I have set up a project in a cube. SPI + DMA. When the mcu sends data from the stack, the DMA works fine and activity is visible on the pins. But if allocate an array of data in bss as static or global, then nothing happens on the pins. The program runs normally, the correct statuses are entered in the DMA registers. But there is no activity visible in the SPI register. Why is DMA not sending static data?/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>© Copyright (c) 2021 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved.</center></h2> * * This software component is licensed by ST under BSD 3-Clause license, * the "License"; You may not use this file except in compliance with the * License. Hi,I have a new project which uses the TIMER8 in Encoder mode. The app works pretty nice, but I need to display the encoder pulses/frequency of the input signals on the LCD. I am using STM32H747I-DISCO board. I do not want to use any OS. So, my simple question is:How I can add the STemWin library into my project?I tried to copy settings of the STemWin_HelloWorld project in my project but it seems to me “Mission impossible?. I have tons of errors. I could not find any document which would explain how can do this job. The tech support is in “silence mode?. The Stem554-pdf did not help much. Thanks,Louis

Here are pictures of the component I'm looking for.This comes from a control board for a rear light (Led) from an Aston Martin DB9 - 2005.There are 4 on the board and one of them is burnt.I can not find this component in the trade and impossible to find an equivalent.

This continues to be a confusing topic for me. I am slowly beginning to understand how the MCU Clock Configuration tab works in CubeMX, but I could use a little clarity before I start tweaking all these values.Here is my current clock configuration: I have an 8 MHZ external clock connected to PH0 and PH1, which I entered into the HSE block.Now, if I want my MCU to run at its max speed of 180 MHZ, which part of this clock configuration should I change?I feel like all I need to do is change the HCLK value to 180, but looking at the diagram it appears that the HCLK is being fed by the SYSCLK, which is set to 16 MHZ. So would I also need to set SYSCLK to 180 MHZ? Or is there some magic clock multiplication occurring between the SYSCLK and the HCLK?:grinning_face_with_sweat:

Hello,I'm usign STM32F429II MCU , with ltdc pheripheral to command an external lcd tft display 480*272.I configured all the fmc sdram parameters and initialization etc... TouchGFX generation for the image etc...Checked clocks etc...Do not know what to inspect to find the cause of this.It's a custom made board.

Hi,please help me figure out priorities in my project.So, I'm using:SDIO 4 bit + DMAUSB Composite Device = CDC + MSC with VBUS detection on PA9 pin.I configured PA9 as EXTI on Rising/Falling edge. For now i just want to light a diode when USB conection is detected. It works on simplier project with just USB device CDC. My priorities:SDIO global interrupt - Preemption priority 1DMA2 stream3 and stream 6 global interrupt - Preemption priority 2USB OTG FS global interrupt - Preemption priority 5All sub priorities are 0.I tried giving EXTI9_5 (PA9 pin) preemption priority from 0 to 6, and also preemption priority 5 with subpriority 1. I know that the higher number it is, the lower priority it gets. My guess is that EXTI should have the last priority, but I'm not sure.My MCU is STM32F407VG.Thanks, and have a nice day!

Hello,I would to access to i2c devices with bluenrg-355MT, I use functions from BlueNRG-LP DK 1.0.0, in bluenrg_lp_evb_i2c files. When I Download and Debug, i2c works fine, but in release mode there is no i2c signals.Here my code to detect light sensor :BSP_I2C_Init();   HAL_StatusTypeDef ret;   ret = HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2cx, 0x10<<1, 1, 10); if( ret != HAL_OK ) printf("Device not present.\r\n"); else printf("Light sensor detected.\r\n");Whatever the parameters, there is no signals.I2C is configured like this :/* Initialize the GPIOs associated to the I2C port */ BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE(); LL_GPIO_SetPinMode(BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_PORT, BSP_I2C_DATA_PIN, LL_GPIO_MODE_ALTERNATE); LL_GPIO_SetPinSpeed(BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_PORT, BSP_I2C_DATA_PIN, LL_GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH); LL_GPIO_SetPinOutputType(BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_PORT, BSP_I2C_DATA_PIN, LL_GPIO_OUTPUT_OPENDRAIN); LL_GPIO_SetPinPull(BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_PORT, BSP_I2C_DATA_PIN, BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO_PULL); BSP_I2C_DATA_GPIO

Because my bare metal version of a ADC1+DMA1+DMA1_CHANNEL1+DMAMUX+TIM3 System will not work,I now try to build such a system using STM32CubeMX/HAL - but with greater problems. Now writing to hdma->Instance->CCR fails, when I stepinto MX_ADC1_Init(),into HAL_ADC_Init(&hadc1),into HAL_ADC_MspInit(hadc),into HAL_DMA_Init(&hdma_adc1)to the line hdma->Instance->CCR = tmp;tmp has the value 0x5A0, hdma->Instance->CCR before an after execution of this line the value 0.Has the DMA1-Clock to be enabled for writing to DMA1->CCR?If so, the STM32CubeMX generated siftware will never work, because this Clock will be enabledinside MX_DMA_Init(), which will be called after MX_ADC1_Init()?

When working on the I2C bootloader embedded in the System Memory of the STM32G0B0CE (v13.0) and STM32G0B1RE (v9.2) MCUs, we noticed a strange behavior.The Write Memory (0x31) and No-Stretch Write Memory (0x32) commands of the bootloader does not seem to work with addresses that are not at least 8-byte aligned. Commands issued on 4-byte aligned addresses are acknowledged by the bootloader (the ACK byte (0x79) is received upon the last I2C read of the command), but the data is never written tomemory. The size of the operation does not seem to change this behavior. For example, the bootloader acknowledges a Write Memory command on 0x08000004 but never actually writes it into flash, even though it has been previously erased. The Read Memory command (0x11) on that address returns 0xFF bytes which suggest that the flash has not been programmed.On the other hand, if we try to perform a write operation on 0x08000000 using a 16 byte payload, everything works as it should (and as a consequence,

I have put the uncached dma buffer that was in CM7 SRAM in a block of axiram, but this is a bodge.

I am playing with G4 LL example code for SPI.In STM32Cube_FW_G4_V1.4.0, there is example SPI_OneBoard_HalfDuplex_IT_Init.I have managed to make it work with my Nucleo-G431RB board. I wonder how I can extend it to a full duplex mode to communicate with a sensor. After I look through file stm32g4xx_ll_spi.h, there are only LL_SPI_TransmitData8 and LL_SPI_ReceiveData8. There is no such function like TransmitReceive.

Hi guys,I recently started working with TouchGFX and made some demos for the STM32F769-DISCO which all ran smoothly. Now I wanted to switch to the ARM6 Compiler and everything went down the drain, a lot of TouchGFX and FreeRTOS Compiler errors.I tried researching the topic and to find some configuratoin parameters to switch libraries or something like that but wasn't successfull.Can you point me in the right direction on how to switch automatically generated KEIL projects with TouchGFX and FreeRTOS from ARM5 to ARM6 compiler?Thanks and cheers!

I want to change few parameters detected by motor profiler in my code(After code generation) But i don't want to change it manually..I am trying to changes in pmsm_motor_parameter.h . Can you tell me which files are used to write parameters from motor profiler?I want to test wide range of value change of parameters and it effect on motor behaviour

please find the attachment of clock configuration snapshot.i'm trying to use external clock source for RTC application. [i.e, HSE or LSE]But the RTC too faster than the normal time. is it requires any other configuration? orhow to fix this issue?

My use case would benefit from high speed but I'm having trouble getting it to run at 60Hz. I'm using the X-NUCLEO-53L5A1 on an NUCLEO-L476RG board with the XCUBE-TOF1 software. I'm using the SimpleRanging example program: XCUBE-TOF1\Projects\NUCLEO-L476RG\Examples\53L5A1\53L5A1_SimpleRanging I have tried this in polling mode with a short polling period and also in interrupt mode. Neither will go faster than 17Hz.I edit this line in app_x-cube-tof1.c to increase the speed:Profile.Frequency = 60;I inserted a simple HAL_GetTick() and calculate the actual frequency and it wont run faster than 16.67Hz. 5Hz and 10Hz work great but then it maxes out as shown here:Profile.Frequency = 5; /* Actually runs at 4.97Hz */ Profile.Frequency = 10; /* Actually runs at 9.95Hz */ Profile.Frequency = 20; /* Actually runs at 16.59Hz */ Profile.Frequency = 30; /* Actually runs at 16.61Hz */ Profile.Frequency = 60; /* Actually runs at 16.67Hz */Any ideas what is limiting it or where I should optimize the co

Where is the stm32 advanced nand flash driver?

So I have run into this a couple of times. Right now I have one that I cannot find a good fix for.I set SNTP_GET_SERVERS_FROM_DHCP to 1 in CubeMX and generated the project then compiled. It is correctly set in lwipopts.h but in sntp.h and sntp.c it acts as if it is set to zero!sntp.c has sntp.h and lwip/opt.h included in it.sntp.h has sntp_opts.h included in it.sntp_opts.h has lwip/opt.h included in it.lwip/opt.h has lwipopts.h included in it.So there's a bunch of nesting of includes and it seems that lwip/opt.h is duplicated in the path to sntp.c.This seems like an issue with how lwip is set up or a compiler issue... I'm not an expert on this stuff. Anyone have ideas?Mike.

I have a STEVAL-STWINKT1 board and I want to create a ML algorithm for the board to conduct predictive maintenance. However, I want my ML algorithm to run on the microprocessor and not on the ISM330DHCLX sensor. This is because, I realized that the ISM330DHCLX sensor is not sensitive to small changes in acceleration (around 0.1g), whereas the motor I am using is very small. Thus I want to use the IIS2DH sensor values as the input to my model instead. My current workflow is I generate the ML UCF File using Unico, and then use the data logging function pack to flash the model to the STEVAL-STWINKT1 board and monitor its output. However, this workflow does not work if I want my ML algorithm to run on the STM32L4+ MCU itself instead of in the ISM330DHCX sensor. Is there a step by step example on how I can do this?

Hi, AllI have a fine working project but i don't have a designer project files.I want to add a TextAreaWithOneWildcard modifying only source code.I was using this article as a referencehttps://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/ui-components/miscellaneous/text-areaI have added a code for a new control like in the article but control is not displaying.I am missing something.I have added also anadd(VARIABLE_NAME) in the base class of the screen. That was not described in the article above.Maybe there are some hidden code which I can't find using notepad++ search?

#define TEMP110_CAL_VALUE ((uint16_t*)((uint32_t)0x1FFF75CA)) #define TEMP30_CAL_VALUE ((uint16_t*)((uint32_t)0x1FFF75A8)) #define TEMP110 110.0f #define TEMP30 30.0fI am using these calibration values as I found them in the datasheetFor the conversion:temperature = (int32_t)((TEMP110 - TEMP30) / ((float)(*TEMP110_CAL_VALUE) - (float)(*TEMP30_CAL_VALUE)) * (adcvalue - (float)(*TEMP30_CAL_VALUE)) + TEMP30);I also used:temperature=__LL_ADC_CALC_TEMPERATURE(VDDA_APPLI,AdcVals[0],LL_ADC_RESOLUTION_12B);The values I get is 700-800 on the ADC value, which I think is a reasonable value but when converting the temperature is with a minus sign

Hi! I have a project in which I tried to enable LTO for release builds. Issue is that the code hangs before entering the main loop. Upon investigation, I found that an interrupt is triggered: the code gets stuck in the default implementation for the WWDT_IRQHandler function:Default_Handler: Infinite_Loop: b Infinite_LoopI do not enable WWDT in CubeMX, and it is indeed disabled in my hal conf header file. Now I'm suspecting that I might be enabling LTO incorrectly. I pass -flto to both the C compiler and the linker as arguments. Am I missing something?

I am looking to get confirmation on the pin out of EMIF08-LCD04M16 in QFN package. The datasheet makes no mention of this. I assume that it is a pass through type, where pins opposite each other are connected through the filters, and that the exposed pad is ground. Can someone confirm this, or correct my assumption?ThanksJoel

Besides the SW_Reset in CTRL_3 register, can we also do the hardware reset for lsm6dsox through some pins? Or the power gate is only option we can use?The chip worked perfectly on our device, however, in some rare cases, the registers, including whoami register, is not accessible. So we want to check if hardware reset is possible for this chip. thanks!
