Hi I have a diode which i believe is a zener diode as the marking on the bottom line is zthe 3 lines are as followtop line= st and a 6 at the endmiddle line= CU6bottom line= z 721i need to know what diode it is and what voltage and current value it is, thanks in advance
CubeMX 6.16.1 MacOS 15.7.3 IntelSTM32H563ZITxI have a project using FreeRTOS with 5 tasks. If you go into <Categories><X-CUBE_FREERTOS>Choose <Tasks and Queues> click on one of the tasks. An Edit panel comes up to help you set all sorts of stuff.Click on "Task name" column header to re-sort the list according to task name and click on one of the tasks. The Edit panel comes up for the wrong task. The changes you make get applied to the task shown, but the wrong task gets shown. That is all
I'm attempting to follow https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/using-the-itm-console-for-printf-redirects-and-lwip-debug/tac-p/850072/highlight/true#M1661 but this always fails. This is on an STM32F303K8T. My reference manual saysand offers an example: "To output a simple value to the TPIU:• Configure the TPIU and assign TRACE I/Os by configuring the DBGMCU_CR (refer toSection 33.17.2: TRACE pin assignment and Section 33.16.3: Debug MCUconfiguration register)• Write 0xC5ACCE55 to the ITM Lock Access Register to unlock the write access to theITM registers• Write 0x00010005 to the ITM Trace Control Register to enable the ITM with Syncenabled and an ATB ID different from 0x00• Write 0x1 to the ITM Trace Enable Register to enable the Stimulus Port 0• Write 0x1 to the ITM Trace Privilege Register to unmask stimulus ports 7:0• Write the value to output in the Stimulus Port Register 0: this can be done by software(using a printf function)"Based on this, and based
I have configured the comparator 2 PB6 on the STM32G071RB Nucleo board. It is configured for rising edge interrupt. As soon as HAL_COMP_Start is called on the COMP you can see the EXTI rising edge interrupt flag immediately go high. (well not immediately, it happens when HAL_COMP_Start is in its startup wait loop so presumably as soon as the COMP peripheral physically starts up.) This happens even if I change it to falling edge but I guess that should be expected. but certainly not reliably both!It seems that this is how the MCU works as I can't find any obvious mistakes in the LL or HAL driver startup function. I have seen several posts to this effect over the last 4-5 years with 1 to 2 replies but no solution. I think the reference manual needs to mention that this will happen as it seems to be an MCU behavior. Is it only the G0?The COMP output also triggers. But the input does not move. My guess is that when COMP is activated the initial value of the negative input
I have an STM32F4227 that identifies its USB port to a host PC and all information looks correct but no data is sent or received. Looking with the debugger the microcontroller is running task scheduler but does not recognize messages being sent. Is there a register i should be looking at to determine if the USB interface is indeed operating correctly? That it would identify itself but not be able to detect any messages?
A while ago I auto updated to 2.0.0. Prior to that, I was able to change the repository location. The instructions were nicely noted here: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/how-to-change-the-repository-directory-location/m-p/114938 Now with 2.0.0, the Firmware Updater option is missing from from Windows -> Preferences: I don't see anything listed in the release notes document found here: https://www.st.com/resource/en/release_note/rn0114-stm32cubeide-release-v200-stmicroelectronics.pdf Has this functionality been completely removed and we're now forced to have our repository in our User account folder on Windows? FWIW, I also don't see a way of changing it in CubeMX. Thanks, C-Coder
Pull field is not set on UART8 GPIO when configured as single-wire.STM32H743 / STM32H753.
During RTC init when RTC_EnterInitMode is called a unit sets the INIT bit of the RTC_ISR register in the HAL but when it waits for the bit set to respond it times out with the bit never being set. I have run this same firmware on hundreds of other units with no issue. If the INITF does not set is it likely due to an internal issue of the microcontroller?
Hello,I am working with an STM32H573 and I would like to implement OEMiROT.Is it possible to use OEMiROT without activating TrustZone on this device? If it is possible, is there an official or recommended ST method?Any clarification or pointers to documentation or real-world implementations would be appreciated.Thank you.
I need to save power in a project; the system will turn on when shaken. I need to configure INT1 pin to leave the LDO open for 15-20 seconds. Conditions:1- Did the device move? (acceleration)2- Are the x, y, and z axes in the correct position? If conditions 1 and 2 are met, set INT1 high for 15 seconds. Is this possible? Are there any documents available on how to use int1 and int2?
Hello STM Community,I am facing a GPIO output issue on the STM32 NUCLEO-WL55JC2 board and would like some clarification.Test case:I am using the following line of code to set a GPIO pin HIGH: HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_0, GPIO_PIN_SET); // LED ON Observation on different boards: NUCLEO-F446RE:Same code used.GPIO pin goes HIGH correctly.External LED connected to the pin turns ON.Multimeter shows ~3.3 V on the pin. NUCLEO-WL55JC2:Same code used.Code flashes successfully, no errors.GPIO pin does not show any voltage when measured with a multimeter.External LED connected to the same pin does not turn ON.Onboard LEDs (LD1, LD2, LD3) work correctly.GPIO configuration:Pin configured as GPIO Output (Push-Pull) in CubeMX.No alternate function selected. No pull-up or pull-down enabled.Board powered via USB.STM32CubeIDE version: v1.19Key concern:Even after calling HAL_GPIO_WritePin(..., GPIO_PIN_SET), the GPIO pin on NUCLEO-WL55JC2 does not show 3.3 V,
Hello,I want to use the STLink-V3PWR and OpenOCD in SWD mode. I can just use hla_swd as transport and not SWD otherwise I will get the error "Debug adapter doesn't support 'swd' transport". Is there no possibility to use SWD?BR
Hello ST Community,Based on a photo found on the internet of the LIS3DH chip and a comparison with the package information in the datasheet, I found a discrepancy in the footprint. The datasheet appears to show the pin-1 mark on the opposite side compared to the photo. I also found differences between two different online libraries that you recommend on your website.I am pretty sure that the correct position is as shown in the photo or in the Ultra Librarian library, but could you please clarify the correct location of the pin-1 mark, both on the top of the IC and on the bottom of the IC?Many thanks.Internet Photo:Datasheet page 50 (LGA-16 package information)SymacSys library ( https://componentsearchengine.com/ )Ultra Librarian 3D model (TOP, Opacity 25%)What do you think @Federica Bossi ? ;)
Hi Sir,1. Regarding Initialization (Absolute Orientation)In my application, I need to obtain an absolute orientation (Roll, Pitch, and Yaw) relative to the Earth's frame. Is my understanding correct that the Initial Quaternion must be computed using both Accelerometer and Magnetometer data (as per DT0058 Step 4) to establish the starting reference?Since the gyroscope only measures angular rates, is it true that a 6-axis (Acc+Gyro) initialization alone cannot provide an absolute Yaw/Heading reference?2. Regarding DT0060 Step 2 I would like to confirm the definitions and implementation of the mixing process:Q1 Definition: Is Q1 the "dynamic quaternion" that is updated via gyroscope integration in Step 1?Q2 Definition: Is Q2 the "reference quaternion" calculated from the accelerometer and magnetometer data, used to correct the drift of Q1?Weighting Parameter (alpha): For a handheld device, what is the recommended range for the alpha parameter in the formula Q = Q1*alpha + Q2*(1-alpha) to

Hello, I'm trying to use ODR-triggered to get data aligned with my clock. I'm sending a square wave 50% duty cycle period 2000ms over INT2 pin, yet when I poll the IMU every 50 ms the accel and gyro data changes, even though it should be aligned to the edges every 1000 ms.I've double checked the registers to confirm they are correct and have an analyzer attached to verify INT2 pin is being sent signals. // init.c lsm6dsv320x_block_data_update_set(&data->ctx, PROPERTY_ENABLE); lsm6dsv320x_xl_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_OFF); lsm6dsv320x_gy_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_OFF); lsm6dsv320x_xl_mode_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_XL_ODR_TRIGGERED_MD); lsm6dsv320x_gy_mode_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_GY_ODR_TRIGGERED_MD); lsm6dsv320x_xl_full_scale_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_2g); lsm6dsv320x_gy_full_scale_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_2000dps); lsm6dsv320x_xl_data_rate_set(&data->ctx, LSM6DSV320X_ODR_AT_240Hz); l
I'm using STM32CubeMX for STM32N657x0HxQ controller. I would like to use ST ISP Library to handle MB1854 camera module. But I could not find the X-CUBE-ISP in STM32CubeMX Pinout & Configuration page, which is as follows. So I tried to import x-cube-isp.zip file downloaded from GitHub. But I came across the following error message. My STM32CubeMX version is Version 6.16.1 for Windows 11.
Hi !We are using an SR5E1E7. We want to put it as LockStep (both core and dma).So we have to setup the register 'Global System Configuration' / SYS_CFG_REG.We seen that we need to use the DCF.Do you have any example / file to setup this mcu like this ? We couldn't find any document on the web, execpt the MPC5xxx DCF configuration from NXP.Here some question we had:- How can we calculate this ? Have you any DCF configurator xsl like NXP are doing ?- To set the Cores as Lock Step and the DMA as Lock Step, we need to only write to the 'Core Enable and LSConfiguration' of the DCF ? With the value being the one we want in the 'Global System Configuration DCF' with the exact same mapping. '0b00000000000000010000000100000011' in our case, all core enabled and all lock step set- Does this step can be done at runtime ? By directly addressing the adr 0x1FF80398 ?- Or is this only accessible during JTAG programming ? So we can create the dcf_map in a specific .dcf section that will
Hi,I am working with STM32G491RET6 and currently implementing the ADC. I have a question regarding the ADC reference voltage. If the external 3.3 V supply is removed from the VREF+ pin and VREFBUF is disabled, does the ADC operate using any internal reference voltage, or will the ADC readings be invalid?Could someone clarify how the ADC reference behaves in this case?
I am using STM32G491RE - NUCLEO.Similar to this post - ( https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/reading-data-with-brs-on-fdcan-line/m-p/745625#M266951)I implemented the function of receiving and transmitting data from the FDCAN line.I configured my FDCANs with BRS mode everything works fine, the only change that causes errors is when I switch TxHeader.BitRateSwitch = FDCAN_BRS_OFF to ON. Then the FIFO fill up like the chip is not receiving ACK with just this change.int main(void) { ..... MX_FDCAN2_Init(); FDCAN_Config(); while (1) { while (HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(BTN_GPIO_Port, BTN_Pin) == KEY_PRESSED) { ...... if (HAL_FDCAN_AddMessageToTxFifoQ(&hfdcan2, &TxHeader, TxData) != HAL_OK) { uint32_t psr = hfdcan2.Instance->PSR; Error_Handler(); } HAL_Delay(10); } }} static void MX_FDCAN2_Init(void) { hfdcan2.Instance = FDCAN2; hfdcan2.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan2.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_BRS; hfdcan2.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL;
Hello everyone, I've finished my project with STM32WBA55 and now I'm going to design a small circuit board. I'm using Altium Designer. I can't access the CAD files for Nucleo WBA55. Can you help me? I don't understand if St.com has changed or is no longer available. I need access to the files shown in the image below. CAD in this image
Hello, everyone! My project consists of creating a sensor system that works with NFC. It will be a TAG with the st25dv04k chip, which will power a set of chips through Energy Harvesting. The reader system consists of the ST25R300, chosen for its transmission power. Currently, for the first steps, I am using the development cores: NFC04A1 and NFC12A1. And the RFAL middleware with STM32CubeIDE. My first steps were to use the library's polling example to do an initial anchoring test between the tag and reader, which worked well. My current goal is to expand the polling example to work better with Energy Harvesting, and thus achieve higher voltage measurements to consolidate the idea of powering chips with it.I made an improvised measurement on the EH pin of the x-core while it was running the polling example on the NFC12A1 x-core, to get an idea, and I reached 10 mV on the EH pin. What can I do to increase this to perhaps 1V, for example? Would it be possible to reach 3V in EH?Fr
Hello everybody,I'm using an L6981C50DR for supplying a small board with 5V. The schematics is attached and should be perfectly conform to what is described in the specification from https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/l6981.pdf as "Figure 4. Basic application (fixed VOUT versions)" on page 3. I'm supplying 24V to it. Everything works well when I turn on and off the power via the switching power supply that provides these 24V. But when I reboot my board the "easy way" by pulling out and reconnecting the +24V wire, the L6981 dies immediately. After this, pin 4/Vout is permanently at GND letting me assume something has melted within the IC.When measuring the switching power supply with an oscilloscope, it provides a small peak in such a scenario but this peak does not go beyond of 28V - which is far below the 40V the L6981 should be able to deal with.So...any ideas what the reason for this problem is and how to solve it?Thanks!
Is this connection real?I don't think so. DCACHE implementation subchapter says:The DCACHE1 is placed on Cortex®-M33 S-AHB bus, and caches only the external RAMmemory region (OCTOSPI, HSPI, and FMC), in the address range [0x6000 0000:0xAFFFFFFF] of the memory map.Indeed, by placing a bus matrix demultiplexing node in front of the DCACHE1, S-AHB busmemory requests addressing SRAM region or peripherals region (respectively in ranges[0x2000 0000:0x3FFF FFFF] and [0x4000 0000:0x5FFF FFFF]) are routed directly to themain AHB bus matrix, and the DCACHE1 is bypassed.whereas the GFXMMU slave port is at 0x2400'0000.JW
Hello STM community, I am working with the STM32N6570-DK Discovery kit and trying to build a pipeline for live camera streaming over Ethernet using NetX Duo, ThreadX and FileX. I am currently using the inbuilt CubeIDE example project Nx_WebServer. My current setup is: STM32N6570-DKAzure RTOS: ThreadX, NetX Duo, FileXEthernet RMII with static IPSD card for web contentHTTP server using NetX DuoGoal: later integrate CSI camera streaming over Ethernet What works: The board gets a static IP successfully.Ethernet link is up.Ping works from PC.SD card is mounted correctly and HTML files are accessible through FileX.HTTP server starts without error. Issue faced: I am unable to move forward toward live camera streaming. There is no reference or example for CSI camera streaming over Ethernet using NetX Duo on STM32N6570.I also faced multiple issues with thread creation order and NetX initialization, which took significant time to debug. My question: Is there any recommended architecture, applicat
