STM32L4R9ZIJ6 - DSI Pin connections if DSI funtion not used

MCowp.1
Associate II

I am using the STM32L4R9ZIJ6 but do not use the DSI Host function. Can the following DSI function pins be left unconnected if the DSI function is not used:

DSI_CKN, DSI_CKP

DSI_DS__D0N, DSI_D0P

DSI_D1N, DSI_D1P

The STM32L4R9 data sheet DS12023 Rev 5, table 15 refers to note (3) for these pins. However Note (3) details the requirement for NC balls

yes, you can leave the DSI pins unconnected if you don't need them.

Please do not get confused: note 3 relates to the housing variants that do not contain the respective pin function, e.g. LQFP100 or WLCSP144.

Good luck!
