STM32CubeIDE v1.17.0 - same problem on Windows 11 and Ubuntu 18.04
When I press the Butterfly icon it opens an "MPU Serial" console window and says "CONNECTED" but there's no prints.
Meanwhile I can still connect via terminal program (TeraTerm on Windows, minicom on Linux) and see the prints.
On Windows even going into Preferences and selecting the preferred port to the one that works in TeraTerm doesn't change anything.
On Linux I was able to fix it this way.
I am currently unblocked because I can continue on Ubuntu 18.04 but I figured I'd report this anyway...
