I am trying to use Registers in STM32CubeProgrammer to change the setting of GPIOB, but whenever I change a value. it just gets changes back to the value it had before! Is this because Registers is still in BETA or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,I usestm32mp157c and the filesystem runs emmc default. But I want it to change it and run at ramfs. I addedCONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD=yCONFIG_RD_GZIP=yCONFIG_RD_BZIP2=yCONFIG_RD_LZMA=yCONFIG_RD_XZ=yCONFIG_RD_LZO=yCONFIG_RD_LZ4=yin kernel config file. Also,DISTRO_FEATURES_append = " ram"IMAGE_FSTYPES_append = " cpio.xz"in local.conf. After above additon operation, i haveuImage-initramfs.binBut I don't know how to set the settings in U-boot. Like where should the starting address be? Can you help me with this?Regards.Ali MesutInce

Hi,I am trying to init SPI1 (to just receive data qwith MISO) on nucleo G474RE without using HAL libraries. Can you help me to assess why my code does not work ? Hi,We use a STM32G071 with the USBPD library together with a USB-C protection IC to implement a DRP device. How should I handle a fault signalled by the protection IC? - How should I inform the USB-C PD stack about this event? - Is it sufficient to request a hard reset (USBPD_PE_Request_HardReset(0);)?I'm using:- FW pack STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.5.1- USBPD core library V4.0.0- USBPD device library V3.3.1Thanks!BR, Christoph

Hello, I'm trying to leverage the MCO capability of the STM32MP1, but I don't success. I want to have LSE on MCO1 and HSE on MCO2. I'm using TFA -> uboot -> linux and I can build with Yocto or Buildroot.Which steps should be done during TFA, uboot and on Linux ? I have tried different combination but there is no behaviour. Also, I'm only doing device tree configuration, maybe I'm missing something elsewhere.I have seen following resource and I'm confused on the way to proceed because of the warning on MCO pins :https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-STM32MP1-bring-up-troubleshooting-guideThanks for your input,Best regards,Charles B

Shouldn't just the RXNE flag trigger with this code? or does the outgoing transmit message also generate an RXNE flag? Thanks!

Hello,I have an STM32F407G-DISC1 evaluation board which I have been trying to connect to through SWD with a Segger JTrace Pro, but I haven't been able to connect to the board for some reason. I have been following a Segger provided document for the connections and have verified those connections using the user manual for the board. Still, every time I run the JLink commander to connect to the target I get the following message on repeat:InitTarget() start Can not attach to CPU. Trying connect under reset. Connection to CPU via connect under reset failed InitTarget() endFollowed by "Cannot connect to target"I have triple-checked the connections to be correct, is there a register I have to write to in order to enable tracing or a solution I'm missing?I've been trying to get it to work for a while.

Dear Sir,We are going to write a ST25R3916 driver (only support SO15693) for our platform which use ThreadX RTOS. As a porting reference, could you tell me where I can get the source code of ST25R3916 driver?best regardsDai Sai

I have a project No.1 for STM32H750VB, which working well with LWIP and open simple web page for the testing and everything works well! Also exist a project No.2 for STM32H750VB, the external bootloader for the QSPI chip also works fine. And I can launch projects from the QSPI chip with Freertos and without it!But, I can’t make run properly project No.1 that would be launched using the project No.2 and the web page opened! Only the ping works but, does not open a web page!Could someone tell me what aspects do I need to pay attention to?Maybe somehow I need to especially configure MPU settings?

Hi, I am using board B-G431B-ESC1 and Motor Control 5.Y.3.When controlling the motor through the Motor Pilot and increasing the current, I get a recurring Bad CRC Header error. There is a neighboring forum thread where this is discussedhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001FlPJ2/why-am-i-getting-the-faultover-fault-when-using-the-st-motor-pilot-And there was a proposal to reduce the speed of USART, but this did not lead to anything for me, I tried it at speeds of 115200 and 1843200.If the motor is standing or moving without load, everything is fine, but as soon as the current increases and reaches, for example, 5000 units of s16A, then this error begins to appear.

We are using the STM32H745 in one of our projects. We are using "LDO supply" mode (configuration 1 in Fig. 22 from RM0399 v3). Section 7.4 of RM0399 describes the power-up sequence, including a Run* mode where application code starts executing but is not allowed to write to RAM until one of the supply configurations has been selected by writing the write-once byte in PWR_CR3. The manual notes that RAM writes in Run* mode are forbidden:Section 7.4.1:4. Once the oscillator is stable, the system is initialized: Flash memory and option bytes are loaded and the CPU starts in limited run mode (Run*).5. The software shall then initialize the system including supply configuration programming in PWR control register 3 (PWR_CR3). Once the supply configuration has been configured, the ACTVOSRDY bit in PWR control status register 1 (PWR_CSR1) shall be checked to guarantee valid voltage levels:a) As long as ACTVOSRDY indicates that voltage levels are invalid, the system is in Run* mode, write acces

Hello. I have a simple project, but I have a hard time doing my project in STM. The difficulty of the project is that all processes have to work at certain sampling times. As you can see in the picture, I have a robot that is controlled by 2 channel biological signal (EOG). Robot movements are measured with two potentiometers. So what do I want? 1- I want to transfer 2 channels of EOG data controlling the robot and 2 pot data that allows us to measure the movement of the robot to the SD card or PC via serial port (1KHZ sampling, the transfer does not have to be real time).2- According to the EOG data read, there is a linear function that provides the movement of the robot's joint (m*x+n). The PWM value (min. 10 KHz PWM) produced with this function will be transferred to the robot actuator via the driver. In the first attempt, while recording the data to the SD card with DMA at 1KHz sampling time, I could not generate PWM signals from that data. Therefore, I performed the recording

Hi Everyone,I am working on a project with TouchGFX. I'm working with STM32H743X MCU. Project have MT48LC4M32B model external SDRAM. I was have an issue with screen that corrupted image on it. You can see below some example at picture. In expectation, the back color of the screen needs to be grey and the text need to be readable. So I was start my own investigation on this issue. Right now, I have suspicion on external ram. I am try to use write a sngle word to external ram and see on debug mod. You can see two picture below for this test. You can see the ram status on right side of 1st picture.  On second picture I just run code for 1 write operation. In my expextation fisrt 4 byte of ram will change to DD CC AA FF, the rest of it will be same. But you can see the ram status after fist write operation in next picture. Ram write same word for 4 time. I am using ram BSP from ST examples. You can see installation of FMC at cube mx in below pictures. I need all of suggestions

I am using STM32F411 and SDK v1.27.1I am trying to trigger an DMA xfer with an external signal source using the TIMER1 External Trigger, without the need to execute any interrupts in the CPU to utilize the CPU time, as I have two signals one every 2ms and one every 150us that come from to different on board ICs, and when each signal is executed an SPI/UART xfer must be done to retrieve data in real-time.I have used the code generator from the CubeIDE to generate Initialization code, an started the transfer in the main functionHere is the pinout view of the projectTimer1 Conig. USART1 Config. Code Snippets#define BUFF_SIZE 8 uint32_t dma_TxBuffer[BUFF_SIZE] = {0}; uint32_t dma_RxBuffer[BUFF_SIZE] = {0};   HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim1);   /* Clear the TC flag in the SR register by writing 0 to it */ __HAL_UART_CLEAR_FLAG(&huart2, UART_FLAG_TC);   /* Enable the DMA transfer for transmit request by setting the DMAT bit in the UART CR3 register */ ATOMIC_SET_B

Hello,I am working with STM32H743BI and trying to write then read a QSPI FLASH "mt25qu01gbbb". I first use the STM32 software example "QSPI_ReadWrite_IT" (adapted with cube configuration) to start discovering QSPI on my hardware. Then I made a small evolution that consist on write incremented values on more than one page.First page seems to be write correctly :But something wrong is appening for second page :Did anyone encoutered this problem ? Thank in advance for your helpPlease find attached my project.

Hello,if I call the read function it sends a write on the I2C. What am I doing wrong?Thanks a lot, Best Regards, Seppeluint8_t i2cData[8U]; uint8_t i2cDevAdr = (0x53 << 1U);   HAL_I2C_Mem_Read (&hi2c2, i2cDevAdr , 0x00, 1U, i2cData, 1U, HAL_MAX_DELAY);

Hi ! I'm currently working on a STM32H747-DISCO with TouchGFX to test and discover this graphic library. My touchGFX app is only 2 screens with a button to go screen 1 or 2 with a slide animation. But when I'm implementing an other task in FreeRTOS with a higher priority, TouchGFX freeze at some point when i'm changing screen. My goal was to see when the animations of the library would lag with an other task running on the M7. Do you have any idea why the screen freeze ? It may be linked to the slide animation of screen.

Hi there,I have a custom CPU: STM32MP153CAB Rev.Z board and setting up a redundant bootloader setup on eMMC. In order for that to work I should be able to switch between boot partitions. This is how I'm trying to do that in u-boot:STM32MP> mmc partconf 1 EXT_CSD[179], PARTITION_CONFIG: BOOT_ACK: 0x1 BOOT_PARTITION_ENABLE: 0x1 PARTITION_ACCESS: 0x0Then I've got expected output from TF-A:INFO: Using EMMC INFO: Instance 2 INFO: Boot used partition fsbl1When I switch to a second partition though:STM32MP> mmc partconf 1 1 2 0 STM32MP> mmc partconf 1 EXT_CSD[179], PARTITION_CONFIG: BOOT_ACK: 0x1 BOOT_PARTITION_ENABLE: 0x2 PARTITION_ACCESS: 0x0I still get the same message in TF-A:INFO: Using EMMC INFO: Instance 2 INFO: Boot used partition fsbl1What am I missing here? Is boot_context populated correctly by TF-A? Is second boot partition used at all by ROM?

Hi, Is it possible to use custom fonts other than True type fonts listed in Touchgfx Designer. Thanks

Currently it seems that text can only be rotated by a multiple of 90 °. In a current project, however, I have a customer requirement that text must be rotated by any angle, since the display must be mounted rotated. What would be the best approach to implement this in the current circumstances?

Hello. I want to read multi-channel analog data (four channels) with my Nucleo-F072RB. I previously worked with Nucleo F411RE and I did not have any problems. But with F072RB, I'm so confused. When I open my board on CubeMX, I can select multi ADC1 channels (for example IN1, IN2..) but in ADC configuration I can not see "Number of Conversions" or "Rank" properties. So I can not configure the multichannel ADC. I thought maybe this board had only one configuration and so it had not allowed configuring ADCs...But when I coded two potentiometer ADC reading codes, I saw it was not working. Can you help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.
