advanced

I can't really see how the "Expression" window in the STM32CubeIDE in Debug mode is interpreting arrays. I have an array "receiveData" with 7 uint8_t elements that I receive via UART. When I check out this array under "Expressions" I see that the array has 7 elements, just as expected. But while the value is != 0, all array elements are shown with value 0! I would have expected the first to Hex-digits from "value" belonging to element 0, the next two digits to element 1 and so on.And in the detailed window at the bottom of the screenshot it only shows 6 times "\0" under details, not 7 times. So my two questions are:Why are all elements 0, while the value of the array in general is != 0?Why is the "Details" parameter showing less elements than the array actually has?

Where do I find top IC marking?? Should not it be in the datasheet? Customer wants to check parts coming onto their CEMRgds Yves

I am looking to create a project where I can set/latch the interrupt pin INT1 on high when the LSM6DSOX is detecting state X (where X is state 1/2/3 etc.) and goes down (low) when in a generic/static state (state 0). How is this possible? I found in one of the application notes that the PAGE_RW flag (17h) has something to do with the flag. However, I am not able to find how I can customize the output signal like described above.Has anyone experience with interrupts and how should one do this?

Hello. I am using Steval - spin3204 and motor jk86bls71-03-x001. I am building a project for Keil in ST Motor control 5.4.3. But I can’t start the engine with or without Hall sensors. I tried to make various configurations of PID controllers, PWM parameters, time, etc., but nothing works. Please tell me, if someone has a working project so that I can do it by analogy. A project that is located on the ST website is compiled with errors. Here is the project I'm working with

product link is here https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/p-nucleo-ihm001.html. The purpose is to control the motor to run as requested, in the product page, I'm a little confused, I start the board f302r8 and start a project, then where to get the help of HAL functions for this? such as drive the motor clockwise, anti-clockwise, ** secs, ** rounds Many thanks

Hi,I have recently bought an STM32 Nucleo-64 G474RE. I want to use this MCU for FOC with a BLDC. I have seen there are many libraries available and there is the ST Motor Control Workbench tool available. But I am confused as to which tool and/or library I should use with this board. I have never done FOC before but I know theory behind it and I would like to, at least, develop a program using the resources available. Please your help would be really appreciated.

Also would the Motor Control Workbench be compatible with my MCU ? (I have no motor or powerboard at my disposal due to the quarentine)

Hi,I am trying to use the MC workbench with a Nucleo-64 G474RE MCU. I have checked the boards in the software but mine does not appear. Is there any way I could use the Workbench with my Nucleo-64 G474RE MCU ? Any board form the ones listed which is similar to my MCU so that I can use it to write an FOC program and try it out in my MCU ? Please any help would be really appreciated.

I am a bit new on stm32 hardware and TouchGFX and I have the following problem. The screen slide transition works when running the simulator but not on the board.Tested the UI template named Transition Example and instead of sliding between screens the screens switch in an instant on the board while it works in the simulator. The slide animation on screen changes also does not seem to work on the TouchGFX Demo 1. They work for the simulator but not on the board, and looking at the demonstration on the Touchgfx Youtube page the screen transitions does not seem to work there neither https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7nBx23a8x4.From reading previous questions on this webpage my best guess is that the Animation Storage is not configured but the links referred to are to the old documentation and no longer seem to work.If the Animation Storage is the problem how do I configure that? Are there any Examples capable of running on the STM32F746G Discovery board that have working sliding screen trans

Update, choose "gnu11" not c11 for language standardHello, I'm new bird on STM32CubeIDE, create a new STM32L071CBTX project from STM32CubeIDE first to configuration our pin definition and another resource than to generation code and try build the project will get the below error message but on another STM32F429/CortexM4 project the compiling passed and run well on chip. I have a project which uses multiple identical boards and needs them to have slightly different firmware. So I thought that having a folder for each firmware with its own main function in one project will be efficient because all boards will use the same libraries and I won't need to maintain multiple projects at one time. So is it possible to set up a project with multiple main functions in Cube IDE? If yes, how I can do it?

Hi, I can't fix why cubemx is stucking while copying files for code generation. I'm using Win 10 (64bit) and Java_Runtime_Environment_(64bit)_v8_Update_45. Can someone please help understand how to fix it ?

Heyain both the flash example and my personal implementation the CFG and lib files for the eeprom_emulation_driver are missing which prompts the error  Any ideas ?

The X-Nucleo-NFC06A1 mentions 1.7W output power with differential antenna.I understand that the ST25R3916 chip is capable of 1.7W max output. I've been unsuccessful in finding out what the output power of the DISCO board is.

I’m using NFC05A1 and the STMF4xx-Nucle-Polling project. I’d like to interact with  a Mifare classic card 1K. I am aware Stm won’t provide any code that would deal with encryption and this is not what I’m asking for. The issue I encounter is about the first step after SELECT : this is a clear text message, starting with 30 then the sector number. What I expect is the card answering with a nonce. The issue I encounter is I receive a ‘framing problem’ or ‘timeout’ error message. Here are the first four requests, which are working fine I think, the fifth one does not.* Request 1: Answer to rfalISO14443ATransceiveShortFrame  (with RFAL_14443A_SHORTFRAME_CMD_REQA as a command) is : 04 00.* Request 2: Then there is another rfalISO14443ATransceiveShortFrame   instruction this time with RFAL_14443A_SHORTFRAME_CMD_WUPA*Request 3: Then a rfalNfcaSelReq  structure is set :selReq (rfalNfcaSelReq  structure)selReq.selCmd = 93 selReq.selPar =20rfalNfcaTxRetr

I would prefer range over data rate and was wondering if the NFC forum matching from the ST25R3911-DISCO board would apply to the 3916?

The X-NUcleo-NFC06A1 measure ~1.3uH, whereas the ST25R3916-DISCO measures close to 1uH.

I'm looking for V1.1.1 of I-CUBE-LRWAN, but it's not possible to get older versions from product page... :(

Hello, everyone.I looked at the difference between VOS0 and VOS3 through the datasheet to set the clock speed of STM32H753 to a suitable value.I am currently setting the system clock at 200 MHz and the FDCAN input clock at 50 MHz.When set to VOS3, the datasheet says that the system clock can be set up to 200 MHz and the FDCAN input clock up to 50 MHz.I wonder if there will be any abnormalities when I use the same value as the maximum.

I have the STM32F429 Discovery development board. I want to send and receive data from the USB port. I will use Virtual Com Port for this. When I connect the Micro USB port on the card to the computer, it does not appear as a device. I use Keil as the compiler. My operating system is Windows 10.
