On the 3916-DISCO board, how does one switch to NFC forum matching instead of the on-board VHBR matching?

I would prefer range over data rate and was wondering if the NFC forum matching from the ST25R3911-DISCO board would apply to the 3916?

Hello SSita,

This is not possible. Both matchings are designed for different antennas. Therefore they cannot easily exchanged. To increase the output power / read range, please follow AN5276 - Antenna design for ST25R3916. The Q-factor should be choosen as high as possible according to the supported bit rates and the target matching impedance can be lowered. AN5276 should give some guidance about the selection.
