Hi,I'm running STM32Cube 1.11.2 under Ubuntu 22.04While I can compile the TCP_Echo_Client_PPP example with no issue, I can't do the same with TCP_Echo_Client.The compilation issue is the tx_thread_schedule.s has undefined references to _tx_thread_secure_stack_context_save, _tx_thread_secure_stack_context_restore, _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_allocate, _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_free and _tx_thread_secure_mode_stack_initializeThis issue is systematic, including trying with a fresh new workspace.Thank you for your help,Guillaume

Hi, I am trying to get DAC work on Nucleo-L432KC board, DAC 1 is activated, output on Pin PA4, normal mode, output buffer enabled, software trigger, no wave generation, and LL driver. I use LL_DAC_ConvertData12RightAligned or WRITE_REG(DACx->DHR12R1, dac_data) to write the dac output data with the voltages measured on PA4:dac_data=0, VPA4=0.041V dac_data=409, VPA4=2.992V dac_data=819, VPA4=2.659V dac_data=1228, VPA4=2.328V dac_data=1638, VPA4=1.996V dac_data=2047, VPA4=1.664V dac_data=2457, VPA4=1.332V dac_data=2866, VPA4=1.000V dac_data=3276, VPA4=0.668V dac_data=3685, VPA4=0.336V dac_data=4095, VPA4=0.041V dac_data=0,, VPA4=0.041VVREF = VDDA = 3.323V. The data is 1/10th incremental from 0 to VDDA. I expected to see same increment on output voltage. However, it is backward from near VDDA (actually 2.992V, 9/10 of VDDA) to 0V. The output is reversed. It is also weird that the output is 0.041V when dac_data is 0 (if the dac is reversed, I expected to see near VDDA when dac_data=0).

Hi,I'm wondering whether I'm always getting into the HAL layer when configuring a project using the CubeMX configurator in STM32CubeIDE? Is it configurable? How to I get rid of the HAL layer while still being able to use the configurator? Where is the decision taken?EDIT: found it. was up to delete my question but I'll leave the answer here anyway. In the project manager tab one can configure whether one wishes to generate HAL or LL code.

We are working with an STM32L476JGY6TR with a project generated through cube, and we have sometimes seen a sporadic issue with the LSCOEN bit being set in the RCC->BDCR register. This causes the LSE clock to be output on PA2 where we are using the UART.We have mitigated the problem by explicitly setting the BDCR register to all zero before calling SystemClock_Config() and disabling access to the backup domain. However, we do not know exactly why this happened and whether it may happen during runtime. So far we've seen the problem at boot-up (reports from different developers are not clear on if it is only at boot-up or if it also occurred runtime). We never set the LSCOEN bit on purpose at any point in our program. We want to be sure that it doesn't happen again during runtime. Any help and/or tips is greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to minimize the current consumption of an STM32G031K but I can't reach the ones calculated by the STM32CubeMX in any way. I tried with Low Power Sleep Mode, Stop Mode 0 and Stop mode 1. In Stop Mode 1, according to STM32CubeMX I should have 3.36uA, actually it consumes over 700uA. The MCU is connected in the minimum possible configuration: VDD=2.8V, GND, NRST connected to the 0.1uF capacitor, SWDIO and SWCLK. However I cannot use the extension as the commands are not available. If I try to run the command via the command palette, I get a "command not found" error popup. Thanks in advance for any ideas or help to move forward.

Hello, Using the stock image I've found I can manipulate the red LED on PA13 by using gpio commands:gpioset gpiochip0 13=0 gpioset gpiochip0 13=1I need to access Pin 38 and Pin 40 on the 40 pin header, which are PI6 and PF11.These are both tied to the SAI2 device. I removed the device, and the modules and set these pins as outputs and they are unused:# gpioinfo |grep PI6 line 6: "PI6" unused output active-high # gpioinfo |grep PF11 line 11: "PF11" unused output active-highManipulation of these is done the same way:root@stm32mp1:~# gpioset gpiochip5 11=0 root@stm32mp1:~# gpioset gpiochip5 11=1 root@stm32mp1:~# gpioset gpiochip8 6=0 root@stm32mp1:~# gpioset gpiochip8 6=1   However, Neither of these pins go "high" and they are always "low". And since they are set to active-high, like PA13, I would expect them to be "on" at boot.   Am I doing something wrong, or do I have a misunderstanding of how this works?

The NFC hardware chosen is the ST25DV64K. From iOS mobile app, I am trying to read the entire memory block from 0 to 2047. Because of iOS limitation on extendedReadMultipleBlocks, as suggested in your workaround, I am using for loop to run extendedReadSingleBlock by iterating through the address blocks. But it does not read the entire block, and I could see Code=102 "Tag response error / no response" or Code=100 "Tag connection lost" after reading around 1000 blocks. Is there a way to read the entire memory of 2048 blocks.var tmpBuffer:Data = Data.init(repeating: 0x00,count: 1)              var blockNumber:Int = Int(startAddress)                             for index in 0...numberOfItems-1 {              &

Hi, we would like to change from 24MHz to 8MHz which is available in our stock, I see in device tree, file stm32mp151.dtsiclocks { clk_hse: clk-hse { #clock-cells = <0>; compatible = "fixed-clock"; clock-frequency = <24000000>; }; .....I changed clock-frequency = <8000000>;Is that enough or I do have to set some other config? If there is some other places need to change, could you tell me which ones should be, please?

Hello, I bought STM32MP157D-DK1 design kit. But I would like to buy the display board from ST. is it possible?Because I only saw that if you buy the STM32MP157F version. Many thanks,Mauricio

I am very new to STM32 dev environment using atollic truestudio at this moment. I have very tight deadline of my project and want an example to see onewire master-slave transmission over uart/usart with or without dma. I tried to search it over the st community, did not get any luck. Any advice will be great.

When I try to migrate project (.ioc) from STM32CubeMX V6.5.0 to STM32CubeMX V6.8.0 (STM32Cube FW_F3 V1.11.4 used) the following hint pops up:After selection of 'Migrate' or 'Continue' the following error pops up:My question:Is there a way to migrate STM32CubeMX-Project-File without using STM32CubeIDE?Rowley CrossWorks for ARM is used for code development.

I'm building several projects based on STM32H745 and upgraded to STM32CubeMX 6.8. Upon doing so, VOS0 no longer is an option when using PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY:6.7: Now with 6.8: Of course, this changes all the peripheral speeds and causes many problems with existing applications. I don't think this is correct. I have an incredibly simply project that does nothing other than initialize FDCAN using generated code which immediately goes into Hardware Fault. Using 6.7, this does not happen at all.
