ST25RU3993-eval PCB Internal amplifier output differential traces don't look right for preferred impedance. See the traces circled in red. Shouldn't these be 100 ohm differential the same as the purple mixer feedback traces? The trace width in the layout is clearly not the same as the purple marked 100 ohm diff traces.

Posted on May 11, 2017 at 12:58Hi,i designed a flight controller board based on STM32F303. i have a weird problem where each time i assembled a complete board, initially there will be no problem and PC will be able to detect and connect with the board via USB VCP. but after a while, the board will be disconnected and USB VCP com port is not detected. i have to resolder usb pins (PA11 pin32 & PA12 pin33) or reflow the whole board, test it again, no problem but after awhile USB VCP is missing again. if i repeat the whole reflow & retest eventually the USB VCP missing problem goes away.the board is a two layer PCB with HASL lead surface finish. did i get a faulty STM32F303 batch or should i have used immersion gold surface finish for better solder connection? Please help me with this weird problem, thank you.#stm32 #usb #stm32f3 #vcp

Hy dear helpers,I am using STM32G431CB, I generated code with the help of motor control workbench. Everything works fine, but I can not count how many circles the motor rotated. I would like to do the following: Start the motor, do 5 whole circles, then stop.I have sensorless mode, and I have to do this not by calculating the time, but by the actual mechanical statement of the motor. Can you tell me how can I do this? Thank you all

Hello,Please help me with your opinions on my concern which is related with ease of reading and understanding. Please review my last comment that I uploaded to:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/issues/62Regards,Rajeev

Dear SirsIn the ST25R3911B_DISCO_FW_v1_2_8 code, the iso15693Inventory function does not response RSSI data. But in the Middleware i find a rfalGetTransceiveRSSI function that can read out the RSSI data. Could you please how to use rfalGetTransceiveRSSI function during ISO15693 inventory? Thank you.Best regards,Phil Huang

Given the controller 'hardware' structure I'm expecting a similar integration at firmware level like a resident rom with motor control primitives or an external library with some high-level functions. I tried to search on STSPIN32F0B product page but I haven't found much material about this (and almost nothing about motor control related coding).

Hi! My name is Vincenzo.I'm studying the board L432KC and I can't understand why using the HAL_UART_Transmit function I can transmit data on the terminal, while using the printf function nothing appears. Is there any preliminary operation to do? Thanks in advance for your support!Vincenzo

I wish to get proper ADC value by ADC-DMA multi channels. These ADC-DMA has 4 channels : trying to get 3 voltage data from 3 external port , and temperature data from one internal port.but I realize I get quite incorrect value from external port ,and also, temperature value is not trustable.I guess my receiving ADC-DMA value methode which is using Interrupt is not proper..So I will be very glad if you see my codes and check some possible errors.for rough explaination, I tried to make these steps for getting ADC-DMA multi channel dataADC DMA Init Timer allows DMA interrupt regularly When DMA interrupt, adding adcBufferinterrupt act 50 times, stop DMA interrupt and averaging of these added adcBufferread & use these averaged valuephase 2 runs againvoid DMA1_Channel1_IRQHandler(void){   HAL_DMA_IRQHandler(hadc.DMA_Handle);      // these "_total" value is unsigned long, these value will be averaged by " /MEASURE_RATE "    &

This errata is difficult to understand as written. Can you provide diagrams for Section 2.7.4?Can you confirm that if I use continue mode there aren't any problems?Help.

Hello, I have an issue with Cube IDE and a Nucleo-F722ZE board. When I want a baud rate of 9600 for the UART port I need to set it to 28800 inside Cube IDE for it to be the desired value. I've tested this with two different UART adapters and both indicate that this is really happening. UART parametersClock configuration of the board (the default one, I haven't changed anything here)Thank you very much for your help!

Hello,I'm currently developping an application on a STM32H7 with touchGFX.In touchGFX designer i've a text area and I want to change the text of this area when an action is done. Here is a part of my code related to the update of the text:Unicode::snprintf(textArea_resident_nameBuffer, 16, "%s", "ALBERT DUPONTEL"); textArea_resident_name.invalidate(); textArea_resident_name.setVisible(true);and the result (touch is the initial value and ???? is the value of the wildcard) :Is this the right way to changer text (by using wildcard because the function setText needs a TypedText and i didn't find a way to convert a String to a TypedText)Do you know where the problem can probably come from ?Regards,Ajt

Hello I need to use standby mode for my MCU which is STM32F103. In datasheets it says that when MCU is in the standby mode, pins are left in the High Impedance. However, I need these pins to be High ( these are output pins). Is it possible to achieve that? Or should I go with sleep mode or maybe low power consumption mode?Edit : And are there any coding examples for STM32F1xx to show how to enter Low Power Sleep Mode? Such as this one: https://www.digikey.com/eewiki/display/microcontroller/Low-Power+Modes+on+the+STM32L0+Series#:~:text=The%20STM32L0%20devices%20implement%20five,%2C%20and%20wake%2Dup%20sources.

HiI try figure it out the differences between table 185 and table 87 in the STM32H753xI data sheet.the Et, Ed and El totally different. in the table table 185 there Eg and Eo also and are not mentioned in table 87.what is the difference between rev Y and REV V?Thanks Ido

I'm planning on using a STM32H750IBK6 to measure some high-speed analog signals. I will use the 2 direct channels to measure the signals as fast as possible. Per Table 183 of the datasheet max sampling rate is achieved when the analog external input resistance is less than 47 Ohms. My circuit comes from a higher impedance source than that, so I will need an opamp buffer to provide the low impedance source. Is there an example buffer circuit or even part number that is advised to achieve <47 Ohm input impedance?

With CubeMx, I've set up the DMA in Circular Mode, Data Width Half Word, Increment Address Memory. When I get the generated code, I only see the code below. Where are the other initialization parameters? Is it because the DMA channel interrupt is enabled that they're hidden? static void MX_DMA_Init(void) {   /* DMA controller clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE();   /* DMA interrupt init */ /* DMA1_Channel1_IRQn interrupt configuration */ HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(DMA1_Channel1_IRQn, 0, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(DMA1_Channel1_IRQn);   }In the file stm32g0xx_hal_dma.c , I see the generic initialization routine shown below. But why I don't see it in the generated code?HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_DMA_Init(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma) { /* Check the DMA handle allocation */ if (hdma == NULL) { return HAL_ERROR; }   /* Check the parameters */ assert_param(IS_DMA_ALL_INSTANCE(hdma->Instance)); assert_param(IS_DMA_DIRECTION(hdma->Init.Direction)); assert_param(IS_

Hi,I am trying to install the X-CuBE-Azure expansion for STM32Cube. See expansion packages page: https://my.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcu-mpu-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-expansion-packages/x-cube-azure.htmlI tried to integrate it the cube by using the Manage Software Pack in the Device configuration tool:Then I select "From local" and select the en.x-cube-azure.zip file. I get the following error:any ideas how to import that expansion into the cube?Is it better to do my own porting of azure to my STM32F7 from the original GIT?Regards

Hi everyone,I have an VL6180X connected to a PIC18F46J50. VL6180X is powered to 3V3 and I have implemented I2C routines and application code as in https://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sensors/Proximity/VL6180_ApplicationNote.pdf to work in single shot mode. However, when I am polling RESULT__INTERRUPT_STATUS_GPIO I always get 0x00, so I never get a range measurement.- I am not using GPIO0 neither GPIO1- On init, I am waiting until SYSTEM__FRESH_OUT_OF_RESET is 0x01 to set the VL6180X configuration.- On Start Range I am checking RESULT__RANGE_STATUS is 0x01, and then writting 0x01 to SYSRANGE__START- I have checked I2C communications and them works correctly.Any idea of what I am missing?Kind Regards,

I am using STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack (STM32WB55RGV6 MCU) and STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 SDK, I uploaded BLE_MeshLightingDemo code (without any edit) and provisioned the node using ST BLE Mesh app , all the elements in a node shows simillar models.I want to to run different models on different elements in a single node, help me please....
