I am trying to do tcp client application with stm32n6570-dk board and when  I select RGMII mode in ETH1, ethernet interface is grayed out in network interface settings in netxduo. How can I fix it?

Cube IDE versiyon is 1.19.0, CubeMX version is 6.15.0 -RC7.

Hello @erik71

I suggest you to put the cursor on the greyed option (ethernet interface under network interface settings in netxduo). A pop-up message should tell you why this option is not available and what to do to make it available again if this is possible.

Best Regards.

Hello @Issamos

In the pop-up message "Ethernet Interface Disabled: Active only if ETH IP is enabled." is written. What does ETH IP mean? I am configuring ETH1 as RGMII mode.

Thank you for your answer.

Hello @erik71

First let me thank you for posting .

Instead of choosing ETH:RGMII , try to set it as RMII

Then you will become capable to use the ethernet interface option within the NETXDUO

In the meantime, I am looking into the reason why the Ethernet interface option in NetX Duo remains grayed out when the ETH interface is configured to use RGMII. I will get back to you asap.

Hello @erik71

I confirm that this is a current limitation. An internal ticket (ID: 217238) has been raised and escalated to the development team for further investigation and resolution.

I will keep you posted with updates.
