Hello!i am working with the STM32H745 dual core nucleo board.i have noticed that the app that i built runs perfectly when i debug it using IAR, on the other hand, it does not when i just connect the nucleo board to power and try to communicate with it.i tried to debug this using the LEDs on the board and found out that the last function to runis vTaskStartScheduler().what is the difference between running the app with debugging oposed to without it. please advise on how to debug this issue?thanks alot in advance

Hello,I'm working on an ultra low power application where the MLC of the LSM6DSO32X is used to wake up the mcu when interesting stuff is happening, in particular I implemented two decision trees, each one focused on the detection of a pattern. In order to reduce the false wakeups, I would like to apply the meta classifier only on one of the two trees, for the other one the counters are set to 0.Now the problem is that I don't understand how to do it with Unico. At some point of the MLC configuration in Unico, it ask for the end counter for the meta classifier (see attached image), however there is no way of configuring the sub-group of the meta classifier (I would like the counter to be 1 for the no_change result and 10 for the change result). It looks like Unico groups the DT result base on some internal rule that I cannot control. This is the meta classifier configuration in unico, I can only set the counter but I cannot configure the sub-groups. I would like to specify that the d

Hello everyone,I have Nucleo-L4P5ZG and the development environment is WIN10 , CubeIde1.4 and CubeMx 6.2.I am facing a strange behavior while I'm trying to debug a simple FREERTOS toggle Led code here are details:1- I started with Cube Mx and generated code for Cube IDE with the following configurations:Only GPIO Pin PB7 [LD2= Blue Led on Nucleo] configured as output Sysclk = 120 MHz drived by PLLCLK which is drived by MSI = 4MHzSelect FreeRtos Support without creating any OS resources except the Default taskSelect TIM7 as a systick timerand that's it.2- I put the toggle led code in the default task void StartDefaultTask(void *argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 5 */ /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { osDelay(1000); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, LD2_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); osDelay(1000); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, LD2_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); } /* USER CODE END 5 */ }3-Everything is working fine without launching the debug session4-When I started debug session the code stops at main function as expe

Dear Sir・I want to use BLE with B-L4S5I-IOT01A.(FreeROTS)・However, "UM2178" and "Table 1. FreeRTOS ™ porting abstractions" say "not available".B-L4S5I-IOT01A cannot use BLE?Can I use BLE if I create a project with CubeIDE and implement "STM32_BlueNRG1"?Regards

Hey,I have both a NUCLEO-L432KC and a NUCLEO-F446RE. I'm using them to interface with an ili9163c based display. When I hook up the display to the L432KC it works great and I get a single image that fills the whole display. However, I'm trying to transfer the project over to a F446RE but when I run the program on the F446RE it only draws on the top half of the display and repeats the image i.e. if you were to divide the display into 4 quarters it is only drawing in the top two quarters and each of the top quarters are a repeat of the image I want to fill the whole display. I've tried using the same clock speeds on the F446RE as the L432KC just to see if it was something to do with timing but it doesn't appear to be the case. I suspect this has something to do with DMA because when I hook it up to a logic analyzer I can see the DMA signal (MOSI) has two repeating versions of the image. Any ideas why the DMA on one device would be behaving differently from the DMA on another?I am using D

Hello,I worked with TouchGFX 4.16.1 fine, because of graph issue in 4.16, i've migrated to TouchGFX 4.17 and also CubeMX 6.3 ... after this updating touchgfx_init() function produce hardfault .... Please help me how can I solve this issue ....I work with STM32H743 ... D-cache enable ... dual buffer , External SDRAM...

Hi,I am using STM32H743ZI micro controller of LQFP144 package. My doubt is that in the data sheet they are mentioning that it has 2 direct channels for ADC but they are not mentioning what are the channels or pins offering thisThey are only talking about TFBGA240 +25 package pins offering this direct concept then what about LQFP-144 pins offering this.

Hi guys, looks after using "portYIELD_FROM_ISR(pxHigherPriorityTaskWoken);" the program gets thrown into this PORT: ARM_CM7 HEAP: HEAP4 .section .text.Default_Handler,"ax",%progbits Default_Handler: Infinite_Loop: b Infinite_Loop .size Default_Handler, .-Default_HandlerI have no idea the cause of this and would appreciate any tips or advice how to remedy thisfreeRTOSConfig.h/* * FreeRTOS Kernel V10.2.1 * Copyright (C) 2019 Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Hi,I have a firmware doing permanent acquisition and processing of a signal coming from SPI on the M4 side - consider it an audio stream.On-demand I would like to save the processed buffer (say ~10 consecutive buffers once in a while, e.g. 1s every 10s) from the SRAM to a permanent file accessible from the A7 Linux userspace. What would be the best way to do this with the least impact on the M4 load ?My first guess was DMA from SRAM to DDR and then have Linux write from DDR to eMMC/SD but isn't there a more direct way ? Thanks a lotYann

Hi,i can't find the reboot code the spc5 core.I mean the equivalent code for SPC5 of STM32 HAL_NVIC_SystemReset();Thank you

I got stm32l476g discovery kit.but I never found schemetic for stm32l476g discovery kit in "st.com"How can I find schemetic for stm32l476g discovery kit?

Hello communityI face the following problemI have a global data structure which contains several member variables, I use this data structure to handle all my global variables needs across my project.Such datatype is delcared in "globals.h", and a variable using this datatype is declared in "globals.c" and exported as extern always in globals.h.I want to assign some of these variables when TouchGFX interactions happen (like moving a slider or pressing a button) in my TouchGFX "view"The problem is, if I include globals.h in my "view.cpp", then the TouchGFX simulator won't build as it cannot find "globals.h".for sake of simplicityglobals.htypedef _myType{ int sliderValue; }myType;   extern myType myGlobalVar;globals.c#include "globals.h"   myType myGlobalVar;How should I access my global variables then without breaking the interface simulator?Matteo

I am using STM32H747BI MCU and I have one project to write the data to flash memory. I am using core 7 to write the data to flash. While writing, I have to encrypt the data. So I requested cryptographic library software expansion from STM32 and they provided me the software. From that software, I copied four files:stm32h7xx_hal_cryp.cstm32h7xx_hal_cryp.hstm32h7xx_hal_cryp_ex.cstm32h7xx_hal_cryp_ex.hAfter that, I put these files in respective inc and src folders and I uncommented #define HAL_CRYP_MODULE_ENABLED  from stm32h7xx_hal_conf.h. After doing all of these, I started to encrypt the data but in the project it could not find CRYP_HandleTypeDef . It shows the error unknown type name 'CRYP_HandleTypeDef'. Could anybody suggest me what the problem is because I don't know how to solve this issue as I have done all the things that needs to be done.

Hi!I'm currently having troubles jumping from custom bootloader to application.Working on STM32H733 MCU, the boot code that makes the jump is the following:void vSetupAndJumpToAddr(uint32_t flashStartAddr) { uint32_t i=0; // Disable all interrupts __disable_irq(); //correspond to assembly cmd: CPSID i HAL_MPU_Disable();   HAL_RCC_DeInit(); HAL_DeInit(); /* Clear Interrupt Enable Register & Interrupt Pending Register */ for (i = 0 ; i < 8 ; i ++) { NVIC->ICER[i] = 0xFFFFFFFF; NVIC->ICPR[i] = 0xFFFFFFFF; } // Disable I-Cache SCB_DisableICache(); // Disable D-Cache SCB_DisableDCache(); __enable_irq(); // Jump to user application uint32_t JumpAddress = *(__IO uint32_t*)(flashStartAddr+4); pFunction Jump_To_Adress = (pFunction)JumpAddress; // re-init stack pointer (first entry of the vector table) __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t*) flashStartAddr); Jump_To_Adress(); // *** codeline never reached *** Error_Handler(); }After that, I corre

Hello Community!I was using a system controlled with the STM32f105RC, I was able to program it with the ST-Link. In that system I got a problem so I had to change to another board with the same characteristics but, when I did so, I wasn't able to program any other system with that microcontroller.I used the ST-Link to program another system with a STM32f103 microcontroller an it worked, but with the board that I need to use It's simply not working. It's not only that board, I have another board with the same characteristics that I was able to program, but now I'm not able to program it any more. Any help will save me.Thanks!

Hi,we you generate a project start from TouchGFX Designer 4.17.0 for BUG STM32H735G DK boardpin mapping OCTOSPIM_P1_DQS and OCTSOSPIM_P1_NCS are not corretly maps respect to schema.

I have downloaded the tool and checked it with the Apex One Virusscan and there was no alarm. When I open the tool the executable will be immediately quarantined. Is there a known bug and can you help me with that?BR Marco

i want to flash program to target board and also debug which is suitable for my part number and also i want to flash program to target board without PC support for industrial purpose(SPC5-UDESTK-EVAL) is this ok for my requirement

I am using STMCubeIDE version 1.7.0 and I saw the generate code for the initializationhas different orders when I configured my ADC with DMASometime the code was generate with ADC init before the DMA init MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_ADC3_Init(); MX_DMA_Init();Sometime the code was generate with DMA init before ADC init MX_DMA_Init(); MX_ADC1_Init(); MX_ADC3_Init();Is there a rule for the auto generated code orders?

I tried HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit, HAL_I2C_Master_Receive, HAL_I2C_Mem_Write, HAL_I2C_Mem_Read and even the DMA functions but nothing works - The 8th bit is always 0 and the ACK is always 1.Due to the fact that I'm trying to read the WHO_AM_I value of a register 0x00 on device with address 0x68, I'm expecting write operation at the beginning, writing the value of the address of the internal register. This is my function and printf should print 0xEA.void I2C_readReg(uint16_t Slave_ADRS, uint8_t Reg_ADRS, uint16_t Size, uint8_t *pBufferRead){ uint8_t pBufferWrite[1]; uint16_t MovedAdrs = (uint16_t)(Slave_ADRS<<1); HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, MovedAdrs, (uint16_t)Reg_ADRS, (uint16_t)1, pBufferRead, (uint16_t)Size, (uint32_t)I2C_READ_TIMEOUT); printf("val read %x \n\r", pBufferRead[0]);}Where's Slave_ADRS=0x68 and Reg_ADRS=0x00

Hello,I'm new to TouchGFX software.I'm trying to use the display for the STM32H757I-Eval board.I have configured a GUI template using the TouchGFX software. Below is the procedure I followed:Using STM32CUBEMX in the default mode and enabled the TouchGFX and specified the dimensions of the board for the STM32H757I-eval board. Then generated the STM32 cube IDE code. Now from STM32 cube ide I opened the TouchGFX .part file and selected the blank UI and selected some parameters and generated the code.Next when I built the code I am receiving the following errors.14:50:09 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project DEMO_DISPLAY_CM4 ****make -j4 all arm-none-eabi-g++ "../TouchGFX/target/generated/OSWrappers.cpp" -mcpu=cortex-m4 -std=gnu++14 -g3 -DDEBUG -DCORE_CM4 -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER -DSTM32H757xx -c -I../TouchGFX/App -I../TouchGFX/target/generated -I../TouchGFX/target -I../Core/Inc -I../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc -I../../Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Inc/Legacy -I../../

I'm using NUCLEO-207FZGIn cubeIDE, HAL driver is provided by default.I want to change to the SPL(Standard Peripheral Library).Since I am a beginner, I would like to get tips. Before you try, ask a question.I wonder if it is enough to simply add the SPL folder, or if there is a function to change the library in cubeIDE?
