Solved

Hello, I'm using the STM32L476RG and trying to receive data via UART.When I use the following code:int main(void){ ... HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart4, data_RX,20); ....}void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart){ printf("\nMessage received is: %s",data_RX);}This works just fine if ONLY the message received is 20 characters long. But not if the message is for example 15. I know that when my data_Rx is full, it then will be printed.I was wondering if anyone came across this problem and was successful implementing a solution. I tried some of the codes I found on the internet, but lot of them where really confusing.Sorry if this topic was already discuss. Any help would be awesome!Thank you.

I tried to modify firmware of ST-Link of NUCLEO-L053R8 using a tutorial. However, when I select CMSIS-dap in Keil (as mentioned in tutorial) it says "not a genuine ST device abort connection". Everything worked well before modification. Now I want to revert to original firmware but STM32 ST-LINK Utility doesn't detect board. When I connect board to PC, LD1 is green and LD3 turns on for a moment and then turns off. After trying to use CMSIS-dap and getting error, LD1 turns red.How should I revert to original firmware or bypass "not a genuine ST device" error?

My second question continues to be the how can this PCM value be converted to .wav format?i still need a deeper understanding into this domain , anybody over here can post suggestions ,links technical articles and can share their experiences for my learning would be really be appreciated .Take care allThanks in advance. Kind Regards --Shweta

Hello, the overcurrent and over-temperature trip (deglitch) times are not given in the datasheet. My focus is mainly on the OC trip time, that's because I intend on adding series inductors to the motor phases to protect from motor windings short, thus the trip time is required to determine the minimum required inductance.

Hello everyone, i'm working with a nucleo F401RE and the X-NUCLEO-IHM03A1 High Power Stepper Motor Driver (Powerstep01). I've been having problems for several days now and I've been looking for solutions but without success. I downloaded the .zip file : .x-cube-spn3 and my goal is to integrate it into a project on STM32cubeMX. But I'm already stuck at this level because I don't know which file to use and how... Could you help me please  Thanks for your Help !

my customer is asking for , to calcualte his sensors.Thank youIleana

Hi all,Thanks in advance for your timeregarding the specific microcontroller STM32G474RE which has a total of 64 pins. How can I know how many of them can be used as PWM outputs???Thank you

Hi! I'm can't understand SPI protocol on STM25R95ST25R3916. I tried to send commands via SPI like in datasheet but did not have any response. Do i need to toggle IRQ_IN pin every time i send a package over SPI? Will chip work without CS on every message ?

Hi, I have 50Hz sinewave with 660mVp-pk, should i connect this to SDADC analog input? It can measure negative cycle of the sinewave? i.e. If i configure SDADC as single ended zero reference mode then it can measure negative cycle of the sinewave?Nandish

I installed STM32CubeMX 6.2.0, the STM32CubeH7 1.9.0 and the X-CUBE-AZRTOS-H7 thinking that I would do Azure RTOS projects as I did using FreeRtos. Why didn't ST put Azure RTOS and its components as a midware option? As it does for FreeRtos. How to use the X-CUBE-AZRTOS-H7?

I am looking for NFC and HID card readers, I can't find the chip by surfing on site. I need help from the ST support team in finding the perfect reader for my application.

Hello,For a project I am running code on STM32F745VG. I would like to migrate and replace this MCU with a STM32F765VI with more Flash memory (2MB instead of 1MB). I saw that these two MCUs are pin to pin compatible, but do I need to modify my hardware (change resistors or capacitors for example...) ? What are the main differencies that could block the same code from running into the 2 MCUs?Thank you for your time.Regards

i AM TRYING TO INSTALL PLS UDE uising the recommended link: http://spc5.drive.cloudforge.com/projects/spc5tools/updatesbut all i can see is the following message.ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /projects/spc5tools/updates on this server.SPE 5 ide version 6.0Similarly i am getting the above error. Is some posts it was recommended to use UDE Visual Platform. but i am unable to locate its directory.Do we need to download UDE Visual Platform externally? is it a paid service?

Is there a replacement for stm32f429iit6?

I am currently using a X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 to experiment with the BlueNRG-2. I initially set the SPI rate to 1.25 Mbit/s, but later noticed in the BlueNRG-2 documentation that the maximum SPI rate is 1Mbit/s. My question is how strict is this SPI rate limit, and what is the reason for it (hardware limitations, software limitations)? So far, I've run a number of the examples with no noticeable issues at 1.25 Mbit/s. The MCU I am using has a maximum system clock of 80 MHz. Using the SPI prescalers, the highest SPI frequency I can achieve within the 1 Mbit/s limit is 625 KBits/s. I am hesitant to do this because I don't want to potentially limit the bandwidth of the BLE interface. It seems the only way to achieve the 1 Mbit/s rate is to reduce the system clock for the MCU itself (which would affect the entire application). Ideally, if the BlueNRG-2 could run fine at the slightly higher rate of 1.25 MBit/s (as it currently seems to be doing), it would be the best option.

I am currently using the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 to experiment with the BlueNRG-2. Using the getBlueNRGVersion function, I see that the hardware version is 0x12 and the firmware version is 0x2211 and had some questions on how to interpret this:I believe the hardware version represents bluetooth 5.0, but how is the firmware version interpreted? (I found some information in DT0074 that makes me think 0x2211 corresponds to V3.4.1a, but I didn't find any image with that version number on the ST website). The X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 is listed as bluetooth 5.0 compliant, while the standalone BlueNRG-2 is listed as bluetooth 5.2 compliant. Is this simply the result of flashing different BLE stack images (since the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 uses a BlueNRG-M2SP which contains a BlueNRG-2)?Does the BlueNRG-2 come preflashed with an image for use as a network coprocessor? Are there compatibility issues between the main application HCI APIs and different versions of the BlueNRG-2 coprocessor images?Where can I find docume

It is very important for a successful developer to use the latest features of the language. Please instruct me how this can be done. Thanks!

hey thereI have the code belowuint32_t startTime = HAL_GetTick(); while (HAL_GetTick() - startTime < 5000) { for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++) { if (strstr(InputMSG, answerSearch[i])) { resault = 1; break; } } }where I want to check if there are any match of answerSearch[i] within InputMSG array and if there is, jump out of while, but what I see is that the process lasts as long as 5000ms, even though the match is found. the thing is that even one match is enough and as soon as one match is found, I want it to jump out of while(). what can I do to make it jump as soon as it finds the first match?

Is there a FreeRTOS demo program, using STM32CubeMX to set up, for:STM3240G-EVAL - EVAL with STM32F407IG MCU orSTM32L476G-EVAL with STM32L476ZGT6 orSTM32F429IDISCOVERY with STM32F429ZIT6Any help appreciated I want to use STM32CubeMX to set upany of these eval boards, with FreeRTOS enabled, to create FreeRTOS code for testig

HiCurrently we are using the STM32G071 MCU, but we will running out of flash memory soon, so we looking for an alternative. I've seen that a bigger G0x1 (STM32G0B1) will be available in the second half of this year. Are there more details available for the release date? Will it be in Q3 or Q4?Will the G0B1 be pin and feature compatible to the G071 (32Pin QFN Package)?Thanks\Marco

I am working on a biomedical research project to study how a head impact, such as in American Football, is transmitted through the brain. To make this work, I need to embed the smallest IMUs into a synthetic brain. The IMUs need to be able to measure angular motion at 1000-2000 deg/s (no problem) and also be able to measure linear acceleration in the 200 - 400 g range. After days of searching, I am unable to find any IMUs that meet this criteria.Does anyone have any ideas?? Thanks, John

Hi. I am planning to use TDA7498E in one of my projects and was going through the datasheet of the same and got confused at one point. In the absolute maximum ratings, it is written that the INPA, INNA, INPB, INNB have the maximum input rating of -0.3V to +4V.The thing which got me confused is that since the analog audio signal is more or less like a sine wave with equal peaks both in positive and negative, then how are we supposed to provide the input to the TDA7498E?
