Hi Sir,ALED6001 eDesign show BJT is as the red rectangle.However, most PNP BJT is show as below picture.I search some data, they show exchanging BJT's E and C, BJT can work. However, the hfe will decrease and the BJT cannot afford high voltage.Below example is for NPN.https://www.rohm.com/electronics-basics/transistors/understanding-transistorsWhy eDesign exchange E and C?Thank you.

i use STM32CubeProgrammer.but i know that STM32CubePorgrammer don't support STM32G070RB(NUCLEO-G070RB).STM32CubeProgrammer's Manual explains "STM32CubeProgrammer supports STM32 32-bit MCUs based on Arm®(a) Cortex®-M processors and STM32 32-bit MPUs based on Arm® Cortex®-A processors"STM32G070RB is STM 32-bit MCU.why not support STM32G070RB???where can i see information about whether STM32CubeProgrammer supports MCU series???

Hello,In order to do some complex animation like screen slide transition, I would like to add a second framebuffer to my touchGFX project on the STM32F469I-DISCO board (800x480 screen). According to the documentation given by ST, I've got 16 MB of external SDRAM to work with which should be more than enough. I've tried the following configurations with CUBEMX:Framebuffer Strategy: Double BufferBuffer Location: By AddressStart Address: 0xC0000000Start Address 2: 0xC00BB800ANDFramebuffer Strategy: Double BufferBuffer Location: By AllocationHowever, when I launch the project on the dev board, the screen always freezes and a lot of colored points appeared. How can I fix this issue ?Thanks in advance,Tristan

CubeMX generates pinctrl bindings inside ltdc node, while here : https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/LTDC_device_tree_configuration pinctrl bindings reside inside panel node

I have the STM32F302R8 board and I have this problem.The clock is at default 8 Mhz.TIM2 is configured with toggle output CH1 on PA0. (This works fine).TIM15 is configured as input capture CH1 on PA2.I have a jumper between PA0 and PA2.The aim is that when TIM2 reaches the value of CCR1 it triggers the PA0 pin, which happens, and having the jumper with the PA2 pin should trigger the TIM15 input but this does not happen.The while that checks the CC1IF flag never ends, it doesn't detect anything.What can it be?while (1) { // wait until input edge is captured while ( !(TIM15->SR & TIM_SR_CC1IF)) {} timestamp = TIM15->CCR1; // read captured counter value }   void mi_GPIO_Init ( void ) { RCC->AHBENR |= RCC_AHBENR_GPIOAEN | RCC_AHBENR_GPIOBEN; GPIOA->MODER &= ~GPIO_MODER_MODER0; // clear PA0 mode GPIOA->MODER |= GPIO_MODER_MODER0_1; // set pin to alt function GPIOA->AFR[0] &= ~GPIO_AFRL_AFRL0; // clear pin AF bits GPIOA->AFR[0] |= 0x0000001;

I'm shopping for MCU / MPU hybrid processors like the STM32MP1, targeting applications that need Ethernet connectivity to both the MCU and the MPU. Simultaneous connectivity would be easiest to plan for, but selectable connectivity might also work.I would like to understand the topology of the Ethernet connection within the STM32MP1 among the Cortex-M and Cortex-A. I've scoured all of the STM32MP1 documentation and can find information only about the Ethernet component itself, and nothing on how it can be assigned or shared among the integral Cortex-M and Cortex-As. The STM32MP1 product introduction states that "most peripherals can be allocated to either the Cortex-A7 or Cortex-M4 cores". If this applies to the Ethernet MAC, does that mean that it can be allocated to only one of these at a time, not both? Can the allocation be changed on a running system, and does this require a reboot? Where is the mechanism for allocation documented?If the Ethernet interface is allocated to the Cort

It seems to be bug in driver. Please confirm.

Hello,I have a question about the configuration of the SDO_Aux pin. The datasheet of the ISM330DHCX suggests to leave the pin unconnected or connected to VDD_IO . Which is the most stable configuration?Thanks !

Hi!MCU: STM32L433VCTCubeMX, HAL12bit ADCADC clock is 250kHz637,5 cycles on every channelVREFBUF is disabledVDD is 3V3I'm currently trying to measure VREFINT and "compare" it to the value stored in the flash, to get accurate ADC measurements. The stored value for VREFINT is 1656 for 3V. As I have 3V3, I need to calculate the "equivalent" for 3V3. To do so, 1656 is devided by 1.1 (3V3 / 3V) which is 1505. The measurement result for VREFINT is 1440, which is way off what I expect.My VDDA to VSSA and my VREF+ to VREF- voltage are both 3.302V. The ripple is around 5mV. According to the datasheet of the STM32, VREFINT is min. 1,182, typ. 1,212, max. 1,232.vrefint_3V0_flash = 1656 => (1656/4095) * 3V = 1,213V => seems correct.vrefint_3V3_flash = 1505 => (1505/4095) * 3V3 = 1,213V => seems correct.vrefint_3V3_measured = 1440 => (1440/4095) * 3V3 = 1,160V => seems incorrect.As vrefint_3V3_measured is not between VREFINT min. and VREFINT max. it seems incorrect to me. vrefext_m

So I tried to implement USB Host via USB_OTG_HS peripheral. I enable all the interrupts under NVIC setting (as I don't understand which one to choose). When I attach my USB stick, it is able to detect the USB, the user callback USBH_UserProcess() is triggered with id HOST_USER_CONNECTION. However, when I release the breakpoint from there, software went to Hard Fault, call stack is below:Thread #1 [main] 1 [core: 0] (Suspended : Breakpoint) HardFault_Handler() at stm32f7xx_it.c:102 0x80032de <signal handler called>() at 0xfffffffd prvPortStartFirstTask() at port.c:261 0x800bdd8 xPortStartScheduler() at port.c:367 0x800c068  I noticed just prior to the hard fault, it tried to access memory 0xfffffffd which I dont recall any of my data or code reside there. The code is so far one generated by the STM32CubeMX tool. Following is the disassembly when that 'suspicious' memory access done:fffffffd: Failed to execute MI command: -data-disassemble -s 4294967293 -e 4294967392

I have a Win10 notebook computer. When I run the Flash Loader Demonstrator, it correctly finds the com port being used (the only one) but when I click 'Next' it always says "Cannot open the com port, the port may be used by another application". This is from a clean boot, and even on other computers. How do I fix this?

I'm trying to experiment with a NAND flash connected to a STM32L476VG and I'm using CubeMX to set everything up. No matter what I do, I cannot get CubeMX to show me a NAND flash as an option for the FMC. The options are LCD, Muxed NOR and Muxed PSRAM.Am I doing something wrong? AN4761 states that the STM32L476VG can be connected to a NAND flash, but for some reason CubeMX won't allow me to select it.

I use a scroll list with setItemSelectedCallback. In principle, it works. But our measurement device needs to be explosion proof and therefore it has a rather thick glass above the screen.If an entry of the scroll list is selected, it sometimes happens that the list is scrolled by 1 or 2 pixels. Select callback is not called in this case. As a work around, I have placed a button into the list element. The button works because it is only required that the coordinates at release time needs to be only somewhere within the button. Is it possible that the scroll list is only scrolled after the scroll distance is longer than 1 or 2 pixel?

Hi, Am trying to connect SensorTile Box Using St-Link to flash the Program. But When I connect in DFU mode "USB" is getting detected, but through ST-Link V2, the serial numbers getting detected but am not able to connect. It says "STM32 Target not found". I have attached 2 images for ref. Please confirm which connections are correct.Image 1- I have connected the St-Link with Jtag in the Adapter.Image 2- I have attached the adapter directly into the St-Link.Also Please clarify "How to Connect the ST-LInk V2 in DFU mode in CubeProgrammer?".Regards,Shivashankari.

Hello all,I am working with the STM32L152RE and want to read out the internal temperature sensor of the mikrocontroller. My code is the following:#define TS_CAL1 *((uint16_t*) 0x1FF800FA) // 30 °C#define TS_CAL2 *((uint16_t*) 0x1FF800FE) // 10 °Cdouble Get_Temp(void){   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   HAL_StatusTypeDef Res; // GLOBAL CONFIGURATION hadc.Instance = ADC1; hadc.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV1; hadc.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc.Init.LowPowerAutoWait = ADC_AUTOWAIT_DISABLE; hadc.Init.LowPowerAutoPowerOff = ADC_AUTOPOWEROFF_DISABLE; hadc.Init.ChannelsBank = ADC_CHANNELS_BANK_A; hadc.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc.Init.NbrOfConversion = 1; hadc.Init.DiscontinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc.Init.ExternalTrigConv = ADC_SOFTWARE_START; hadc.Init.ExternalTrigConvEdge = ADC_EXTERNALTRIG

Hello everyone,I am using the NucleoH723ZG board and I'd like to use the internal reference voltage for ADC-purposes. Initialising the VREFBUF... VREFBUF->CSR &= ~VREFBUF_CSR_VRS_Msk; //Voltage Reference set to 2.5V VREFBUF->CSR &= ~VREFBUF_CSR_HIZ_Msk; //VREF+ pin is internally connected to the voltage reference buffer output VREFBUF->CSR |= VREFBUF_CSR_ENVR; //Enable Voltage Reference while(!((VREFBUF->CSR) & VREFBUF_CSR_VRR)) //Wait for voltage reference ready { ; }...the code gets stuck in the while-loop. (The clock is also enabled for VREF) Is it possible that this is not intended using the Nucleo Board? I wonder how the VREFP signal on the Nucleo board is connected to the Microcontroller (respectively to the VDD?). Unfortunately I couldn't found the answer in the user manual of the nucleo board. Thank you for your help.Dietmar

Good day. Will it be enough to buy SPC5-UDEDEBG & SPC5-UDESTK-EVALfor unlimited in time and code size debugging of SPC57/58?

All sample programs in STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.9.0 are without CubeMX config file (.ioc).Configuring from scratch my nucleo-H753ZI with CobeMX (latest version) and moving sample software does not work, like CubeMX setting something wrong

Hello, I want to set up checks for HP filter mode, relative reference mode and absolute reference mode in the device LIS2DW12(according to the document ST released.However I do not understand how should I see the difference between the modes.Can you reference me to a document explaining the difference between the modes?Thank youMaya

Hi, guys.STM32 have a several series STM32F, STM32L, W, U, H..., but what is the meaning of F, L, W, H?(like a F: fast, L: large, H: high spec...?)I think this work is just an version number, someone know is it?Thank you.

I suspect a low power setting.Tested on STM32F746Disco and on Arduino https://github.com/stm32duino/X-NUCLEO-GNSS1A1.

Hi,I have a CubeIDE peroject with STM32H753ZI, C++, TreadX, Nucleo-H753ZI board. This device has 2MB Flash and 16 sectors of 128K each. 16 x 128K = 2MB but the generated stm32h7xx_hal_flash_ex.h includes only 8 sectors. Only OB_WRP_SECTOR_0-7 are defined. Whaere is the rest?Best regards,Osto

The datasheet for the IIS2DLCP gives an operating voltage range of 1.62 to 3.6V. But the supply voltage will usually not be just a clean DC voltage. It might have an AC component (ripple) or there might be short voltage dips caused by load transients on the supply. Will this affect the device function, for example the accuracy? How much ripple or voltage variation is allowed?

Dear Supporters,iam purchanging a STEVAL-BFA001V1B kit and STEVAL-IDP004V1 IO-Link master Board,now i wanted to connect my IO_Link master Board to STM32 Nucleo Board and use Nucleo Board as main Controller. is it possible for data transfer between IO Master Board and Nucleo ?, if so what are the best transfer interfaces (RS 485 or I2C). i come to know that IO master Board has a I²C, so is it possible for communicaion to Nucelo Board?.Thaning you,Nag
