Hello, I get the same error recently on 1.19.0 for my STM32U385RGTxQ. The only option available in Power Supply source is PWR_LDO_SUPPLY
HiWe are using STM32U073CC MCU in a project. Our development tools are:STM32CubeIDEVersion: 2.0.0Build: 26820_20251114_1348 (UTC) STM32CubeMXVersion 6.16.0 WE are using the HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT to wake up the mcu from stop mode. The code code works fine, bur some the RTC INT does not fire. Is there any official sample code for this application? Ou maybe some sort of bug with the new IDE? I also have noticed that HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT has a aditional parameter compared with am older ide. Coud you provide me some extre information on the correct usage of the WakeUpAutoClr parameter? BRGilberto
From Cube 1.19.0, i keep getting the "For the best power consumption figure, enable SMPS" and although the Nucleo-U385RG-Q board uses a Q variant, I'm not able to switch to SMPS from CubeMX.
Hello,I am trying to understand the memory allocation for the FDCAN, I am using a nucleo H723ZG.With the latest CubeIDE 1.18.1 I seem to be able to configure 32 TX Buffers and 32 TX FIFOs:However the message RAM mapping in AN5348 - Rev 5 shows that there are only a maximum on 32 for both Buffers and FIFOs:Is there a mistake in the MX interface that should not allow more that 32 of Buffers + FIFOs combined, or the memory mapping has 2 sections of up to 32 elements for both buffers and FIFOs? Thanks,Marco
Hello,I have custom PCB based on STM32H563ZIT6 with external memory MX25L51245G(W25N01xx in schem.) and Riverdi display. I use ExternalLoader from https://github.com/cturvey/stm32extldr/tree/4dcb141b9cf6da2ee3fddf154d073bb6218a52e5/h5_mx25l51245g. Problem is that I cannot connect to the memory in CubeProgrammer. My aim is to completely program all code, images, texts and everything from TouchGFXDesigner I plan to use for pretty complex GUI so ex. mem. is necessary for me. I have attached my code and schematics to pcb. Things that seem to be right and working:- OCTOSPI1 configuration in CubeMX ( same as mentioned ex. loader need it )one HW problem is that CS pin is attached to PA15 pin which is not intented for OCTOSPI1 settings, so I put wire around 8cm from PA15(reset state) to PG6(same pin as display uses for CS, is it ok? display is disconnected at the moment) through 2k2 pull up resistor. Also tried to increase clock prescaler to 4-8 to stabilize connection. May thi

Posted on May 23, 2018 at 16:45Hello, I am trying x-nucleo-plc01a1. but there are two jumpers (J5 and J11) on the board. I can't find any document to describe how to use them. Anybody can help?thank you.
As alread reported a while ago, strange things happen when entering an expression in CubeMX for Prescaler and/or Autoreload. If, for example, 72-1 is entered for Prescaler and 6667-1 for Autoreload, the following code will be generated:STM32CubeMX: TIM Prescaler, Period bug TIM_InitStruct.Prescaler = 72-LL_TIM_IC_FILTER_FDIV1_N2; ... TIM_InitStruct.Autoreload = 6667-LL_TIM_IC_FILTER_FDIV1_N2; LL_TIM_IC_FILTER_FDIV1_N2 does not make any sense here.Depending on the exact values, the Timer will be initialized with some different settings than desired. With simple constants (without calculations) the generated code will be correct. In contrast to the previous post, in my case the MCU was a STM32F303.CubeMX is Version: 6.15.0-RC7, Build: 20250701-1659 (UTC)
Hi, I'm trying to come up to speed with the VSCode workflow, coming from experience so far only using CubeIDE. In CubeIDE, it seems that I was encouraged to think of having a "workspace", in which several projects co-existed. I enjoyed the ability to be able to have multiple projects "open" at once, to be able to compare code and easily understand/navigate to out-of-project source code, like centralized libraries and such. The VScode workflow, in contrast, seems to want me to only open a single project at once, otherwise CMake seems to get crabby. This is slightly annoying in that it requires me to open multiple windows in order to see multiple projects simultaneously, but notably more annoying when I am trying to use out-of-project code - I need to open a second window at a higher directory level, but can't actually build anything in this second window. It's kind of cluttered and confusing. It also seems to kind of push me away from the path of having a git repo t
STM32CubeProgrammer v2.21.0 I implement Open Bootloader middleware to communicate USART protocol over USB CDC on Mbed OS 6 I found when I open STM32CubeProgrammer and click Erasing & Programming tab first time, program will freeze. But after first time does not freeze. After Click Erasing & Programming tab. Program send Get ID for 100 packets per sec Graph with 1 Sec interval, Get ID packets (I only filter 0x02) Graph with 100ms interval, Get ID packets Before Click, 2 Get ID per 1 sec After Click, 513 Get ID packets with no delay I also try with FTDI and result is mostly same Graph with 100ms interval, Get ID packets 6-7 packet per 100ms And also 513 packets I also found when before and after buck send. Program change baud rate to 9600 and switch back to 115200 (I use 115200)
Hi,I have couple of questions regarding the LORA Tx numbers specified in the ds for the stm32wle5.we are using VDD=3.3V , 22 dBm , ~928 Mhz LORA. 32 Mhz TCXOwe are NOT using the SMPS . table 29 in the ds mentions that typical current for the stm32 device in Tx High power mode should be 120 mA.I want to know what should be the total current for all chip supplies . I have couple of questions:1. If I understand correctly - this table assumes all chip interfaces are disabled. if I have UART enabled and a few other io's toggling - How much current should I add to the 120 mA number ? (roughly) 2. since we are NOT using SMPS mode . How much current should I add to the 120 mA number ? (roughly) 3. General question - should I see different subghz current consumption when transmitting LORA vs when transmitting CW ? 4. Is there a more accurate way to estimate what should be the total chip current in LORA RX M
Greetings,we are working on to evaluate the data given in lsm6dsv datasheet ,we want to verify the sensitivity and rest of the parameters, could you please provide us the test setup/suitable test rig details with which we can test the sensor...Thank you
Hi, I'm using a custom board based on STM32U5G9J-DK1.I am using DSI Video mode with double buffering, but i had some issues in the DSI video mode.I am using CO5300 driver-based 466 X 466 Display which supports DSI video modeI successfully got a display displaying the actual GUI but it is slightly shifted from the left and from upper and bottom side as well I am attaching images here; the first image is the simulator, and the second is the actual display.Simulator Image:Actual Hardware:My configuration for clocks are as given belowMy MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init() function looks like belowstatic void MX_DSIHOST_DSI_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DSIHOST_Init 0 */ // Power up sequence HAL_GPIO_WritePin(PWR_EN_GPIO_Port, PWR_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(BACKLIGHT_EN_GPIO_Port, BACKLIGHT_EN_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(PANEL_RESET_GPIO_Port, PANEL_RESET_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(10); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(VCI_EN_GPIO_Port, VCI_EN_Pin,
Hi,Is the I2C connector CN2 a standard pinout like PMOD, and if not are there any cables to convert it to PMOD, STEMMA or QWIC?Glenn
HiI am using STM32L562 and sampled and flashed the Zephyr OS example for TrustMode. I could not revert back the TrustZone therefore followed the information from the link https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-security/reverting-option-byte-configuration-after-tf-m-testing-in/m-p/584225/highlight/true#M5879However, after executing the first two commands the board doesn't respond to the command. Hello, from recently I have a problem using STM32F407VGT6, moreover, I am unable to get consecutive conversions in the DMA buffer. For example I want to use Dual Regular Simultaneous ADC mode to obtain results from 4 channels (2 in ADC1 and 2 in ADC2). However, when I start my application only the first iteration is obtained, second part of the buffer is never filled(i.e. CHN3 and CHN4 are never read if CHN1 and CHN2 are rank 0 in ADC1 and ADC2).Setup:main(void)#include "main.h" /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ /* USER CODE END PTD */ /* Private define ------------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PD */ /* USER CODE END PD */ /* Private macro -------------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PM */ /*
Hi.,Could anybody point me to a working example of a working basic IEEE 802.15.4 communication example, NOT Bluetooth, pure radio frequency in 2.4Ghz.I spent about 2 months trying to figure this out for my WB55 series without success and can't waste more time now. There are supposedly tons of examples on the internet, but all are Bluetooth, which I don't want. None for 2.4ghz RF.The https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:Introduction_to_802_15_4 page is of now use as there is not example code. Thanks for any help or guidance.Steve
QuestionI implemented a custom bootloader with USB DFU. It worked without issues on my Windows 10 computer. After switching to a Windows 11 machine, however, my DFU device is no longer recognized. What I’ve triedConnected the device again on Windows 10. It appears in Device Manager, plays the connection/disconnection sound, and read/write operations work with STM32CubeProgrammer. This confirms that neither the bootloader nor the USB cable is the root cause.Installed STM32CubeProgrammer on Windows 11, but it reports “No DFU detected.”On Windows 11, there is absolutely no activity related to the DFU device in Device Manager. Other DFU devices, such as the STLink, are listed and working correctly.RequestWhat steps can I take to get my DFU bootloader detected on Windows 11?
Nucleo Board STM32F401RE , STM32CubeIDE 1.19 16x2 LCD confirmed to be working using Arduino UnoHi, I am just starting with STM32 and trying to figure out my way around it after using Arduino Uno for a long time for simple projects with sensors. I installed IDE , created a new project, selected my board from the first menu and so far everything is OK. I generated code without changing anything related to clock or the pin out. The problem is that even though I have not added any code to the project, the IDE opens a different c file every time I upload code, sometimes with a HAL in the name other times it opens this file startup_stm32f401xe.s and highlights this line ldr sp, =_estack /* set stack pointer */I went back and enabled the builtin green LED and added 2 lines in the while to toggle it every 500ms, then uploaded the code but weirdly even after the upload is finished sometimes the LED would start toggling on and off but on the next upload it wouldn`t. the exact
stm32-hotspot BOOTLOADER_USB_MSC_STM32G0 can be used as a good starting point for a USB MSC bootloader. The provided examples work, but if the application size increases, the bootloader will be erased, finally causing a hard fault. It took a me while to find the reason: After loading the application the bootloader erases the unused flash memory. Due to an error in line 145 of main.c the wrong number of flash pages to erase is calculated:flashErase.NbPages = flashErase.Page - 24flashErase.Page is the first page to erase. For small application sizes the number of pages to be deleted will be small enough to not exceed the bank size and everything seems to be fine. But if the application size exceeds about 104K, the number of pages to be erased will get large enough to wrap around and also erase the boot loader. To calculate the correct number of unused pages, flashErase.Page should have been subtracted from the total number of pages.I didn't test what happens if the app
My freshly arrived and assembled STEVAL-ROBKIT works well in Autonomous and Follow-Me mode but not in Drive. Nor does the "lock" toggle seem to do anything. Lock does not stop Follow-Me if activated. Any ideas?John FergusonSt Petersburg, FL

Hello ST team,I am currently trying to deploy an rPPG (remote photoplethysmography) model to the STM32N6 using the ST Edge AI Developer Cloud. My model’s input tensor has the following 6-dimensional shape:(B, 8, 3, 36, 36, 3)B = batch size8 = temporal frames3 = feature channels36x36 = spatial resolution3 = RGB channelsI uploaded a fully quantized ONNX model (int8_qdq.onnx) through the web UI and ran Analyze using a custom profile. However, the analysis fails with the following error: ST Edge AI Core v2.2.0-20266 2adc00962 WARNING: Unsupported keys in the current profile n6-allmems-O3 are ignored: memory_desc > memory_desc is not a valid key anymore, use machine_desc instead INTERNAL ERROR: Unexpected combination of configuration and input shape To help reproduce the issue, I have attach
In the linker script provided by STM for STM32G474RETx, the memory section is:MEMORY { CCMSRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 32K RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 512K } But in the reference manual RM0440 section 2.4 page 88 it states that:Category 3 devices feature up to 128 Kbytes SRAM:• 80 Kbytes SRAM1 (mapped at address 0x2000 0000)• 16 Kbytes SRAM2 (mapped at address 0x2001 4000)• 32 Kbytes CCM SRAM (mapped at address 0x1000 0000 and end of SRAM2)I'm confused as to why the RAM is declared as 128K when that's the combined total of SRAM1 + SRAM2 + CCMSRAM, and there's also CCNSRAM declared separately. Is it so that RAM covers all SRAM but you can also place specific things in the CCMSRAM section?
Hello, I've to receive three continuous signals from the channels like x,y and z through ADC's. For receiving those three channels i used 3 separate ADC's like ADC1,2 and 3 for X,Y and Z respectively. The X data is coming at the rate of 8.2ms But the Y and Z data's are coming at the rate of 16.02micro seconds. By using three different adc's for receiving these values and how can i store it in a DMA Buffer. By the way i tried so many methods like TRGO Timer interrupt for every 3.2micro seconds to trigger the ADC to sample and store the data. First i tried by taking only one adc and connected the Y signal, even though so many samples were missing in between. Assume like i've to receive 0-4096 kind of data's. But i'm receiving like 512,514,517,912,978,946,1233,1242,1256... This is the format i'm reading the data from my DMA buffer from live expressions option. In ADC Configurations, I've tried with enabling the Continuous mode by setting it as enabled and disable. The data is not coming in
