STM32G and STM32F differences?

How do these series differ from each other? Especially "Cubewise"?

Are there notable differencies in the Atollic/Cubeide user's point of view?

Is this G4 basically F3 with F4 core?

IMO the most prominent difference is the pin incompatibility, and it's not only between 'F-to-'G, but also between 'G0 and 'G4.

'G0 is replacement of 'F0 and slightly faster, with some added features. See AN5145 migration appnote.

'G4 is replacement for 'F3, although 'F3 already has the Cortex-M4 core, 'G4 ticks significantly faster and has the jumpcache a.k.a. ART as the 'F4 have.

For F3->G4, see the migration appnote, AN5094. It's in the nauseating modern look and feel, but at least it's finally out there.
