I have worked with the HAL software implementation of the CRC using HAL_CRC_Calculate() and HAL_CRC_Accumulate(). Works great. How do I utilize the hardware CRC feature? Can you direct me to an example or more information?

Hi everyone,I use STM32WB55 with the BLE stack 13.0 (full version) and want to test the RF. In the an5270 document, I noticed the ACI_HAL_TONE_START command and it is allowed to change the rf channel from 2.402 to 2.480 GHz with 2 MHz resolution. However, I want to change the channel to a 1 MHz resolution. For example, I want to set the channel to 2.403 GHz. Is it possible to do? If yes, how?Thank you.Have a nice day.Serhat.

Query above is straight forward. - Deadtime implementation options for Half Bridge config.Deadtime is to "wait for one FET to switch off" b4 turning on the other FET in the half bridge. This is to prevent shoot thru for the Power supply via the Half bridge..

Hello, I am working with a STM32H747XI. I have connected a digital input on PA0_C & PA1_C. I used CubeMX for the initialisation.The initialisation code is : /*Configure GPIO pins : UI_ENC0_Pin UI_ENC1_Pin */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = UI_ENC0_Pin|UI_ENC1_Pin; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_INPUT; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct);When I read the pin, it stays always at 0 (GPIO_PIN_RESET)bpState1 = HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOA, UI_ENC0_Pin); bpState2 = HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOA, UI_ENC1_Pin);The pin PA0 is at " Reset State".I dont know what I have to do to solve it.Many thanks for your help.Bertrand

Currently have a STM32F103 running HSE + pll with a SysClk of 72 mhz.I want to use one of the upper flash memory blocks for storing application information - which means I need to erase and program the flash memory from my application (I do this all the time when using an STM32F4xx micro).I am referencing App Note PM0074 - Programming manual - STM32F10xxx Flash memory.microcontrollers Page 10 has the statement "For write and erase operations on the Flash memory (write/erase), the internal RC oscillator (HSI) must be ON."There are no other statement relating to clock or speed anywhere.Q1. Can I continue to use HSE+PLL and operate at 72 mhz and just turn on the HSI but not directly use it?Q2. Do I have to switch the clock FROM HSE+PLL to HSI before I can erase/program flash memory?Q3. If I have to switch to HSI - do I need to operate at the internal 8 mhz frequency? Thanks in advance for any insight - the documentation (this app note and others) are NOT very clear on the clocking requirem

Hi, We have a PCB design which used to have LSM6DSL and we were using ACC/GYRO data from the sensor. Since we switched to the new LSM6DSR chip the INT1 does not trigger (when data is ready) anymore even though the sensor should be similar config (if not the same). What could be reason for this? The chip responds with NACK from commands which were used to work on LSM6DSL. Worth mentioning that INT2 triggers as expected w/o issues, but not INT1.Regards.

I have a STM32WB that serves as the master and four other as the slaves. As the slaves may sometimes go offline, the master will periodically tries to connect with them (say, every 10 seconds). Between two connection attempts, the master allows the connected slaves to transmit data. At the 10-second mark, the master asks the connected slaves to pause transmission while it tries to connect with disconnected ones. However, it seems that the master cannot connect to other devices once some slaves begin data transmission as the call to `aci_gap_create_connection()` returns error code 0x3a. I also discovered that `aci_gap_create_connection()` would be successful only when all slaves were disconnected.Does it have anything to do with the BLE link layer state? My guess is that the master cannot connect to other slaves if it is in the connected state, but I don't know how to verify it. And if it is true, how can I ask the master to switch to the standby state so as to connect with other slaves?

On a screen, I use the function handleGestureEvent. Inside this function, I have an if-else to differentiate between horizontal and vertical swipes:void handleGestureEvent(const GestureEvent& event) { if (event.getType() == GestureEvent::SWIPE_HORIZONTAL) { /* ... */ } else if (event.getType() == GestureEvent::SWIPE_VERTICAL) { /* ... */ } }(Could be else instead of else if, but for clarity...)The problem is that from many swipes I get two gesture events: one horizontal and one vertical, both with the same x- and y-coordinates. I.e. handleGestureEvent is called, the if-branch is activated, then the function is called again and the else-branch is activated. event.getX() and event.getY() yield the same value in both calls.I have neither found a possibility to set the thresholds for detecting a gesture as vertical or horizontal nor have I found the implementation oft registerDragEvent.I use TouchGFX Designer 4.20.0.

Hello, I have two Nucleo-STM32F746ZG development boards daisy-chained together via their JTAG pins (refer to below diagram). When connecting a JLink Plus debug probe to the microcontrollers and attempting to debug the second development board in the daisy chain (Device #1), the connection fails and times out; I am only able to debug the first development board (Device #0) since JTAG assumes a single device to be connected by default, if not configured otherwise. Furthermore, when attempting to run the JLink Commander software, I cannot connect to either development board. I am using Visual Studio as my IDE/debug interface.I've tried:Adaptive clockingSlowing down the clock speed (from 4000 kHz down to 100 kHz)Running "-jtagconf 4, 1" in the JLink Commander software to program/debug Device #1. The programs responds with "Cannot connect to target".Setting "-jtagconf 4, 1" in my launch.json file for Visual Studio to program/debug Device #1. This yields a connection timeout.Setting "-jtagco

Which ST25R reader would you recommend for the MB89R118C Fujitsu Tag which has FRAM of 256 memory blocks/ 2048 bytes and uses ISO/IEC15693? For some reasons I could not write or read from this NFC type 5 tag with the NFC Tap app? Please advise.

hi,is ther a way to run Utility_timer and calendar simultaneously.if i set rtc on mixt mode or BCD mode, i do not receive alarm interruption ti manage Utility_timer

Hi,i am working on a Project right now where i need to send some data via LoRa. I'm using a STM32WL55 and i had some trouble with the radio setup, so to check the basic functionality of my radioi rebuilt the SUBGHZ_Tx_Mode example for my board and compared the actual example running on a Nucleo-WL55JC1 with my rebuild running on my board. The MXsetup is identical for both. I noticed that even before i start the code, i can see in the debugger, that on the nucleo the RFBUSYS Bit is set and on my board it isn't.Reading the documentation, i found out that if the radio resets, the RFBUSYS flag goes high, so it makes sense that at the very start the RFBUSYS flag is set on the Nucleo, as the whole board does a power on reset. But why doesn't the radio on my board perform a reset (or at least set the RFBUSYS bit)? How can there be a difference if no line of code has been executed yet and the Mx setup is the same?I'm completely lost on this issue, so any help is greatly apprechiated.

I'm trying to use the UNICO Pedometer Regression tool in offline mode to analyze accelerometer data from the LSM6DSO32 accelerometer. I have followed the instructions from the UNICO user manual regarding data format:-file name data_steps138.txt-data sampled at 26Hz-+/-8g full scale-data formatted to mg and tab separated, with x, y, and z axis data in that order on each line. Every time I try to run the tool I get a popup error at 1% completion saying "cannot open regression_tool.config". After closing that pop-up, the main window says "error: cannot generate configuration file". I have check the root UNICO folder and find no evidence of either file. Help debugging this issue would be much appreciated.

Hi,I just updated the CubeMonitor/CubeIDE/CubeProgrammer to the latest versions. After doing this my old version of Transparrent Mode (for STM32WB10) does not compile anymore. After creating a new project, and getting it to compile and run. I can now connect to my device through CubeMonitor-RF... sort of.It reads the version information and reports "Command Complet" but it says Unknown device CM4 version: No information CM0 version: No informationand when I try to read the HCI_READ_RSSI, the program freezes completely. The following screenshot is just after connecting.I can debug the code and pause the execution, but it is not in any fault handler. What can be wrong??? It was working under the last version CubeMonitor-RF V2.8.1last version of CubeIDE (before 1.9.0)

Hi All,Got it turning. Now need a guidance on where / what file and how I can control the speed. SDK 5.4.8.6S_STEVAL3202_SL_VM example.Monitor connects well.I can start the motor.Final ramp speed does not work. The only use - setting the direction of rotation.Measured speed raises from 0 to 4000rpm and motor stops with Fault over "Start-up failure". Motor power indicator jumps to max and stays there. My application is simple. I need an open loop control. 2 speeds forward, 2 speeds reverse. Stop. Preferably hardware control -3 pin. The only feedback - hardware Fault output.Questions are: Where (what settings) can be an error.Where can I find the code where I can control the speed. How I can control the speed (what variables are responsible for speed and acceleration?). I assume that it can be done in main.c in while(1) loop.Could you please direct me to some manual or documentation on 6S_STEVAL3202_SL_VM package. Thanks in advance for your answers.Regards,Edward.

The "AN5276" application note says we should measure the antenna at 1MHz.I don't understand why we couldn't measure it directly at 13.56MHz.

Hi,I'd like to integrate calypso protocol (Calypso Networks Association) in a terminal based on STM32 + ST25R3911.The STM32 will run a SW package which implements Calypso (taken from https://keyple.org/learn/build-your-first-app/cpp-app/).My question: Do I need a Calypso SAM additional to ST25R3911 (or ST25R3911 + SW package is just enough)? Thanks,Aviv

I want my code to pick up a value set in the ioc project file, specifically:<project>.ioc | Pinout & Configuration | Software Packs | AZRTOS(M7) | ThreadX | Core | TX_TIMER_TICKS_PER_SECONDIs this possible? I see I can override this in tx_user.h, but I would rather have "one truth" for this value. Is this possible?

UART2 bootloader is not work.Should I flash a bootloader program to enable usart2 booloader.Which uart has default bootloader program.

When I'm working on configuring devicetree for a new board, adding new nodes and tweaking values, I often run into a un-bootable system. What I would like is that there is a bit more information of what goes wrong.Like now it just quits booting if some node in the references some unitialized hardware. like if vrefbuf perihperal is not activated, and I reference a voltage from there *Crash*.Is there any ways to make the workflow more tolerable?

Hello everybody. I need to share external and software RESET between two different electronic boards. I designed a circuit based on transistors and optocouplers. The soft reset ground the NRST pin, this way I would like to trigger an optocoupler, but I couldn't find information about the current that the CMOS supports. Can I consider it as a common IO? Here are images of the circuit I drew and the information I found. Thanks.

I use this code to switch to bank2 after downloaded fw image in bank2. I have verified that the first address is (stack pointer) is pointing to the SRAM.
