Hello,I found firmware a package from ST web for ST25 application: STM32CubeExpansion_NFC4_V1.5.2.But it is for STM32L0, L4 and F4 series MCUs. If I use STM32G0 MCU, any related package is available?I tried to add the package in the STM32CUBEMX for STM32G0 MCU but it doesn't work.If such package is not yet available, if any plan in future? Thanks,Mark

Hello,I have an application where I would like to switch the STM32G431KB into the built-in bootloader (using USB DFU) by sending a specific byte through the CDC Virtual COM port. I was able to get the unit into DFU mode by running the "USB_BootloaderInit" function below when a button is pressed, however when I try running the function upon reception of data from the CDC port, Windows either does not see the device or gives me a "Device Descriptor Request Failed" notification.I get the feeling the USB port is still doing some work or there are interrupts still running, but I am not sure how to go about checking what is going on or properly clearing any pending interrupts, or what exactly is going on and I wanted to see if anyone could help point me in the right direction. This is the function that allows me to enter into the bootloader:void USB_BootloaderInit() { volatile uint32_t addr = 0x1FFF0000; SysMemBootJump = (void (*)(void)) (*((uint32_t *)(addr + 4))); //Point the PC to the Sy

I am using a a very recent version of STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.3.1) and STM32CubeMX (5.6.1.202004052303). I created a new project for the Nucleo-F207ZG board.I have enabled LWIP and then enabled UDP but the "IGMP module" has no "enabled" option. Is there some dependency that I am missing? Can anyone else enable IGMP?

Hi,I am using STM32WB to do development. Since SDK1.7 has been released with some issues fixed, I want to show the BLE stack version in debug log to prevent using old stack version but it seems no HCI API to do so. I only can use the command "VS_HCI_C1_DEVICE_INFROMATION" in transparent mode to get BLE stack version.

Hi, I'm stepping through the code on Nucleo-F446RE board and doing the following:LL_I2C_GenerateStartCondition(I2C1); step++; while(!LL_I2C_IsActiveFlag_SB(I2C1)); LL_I2C_TransmitData8(I2C1,BMP180_ADDRESS_WRITE); step++; while(!LL_I2C_IsActiveFlag_ADDR(I2C1)); LL_I2C_ClearFlag_ADDR(I2C1); LL_I2C_TransmitData8(BMP180_REG_OUT); step++; while(!LL_I2C_IsActiveFlag_TXE(I2C1)); step++; LL_I2C_GenerateStartCondition(); step++;The documentation says that SB flag is "Cleared by software by reading the SR1 register followed by writing the DR register, or by hardware when PE=0"But at the before the 5th line of my code the debugger shows the SB flag is still 0b1, but LL_I2C_IsActiveFlag_SB reads the SR1 register, and LL_I2C_TransmitData8 is writing to DR register. So why is the flag still set? Am I missing anything here? And my second question is about BTF flag.Again documentation states that BTF flag is "– Set by hardware when NOSTRETCH=0 and:– In reception when a new byte is received (including

Hello guys. As indicated in the title, I have an STM32H7B3I-DK board here with me. I am trying to play with it but currently having a hard time to load the code to the board from Keil MDK v5.23. When I compile the project and press a Download button, I get Internal Command error as indicated bellow:ST-Link Debugger is selected for Debugger in Keil uVision project:Also, I used ST-Link Upgrade to upgrade ST-Link firmware to the latest version. The board seems to be functional because I can connect to it and program it using STM32CubeProgrammer but not with Keil MDK. Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?I used Keil MDK with Nucleo-F401RE board without any problem. Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.Sincerely,Bojan.

Hi guys, I want to use 10 external interrupts. 9 of them are working fine, but one of it makes trouble. I'm using CubeMX and configured the 10 pins as external interupt with falling edge detection and enabled the interrupts. The pins are: PB6, PB7, PF0, PF1, PF2, PF14, PF15, PI9, PI10 and PI11. Interrupt on PF0 is handled with EXTI0_IRQHandler() and works fine, PF1 with EXTI1_IRQHandler() works fine, PF2 with EXTI2_IRQHandler works fine, PB6, PB7 and PI9 are handled with EXTI9_5_IRQHandler() and works fine and finaly, PI10, PI11, PF14 and PF15 should be handled with EXTI15_10_IRQHandler(). It works for PI11, PF14 and PF15, but PI10 is not working. First I was thinking about an hardware issue, so I checked the falling edge with the oscilloscope and it looks fine. Then I checked the register. GPIOI_IDR: When the signal on the pin is high (3,3V), IDR10 is 1, when its low (0V) its 0. So there should not be a hardware or connection issue. MODER10 in the GPIOI_MODER register is 0 (the pin is

Hello, I'm trying to work with The STSPIN32F0A to drive bldc motor and do some position control. Unfonrtnuelly I wasn't able to find any of those apis in the library:GoHome(),GoTo_ABS (ABS_POS)GoTo_DIR (DIR, ABS_POS)GOTO (INC_POS)Dose anyone used those functions before? have you any idea where I can find them?Thank you :)PS: you can find the promotion of those functions in the document belowhttps://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/sales_and_marketing/promotional_material/magazine/group0/b8/49/b9/f1/f6/73/47/ec/stmicroelectronics-stspin-motor-control-2018/files/stmicroelectronics-stspin-motor-control-2018.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.stmicroelectronics-stspin-motor-control-2018.pdf

Hi - I took a new Flip32 Flight controller board out of its sealed bag and reflashed the latest clearflight firmware (cleanflight_2.5.0_NAZE.hex) using the Flash Loader Demonstrator onto the board in Boot mode. ( I also tried clearflight configurator, and STM32CubeProgrammer)It accepted the flash hex file and I could read the contents back and they were correct. But as soon as I power cycle back to run the program, it doesnt run, and upon investigation, the contents of Page Zero(0x08000000-EFF) are all 0xFFFFFFFFThere are no option bits set that I can see that would lock this memory from reading it, and the software doesnt run.Does anyone know how can this be and how to resolve it?

Hi,I'm using an STM32F334 in a Nucleo development board. I have flashed the device both with STM32 ST-Link utility and after finishing, I connect the development board to an external supply and the MCU does not start running unless the RST button is pressed. Then I wonder, for a series manufacturing system where the user will not be hittting reset, how should that be programmed? Or is any external hardware handling the RST pin? Thanks.

How do these series differ from each other? Especially "Cubewise"?Are there notable differencies in the Atollic/Cubeide user's point of view?Is this G4 basically F3 with F4 core?

Hi,This is the code snippet to animate containerAF1:void mainScreenView::handleTickEvent() { static uint32_t startMove = 0; startMove++; bool pr; if(startMove<40) pr = true; else pr = false; containerAF1.setVisible(pr); containerAF1.invalidate(); if(startMove>80) startMove = 0;}I expected the containerAF1 to be visible every 40ms.But it's visible about every 1second.So, how often handleTickEvent() is called? Are there any reasons why handleTickEvent() can be called less frequently than 1ms?Regards,Remigiusz Gajda

Hello, I am triying to use the STM32F407 with Freertos ,USB VCP and USART interrupts. My problem is when I include USART interrupts with Freertos, the interrupt is always running. I did other project without the Freertos and everything is OK. HiI am currently trying to create a delay function on my STM32F407 discovery board using a free running timer (I used TIM6 for this purpose). I set my counter clock frequency as high as possible and my max counter value to 0xFFFF. Based on my calculations, I should get a delay of approx 4ms:16MHz/1=16MHz counter clock frequency -> 1/16MHz = 62.5ns counter period.62.5ns*0xFFFF = 62.5ns*65535=0.0040959375s = 0.004s=4ms.I toggle an LED every time the counter has reached its max value of 0xFFFF. So in theory, it should be 4ms on, 4ms off. 8ms in total. However, using a logic analyzer, I get a period of 45ms, so a factor of 5 higher. Do you have an idea what could cause this behavior? Thank you,#include "stm32f4xx.h"   #define LCD_BOOTUP_MS 15   void funcTimerInit(); void delay_LCD(int delay); void funcGPIOInit();   int main(void) { funcTimerInit(); funcGPIOInit();   for(;;) { delay_LCD(LCD_BOOTUP_MS); }   }   void funcTimerInit() { // TIM6 setup //

Hi,I want to measure time between two events. The events come in as ext- interrupts. I set up a timer like this:TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM6_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END TIM6_Init 1 */ htim6.Instance = TIM6; htim6.Init.Prescaler = 49; htim6.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim6.Init.Period = 1; htim6.Init.AutoReloadPreload = TIM_AUTORELOAD_PRELOAD_ENABLE; if (HAL_TIM_Base_Init(&htim6) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_RESET; sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim6, &sMasterConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }Starting the timer HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim6);Trying to read its value in the ext-it gives always 1 or 0. I dont really understand what I am doing wrong.// diff is allways 0 or 1 (even when different times went by between the calls) uint32_t diff = __HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&h

Hi,I would like to start using my discovery board STM32F0308 without HAL library.Where should I start? Now I use CubeMX to generate Makefile but I would like to write this on my own, linker script and startup too.Shall I ask another question about programming only with using CMSIS?I'm tired of reading this tones of lines without understanding, I prefer bare-metal programming with registers.tl dr section;I want to just use text editor and command line to program and debug STM32s.

I'm working on a STM32H7B3I-DK with a 565 format frame buffer. In my design, the Serial Flash that contents the ExtFlashSection in a standard project will not be memory mapped because I need part of it to record other data.I followed the topics about caching bitmaps (https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/touchgfx-engine-features/caching-bitmaps and https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/scenarios/using-non-memory-mapped-flash ) In TouchGFX Designer, if I put the ’section’ part of the image to ExtFlashSection and the ‘Extra Section’ (e.g. the CLUT) in IntFlashSection everything is fine. But if I try to put the ‘Extra Section’ in the ExtFlashSection the engine crashes on a HardFault because the library code tries to access directly the extra section in a memory mapped fashion. Here is the state when hitting the HardFault exceptionEXEC_RETURN (LR):lr      0xffffffed -19xPSR&nbsp

I have been using CubeMX to generate the HAL library files and noticed that it only generates for the newest version only. I also looked in to the GitHub repository and under the release there is only about 2 very recent versions of the libraries.I want to get the distribution for the older versions and is there a way to get these? Thanks for the time

Wondering if the STM32l4 RTC could be used to wake the processor from standby mode after 1 month.Powered by the LSI, would the time drift beyond usability? Ie. It does not matter if the device wakes up 30 days or 31 days later. Just as long as its in the "ballpark".Is a 30 day wakeup interval supported? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone In Keil Projects we are able to change Stack_Size and Heap_Size in "startup_stm32f746xx.s" file like this :Stack_Size      EQU    0x400Heap_Size     EQU    0x200BUT in IAR projects there isn't such code line in the startup file related to the project. how and where can we change stack and heap size in IAR projects?RegardsMohsen

Dear all,I'm using the FatFS generated by STM32CubeMX and I have one question about file size: I'm using f_stat functionand read the file size from fsize field of FILINFO structure; when I open a file I can read the file size from obj.objsize field of FIL structure.I have seen that  the value is calculate differently but the value it's the same. Is it possible to use the FIL structure field or is it recommended to use the FILEINFO field because in some cases the value may not be correct? Thanks in advance.Luca G.

Background: I'd like to add a custom protocol stack on top of 802.15.4 MAC but place it all on CPU2 (M0) and let only the application reside in CPU1 (M4) - just like the pre-compiled binary with Zigbee. Is this possible?

Hello, according to the datasheet of STM32L072CB there is a margin of controllers which have at 26kHz@Xx°C or 56kHz@Xx°C (first row of table)? So in total there is a production margin (26kHz to 56kHz) and additionally a temperature drift during run time (second row of table)? Thanks for the help
