I just installed the CubeProgrammer and I'm following the Populate the target and boot the image guide. When I get to section 1.1.1.1.2.6 Populate the SDCard and click "Connect" I get this error: But if I execute this on the command line:sudo /opt/st/stm32cubeprgrammer_2.9.0/bin/STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -w flashlayout_st-image-weston/trusted/FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-trusted.tsvEverything works perfectly fine. I get this: Is anyone familiar with that error on the GUI? If it works on the CLI it should work on the GUI too, isn't it?

Hello, I have issues when I tried to use my nucleo 32WL with Sigfox (working well with LoraWAN). I followed the steps proposed in the AN5480 : working well for that : However, in practice when I try to obtain my ID and my PCA throught AT command, the values are wrong ! (don't match with the one in the header file)The sigfox activation works only with the one in the header file (and not with the ID and PAC obtained thanks to AT commands)Thus, it seems that there is a problem in the sigfox credentiel provisioning but Cubeprogrammer said that it is a success...Best regardsLouis

I am trying to run simple program to output HIGH on IO pin of microcontroller STM8S003F3P6. I am using PB5 pin to output High. I am using 3.3v power supply and expect GPIO to output 3.3v when I set it HIGH but surprisingly I am getting 5V instead, below is the circuit diagram  Can someone help how to get 3.3v instead of 5V on GPIO output for above processor, is there anything wrong with above circuit?

Hi all...I am using a nucleo board and CubeMX ....I have an external interrupt which I can see on the logic analyzer. However when setting a breakpoint in code it never goes there?? I am set for rising edgevoid HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { if (GPIO_Pin == SPI_IRQ_Pin) ISR.SPI_WakeUp = T; }

Starting a new project using the STM32F767ZI (144 pin) chip. Project will have ethernet, can w/bootloader over can, and lcd/touchgfx.Looking at the demo kits all of them have SRAM and a large amount of non-volatile memory that is assigned to different memory regions for extra storage of images/etc.My question is are both memory types necessary for building a successful touchgfx application? We need non-volatile memory for data storage anyway, but as I'm putting together the first prototype schematics I'm trying to decide how much SRAM and external FLASH memory is needed. We will be driving a 7inch 800x480 display in RGB565 mode. There will be a few image assets, but none will consume a full 800x480 resolution. Not seeing any guides out there for figuring this out.

UM2552 has a paragraph 4.2.2: Send request messageA SINK must send a request message to ask for a new power level, the rest of the sequence is identical to AMS power negotiation. How and what should I do to start the process of renegotiation? How to send USBPD_PE_Request_Ctrl/Message REQUEST? Thanks.

Hi everyone,I'm facing some issues while trying to understand if (and eventually how) it's possible to use a different antenna using an X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 evaluation board.I know I may just use the bare ST25R95 chip and then realize an impedance matching circuitry to it, but for timing reasons I'm trying to understand if it would be possible to do that with all that's offered with the NFC03A1 evaluation board.Still, I have some questions and doubts:1) Is it possible? 2a) if possible, how can I do that? In the ST25R95 datasheet is only reported the differential output impedance, but in the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 there is only a schematic with the whole matching circuitry after ST25R95 TX1 and TX2 pins, so it's not clear how to do that.In fact I have a custom antenna which is a MUST to be used for my application, and I need to use it instead of the one integrated in the NFC03A1.2b) If not possible, I found the X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 which uses the ST25R3916 reader, which has an AAT possibility control

I experienced NEAI Studio license activation issues, can you please help ?

Hi,We build a IC board with STM32G0 and ST25 NFC/RFID tag. It use also an EMI (AN5248) (I²C, Timers are used on the STM32). Reading Tag is OK. But when generating noise(EMC test) on SCL and tag is detected at the same time, the system goes down. ??

Hi, I'm designing a board in which the communication between STM32 and the host is UART over LVDS. So RS232 transceiver is not used in the design. And we want to upgrade STM32 firmware remotely through the UART LVDS interface by the host. But according to AN2066 page 38, the hardware requirement to use USART is through RS232 transceiver to the host. https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/cd00167594-stm32-microcontroller-system-memory-boot-mode-stmicroelectronics.pdfI'm wondering if RS232 transceiver is necessary to use the system bootloader. Is UART over LVDS ok to use the system bootloader. Does anybody know the answer?Any response is appreciated. And thank you very much in advance. With best wishesJasmine

I am using your NanoEdge AI Studio Software for classification and I am looking at the FFTs displayed in the signals segment after collecting data.How, specifically are these FFTs generated from the raw data ? Also, what the units on the axis are as I am unsure what unit 'fs' is ?

I have configured FDCAN for classic CAN frame in STM32CubeIDE with Firmware package version 1.9.1. Following is my configuration:hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = ENABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 6; hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 6; hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.MessageRAMOffset = 0; hfdcan1.Init.StdFiltersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.ExtFiltersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo0ElmtsNbr = 32; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo0ElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo1ElmtsNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.RxFifo1ElmtSize = FDCAN_DATA_BYTES_8; hfdcan1.Init.RxBuffersNbr = 0; hfdcan1.Init.RxBufferSize = FDCAN_DATA

I need the X-CUBE-STL library and I want to import these needed files into my project which I programmed with STM32CubeMX. Is there any good tutorial how to use this library and which parameters needs to be adjusted?

I have the following : HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2, &txBuf[0], 1, 50); HAL_SPI_Receive(&hspi2, &rxBuf[0], 1, 50);I have the following code .... STM32L476 is a spi 3 wire master. The Transmit appears (logic analyzer) to be working fine, however I am having much grief trying to read from the sensor (LSM6DSM33)....If I transmit two bytes with the second being a dummy byte of 0x00, the device responds with the appropriate response on the 3 wire connection. Unfortunately this method does not write anything into an rx buffer hence I THEN change to what you see above. The issue I am having is the above receive command puts 5 bytes worth of clocks out on the bus EVEN with a 1 as a parameter. If I put a 0 I get no clocks (as expected) and if I put a 2 I get (7 bytes worth of clocks). Can someone please explain what is going on????

I have a very strange issue with an STM32F405RG/407VG regarding the RTC: it only works, when I am in debugging mode and add the “hrtc? struct into live expression and the instance handle is open!My code is pretty simple: I have 2 globals:RTC_TimeTypeDef st = {0,}; uint32_t sysTime = 0;which are globals for debugging purposes, Hardware Initialisation in main():/* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_CRC_Init(); MX_I2C1_Init(); MX_RNG_Init(); MX_RTC_Init(); MX_USB_DEVICE_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ uint16_t led = 500; uint32_t sled = 0; /* USER CODE END 2 */a function, that gets the Time from the RTC in *USER CODE 4*:void GetTime(void) { HAL_RTC_GetTime(&hrtc, &st, RTC_FORMAT_BIN); sysTime = (((((uint32_t)st.Hours) * 60) + ((uint32_t)st.Minutes)) * 60) + (uint32_t)st.Seconds; }And a simple main loop:while(1) { if(led) led--; else { led = 500; HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(LED1_GPIO_Port, LED1_Pin); } if(sysTime != sled) { HAL_G

Hi!I am using ADC1 to convert two channels continuously. The two channels are VrefINT and Temperature sensor. However, for some sampling rate I find that ADC1->DR contains only temperature data and for other sampling rate, ADC1->DR contains only VrefINT data. Is it possible to read the conversion result for those two channels properly without using DMA? Or in this case, DMA is a must?

I have my custom PCB design by using STM32 MCU.Now i want to know how can i design template for this custom board GPIO pins and other interfaces so when i want to use this i simply select it and all pins are set as template.every time when i make new project don't need to do all setup again.similar like any stm32 discovery board all pins are set up already.How can i do it? which software is used?

My configuration is shown below: gpioinitstruct.Pin  = SD_CS_PIN; gpioinitstruct.Mode  = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP; gpioinitstruct.Pull  = GPIO_PULLUP; gpioinitstruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; HAL_GPIO_Init(SD_CS_GPIO_PORT, &gpioinitstruct);

Hello experts,I'm trying to determine if the ASM330LHH IMU can eliminate false positives by itself or if the MCU will need to address them. I've searched the forum for this topic and didn't find anything specifically related to this device. Apologies if I missed any.I did read through the ASM330LHH: Automotive inertial module digital 3D accelerometer and digital 3D gyroscope app note (AN5296). It is a helpful document, but I didn't find much about how to prevent or handle false detections.Page 30 includes the following sentence that indicates that false detections can be avoided by using a longer duration.The FF_DUR[5:0] field of the FREE_FALL / WAKE_UP_DUR registers is configured like this to ignore events that are shorter than 6/ODR_XL = 6/412 Hz ~= 15 msec in order to avoid false detections.In my application, I'm more concerned about detecting certain impacts rather than free fall scenarios. Thus, I would assume setting an accelerometer magnitude threshold and a duration threshold (

I am working with the NUCLEO-L552ZE-Q and have made a very simple test circuit to test an open drain output signal. I have the pin configured as an open drain output with no pull up or pull down with the signal pulled up to 3.3V through a 1K resistor. When I SET the pin, I see a 3.3V signal probing on the bottom side of the 1K resistor and when I CLEAR the pin, I see a 0V signal. This is opposite of what I would expect? Is there some inverting buffer that is connected to the gate of the fet?
