Solved

My Board is the STM32-G431KB Nucleo-32. I have a Mavlink Serial Tx/Rx (From a PX4 Autopilot) connected to PA10/PA9.I am attempting to receive serial data at 115200 8N1 on UART1 and then send it at the same rate on UART2. I am just doing a basic polling implementation of HAL_UART_Receive() grabbing a single byte at a time.Unfortunately, HAL_UART_Receive only gets the first byte and transmits it. After the first loop, HAL_UART_Receive doesn't get any new data from the serial line. I can see there is good data coming in on UART1 with a logic analyzer. If I don't set to 0 in the while loop, it just transmits out the last byte received over and over.int main(void) { /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART2_UART

I'm trying to port the STM32G071 NUCLEO DEMO downloaded via TouchGFX Designer 4.15.0 to the NUCLEO-F446RE.In order to use the external SPI Flash memory on the X-NUCLEO-GFX01M1 I need the external loder for the STM32F4 processor. The project downloaded via TouchGFX Designer 4.15.0 provides the external loader MX25L6433F_STM32G071B_NUCLEO.stldr in binary format. Is it possible to have the external loader project so that it can be adapted to other STM32s (STM32F446 in my case) ?Or I have to necessarily implement it from scratch, maybe I get started on the MOOC "How to create an external QSPI loader MOOC" ?

In the new version of IDE, it became possible to select different toolchains. I updated GNU Tools to the latest version available, but C ++ 17 never showed up in the list of available ones.

So far, the boards are working correctly up until the Bus voltage reaches around 130Vin. Then, when monitoring the gate signals on the board at the GH and GL pin on the MasterGAN, the high side of one of the boards seems to not switch correctly anymore. The low side is switching just fine (so out of the 4 gate signals of the 2 EVAL boards, 1 of them stops working correctly). I have tried adding more bootstrap capacitance to the EVAL board, but that doesn't seem to work. Is there a certain amount of power that the internal bootstrap diode can handle, and we need to add an external one, or is there another problem?

I have an STM32MP157A-DK1 dev board and I have successfully build and flashed the st-image-core (Distribution-Package) and flashed to sdcard.I want to add ModemManager and NetworkManager to the build. I see that meta-oe layer appears to be included and within meta-oe is a recipes-connectivity which contains ModemManager. How can I enable this in the build?Additionally, I don't see NetworkManager in any layers. Is thare an equivalent functionality within another package?Thank you

I am using the IMU LSM9DS1. However, when developing the library for communicating with the IMU and reading the accelerometer values, I noticed something odd.According to the datasheet, the sensitivity of the accelerometer is given by: which normally can be given by the formula: scale / 32768, where scale = 2,4,8,16;This formula works for all scales except for 16g. In this case, the formula gives 0.488 mg/LSBSo, I wanted to know if the formula that I am using is wrong or if the datasheet is wrong, because according to the formula, the 0.732mg/LSB sensitivity corresponds to 24g. Also when using the sensitivity value of 0.732mg/LSB I can obtain readings of 20gThanks in advance,Best regards

HelloAre the screen buttons visible in the main.c function? Do they need to be communicated in some way?Best regerdsAndrzej

HiHow do I install a new font?best regardsAndrzej

How could I in code sense that something is connected to the JTAG/SWD connector?

I'm able to configure LPUART1 fine and have been communicating on it. However, for the life of me I can't find the way to enable RX/TX interrupts via CubeMX. I'd rather use the UI if I can. Please see the screenshot attached. As you can see, I have LPUART1 enabled... but there are no entries available in the NVIC list.Any ideas?

Hi, i'm using custom board based on the STM32F769I_dsico board (using the same LCD drv, DSI comm). Now i wanted to use DSI video mode but i had some issues with starting the DSI video mode to work. after succeeding to start the video mode with touchgfx. i found tearing issues, so now i'm trying to use double buffering I generated code sample for DSI video mode with double buffer, but sitll i have the tearing issue. after debugginf i found only the second buffer is updated not the 1st buffer. So how to fix this issue?

Hi ST,I am doing a project: Use TouchGFX to generate image, link to SDRAM, MCU will get and show on LTDC (MIPI-DSI Interface). I don't know how does TouchGFX link to SDRAM.How to build project touchGFX (MIPI-DSI interface)?Thank you.

Hi,We wish to include the ST25DV64K in our product for two main reasons:1. Most importantly: The electronics in our product will be completely sealed in by a potting mass, in order to ensure waterproofness. We need a way to establish a serial communications link between a PC and the microcontroller, which will be used both in the factory during production, and in testing, certification and for field diagnostics. As fas as I understand, the ST25's 256-byte high-speed buffer should be able to give us such a serial communications bridge over NFC or RFID. However, I have problems finding a proper off-the-shelf reader that would provide this in a plug-and-play manner. Ideally, I would buy an NFC or RFID reader that can be plugged into the USB port on a PC, and provide me with something similar to a PuTTY bi-directional serial communication stream. I would power on my product, place the reader up to its NFC antenna, and talk back and forth with the microcontroller. Does this exist? Is t

When I use the normal Win10 'Add/Remove' programs utility to uninstall ST32Cube Programmer, I get the following error"Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_261\bin\javaw.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." (see attached image).I don't have any current need for the STM32Cube Programmer, so I'd like to get rid of it for the time being - how do I do that?TIA,Frank

Helloi'm trying to get started with the STM32MP1 env, and I'm having some issues building the trusted firmware boot image, after following the steps from: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_TF-AI'm, building it with the following commands, on the v2.2-stm32mp branch, with gcc version 9.3.0 (Ubuntu 9.3.0-17ubuntu1~20.04) , no changes on the git branch:make distclean   make CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf- ARCH=aarch32 ARM_ARCH_MAJOR=7 PLAT=stm32mp1 DTB_FILE_NAME=stm32mp157a-dk1.dtb FDT_SOURCES=fdts/stm32mp157a-dk1.dts DEBUG=1 STM32MP_SDMMC=1 dtbs   make CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabihf- ARCH=aarch32 ARM_ARCH_MAJOR=7 PLAT=stm32mp1 DTB_FILE_NAME=stm32mp157a-dk1.dtb FDT_SOURCES=fdts/stm32mp157a-dk1.dts DEBUG=1 STM32MP_SDMMC=1I can see the following messages on the serial console:NOTICE: CPU: STM32MP157AAC Rev.B NOTICE: Model: STMicroelectronics STM32MP157A-DK1 Discovery Board NOTICE: Board: MB1272 Var1.0 Rev.C-01 INFO: Reset reason (0x15): INFO: Power-on Reset (rst_po

Hi,I try to use setWideTextAction() to wrap my long text into new lines as it goes over screen. However, setWideTextAction does not seem to do anything. What I have done:-disable Auto-size and set text area size within screen limits (to generate code below)-set Ellipsis character for this typography to *-use code:textPopup.setPosition(29, 0, 180, 160); textPopup.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(207, 207, 207)); textPopup.setLinespacing(0); textPopup.setTypedText(touchgfx::TypedText(T_SINGLEUSEID228));     textPopup.setWideTextAction(WIDE_TEXT_CHARWRAP); textPopup.invalidate(); textPopup.resizeToCurrentText(); textPopup.resizeHeightToCurrentText(); textPopup.invalidate();There is no ellipsis character, no newlines, the text just prints over the borders like it was not there. How to use this? Thanks!

HeI'm sending the program.I want to display min_current from main.c after pressing the START button in AreaMin instead of the min given by ButtonADD_MIN and ButtonSUB_MIN buttonsgreetings

I am currently seeing an assert_param failure within the HAL_ADC_Init() method in stm32h7xx_hal_adc.c file.Specifically the following assertion is failing:assert_param(IS_ADC_RIGHT_BIT_SHIFT(hadc->Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift));The value being passed into the assertion is 0x140 which is being initialised in MX_ADC1_Init() and MX_ADC3_Init() as follows:hadc1.Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift = ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_10; hadc3.Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift = ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_10;I believe the actual issue is the macro in the file stm32h7xx_hal_adc_ex.h:#define IS_ADC_RIGHT_BIT_SHIFT(__SHIFT__) (((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_NONE) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_1 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_2 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_3 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_4 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_5 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_6 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_7 ) || \ ((__SHIFT__) == ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_8 ))which o

I'm trying to configure Bank 1 of the FMC in Mode 1 (SRAM). I'm nearly there but ran into a frustrating problem, where it insisted on writing 64 bytes despite me setting the FMC's MWID register to 01 (16 bits) and using a uint16_t* in C to perform the write. The reference manual mentions an AXI bus width of 64 bits, and seems to imply that it's configurable somewhere, but I can't find where that might be. On an oscilloscope, I can see that when I try to perform a 16-bit write, chip select goes high and there are four write strobes. If I set MWID to 8 bits, there are eight write strobes. MWID to 32 bits gives two write strobes. Where else besides the BTCR register do I need to configure the FMC's bus width? Here's my configuration, for reference: // Zero out all the bits we want to configure (or to be zero) FMC_Bank1_R->BTCR[0] &= ~( FMC_BCR1_FMCEN | FMC_BCR1_BMAP | FMC_BCR1_WFDIS | FMC_BCR1_CCLKEN | FMC_BCRx_CBURSTRW | FMC_BCRx_CPSIZE | FMC_BCRx_ASYNCWAIT | FMC_BCRx_EXTM

I have STM32CubeMX and STM32CubeIDE installed, but each use a different Firmware repositort folder. So I have to download (with a slow ADSL line) and install twice every firmware package.I want to install the package in a directory out of C:/users/Admin because I doesn't have the right to search in these directories. The repository path and button is grayed in the Updater settings:What can I do ?Thanks.
