I created a MDK-ARM project in CubeMXwith touchgfx custom target, BW display 128x64I generate the sources via cube mx adn the touchgfx DesignerI try to compile and getTouchGFX\target\generated\TouchGFXConfiguration.cpp(32): error: #20: identifier "LCD1bpp" is undefinedIt looks like the Middlewares\ST\touchgfx\framework\include\platform\driver\lcd\LCD1bpp.h is not included.Had anyone this problem before?

I try to implement a multilevel menusystem with one scrollwheel-widget and pysical buttons.I added a scrollwheel with 10 items(even if my menu has not 10 items in every level of hierachy) and want to manage the items on my own, as i want to use this scrollwheel to show every level of my menusystemroot A A0 A1 B B0 B1 C C0 C1But i'm having some troubles with foring the correct redraw of the scrollwheel.I overloaded void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateItem(menuItemNormal& item, int16_t itemIndex)     void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateCenterItem(menuItemSelected& item, int16_t itemIndex)    I can navigate trough my root menu level and the overloaded update functions are called and i see ABC in a list as expected.When i want to switch to another menulevel i call a function to set the root of my scroolwheel to the new tree-node to show all it's leafes (set to C should show C0 and C1)When i have selected "C" the itemindex of the scrollwheel is 2I

I had been debugging this program for some time with no problems. After making change to a header file to resolve a conflict, the debugger would no longer run. The program compiled , loaded and verified OK, but as soon as the debug perspective appeared the console reported "connection lost" "shutting down" and the C/C++ perspective returned. The board itself ran OK, and other programs ran and debugged OK on it, but this one program always caused GDB to terminate. I was using "ST-Link GDB server", but I got the same problem with "OpenOCD".I couldn't find any way to diagnose the problem, just asking "What have I changed?".Eventually I discovered it was a value in the Expressions window, that had been invalidated by the change in the header file, that was causing GDB to exit. Not sure whether this is a problem with CubeIDE or with GDB as there doesn't seem to be any diagnostics.

at the datasheet:LDO only - can work with VOS0SMPS directly cant work with VOS0.SMPS on and supplies only the LDO - ?

Hi,is it possibility to show a list of files and folders with the fatfs library?Like "ls" in the console.

Hello all....Ok....not sure what i am missing here but this fails miserably....The compiler hates when I try and assign test = The return function works fine, I have made the return variable static so as not to lose the scope....test is an array so I expect test is the same as me doing &test[0]...What am I missing here?uint8_t test[6];   for (uint8_t k = 0; k < NO_ADC_CH; k++) { test = hex2Ascii(&stream[k]); test[4] = '\r'; test[5] = '\n'; //new line HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart2, test, sizeof(test)); }     char*hex2Ascii(uint16_t *val) { unsigned char d; static char buff[4];   buff[0] = (char)((d = (*val >> 12)) > 9 ? Hey allI am building an application using a STM32G071RB with a DRP1M1 as ucpd 0 and a USBDP1 (old SNK1M1) as ucpd 1 and new to the STM UCPD worldIn an attempt to start from a working base, I used the DRP1M1_DRP example project as a starting point. This works until I change the "USBPD_PORT_COUNT" in the .cproject file to "=2" at witch point the the running board stops being picked up by cubeMonitor After that I created a blank project to see if I could get both ucpd's working. The system only seems to work when cmsis v2 is used.The DemoUCPD example seems to run on cmsis v1, so my my question is there something I missed setting to get two ports on cmsis v1?These are the changes to the DRP1M1_DRP example so far-the additional PDO lists for port 1, in pdo_defs-adition of an ADC channel for sink vbus-setting "USBPD_PORT_COUNT=2" in the .cproject fileThanks

Hi everyone, Hope all is well. I am trying to setup a basic SPI demo for the STM32H753ZI using the nucleo H753ZI just seeing if I can output my test word onto the MOSI line.The conditions in my SPI demo is as follows:MCU clocked at 400MHzSPI is set as Full Duplex MasterSPI Clocked at 400MHz/256 = 1.5625MHz approxPA4 = SS, PA5 = CLK, PA6 = MISO, PA7 = MOSITheres no slave on the otherend just hooked up to the Salae logic Analyzer The issues I am seeing is that My SPI demo and STs theres no data on the MOSI line additional to that the CLK is behaving super weird in my SPI demo. You can see boths STs and My SPI demo down below from the logic anayalzer void initSPI() {   LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB4_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA); LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB4_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB);   LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI1); LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI2);   LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef LL_GPIO; LL_SPI_InitTypeDef LL_SPI1; LL_SPI_InitTypeDef LL_SPI2; &nbs

Hi,For stm32wb flash operations we have to implement diagram described in AN5289, page 36. How about option bytes access? Do we have apply the same approach, with semaphores etc? Or we just can use regular HAL functions? Best,Mateusz

My expectation was that a pin-interrupt using EXTI will lead to wakeup times just slightly longer than the wakeup delays named in the datasheet (below 10µs), but what I see is this (falling edge on yellow finally reached the ISR on the magenta rising edge :(This was measured using an STM32WB55 waking from STOP2.How is this delay explained and can I shorten it while still using stop-mode?EDIT:I tested the reaction from standby mode via a wkup pin as well and it's even a bit faster! (different project so no reverse edges by design)

Hello,We are now entering the stage of PCB editing and I wanted to ask for your help in the needed calculations and outcome of a printed antenna to be used with the ST25DV04K IC.I have read the app note titled "an2866-how-to-design-a-1356-mhz-customized-antenna-for-st25-nfc" but I find it hard to understand and so I turn to your professional help since I do not want to make any mistakes with this.Attached is an image of our PCB. As you can see it is a round PCB with a diameter of 34mm and a thickness of 0.8mm. I can see from the ST25DV datasheet that the Ctun internal capacitor value of the ST25DV is 28.5pF but from this point I am lost. Can you please assist me?Thank you,Nir.

Hi. I'm running through the STM32 starting tutorial and I am at a piece of code that configures GPIO pins. One of the instructions on the readme is this:In order to load the ExtMem_Boot code : - Open your preferred toolchain :- Open the Project - Rebuild all files - Load project image What does "load project image" actually mean, in terms of what I have to mechanically do? And what is a "project image"?This is for an STM32F7508 Discovery Board, and the readme is from STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.0\Projects\STM32F7508-DISCO\Examples\GPIO\GPIO_IOToggle. Please let me know if more information is required, I am relatively new to embedded systems.According to other similar questions ("Load images into target memory" on 07/07/2020, no link bc ST Forums won't allow me) this can be resolved by "compiling both the CM4 and CM7 applications, and flash the resultant .HEX or .ELF into the device." The issue is that I have not found a "CM4" or "CM7" application, nor am I familiar with

I have an existing STM32L433 project (CubeIDE 1.8.0) to which I want to add AES functionality via the CMOX crypto stack (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-cryptolib.html). I am unclear as to where I am supposed to put the .a file, and also what changes, if any, that I need to make in the .ioc configuration.How can I add this library to my project?

I have the following block of code. I am averaging 6 A/D inputs. Stream holds these 6 average values and looks fine. One at a time the loop converts each sample to ascii and appends '\n' and '\r' and then transmits them over the UART. If I use UART_Transmit as seen all looks fine (UART running at 115200). If however I try and use UART_Transmit_IT some samples do NOT transmit to the laptop the correct value (as I compare the Stream values to the laptop values). Can someone tell me why this command call isn't working correctly? My expectation is I transmit a value + '\n' + '\r' . The code waits until done (HAL_OK) and then the loop continues and does the second piece of data and so on....for (k = 0; k < NO_ADC_CH; k++) { test = hex2Ascii(stream + k); //while (!(HAL_OK == HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(&huart2, test, 6))); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, test, 6, 10); }

Using a Nucleo-G431KB developoment board, I played a bit with UART RX DMA.I started a DMA RX on a linear buffer, and would stop and then restart the DMA.I just observed that after receiving a couple of bytes, HAL_UART_DMAStop no longer stops the DMA on UART RX. The HAL_UART_DMAStop call does not return an error, but HAL_UART_Receive_DMA does, as the tranfer never stopped. I also observed characters would still be received into the DMA UART RX buffer, confirming the DMA didn't stop.It happens only after I received a couple of bytes in the buffer. A single byte caused no problems.I couldn't find the root cause.Anyway, starting HAL_UART_Receive_DMA only once on a circular buffer and checking __HAL_DMA_GET_COUNTER is a better approach for incoming UART data of random size.I'm just wondering if somebody noticed this too.Is it a bug in HAL?Unfortunately, I no longer have the code but it was just straight forward, like calling in a loop, something along these lines:uint8_t DataRX[256]; &

I want to create my own distro for OpenSTLinux but it seems like the envsetup.sh file is dependent on the distro.conf file being located in the meta-st directory. This is a little hard because I am trying to not modify the meta-st layer but am trying to build on it. What would be the best way to create my own distro.conf file that is usable by the envsetup.sh but storable in another layer. I am using a hardlink pointing to the other layer for now.https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_create_your_own_distribution

I have successfully designed a product which uses ISM330DHCX. However this unit only allows for a maximum of +/- 4000 dps, and within the application of the product, the gyro can saturate at high speeds.Are there any plans on releasing a product that can measure +/- 8000 dps? This range would cover what I need.Thank you.

Hello,The STM32F7 supports up to two external SDRAM ICs, where both SDRAM ICs basically share the same set of pins. Given all the restrictions on creating traces between STM32 and SDRAM (different layers, same length, same number of vias, ...), how can I possibly wire two ICs to the same STM32?Do I need to double the number of layers? Can I create a split (junction) in every trace?What is the best strategy for this? Are there any successful examples?

I am using Stellar SR6X7 EVB8000p rev B evaluation board.Trace32 with Lauterbach is used to load the image into the target.After some usage , getting message access timeout and core running.Due to this unable to boot using trace32. Any suggestions ?.

It seems, as if CubeMX6.7.0 for STM32U575Z_Q for ADC1 external trigger you cannot choose ADC1_EXT_IT11 or ADC1_EXT_IT15 Is my observation correct? Is this missing?
