Hi everyone,I’m working on the STM32N6570-DK and trying to run a NetXDuo Web HTTP server as part of a secure application executing in XIP (external flash).I started from the available examples (which run from internal RAM / FSBL), but after moving the application to XIP, I’m facing instability issues (intermittent crashing issues, no ping response, etc.).From initial debugging, this seems related to:Execution latency from XIPPossible cache / MPU configuration or memory placement issuesMy questions:Is there any official or reference example for:STM32N6570-DKNetXDuo (HTTP Web server)Running in XIP mode (external flash)Within a secure application contextAre there recommended guidelines for:Placing NetXDuo and ETH driver code (RAM vs XIP)?MPU/cache configuration when using XIP with networking?Memory regions for packet pools and DMA buffers?Has anyone successfully run NetX Duo HTTP server reliably in XIP on STM32N6?

Hello everyone,I want to develop an IoT application based on STM32L496 and I am working with the BG96 modem that is embedded on P-L496-CELL02 board. The exchange of AT commands with the modem is succesfull, but, even though i insert a plastic microsim (I have actually tried two of them), i keep getting an error message "Sim Not inserted". I have enabled the simselect0 (PC2) and simselect1 (PI3) pins in CubeMX, as it is indicated by the manual (set to 0 and 1, respectively) and verify their value with my code. The board is powered with an external supply source, through Arduino Vin. The BG96 firmware version is BG96MAR02A08M1G. I have inspected soldering, short-circuits between the sim socket and contacts and everything seems to be alright. I cannot understand what could possibly be the problem, does anyone have a clue? I would be grateful. Here is my code. All AT commands return OK and seem to work. int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU C
Good day, I am currently working on the development of an IoT sensor node product based around the STM32WLE5CC MCU. The product needs to be able to wake up from sleep on reception of a LoRa RF message. I have attempted to accomplish this by transmitting a long preamble and having the node receive the message by setting the radio in RxDutyCycle mode prior to sleeping. The timing of my duty cycle is such that I am guaranteed an Rx window within the preamble duration. This wakeup functionality works, however, the RSSI of the received wakeup signal is shown to be >20dBm lower than if I had just used continuous reception. This is a problem as we are now encountering suspected range issues where units can detect the preamble but fail to fully receive the associated payload. I have gone through multiple test setups with different spreading factors and the results are consistent across the tests: Test 1.1 (SF = 7, BW = 125 kHz, Preamble Len = 500, Rx = Full Receive) Wake RSSI = -
Hello ST Community,I am currently working on a project using the STM32WB05KNV6TR microcontroller. I am using STM32CubeIDE Version 2.0.0, and I have ensured that all MCU packages and embedded software packs are up to date.Specifically, as shown in the attached screenshot, I have the STM32Cube MCU Package for STM32WB0 Series (v1.4.1) installed. However, when I try to create a new project and use the Target Selector (MCU/MPU Selector), the STM32WB05 series—and specifically the STM32WB05KNV6TR—does not appear in the list.I urgently need to access the Pinout & Configuration view to finalize my hardware design and verify the pin assignments.Steps I have already taken:Updated STM32CubeIDE to the latest available version.Refreshed and installed the latest WB0 series patches via the Embedded Software Packages Manager.Restarted the IDE and checked the board/MCU selector filters.Questions:Is there a specific patch or an external ".pdsc" file required to enable STM32WB05 support in CubeIDE 2.0
Hi Everyone, I am working on a NUCLEO-H753ZI board and want to set up Ethernet RMII communication using LwIP in STM32CubeIDE. I am looking for step-by-step guidance from the IOC file configuration to the generated code, including: Pinout configuration for RMII. LwIP middleware settings. MPU region configuration for Ethernet and LwIP memory Generating code and linker settings Any tips to ensure that ping from PC works reliably Could provide a complete, detailed guide. how to configure CubeIDE and LwIP for NUCLEO-H753ZI. Thanks in advance.
Hello Community, I am struggling with a custom board design based on the STM32H743ZIT6 (LQFP144, non-SMPS version). I’ve replaced the MCU already, but the symptoms remain identical, suggesting a fundamental hardware/layout issue. The Symptoms: Current Draw: 10mA when BOOT0 = GND. Approx. 50mA when BOOT0 = 3.3V (System Bootloader). VCAP Voltage: Measuring approx. 1.0V. Debug Connection: Using Segger J-Link (V11). "Failed to initialize DAP" / "Can not attach to CPU". VTref is stable at 3.3V, NRST is at 3.3V. USB DFU: When BOOT0 = 3.3V, Windows reports "Device Descriptor Request Failed" (Unknown Device) when connected via usb. SWD Pins: PA13/PA14 show ~1.6V when floating (no debugger connected), which is highly unusual Same Symptoms if 3.3V are supplied by ams1117 or laboratory power supply My Schematic: VBat, all Vdds, Vdda, VRef, PDR_ON are all connected to 3.3V all GNDs and AGND are connected to GND each Vcaps (2x) has a 2.2uF capacitor (alltough i am not sure abo

Hi, for an old project of mine I need the STM32CubeF4 v1.21.0 + HAL v1.5.7 but I can't find the download links to that version anymore. It seems like they got deleted from GitHub? Can someone supply me with the old version of the STM32CubeF4 including the HAL? Cheers!
Hi Is there an example using a STM32C5 as a USB host controller connecting a USB HID (mouse/keyboard) as input device?
I have a 14-pin connector and a 6-pin fall back connector. I can connect the 6-pin SWD via st-link V2 on a nucleo board but I cannot connect with a V3 MINIE on the 14-pin. Any ideas? I followed the schematic for a 14-pin connector I found on a NUCLEO board, which had a 100 ohm resistor on GND detect. I have bypassed it but the result is still the same. Apart from that and the TX/RX, the wires are the same for the 6-pin connector that works? Here's my output:CDLiveWatchSetup Info : auto-selecting first available session transport "hla_swd". I'm experiencing some issues with indexing of clangd. I'm working on a project including Bluetooth LE and the ble_types.h header file makes extensive use of the preprocessor define __PACKED_STRUCT which is defined in one of the CMSIS compiler header files (e.g., cmsis_gcc.h for GCC compiler). clangd is for some reason not able to resolve the typedefs using __PACKED_STRUCT which makes code browsing harder and auto-completion does not work for these types.I found a workaround by adding the __PACKED_STRUCT define explicitly in the .clangd config file.My current .clangd file looks as follows:CompileFlags: Add: - '-ferror-limit=0' - '-Wno-implicit-int' - '-D__PACKED_STRUCT=struct __attribute__((packed, aligned(1)))' CompilationDatabase: build/Debug Diagnostics: Suppress: - unused-includes - unknown_typename - unknown_typename_suggest - typename_requires_specqual Completion: HeaderInsertion: NeverSo I basically added the preprocessor define to the CompileFlags. Of course this is n

Hello. I am trying to encrypt/decrypt data in secure area of stm32h563 (Trustzone application), using code from one of the examples (using cmox_cipher_encrypt function). Running the function in non-secure area, everything works fine. Trying to run that in secure area immediatly hardfaults. It seems like problem might be that the library tries to access something in the non secure area. Initial thought was CRC engine, but in cubemx i specificly initialized that to secure area because it will be used in there. Is there some known workaround or updated libraries to use cmox_cipher_encrypt in secure area?
Hello everyone.I'm novice in cryptografic,I'm developing a project with STM32H7.I have a file on uSD and I can read it using FatFs.I have to crypto this file using CRYP_AES_GCM.I setup IOC in this wayThe IOC build this file for meMy file has 98MByte of size but I cannot fit the whole size in a Heap Buffer because free space in Heap is 60KByte but I can prefer to reserve at least 32KByte to have some space available for other c++ objects. So I develop a code that reads 32KByte-chunks from the source file and crypto this chunk before to write in the crypted file. But I have a dubt: to crypt this chunk of file I call HAL_CRYP_Encrypt(&hcryp, (uint32_t*)ptr, (byteRead+3)/4, (uint32_t*)ptr, 1000UL);But if I inspect this API I notice that it resets some sort o f counter So I think that I'm wrong because probably I have to not reset this counter and, instead, put the next chunk to the crypt. Is my doubt a certainty ? And there is a way to check, once the file i
I found I can not config ToucgGFX to APPmode. It's seems I have to config EXTEM Loader first.I tried many management, but still fail to use TouchGFX in APP.I wonder if there's other way to use GFX.By the way,I have to write the link files to fit in my HyperRam and Flash. Is there something to do with the"EXTEM Loader"and "EXTEM Manager"?Thanks a lot!
i am getting attached error, kindly suggest further
Hey all, just installed STM32CubeIDE on cachyOS and connected my HiLetGo STM32F103C8T6 dev board (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VKSVM21), and the IDE is giving me the following error when I try to debug or deploy:I tried installing ST-LINK-SERVER separately just to be safe, and it said that it was already installed. (I assume as part of the Cube IDE installation.) Also reinstalled libusb (Version 1.0.29-1.1).I can see STM32x_USB under Removable Devices in the system browser when plugged in, so I know the board is connecting at least. Any ideas here?
I started getting this message when I try to debug my code. However, there are currently no breakpoints in my code at all. I have gotten this in the past and I deleted and redownloaded the IDE which I really do not want to do again. I am running it on Mac. Any suggestions are helpful.// Simple ADC Reader // ADC1_1 on PA1 // Port A on AHB1 // ADC on APB2 #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include "printUSART.h" int val = 0; int main(void){ USART2_Init(); RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOAEN; GPIOA->MODER = GPIO_MODER_MODE0_0 | GPIO_MODER_MODE0_1; RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_ADC1EN; ADC1->CR2 = 0; ADC1->SQR3 |= ADC_SQR3_SQ1_0; ADC1->CR2 |= ADC_CR2_ADON; while(1){ ADC1->CR2 |= ADC_CR2_SWSTART; while(!(ADC1->SR & ADC_SR_EOC)){} val = ADC1->DR; printf("\n%d", val); } }
Board: NUCLEO-WL33 Toolchain: CMake + arm-none-eabi-gcc CubeMX version: 6.17.0 STM32CubeIDE version: 2.1.1I am trying to run a basic STM32WL33 project generated by STM32CubeMX using the CMake toolchain instead of the native STM32CubeIDE project format. The same CubeMX configuration, when generated as a native STM32CubeIDE project, works correctly and reaches HAL_Init() in main.c without any issue. However, when using the CMake-based output, the firmware crashes during startup andnever reaches main().SymptomsDebugger halts inside SystemInit() at line 200 (system_stm32wl3x.c), or jumps to an address outside valid memory (0x100004ee — inside the ROM region 0x10000000–0x100017FF) Is there a known-good CMake startup/linker reference for the STM32WL33?
[PN]: STSPIN32G4 (custom board), AMT103 encoder[VERSION]: MCSDK v6.4.1[TOOL]: MC WB[DETAILS]:I need to implement torque control for my custom board and BLDC motor using a quadrature encoder as the primary feedback sensor.First, I successfully profiled my motor in sensorless mode using the SDK and incorporated those values into my Workbench project. When using this sensorless configuration outside of the Profiler, I can reliably drive my motor in both torque and speed control modes (using MC_FOC_SDK.qml). At this point I have also configured the encoder as an auxillary sensor, and can see its measured RPM in Motor Pilot match the sensorless RPM feedback. This encoder has an index pin, but I am not using it in my configuration since I do not want to run in Position Control mode. Now, I have reconfigured my project to use the encoder as the primary sensor and "sensorless" as the auxillary. The result in torque control mode is that the rotor locks into place and resists manual spinning. Thi

We are developing a safety-related application based on an STM32 microcontroller and aligning our design with IEC 60730 Class B requirements. In our application, we implement fault detection mechanisms for analog and digital signals (e.g., sensor inputs, voltage monitoring, heater control). Due to noise and transient conditions, we are considering adding a software debounce/filtering time before declaring a fault. We would like clarification on the following points: Does IEC 60730 Class B explicitly require or prohibit the use of debounce time for fault detection? Is it acceptable to introduce a software debounce (e.g., 100 MSto a few seconds) to avoid false fault triggering? Are there any recommended guidelines from ST for implementing debounce while still complying with Class B requirements? Does the STM32 IEC 60730 Class B self-test library include any reference implementation or best practices for handling such debounce scenarios?
I am using a Nucleo STM32F411, without any hardware modification.I am working on a project which involves only UART and Debug monitor interrupt, so my code does not write anything to flash nor to option bytes. Yet it seems that the board is bricked after running my firmware. I tried STM32_Programmer_CLI and STM32CubeProgrammer to erase the flash but both fail:is there a way to recover the board ?
Hello There, Where can I find the example code for interfacing L9305 through SPI? Please suggest some sample Code.
