Hello,I'm working with the STM32MP257F-DK using the Yocto Project, and I'm trying to enable I2C in my custom Device Tree. However, I’m facing an issue where the I2C controllers remain stuck because of power-domain pending states. Here is the relevant dmesg output showing the problem:It looks like the D1 power domain never reaches sync_state(), which prevents the I2C drivers from probing correctly.I suspect a configuration issue in the power-domain hierarchy or in my SoC/board Device Tree, but I haven’t found the root cause yet.Could someone help me understand what is missing to properly enable the I2C controllers and bring the D1 power domain out of the pending state? Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi everyone,I think I’ve messed up my NUCLEO-H755ZIQ board. A few days ago, I accidentally unplugged the board while an active debug session was running. Since then, the board "dies" every time I power it off.To get it back to a working state, I have to follow this tedious process every single time:Set Boot0 to VCC.Connect via STM32CubeProgrammer (Power Down mode).Perform a Full Mass Erase.Disconnect and set Boot0 back to GND.Connect again and flash a simple .elf file (a basic SPI project that toggles an LED) just to verify it's alive. After this, I can debug normally in CubeIDE—until I power cycle the board again. This was manageable until I started working on a Bootloader project. Today, it took me all morning to recover the board because the bootloader logic seems to interfere with my "recovery" steps.I’ve already tried messing with Option Bytes and performing several mass erases, but the issue persists. It feels like the flash or the option bytes are stuck in a state that prevents a

Hello everybody. On STM32MP2, is it possible to operate only the M33 like a microcontroller, without booting the A35? Also, if only the M33 is operated, can major peripherals such as I2C and Ethernet be controlled from the M33? (I assume that PCIe would be difficult...)

Title edited to flag that this relates to a Black Pill & Clone ST-Link After much too much time searching and following advice from for the most part, outdated forum posts I have been unable to resolve my issue with win 11.I have a windows 11 machine (Microsoft Surface) up to date as of 28th January 26.ST Link Utility installed and wokingStCubeProgrammer 2.21.0 and working (apart from not seeing the STLink v2.0 hardware). Both installed as Administrator.Cube Programmer however refuses to acknowledge the STLink v2 when connected even though the driver reports it is working and indeed it shows up in Device Manager. I did try reinstalling and the other common resolve I see is to switch to Shared Enabled in the right hand panel. The odd bit is it just works on my Mac M2 Tahoma without any issues and displays the correct serial numberI would like to get it working on my Surface laptop as well as all my programming is normally done on that machine (XGecu T48).Here are some screen shot

The L6206Q datasheet Figure 14 "Typical Application" does not show the use of any additional SENSE_A or SENSE_B resistors connected to pins 45/46 & 15/16 respectively.  Section 4.3 talks about "the external current sense resistor normally used [being] eliminated."   AN1762 in section 3.5, discusses the selection of sense resistors and suggests that they might be part of the over-current setting process (which the datasheet suggests is handled entirely by the R_CL resistors). So which is correct? Datasheet or AN?  Are sense resistors required or not?  If they are required, how are they selected and how does that selection work with the selection of R_CL current limit resistors?

HiI am drawing a PCBA with STM32H7R3V8H6 but for the USB HS interface PHY its not clear which pins are USB differential D+ and D- data pins?krØystein

HiDo QUAD SPI require power on the VDDXSPI power pins?ADCs, what is the voltage reference buffer, VREF+ and VREF- , voltages? Can the internal reference buffer be used if VDDA is 3.3V and I want full scale 0-3.3V ADC conversion range?krØystein

The Reference Manual (RM0454) of the STM32G0B0 points to an old 2020 revision while on the website it shows 2025.I believe this is a mistake since there should be a newer revision of this RM with the fixed Flash section (STM32G0B0CE) unless ST only fixed the RM of the STM32G0B1.

Hey there community,As you can see I am trying to move the free Rtos and x-cube-st67w611 middle ware from the application context to the FSBL context, I am using the stm32n6 mcu series and MX 6.16.0 version.I failed to see the full message suggested by the MX tool, as to why this is, I also noticed that in the example projects the context is fixed to FSBL, hence doable. my intention is to develop in the FSBL content and latter migrate to the application content.Does any one have a idea of what I can do to?

Inside Cube config, i do not get the other internal connected pins on pin 14, only PA8... in older versions it was available. The chip is STM32U031F8... What do i do wrong.. i need to use the uart_tx function on pin 14... Thank you  Old version from Cubeide... New version from Inet : 6.16.1

Hello I am looking at the ST87M01 Startup sequence in ST87MXX Startup Application Note. For configuring the ST87M01 (Band locks, eDRX, PSM ...), I understand that I need to "Stop the NBIOT Stack", enter my configuration with AT Commands, store this configuration in flash and restart the module. is this correct ? How do I "stop the NBIOT Stack" ? Is it possible to bypass this automatic startup, i.e. send a first "AT command" at startup, execute a specific set of configuration commands, trigger the network attachment ... without rebooting ? Many thanks, Thierry

Here comes another query about the status of a HUB device for the USB Host library. I have been working with the driver from herehttps://github.com/moribr/STM32F4HUB/blob/master/Project/Middlewares/ST/STM32_USB_Host_Library/Class/HUB/usbh_hub.cand have the HUB functional but cannot seem to get the MSC initialized and working. Why does STM not support a hub in their HOST Library? There certainly have been enough inquiries.

hi all! i'm handling Foc-pmsm project, i use communicate ETH with other board via ETH but it connect too slow and open lost connection, i don't what issue because this is the first time i handle with ETH. can you help me take a look and show my mistake

In this IOC, touchgfx can only be placed in the "boot" sub-project. It cannot be placed in the "app" sub-project.

Hello. I have a custom board with original f103c8t6 (sampled from eStore). PWM for pin PB4 is not functional, but bit banging with gpio write works. If tim3 respective channel is configured as pwm output, the output is stuck at VCC.  I configured the board correctly in CubeMX, as every other pin works correctly (including pin PB5, same timer, different channel) and double checked it again and again. Unfortunately I can't attach a project that reproduces the bug at the moment as I moved forward by changing the operating mode of the board (it commands a MC33926PNB H bridge and instead of having the H bridges enabled and sending PWM over IN1 and IN2, i set them as high or low depending on the direction and pwm the enable input, which functions well), but in a few days I can reproduce it. I am curios about what can cause the strange behaviour. It's not a conflict between JTAG reset as I have SWD enabled and even disabled it for a test which led to the same results. Here

Extension 3.7.0st-arm-clang 19.1.6+st.10Hello,I am using CubeIDE für VSCode.I write programs for the STM32F756ZGTx. I have set ST Arm Clang as the compiler in CubeMX. Redirecting the output (printf()) via the serial debug interface is possible without any problems. When I try to output float or double values with printf(), I get some weird results.printf() with integer float/double yields correct results for integer float/double wrongprintf() with float/double integer always leads to incorrect resultsI repeated the experiment for double variables. The same problem occurs here as well.#include "main.h" #include <stdio.h> extern UART_HandleTypeDef huart3; double floatVar = 1.1f; void mainThread(void) { printf("\r\n\nHello from Nucleo F756 - float Test\r\n" "-----------------------------------\r\n"); for(;;){ printf("Float value: %f - Integer %u\r\n", floatVar, (unsigned int) floatVar); printf("Integer %8u - Float value: %f\r\n", (unsigned int) floatVar, floatVar); H

I am using a ST25R3916B with RFAL 4.0, connected to a STM32WB55 via SPI in a battery powered application, so naturally wakeup mode is used. Specifically inductive wakeup with auto averaging. For a short test on the table this works just finde, but when I let the setup run for multiple hours and thousands of wakeups, at some point it becomes unresponsive. If I measure the generated field via oscilloscope, I can still see the ~35µs pulses every 400ms, just as I have setup the mode, but there is no interrupt generated.I do not want to completely dismiss the possibility that the MCU is missing one interrupt somehow, but shouldn't a consecutive change trigger a new interrupt? What I have found in the AN is Values close to the edges can lead to a configuration that never wakes-up the system, so, if delta is the difference that triggers an interrupt, the reference value must always satisfy the following conditions: • reference - delta > 0 • reference + delta < 255Is there

Hi ST, How i can I use M33 co-processor of stm32mp257 series , and how can i connected debug with Cubeide, how can i use Ethernet port  through the Co-processor,Note: I am using Opnestlinux distribution package.

Hello everyone! In our system we have a set of subsystem that uses F4/F7 MCUs and one - with STM32H743 MCU. We want to use system CAN bootloader for all of them. Everything seems ok, except STM32H743 device. From AN2606 we know that it starts in bootloader with such FDCAN config: 'Connection bit rate 250 kbit/s', 'Data bit rate 1000 kbit/s', 'FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_BRS'. So, it waits for FD frames. The question is: can we use default CAN (not FD) with 250 kbit/s bitrate to update every subsystem there? Will STM32H7 recieve default frames and work in default  CAN formats?

Framebuffer is RGB565,Can I make a dynamic bitmap of ARGB8888? I made one by cacheable container and display the dynamic bitmap by a texturemapper but the image came out is not correct, something did appear on screen, but size and color not right. but if I change bitmap type to rgb565,the image show correctly, but with black background and  no alpha ,not what I wanted. There is enough  cache,I confirm the dynamic bitmap is created successfully on both type.I tried to display the dynamic bitmap by a Image widget, but the result is the same.In this forum,I can see a solution,to register a LCD32bpp class and set it as Auxiliary LCD in the hal.But I didn't found any thread on this subject. How to use off screen rendering of a textarea in a... - STMicroelectronics CommunityCan I get any help from any @st_it guys?

Background: I am using the STM32H747I-DISCO board and the BSP SDMMC example from the ST Repository as my starting point.  I can provide my code if necessary but wanted to keep post as short as possible.  I have looked at AN4838, AN4839 and AN5200 ST Micro Documents.  They are detailed but not getting me to my answer fast enough.   My Goal:I am trying to understand the detailed reason(s) why I need to enable the D-Cache when using FatFS calls with the SDMMC peripheral on the STM32H747I-DISCO board to avoid a timeout and also why I-Cache does not necessarily need to be enabled.     My Understanding to this point: The CLIFF NOTES of what I think I understand (between the ST documentation, AI hallucinations and true answers): Enabling the D-Cache reduces AXI bus contention since the IDMA in the SDMMC peripheral needs AXI bus to move data from the FIFO to SRAM on a very tight timeline, mandated by the SDMMC peripheral.  When you enable the D-Cach

Hi all,I'm struggling to get SPI working on my STM32U5G9J. Hello, I'm starting a new project with the N657 device.  I can't get the debug SWO port to work. 1- I'm redirecting the putchar to the SWO port: int __io_putchar(int c) { ITM_SendChar(c); // HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3, (uint8_t *)&ch, 1, 0xFFFF); return (c); } 2- The trace and debug clock is set to 8mhz 3- In the debugger setup, i enabled the port and set it to 8mhz 4- in the debugger, I enable trace 0, and enabled it.   Nothing ever seems to get sent to this window.  Note: I know the cable/usb dongle is good since it works with the h743.   Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks Matthew
