I know that  I-CUBE-LRWAN v2.0.0 is now available, but there are still tutorials, etc, referring to the old version.The 'Debug' configuration builds OK, but the 'Release' fails with:make: *** No rule to make target '../STM32L072CZTx_FLASH.ld', needed by 'mlm32l07x01.elf'. Stop.The problem is that there is, indeed, no such file as STM32L072CZTx_FLASH.ld - only STM32L072CZYx_FLASH.ldThe 'Debug' build uses STM32L072CZYx_FLASH.ld - hence it succeeds.

Hello.I want to write a program on M3 HiBot TITech Tiny Controller.This board uses STM32F205 VCT7.I connected ST-Link / v2 and the board by JTAG to write the program.1 (JTAG on the board) → 1 (TVCC: ST-Link / v2)3 → 5 (TDI)4 → 7 (TMS)5 → 9 (TCK)6 → 13 (TDO)7 → 15 (STM32 RESET)8 → 18 (GND)I performed "Target"-> "Connect" of ST-LINK Utility, but an error like an image occurred.I tried looking for similar errors but it did not solve them.Please give me a solution.

1?I have choose STM32F437AIH6 , and want to add an extension SRAM , but MCU missing PIN FMC_A13，In this condition , is it feasible to use SRAM?2?Use Trace Macrocell function，but FMC_A19 and TRACE0 are the same pin . is it affect to code coverage test （Trace Macrocell） if i want use FMC_A19 to acess extersion SRAM？thankskyrin

Hello everyone,I'm using the STM32H743 and I would like to implement two SPI communications with DMA (SPI1 & SPI2). I followed the example provided with my Nucleo board which is working perfectly when I'm only using SPI1 but when I add SPI2 initialisation (by copying and modifying the code for SPI2), SPI1 does not work anymore (SPI2 never worked yet).It seems that is coming from the initalisation of the DMA with SPI2 because when I remove that part, SPI1 is working as expected.Before focusing on that issue, I have a little question about the initialisation.In the example code, the initialisation is done in a similar way in the main : SpiHandle.Instance = SPI1; SpiHandle.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_256;Can this code be replaced by something like this ?void SPI_Init(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { if (hspi->Instance == SPI1) // SPI1 { hspi->Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_256;and called in the main like this ?SpiHandle.Instance = SPI1; SPI_In

I have an STM32L432KB that I'm trying to use with STM32CubeIDE and an ST-LINK v3. It is on a small board, and the onboard hardware peripherals connected to the MCU are:   USB-C connector to dedicated USB pins.   Quad-SPI flash storage chip   I2S audio chipThe debugger is connected to:   Vcc   GND   RST   SWCLK   SWDIOI haven't tried to see if the peripherals work yet because I'm just trying to get it debugging reliably. About 1 time out of 10 tries, it will break on main correctly, allow me to step through for a while, then usually will lose connection. When it loses connection, it usually loses it aroundMX_USB_DEVICE_Init();or sometimesSystemClock_Config();The other 9 out of 10 times, it does not break at all. When this happens, the IDE automatically opens a tab right after debugging begins and switches to the file calledstartup_stm32l432kbux.sbut it does not break o

ST25R3911B, using the ST25RFAL001 and the NDEF library v1.0.4. I'm using the read example found in the ndef.chm file. It's detecting the card fine, but ndefPollerNdefDetect() is returning 0x5 (invalid request or requested function can't be executed at this time). Every very rare once in a while I'll get the same return code from ndefPollerReadRawMessage() so I know I'm close.The software loop is very small. It is being called in an endless loop with HAL_Delay(1), so it runs every 1msec.int nfc_loop(void) { uint32_t now; static uint32_t next_tick; rfalNfcState nfc_state; static uint8_t buf[256]; int err, nread;   rfalNfcWorker(); now = HAL_GetTick(); nfc_state = rfalNfcGetState();   if (rfalNfcIsDevActivated(nfc_state)) { rfalNfcDevice *nfcDevice;   rfalNfcGetActiveDevice(&nfcDevice); if ((err = ndefPollerContextInitialization(&ndefCtx, nfcDevice)) != ERR_NONE) { platformLog("ndefPollerContextInitialization returned (%d)\n", err); return; }

Hi guys. A quick question regarding the swd and debugging on the BlueNRG-M2 module.I have made a little breakout pcb board according to the datasheet: VDD and GND are connected to 3.3V.SWD pins DIO9 and DIO10 har connected to a JLINK (Base Segger), with VREF and GND according to JLINK pinout.I can identify the JLINK in both uVision and in the BlueNRG-X Flasher Utility (v4.1.0), but I am not able to connect and read out memory, perform binary download or do debug. I read that forcing DIO7 to GND during boot makes the UART bootloader start. I am not currently using this bootloader so I did not follow this procedure.Does the BlueNRG-M2 board have some sort of procedure that I am missing prior to a "normal" SWD or Debug session? Reset? Power cycle?FYI: The module is fresh out of the packet and does not have any specific sw on it that I know of.Thanks for any help.

I've purchased an STM32L0358-disco board and I'm trying to get USB CDC to work. Here's the steps I took:Create a new project for the STM32L0538 mcu in STM32CubeIDEEnable the USB peripheralEnable the USB Middleware and set the class to Communication Device Class (VCP)Using the Clock Configuration tab, set the USB peripheral to use the 48 MHz RC oscillatorGenerate codeRunFrom what I'm reading online and in the generated code, this should be sufficient to get Windows to recognize the device as a USB CDC device. However, I'm getting the error "USB Device not recognized". Looking in the device manager, Windows reports "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". As far as I understand it, code 43 means that Windows sees the 1.5k pullup on the D+ line, but the device is not responding.Am I correct in assuming that running this code, the device should show up as a virtual COM port? If yes, what could be going wrong here?I'm running Windows 10 20H2 (10.0.19042

Hi. We are using the RFAL implementation for ST25R3916, with I2C communication. We have a custom board and antenna. We are using the Polling tag detect demo app to do passive NFC-A detection. I have disabled automatic antenna tuning and set the I2C parameters in the IO configuration registers, through the custom analog config file. The problem is we cannot detect any tags. I2C communication and interrupts seem to work, initialization goes well and there are no obvious error events when debugging. I suspect it is some register configuration I have missed. But there are a lot of configuration registers and I am not sure which ones are relevant for me to look at. Can you give me some guidance?We always get ERR_TIMEOUT in the call to rfalTransceiveBlockingRx() with the following call stackrfalTransceiveBlockingRx()   rfalISO14443ATransceiveShortFrame()      rfalNfcaPollerCheckPresence()         rfalNf

I'm using the NFC06A1 and NFC-V tags with demo_polling.c and RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CUSTOM in platform.h During the DEMO_ST_DISCOVERY loop and when the case is RFAL_NFC_LISTEN_TYPE_NFCV I am querying the values of the st25r3916AatTuneResult (from st25r3916_aat.h) structure for aat_a and aat_b. The returned results really bounce around when I hold a tag within a set distance of only a few cm and vary wildly through the entire range. Is this the expected behaviour?Also, much like the GUI, what is the best way to see the results of automatic tuning using the RFAL library? Am I on the right track?

Hello All, I am using sleep mode to save power. I am using STM32L431RC & using CAN interface.I am able to enter into the sleep mode when a CAN message is received. But it doesn't come out when a CAN interrupt is received.My code for CAN interrupt handler HAL_CAN_GetRxMessage(&hcan1, CAN_RX_FIFO0, &pHeaderRx, DataRx); if(pHeaderRx.ExtId == 0x056E0410) {    if(DataRx[0] == 0xD0)     {    HAL_PWR_DisableSleepOnExit ();    HAL_ResumeTick();     }   else if(DataRx[0] == 0xD1)     {       HAL_SuspendTick();     HAL_PWR_EnterSLEEPMode(PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI);      } else     {}; }Any help will be appreciated.

If you run it with the reset pin, you can use the "__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG()" functionYou can see that "RCC_FLAG_PINRST" is set.However, when executed with "HAL_NVIC_SystemReset()", "RCC_FLAG_SFTRST" and "RCC_FLAG_PINRST" are set.My expectation is that only "RCC_FLAG_SFTRST" should be set.what is the reason?And "__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_LPWRRST)" doesn't work at all.//my codevoid main(){ if(true == __HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF2)) {   __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF2);   debug("wakeup pin 2\r\n"); } if(true == __HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB)) {   __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB);   debug("Standby\r\n"); } if(true == __HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF)) {   __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF);   debug("all wakeup pin\r\n"); } if(true == __HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_PWRRST))   debug("POWER ON RESET\r\n"); if(true == __HAL_RCC_GET_FL

Hello community members. I would like to know if it is possible to write firmware to an STM32 via CAN bus?I intend to implement something for this purpose.

I have a board with an stm32l431rc. I have some sample code generated by CubeMX, and it boots up just fine.I'm trying to work with zephyr v2.5.0. Zephyr has hal and pinctrl dtsi files for this MCU, so adding a new board was pretty straightforward.I start with the MCU running the CubeMX code, then flash zephyr's trivial programs like blinky or hello_world. I see my changes, and everything is good. I can keep reflashing the MCU without issue.However, if I power cycle the MCU while running zephyr code, SWD will only connect at 5 kHz. Once I use STM32CubeProgrammer to mass erase I can reconnect at 4 MHz.I'm using ST-LINK/V2 with the latest firmware.I saw this post and set RCC_HSICALIBRATION_DEFAULT to 0x10, but it didn't change the behavior.Any advice on anything else to check?Thanks!

Hi, I generated code for the STM32H735 discovery kit in cubemx 6.2.1, and noticed that it generates the folder Middlewares\Third_Party\FreeRTOS\Source\portable\GCC\ARM_CM4F\The STM32H735 contains a cortex m7 core (afaik), while the above directory contains the portability layer for a cortex M4.I am assuming this a bug in cubemx ? Or is there an explanation for the mixup ?What is the advised workaround ?RegardsBram

since last mounth, i cannot connect anymore to my sensor (TILE.BOX) by ble with windows 10 because the code are automaticaly generated. I suspect last update windows don't let me write the std code (123456). So did you know the issue? do you have contermesure? Without BLE, i cannot use Unicleo gui from laptop.Thanks for your help

Are all all H75* CPUs pin compatible. I would like to use LQFP STM32H750, but there is none stocked. Digikey has some H755 and H753 stocked. Can I use them, or what ever H75* CPUs Digikey happens to have when I'm ready.
