Hello, according to the datasheet for the LPS22HH, in Table 3 the temperature sensor operating range is -40C to +85C. Further down, it specifies that the temperature sensor absolute accuracy is +/- 1.5C from 0C to 80C. What is the accuracy from -40C to 0C?Thanks,Derek

When there is an ADC analog watchdog on DAC1 channel 1 output, cube generates the string ADC_CHANNEL_DAC1CH1_ADC2 (which throws an error) instead of ADC_CHANNEL_DAC1CH1.No big problems but worth telling.

I have problem with the DCMI in STM32H7A3.DCMI FIFO never get filled and the DMA interrupt never start. does any one faced this issue with this new uc?I have Camera system runs on STM32H743 and now we use the new STM32H7A3 but the problem the DCMI FIFO never get filled so the DMA never start the transfer. i have the Vsync and H sync working and the pixel clock too. I wonder if there is informations related to this new uc.

I am new to touchgfx ide and also LCD interface. i am planning to use STM32 with LTDC interface for interfacing TFT lcd. But i am a little confused while selecting the development board. I want to use a screen with a resolution of 800x480. but i can see some boards has that resolution but with a different interface (MIPI DSI). Which processor I can select from the STM32F4xxx series and development board (STM32F4xxx) that can drive LCD (800x480).

These errors arise at my first attempt to compile the generated code from the ioc file before coding any task functions. This is just to check everything is setup correctly before delving into code. Please note this is my first touchGFX app.

Hi,in my Project I need a millisecond timer. Therefore I try to use TIM3. Now I have the following problem.For example, when the MCU runs in Run-Mode at 80 MHz TIM3 fires every 1 ms according to its configuration. But when the MCU runs in low power mode at 2 MHz, TIM3 fires at a too low frequency (around a factor of 3). After studying the datasheet and testing around with the configuration, I have no idea what it is. I think the configuration should be ok. What am I doing wrong? Does somebody has any idea?Here is my configuration of the system clocks.void g_system_clock_config_lowpower(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInit = {0};   // Reset the RCC clock configuration to the default reset state. I start STM32CUBEMX as beginnger.so I refer to https://www.st.com/content/dam/kms/Contents/Reflibrary/STM32CubeMX_Quick_Guide.pdfbut it outdated. so i want get updated file. also i want to get STM32Programmer reference . ***Moderation Edit: please do not post your email address on this website***

Hi,I have been trying to flash the SD card of the STM32MP157A-DK1 following the instructions of the ST Wiki, although in this wiki the board used is the DK2. However the flashing process stops after a while and shows the errors that i attach in the pictures. The CubeProgrammer version is the 2.6. After some research i saw that another option could be execute the flashing process from the command shell but i have not been able to do it because it never finds the file to be flashed, despite copying it in the STM32CubeProgrammer\bin folder. Thanks in advance.

Hello,using STSW-ST25RFAL002 to version 0x020200U (RFAL Current Version: v2.2.0) I encountered a problem in card emulation mode, practically the state machine remaine blocked on the RFAL_NFC_STATE_LISTEN_ACTIVATION state indefinitely rfal_nfc.c: 518 the rfalNfcListentivation() function always return ERR_BUSY.This happened to me with several Android smartphones (with iPhone 2020 se no problem).I solved it by adding this patch:--- a/STSW-ST25RFAL002/source/rfal_nfc.c +++ b/STSW-ST25RFAL002/source/rfal_nfc.c @@ -516,6 +516,13 @@ void rfalNfcWorker( void )   /*******************************************************************************/ case RFAL_NFC_STATE_LISTEN_ACTIVATION: + if( platformTimerIsExpired( gNfcDev.discTmr ) ) /* Check if the total duration has been reached */ + { + rfalListenStop(); + gNfcDev.state = RFAL_NFC_STATE_START_DISCOVERY; /* Restart the discovery loop */ + rfalNfcNfcNotify( gNfcDev.state ); /* Notify caller */ + break; + } case RFAL_NFC_STATE_LI

My powerStep01 is constantly triggering the Overcurrent alarm whenever I give a movement command, even if there is no stepper connected. What could possibly be causing this? Previously I was getting a similar effect on the L6470 chip. When I turned off the overcurrent shutdown feature the chip fried and apparently took out GPIO25 of the Raspberry Pi that was command it. In both cases, the motors never moved.

I used STM32CubeMX to create the initial code for my STM32CubeIDE project. But looking over the generated code, I realize I need to make a change. How do I get back to STM32CubeMX from within STM32CubeIDE in order to modify and regenerate the code?

Hi,I wanted to generate interrupt on pins PC14 and PC15 on NUCLEO-F722ZE board but it doesn't work. In the board documentation I found that jumpers configuration should be as per screenshot. Since elements there are pretty small and I don't want to destroy my board can someone confirm if this is the reason why interrupts on pins PC14 and PC15 are not triggered?For other pins it works (I used the same code as below, only changed pin numbers). I also generated code in CubeMX and I don't see any difference.void EXTI15_10_IRQHandler (void) { GPIOB->BSRR |= GPIO_BSRR_BS14; //Light LED   if (EXTI->PR & EXTI_PR_PR0) { EXTI->PR |= (EXTI_PR_PR0); flagInterrupt = 1; } }   void Gpio_Config (void) { /* Enable clock for port C */ RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOCEN; /* Set the 15th pin to input */ GPIOC->MODER &= ~(GPIO_MODER_MODER15); /* Configure pull up on pin 15th of port C - set value to one == set bit 0th */ GPIOC->PUPDR |= GPIO_PUPDR_PUPDR15_0;

Dear Community,as a hardware developer I'm working on a project with ST25DV Tag.Now I'm facing some problems with the NFC Antenna and would like to try out some double sided ones. I have some example boards and also a list of ST approved antennas but I want to fit the antenna size to my application. That's why I need some formula to calculate.Unfortunately, I can't find any useful information on designing double sided antennas.Do you have any experience with it or do you know good whitepapers or tools to calculate?Of course I know the ST Antenna calculating tool but that's only for single sided antennas.Thank you very much!

Hello,I'm having difficulty in reaching the maximum RPM specified by my battery and motor combination using the B-G431B-ESC1 dev board. I'd expect about 10,000 RPM with a full battery but am only able to achieve ~4000 before getting a speed feedback fault. I'm using an 11 pole-pair motor rated 480KV at 21V (5S Samsung 18650 25R cells). I've used an LCR meter to measure the motor characteristics and have input them into the motor control workbench. I've had to manually adjust PID Gains in the advanced tab in order to get a successful startup as the motor profiler simply has not worked with my configuration. When I manually ramp up the speed, regardless of how quickly (1s ramp or 10s ramp), it'll cut out and report a speed feedback fault at ~3800 to 4200 RPM. This works out to around 42k to 46k eRPM that it trips at. Currently this motor is just sitting on my bench, no-load. I've commented out the "ESC applicaton" calls from main.c as the "waiting for signal beeps" were interrupting the

I’m attempting to optimize a process of loading a large file from eMMC flash memory directly into a SPI device with 8 data lanes. Originally, I meant to use peripheral to peripheral in the DMA component that comes internally with the STM32L5 series. However, the hal32l5xx_hal_mmc driver states“No general propose DMA Configuration is needed, an Internal DMA for SDMMC Peripheral are used.?I’m trying to determine the most speed-efficient way to manage this transfer. I’m currently experimenting with directly calling the OctoSPI memory mapped location as the data buffer in the HAL_MMC_ReadBlocks_DMA function but I’m having little success.Are there any examples of using MMC Peripheral to Peripheral DMA communication? How would this process be achieved?

Hello,I am writing a code to initialize the BMI055 IMU on my STM32F765. To do so I am using the HAL libraries to enable the SPI connection through DMA and the drivers provided by Bosch: bma2x2 and bmg160.The two sensors work perfectly when only one of the two is enabled, but together they don't work.// Init Gyro int32_t bmg160_sensor_init(void) { SPI_routine_gyro();   com_rslt_2 = bmg160_init(&bmg160);   com_rslt_2 += bmg160_set_power_mode(BMG160_MODE_NORMAL);   v_bw_u8 = C_BMG160_BW_230HZ_U8X; /* set gyro bandwidth of 230Hz*/ com_rslt_2 += bmg160_set_bw(v_bw_u8);   /* This API used to read back the written value of bandwidth for gyro*/ com_rslt_2 += bmg160_get_bw(&v_gyro_value_u8);   bmg160_set_intr_output_type(BMG160_INTR1, 0);   // 1. Hello,I'm working on an a project that uses an ST32G474, and it needs to run two different/independent applications. The project requires that from a reset, the device boots from Bank2 every time. The application in Bank2 will then decide if it is ok to then jump to, and start running the application that is stored in Bank1.The dual-boot example from ST isn't exactly what is needed, because it flips the BFB2 option bit during each boot, to toggle between banks. My application requires to always boot from Bank2, and then jump to Bank1, without going through a reset operation.From reset, I'm able to get App1 to run from Bank1 when BFB2 is cleared, and also from reset, I'm able to get App2 to start and run from Bank2 when BFB2 is set. However, when I try to jump from App2 to App1, I'm not succeeding. Through various different tests, it looks as though App2 somehow either jumps to itself, or I jump somewhere and just crash.I've tried to figure this out reading various different posts about

The steps to reproduce this build error:Use TouchGFX Designer to create simple GUI by using the template for STM32F769-DISCO.Build and Run it on target -> OKThen open the .ioc using STM32CubeMX to configure for Virtual Com Port.Use STM32IDE to open the project , build and run -> OKBut when we open the project using TouchGFX designer to edit some GUI, it had build error on target (simulation is ok).   Core/Src/main.c:24:10: fatal error: usb_device.h: No such file or directory     #include "usb_device.h"         ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~    compilation terminated.It compains as it cannot find the file that CubeMX just generated from step 3.Are my steps wrong to cause this? How to resolve this?

How to work on STM32 inbuilt 6 step drive with hall sensor interface. Does anybody know any datasheet or reference manual for this?

Hello, I am working on a Cortex M4 and I'd like to add some power-saving features to my program and figured I'd need to detect user activity. For this reason, I'd like to detect if a user hasn't tapped the touchscreen for x [e.g. 5] seconds, and if so:dim the screen's backlight as much as possible or, better yet, manually set the display to standby and disable touch sensing.clock-down the MCU.if a HW button is pressed, I'd like to wake the display back up again, and increase the clock again.Furthermore, I created a dedicated "charging screen" (basically only an animated battery filling up some bars in a loop) from which I want to go to power-saving mode even when a user touches the screen in order to charge faster. So, my questions are:Where is the `TouchController::sampleTouch(...)` method even called? I haven't found it anywhere in the code...Would the `TouchController` be the best place to put the logic for detecting inactivity?If not, where should I best put this kind of code?Thank

Hi,I have a NUCLEO- F401RE board with the X- NUCLEO-S2868A2 expansion shell and i want to test the examples, provide by ST, that the X-NUCLEO-SUBG2 folder contain.I import the border router and both of the udp's projects to see how they works (one by one of course) and in every of it i have the same errors. I do not change anything in the projects, just import and build it. Do you know what is happening?Thanks. In this image you can see the errors.
