I am missing a detailed description of the DBG (DWT) registers in RM0440 chapter 47.Also in the PM0214 I could not find any details. In what document are these registers described?Thanks

Also, please add the details of bootloader entry through empty FLASH for Cat3. into RM0440.Thanks,JW

Hi,I forgot to comment the protections set in app_sfu.h and tried debugging the code. Later I realized and commented everything and it is not allowing me to flash the program on the device. I made RDP level 0 from cube programmer, but still write protection is enabled which is not allowing me to format the device. Could anyone please let me know how can i remove write protections in cube programmer.Thanks,Ankush

AN2606 Rev 55 Page 241/432 says "... bootloader is activated by applying Pattern 6... Table 2"AN2606 page 27/432 Table 2, Pattern 6. Boot0(pin) = 1, nBoot1(bit) = 1, nBoot0_SW(bit) = 1Boot0(bit) = 0, nBoot1(bit) = 1, nBoot0_SW(bit) = 0Other two cases are when Flash memory is empty. I do not care about those cases at the moment, but I am glad they are there. First issue:RM0444 Rev 5, Page 81/1390 there is no bit nBoot0_SW. There is also no "BOOT0" bit (There is an nBOOT0 bit)Second issue: assuming it was a typographical error, and nBoot0_SW is the same as nBoot_SEL it still does not work. nBoot_SEL is defined on page 82/1390 as Bit 24 nBOOT_SEL: Boot0 signal source selection This option defines the source of the BOOT0 signal: 0: BOOT0 pin (Legacy mode) 1: nBOOT0 option bit There is a Table 8 on page 66&67 of RM0444 that says to boot into system memory (which I assume is the Bootloader, why not use the same names across documents?) BOOT_LOCK = 0, nBOOT1 = 1, BOOT0 = 1 nBOOT_SEL = 0,

Strange problem again.I created a new empty STM32 project and selected C++. Now I made two functionsvoid test(uint8_t a) {   }   void test(uint16_t a) {   }But I get an error of redefining the function test. The file (like all source files) has the ending .c and if I change it to .cpp then it works. But if I change any of my other source files to .cpp the functions in those files are not found any more. If I leave the ending .c then I cannot overload functions. What is going on here???

Hi, may i know how to use the uart using stm32h750. I just try using the basic uart application which is hello world but nothing show up. I literally follow same setting with nucleo board for uart. but it does not working with stm32h750? May i know if its different setting or i miss something?btw I am using tera term as a serial monitor. Anyone know where can i refer or anyone can just show me how to do that?

Design phase of project and looking to add self test to a project using a STM32L476xx.STM32-CLASSB-SPL looks like the best way to achieve this.Can't fathom from the literature if the STM32L4 is compatible with these libraries.I fear it isn't.

I'm debugging a hand-stuffed PCB that could have a component stuffing error I cannot discern. The board's artwork is a minor tweak on a prior known-good PCB using a 32F413 in the 100-pin package.This board will not boot.However, all VDD pins are at +3V as intended and the nRESET pin is high. VCAP1 and VCAP2 pins are equipped with their 2.2uF bypass caps and have ~+1.2 volts on them. The quartz crystal is oscillating.Then strangely 3 seconds after application of VDD the voltage on both VCAP pins drops to zero and the crystal stops. nRESET remains high.What would force the VCAP pins to collapse to VSS after 3 seconds? TIA for any advice on this.

I am using a STM32-NUCLEO-F401RE and expansion board x-NUCLEO-CCA02M1. I am not using the library provide by STM. I trying to understand which serial communication protocol is better for this type of application and why it is better.Can someone help me?

The details on transparent mode are fairly lacking in the datasheet. I've found in another thread a few years ago a comment by Ulysses HERNIOSUS which revealed a bunch of extra info (Transparent mode (similar as in ST25R3911B) allows to have all necessary modulation and demodulated signals available on ins MOSI (modulation), MISO, IRQ (both demodulated), SCLK (receiver enable), MCU_CLK (extracted clock), EXT_LM (field detector) as digital signals. The configuration of the current modulation/demodulation/field detector parameters is done by configuring the registers.) which isn't in the datasheet, but there's still a lot of unknowns.To pre-empt some questions, I'm using transparent mode mostly for card emulation of otherwise unsupported protocols (like ISO 15693, and hopefully soon also ISO 14443b) so stream and other modes don't help, and I've got dedicated hardware that can operate synchrnously driven by the MCU_CLK to avoid issues with timing.* When in card emulation + transparent mo

Currently I am using the ST25R3911 Dev kit as a reference schematic but that IC seems to extra features compared to the ST25R95. Can I just ignore the trim capacitors and treat the RFO and RFI as Tx and Rx?Is there a better app note / dev kit I should be referencing?

Hello,maybe this might be of interest to many people using CubeIDE and HAL libraries.I've seen many threads here complaining that after a CubeIDE update HAL-related sources didn't work anymore.That didn't happen to me, mostly because I don't use many HAL sources.But just in case, how can I prevent that a CubeIDE update also updates the HAL files in my project?I usually start with CubeMX, then generate code for CubeIDE, with separate .h/.c files per peripheral, then I try not to use CubeMX again.If necessary I start another CubeMX project so that nothing of my original project is overwritten by CubeMX.

Hello there,recently I have found an error in the reference manual RM0410.On page 1546 in figure 503 Filtering mechanism - example it is Identifier #4, which matches the recevied message. However, in the description below it said Identifier #2. I don't know if other user has already found this, but i would like to report it.Best wishesJ.Pan

Hello everyone,Im faced with problem. I want to save headline name typed by keyboardThis is how I copy buffer to wildcard When I sent keyboard[2] to view like this:And throught presenter I save string to model:Presenter:Model:And in model I create Unicode::UnicodeChar* array like this. Am I doing this right?:When I store this data to model I take this info in other screenHere I take headline name and send it to getControllerText functionhere is this function:It is OK how I store Unicode::UnicodeChar* strings? Because when I want to save 2 strings then second string replace first one and it becomes the same. Maybe someone see the problem?When I store one string:The second one replace first string and second and I didint see why..

Hi all ~I'm trying to control GPIO input in own application. and I refered to below wiki. https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_control_a_GPIO_in_userspacethis is my code. gint gpiochip_fd, ret; gchar gpiochip_path[20]; struct gpioevent_request in_req; struct gpiohandle_request out_req; // IN1 PB12 gpiochip1 // IN2 PB5 gpiochip1 // IN3 PH6 gpiochip7 // IN4 PD15 gpiochip3 // IN5 PD14 gpiochip3 // IN6 PD11 gpiochip3 // IN7 PE7 gpiochip4 // IN8 PE9 gpiochip4 // IN9 PE8 gpiochip4 // IN10 PG9 gpiochip6 // IN11 PE10 gpiochip4 // IN12 PD12 gpiochip3 gint idx; gint in_gpio_chipno[NO_INPUT] = {1, 1, 7, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 6, 4, 3}; gint in_gpio_lineoffset[NO_INPUT] = {12, 5, 6, 15, 14, 11, 7, 9, 8, 9, 10, 12}; for (idx=0; idx<NO_INPUT; idx++) { g_sprintf(gpiochip_path, "/dev/gpiochip%d", in_gpio_chipno[idx]); gpiochip_fd = open (gpiochip_path, O_RDWR); if (gpiochip_fd == -1) fprintf(stderr, "Failed to open %s\n", gpiochip_path); else { in_req.lineoffset =

Hi!Problem described in title. The same setup working fine with 6.5.0 version of STM32CubeMX.Screenshot attached.

The part number is std120n4f6. The framework of DC 2045 is inconsistent with those DC after 2101.I want to know if there is a PCN about this problem during 2045 and 2101.

Hello guys, I have a problem with my project. I'm development the PS/2 (device, keyboard-like) protocol with my STM32F103C8T6 (Bluepill). When i convert my port to the open collector output, the noise appear in the PS/2 bus. In this moment, the STM32 controll de clock/data bus. I used open-collector to control de bus. I have a 10K resistor to pull-up the bus.For exemple: (0x1A data every second) Basically, this is my routine to generate the clock and data:clk_out; //PB10 -> Clock (Vai pra 1 no bit 10 e pra 0 no 26) dt_out; //PB11 -> Data (Vai pra 1 no bit 11 e pra 0 no 27) bit0_dt; btempo40us; bit0_clk; btempo20us; for(unsigned char x = 0; x < 8; x++){ btempo20us; bit1_clk; btempo20u if( dado & (1 << x) ){ bit1_dt; paridade++; }else{ bit0_dt; } btempo20us; bit0_clk; btempo20us; } btempo20us; bit1_clk; if(paridade % 2 == 0){ bit1_dt; }else{ bit0_dt; } btempo40us; bit0_clk; btempo40us; bit1_clk; bit1_dt; btempo40us; bit0_clk; btempo500us; bit1_clk; bit

Hi,I am interested in a device that can do both, read and be read.

Hi,I want to enable the SYSCGF in STM32WB55RGV6 , but when ı look the reference manuel; it says that SYSCFG is on the APB2 bus however when look the APB2ENR register there is nothing about SYSCFG . What should ı do to enable SYSCFG?

Hi!I am trying to store a real value in the flash memory of my STM32 but i am struggling to write it. Has anyone already done this in the same STM32L041x6 processor?If so , how can i do it? also, is it possible to read it back?Thanks in advance!!
